She was always super quick with our emails back and forth, and wanted to make sure any changes that needed to be made were done without worry!Giving 4 stars just because we requested bar stools prior to the wedding day and then several times the morning of getting ready, and got them an hour late so our makeup girls were uncomfortable doing our makeup - also because we were promised free parking in the garage for using the wedding suite, but we were charged and had to get it fixed after. The sunset was also spectacular from the windows. Morgan goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect and runs smoothly. Although our dates overlapped with the College World Series & the hotel was extremely busy, we always felt well-taken care of. There was also a change in our event coordinator/manager between when we got engaged and our wedding day due to the original coordinator leaving the company. Our event details were handed off seamlessly to another manager, and the hotel was well-prepared, friendly, and responsive to all of our needs & questions leading up to & after the event. I worked with Emily Jewell - Catering Manager - and she was a lifesaver when it came to planning our special day. She was very knowledgeable on all of the things that the Hilton offered. She gave great recommendations on the layout of the room, the up lighting, music, food, decor, etc. True professional. She was always so prompt in responding to my several emails daily! \r\rWe selected a package deal with the Hilton that included the chair covers, chair ties, up lighting, large monogram with our names for the wall, open bar, and our meal. It made everything so easy for us. We weren't running around adding vendors to make the room look great; the Hilton literally offered everything that we wanted! They beat out all the other hotels that we looked into in the downtown area too. I was worried that it was out of our price range and almost didn't go meet with them, but I'm sure glad that I did! \r\rThe hotel has big windows that allow for good lighting and everything looks brand new. It rained a little on our wedding day so we ended up then a few pictures inside the event center area and they turned out great. I'm very pleased. Emily has great taste and was able to make decisions quickly when changes would pop up last minute. She took the wedding day stress away completely! I trusted that she would handle anything that popped up that day and she did. If you are in the process of finding your venue, go meet with Emily Jewell. Ashley Fultz(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 08-12-2013 We are both military and planned our wedding date (a Sunday) around our PCS(moving to Alaska). \rPlanning staff were wonderful, food was fabulous, venue was beautiful. Overall, it was great, but with every event there seems to always be a few glitches.\rThere was a Creighton basketball game, so we planned accordingly by discussing guaranteed parking spots, but our promise of parking was less than expected. Someone forgot to tell the Valets about our parking arrangement, thus many people missed the ceremony since they had no place to park. \rThe Ballroom was beautiful, however, the lights were dimmed way too low and we never even thought about having the brightness raised until we saw our wedding photos. :-(\rThey handled the cake cutting superbly, however, they did NOT keep the cake table filled with cake. Many guests did not get cake and we had A LOT to take home with us.\rWedding suite - with planning and paying for the entire wedding, they comp'd us a wedding suite. However, when we got into it, they chose to put us in a double (rather than one bed for our honeymoon). They did correct it, however, not until my mother called down and request it. \r\rOverall, it was great! I would definitely use this venue again and would suggest it to anyone! Fairly priced, great food and wonderful staff!\r\rThe total cost of service includes venue, food, drink and rooms. Reviewed on 08-01-2014

Be aware that the Grand Ballroom books a year or more in advance, so don't wait too long if you know this is your venue!! The staff were very accomodating and did what they could to make our event exactly what we wanted. They were professional and flexible. We are very happy with Hilton.
