The Historic Fire Station located at 200 E. Mississippi in downtown Ruston is available for rent. Recently refurbished, it was opened to the public in October of 2008. It boasts a full caterer’s kitchen, original fire poles and beautifully landscaped garden area with pergola and fountain. The building will hold 80 to 120 people making it the perfect venue for weddings, rehearsal dinners, parties, or business meetings.

We had our ceremony outside in the courtyard and the reception inside. The Historic Fire Station is the perfect venue for small weddings and receptions.

The Historic Fire Station is perfect for small weddings (100 people). I had my reception there and everything was so much better than I could have imagined! The staff is easy to work with, though you do have to coordinate with outside catering.
