Historic Ann's 1893 is a landmark wedding venue in Union City, TN (between Memphis and Nashville outside the city limits of each). This 5000-square-foot mansion dates back to 1893 and is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. A charming balance of old and new, it has everything you need for a unique and memorable celebration. Multiple restoration projects were conducted to preserve the architectural integrity of Historic Ann's 1893. The mansion has also undergone numerous renovations, which included the addition of modern amenities and comfortable furnishings. The property is located on a four-acre site with indoor and outdoor event spaces accommodating up to 150 people. Pam's Meadow, an enchanting tree-lined area with concrete paving, is a popular ceremony spot. It also features a stunning raised platform with stone steps and twinkling market lights, the perfect starting point to walk down the aisle. After you exchange vows, you can remain outside for a cocktail hour or make your way indoors for your dinner reception. Their main function room is a rustic-chic space with exposed brick walls and warm wood accents elegantly contrasted by sparkling chandeliers. This was the most amazing experience!!! The day went so smoothly, party because of all the planning and partly because of the people behind the venue. We rented the 2 houses on the property and the rooms in the main house as well!! Was absolutely Amazon. Best day ever!!!

Historic Anns was the most beautiful place to host our son and beautiful daughter inlaws wedding this last week. Definitely take up the offer to rent all three air b&bs as that made it so convenient and we were able to all be close for the entire weekend!!

The team at Historic Anns was fabulous. The event space itself is beautiful and charming without having to do too much. I booked the house next door to be on location for days before, they even brought ketchup to the door at 10:30pm when we realized we didn’t have ketchup for my 6yr old sons hotdogs. I would suggest this venue and the team 10 times over.

We chose this based on the fact our family was able to stay on site. Perfect place. It is in downtown Union City so there are neighbors. The home has the perfect historic feel. The owner and on site manager were easily accessible but not hovering. Linens, tables, chairs, ICE, and many extras were included making it even more affordable. (glassware, easels, chargers, big tea dispensers, serving platters, blue tooth sound system, fire pit, stylist chairs, jiffy steamer)

I could not have asked for more professional and courteous service. All plans were well executed. And plot twists were handled swiftly and resolved. Our guests were delighted with the choice of venue. The Bride & Groom couldn't have been happier. It was a colossal success with the assistance of Julie and her team.

My fiancé and I looked at several venues and just could t find one that was affordable and could still give us the wedding we always wanted. That was until I found Historic Ann’s on The Knot and scheduled our tour. Julie has been amazing with the process thus far! She’s very kind, understanding, and explained all details about their venue very clearly. The venue is beautiful. The professionalism and customer service has been astounding! I absolutely adore the inclusivity with how society can be today. I’m so excited to host my dream wedding there next fall. Would HIGHLY recommend them to any couple!

My husband and I absolutely love this Venue. It is very beautiful, and has amazing owners. We had our wedding here in 2021, and also booked it again for our baby shower two years later. Everyone that attended both events couldn’t stop talking about how wonderful the venue was. I would highly recommend for you to book with Julie Hill for all your events.

We have a shopping list full of reasons as to why this was the BEST wedding venue for us, and arguable in the entire West TN area. 1. The hosts, Julie and David, are flexible, understanding, considerate, thoughtful, and willing to work with you in any way you need. 2. AFFORDABILITY!! We needed a beautiful venue with all the accommodations, but at a reasonable price that wouldn’t break the bank. Weddings are expensive, but Julie and David made sure we had a beautiful venue available to us for 2.5 days/nights at a fraction of the cost of other venues in the west TN area. 3. Indoor/outdoor space! Worried about rain? Snow? Too hot/cold? Stop worrying. This venue can be adjusted in the blink of an eye to be indoor or outdoor. we were lucky enough to have great weather so we utilized both areas, but we had piece of mind knowing we would have a great wedding and reception either way! 4. On-site honeymoon suite: we loved being able to stay at the reception until “closing time”. When the party was all done and the guests had left, we were able to sit there in this beautiful place on the long tall wooden staircase steps, hold each others hands, and smile from ear to ear…just taking in the entire experience. Then we were able to retire to the honeymoon suite for some much needed rest. Did I mention the other available on-site room accommodations? What about the AirBnB that’s available right around the corner like 2 houses away? My family was able to stay in the Airbnb house and walk to the venue. This made setup and takedown of the venue an absolute breeze. We can’t say enough good about this place. Julie and David have done great things with the place, it’s always clean, in tip-top condition, and you won’t have a single worry in the world. We had our dream wedding and reception at Historic Ann’s 1893…will you?

When my husband and I started looking for wedding venue’s Historic Ann’s was one of the closest to our home. I scheduled a walk through even though my fiancé had reservations about the space. From the moment I walked into the house until the moment we finished cleaning up, I was blown away. This space really is picture perfect! This venue catered to all our different needs. My bridal party and I took full advantage to the bridal space upstairs. A small kitchen with a coffee bar was perfect for brunch while getting ready in the beauty chairs with mirrors. The full length, 3-panel mirror made for perfect pictures. The bridal suite was classy and perfect for groups photos, a hang out spot for my sweet flower girls, and a place for us to catch our breath after the wedding. The downstairs groomsmen area was great place for them to hang out, shoot pool, and watch TV while everyone was getting ready. We really didn’t have to do much decorating because the house’s beauty and elegance stands alone. The enclosed patio area made for a perfect spot for guest to mingle with drinks and music (it would be perfect for live entertainment). The beautiful and rustic outdoor ceremony space can be easily adapted to match any vision with just a few personal touches. Working with Julie was a breeze. She was so easy to contact, and she answered every question professionally and timely. I never once had any worries or concerns when it came to the venue. I would definitely use this venue again for future events and would highly recommend to other bride’s looking for a beautiful, classy, and stress-free venue option for their intimate wedding.

My partner and I contacted Julie through her website and started the process of planning our wedding from a different state! I couldn't have asked for a more helpful, responsive, and flexible person than Julie. She got in touch with us right away and made the entire process stress-free and fun - that's every bride's dream, right? She was incredibly knowledgable and had answers for all of our little questions. She helped us visualize all the different ways our big day could be organized with Historic Ann's 1893! Julie has gorgeous pictures online, but I was blown away when we got to see the venue for the first time. Everything is exactly as pictured, with all of the beauty, charm, and romance you need to host a spectacular wedding. If you're looking to plan an intimate, one-of-a-kind wedding, I can't recommend Historic Ann's 1893 and Julie Hill enough. We loved every part of our experience.

Awesome doesn’t begin to describe this venue! There are so many options. Every part of this space is magical from the “man cave” on the lower level complete with pool table and a full service kitchen to the bridal party rooms two floors above with lots of space to lounge, make snacks in the cute kitchen alcove or have your hair and makeup done in one of the professional salon chairs. And the outdoor space? Enchanting. The fairy lights strung throughout the trees, brick pathways that wander through the beautifully landscaped yard provide all kinds of photo opportunities. I am really excited about having photos done inside the house and out. And did I mention Julie and David are very easy to work with? Love, Love, Love this place!

Soaring ceilings and dazzling fanciful chandeliers give this venue a special old world charm while providing many modern day updates and amenities. This venue has been lovingly restored, keeping much of the architectural charm of yesteryear while incorporating modern day conveniences by our wonderful hosts, Julie and David. The hosts went out of their way to ensure all of our needs were carefully attended to. The beautiful grand staircase provides the perfect setting for a spectacular bridal entrance or provides access to the lovely second floor accommodations.With access to the full kitchen, it’s the perfect place to host meetings, parties, bridal showers, weddings, or just any special occasion where one might serve food and beverage. I found myself drawn to the beautiful gardens which could serve as lovely place of meditation or perhaps as a space for an intimate gathering. I give this place a resounding 5 stars. I couldn’t have felt more welcomed by the hosts and couldn’t have found a better place to hold my next event. Julie and David are the perfect hosts and this is a “must see venue!”

This is a beautiful one of a kind venue! It offers a southern sophistication that cannot be found anywhere else. The details that have gone into the space do not go unnoticed! It was truly love at first sight when I walked through the doors!

I just had a walk through of Historic Ann’s 1893, and it looks like it will be a fantastic venue for a wedding reception or other similar events once renovations are complete. Located in the historic homes section of Union City, the owners are diligently restoring the home to its former grandeur. From the large porch to the attractive garden area, your guests will have plenty of places to congregate, converse, and celebrate the occasion.
