My experience at Hamilton Hall was absolutely wonderful! Robin is so incredibly amazing and really helped us feel at ease during our big day. The building is gorgeous and we are so happy we chose this venue for our wedding. Reviewed on 15-10-2023

I had my wedding at Hamilton Hall on 12/2/22 with 150 people. The entire night was absolutely wonderful. Being the youngest of 3 girls, I have experienced venue coordinators before in two other weddings, so I can say with experience that Robin is phenomenal at her job. She is detail-oriented, compassionate and ensured that the night went off exactly as we planned it together. The space is BEAUTIFUL. When you enter the venue you can feel the charm and welcoming vibe. It was important to me that I knew the history of where I was getting married, and the history of Hamilton Hall is rooted in celebrations, presidential visits, not to mention anti-slavery and women’s sufferage involvement. You will not have to decorate much as the space is breathtaking. Vinwood is their caterer and their food speaks for itself. I absolutely love Hamilton Hall and am so happy I started my marriage celebrating here! Reviewed on 05-05-2023
Jordan LaCross(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 30-09-2022 We got married at Hamilton Hall on September 30th, 2022. It was a perfect day! We held our ceremony in the park across the street from Hamilton Hall and it was gorgeous. The inside of venue, where we had cocktail hour and the reception, has so much character and is so rich in history, which we loved. It was unique compared to so many other venues we have seen. It’s in a central location in downtown Salem so there’s lots to do to keep guests entertained leading up to and after the wedding. Robin, our day-of coordinator, was a dream to work with. She made sure our day went off without a hitch. Vinwood Caterers was amazing. There’s a reason they’re the sole vendor for Hamilton Hall and it’s because they’re that good. All our guests still talk to us about how charming and elegant Hamilton Hall is. Also - it’s relatively affordable to rent, which is highly important if you’re a couple like us that didn’t want to/didn’t have the means to spend a fortune on a wedding. Reviewed on 18-10-2022
Courtney Richiuts(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 25-09-2022 Hamilton is absolutely gorgeous! Our guests couldn’t get over the detail throughout this venue. It is simply perfection! My husband and I knew the second we first toured it, that it was the venue for us. Reviewed on 29-09-2022
Holly Hayes(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 19-01-2020 There is not a single negative thing to say about Hamilton Hall. The venue itself is beautiful - the perfect amount of historic charm with enough different rooms and areas for guests to flow in and out of the space with ease. The ballroom barely needs decoration because it's so naturally beautiful with the hardwood floors, big windows, chandelier, mirrors, and fireplaces. On top of the beautiful hall, the wedding coordinator Robin is a dream! She is attentive, extremely organized, answers every email, text, and call, and didn't miss a single detail of our big day. She also just happens to be one of the nicest and most personable people we worked with during our wedding planning. She worked through many seating charts and table arrangements and sent us multiple drafts of the floor plan until it was perfect and maximized the dance floor space for us. We dropped off boxes of decor and details labelled with sticky notes a few days before the wedding, which Robin said her and her team could set up for us, and we were absolutely shocked with how amazing everything turned out- it looked even better than we could have ever imagined! We cannot say enough wonderful things about Hamilton Hall and Robin and we genuinely had the most amazing experience from start to finish and could not have pictured a more perfect wedding day. Samantha Buffington(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 01-12-2018 We had such a great experience at Hamilton Hall, but more specifically with the coordinator, Robin Perry. She is beyond prepared for any situation you throw at her! We got engaged in February 2018 and knew we wanted to get married in the same year and she provided pros and cons for every date left available. We settled with December and the only down fall was there may be snow but there wasn't! The mirrors, chandeliers, large windows bring so much characters we really didn't need to go overboard with decorating. Plus, Robin gave great tips on where to save on flowers and alcohol! The only challenge were the stairs - we had a few guests who were not able to attend because they weren't able to get to the second floor where the ceremony and reception were held in the ballroom. Alexis Kreplick(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-09-2018 This is absolutely the perfect wedding venue! My husband and I fell in love with the architecture in the building and the beautiful ballroom on the second floor. We had our ceremony and reception in the ballroom (the mirrors, floor and huge windows are gorgeous). The park across the street was also great for wedding photos. Chestnut street is one of the prettiest streets in Salem and an awesome backdrop for a wedding. Finally, our wedding day would not have been possible without Robin. She was fantastic to work with and really kept the day running smoothly. She is so organized and kept in close contact with me and my husband, despite us planning our wedding from another state. Robin always had helpful tips and gave great suggestions for catering, cake and beverage services. Robin, we are incredibly thankful for your help throughout the wedding process. So happy to have had our wedding at this wonderful location! Reviewed on 13-09-2018
Douglas Cushing(groom)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 14-10-2017 My partner and I has our ceremony at Hamilton Hall, and she and I were extremely happy with the choice. The space is beautiful and offers some great rooms for photos, and Robin was just amazing to work with while planning. On the day of the reception (a Saturday in October) we had our last shuttle running late in traffic with a reader and close family member on board, and while I was panicking, Robin was gracious and reassuring! Hamilton Hall helped make ours a special and memorable day! Reviewed on 20-10-2017
Elizabeth Fieg(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 30-09-2017 We COULD NOT be any happier with Hamilton Hall as our wedding venue! My fiance and I were married at Hamilton Hall on 9/30/17 and it was the absolute perfect venue for us. We wanted something classic but also nontraditional (we didn't want to go the hotel or country club route), and Hamilton Hall definitely fit the bill. Our guests all loved HH, and the out-of-town guests were all really excited for a very New England experience by visiting Salem, MA. The HH space is beautiful and has so much history, it's a great fit for someone looking for a unique venue. It's also nice because you can choose from a list of caterers, and the alcohol is BYOB, so you save a fortune by purchasing alcohol through a retailer. However, despite all the great things about Hamilton Hall itself, I will say that the main reason why you should book HH for your wedding is because you will get to work with Robin Perry, the best venue coordinator ever!! We truly cannot thank Robin enough for her amazing work- she is the sweetest person ever, and it was a joy to work with her. She is so responsive, so helpful, and really made the planning process (which can be stressful and overwhelming at times) easy and fun. She takes care of so many details for you, you don't have to worry about a thing. Robin has MANY years of experience doing weddings, which makes her the best in the business. I cannot say enough good things about Hamilton Hall and Robin Perry. Trust me, the venue fee (which is comparable to other venues we looked at) is well worth it- you are getting a deal by working with Robin, because she helps coordinate everything, including details you wouldn't even think of! She worked with our caterer, florist, cake baker, DJ, etc. to make everything happen seamlessly on our big day. Do not hesitate to book Hamilton Hall as your venue, it will be the best decision you make for your wedding. We love Robin and are so thankful to her for making our wedding perfect! Sarah Holcomb(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 09-06-2017 I don't think I could say enough good things about Hamilton Hall. Everything about the hall is meticulously maintained and stunning. When you book Hamilton Hall for your wedding you get to use the whole building and the park across the street for your ceremony which gives you so many options and flexibility in terms of guest count and the flow of the evening. The very best part with Hamilton Hall is Robin. Robin has been in the wedding industry for years and she knows exactly what it takes to put together an amazing day. She is a wonderful source of information each step along the way and day of she is simply amazing. I can not be more thankful for such a beautiful venue and for help from such a talented professional. Reviewed on 23-06-2017
Molly Thibodeau(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 03-06-2017 What a beautiful and underrated venue! The ballroom contains beautiful mirrors, windows, and chandeliers, which allows the room to be dressed up as much or as little as you would like. The original details are simply lovely. This truly is the most Salem venue you could possibly book. The coordinator Robin was on top of everything and really helped me feel organized and prepared in the months leading up to our event. Katy Galow(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-09-2016 We fell in love the moment we walked in. It was the first place we looked at for our wedding venue, and we just knew. We did look at other venues in Salem, Ma, but nothing compared. The wedding coordinator Robin Perry was the biggest reason we chose the venue. Not only is she an absolute professional and most detailed person I've met, she is so kind and caring. My husband and I felt right at home from the moment we walked in. All of our guests had nothing but the best things to say about Robin. In fact, most wanted to get pictures with her and our local guests are trying to come up with events so we can have another party at Hamilton Hall. The venue is absolute gorgeous. The history and detail that the building has allows for no decorations needed unless you want to add. We brought very little because the tall mirrors, giant chandelier, and sconces are all so ornate already. The three stories of the building allow for so much space for you and all of your guests. Everyone keeps raving to us on how our wedding was so wonderful and the best wedding they have ever attended and we credit a lot of that to Hamilton Hall and Robin. We cannot ever thank Robin enough for what she did for us and our guests. Katy and Chad Reviewed on 10-10-2016

Our guests have given us tons of compliments on our venue and loved that everything was held in one location. MELANIE PARSONS(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 22-09-2012 Outside the Venue: 5 Stars\rWhy? If you are looking for a venue that provides personality and historical attributes all enclosed within a New England colonial style building, then this IS the venue for you. The building is beautiful and just across the street sits a quaint and cozy park (which is PERFECT for pictures). The venue sits on Chestnut Street alongside residential “mansions” – your venue will blend it with all the rest but let me preface now, as you will read later, you will be transformed into a totally different world when you step inside….\r\rParking: 5 Stars\rWhy? Don’t fret brides-to-be – while street parking is residential every day of the week – Hamilton Hall is contracted with all residential homes on the street to provide day of event parking. If you prefer your guests to drive, they will all have a space to park without any issues. Unfortunately, there is no “lot” for them to park which should be every more of a reason to provide a shuttle!\r\rInside the Venue: 5 Stars\rWhy? Beyond words about the inside of this venue so let me try to find the perfect words to explain my thoughts here… when you step in the front doors of the building (just above you hangs an American flag – how patriotic?!), you walk through a small hallway into a historic and vintage part of the building with hardwood floors, area rugs, and benches aligning the walls. It’s a large space to host cocktail hour and just beyond the large room (they refer to it as the Pickering room) is a perfect space to place a bar. I did this at my wedding and the flow of traffic in and out of the room for approx. 115 guests was good. The bar room was really cool because it had an old cast iron stove built into the brick wall… very rustic and full of personality.\rJust upstairs… when you walk upstairs, you are transformed into a totally different environment from the downstairs. Just behind the French doors is a beautifully LARGE ballroom. There are three gold mirrors that align the back wall and certainly are the largest attribute to the entire space. Above, hangs an old gold chandelier that goes along with the three mirrors. On two sides are sitting benches that blend in perfectly with the space… the windows are beautiful as well. In entering the ballroom and turning around, there is a balcony that is perfect for a band or DJ. In fact, I had my DJ up on the balcony to conserve space for our tables down below…. It actually was pretty cool. In addition, I did my bouquet toss from there which added the extra “umph”, excitement and fun to tossing it!\r\rStaff: 5 Stars\rWhy? These women who work here are professionals and do this daily as a job so put your trust and faith in knowing they KNOW what they are doing. I was in direct contact with Heidi the entire way through – she was the one and only person I spoke to each time we met. She was kind, patient, supportive, and full of ideas on how to make all the things I wanted to bring to my day come together. She was very professional, experienced, and I appreciated our interactions greatly. She always remembered the ideas we spoke about from previous conversations which meant a lot to me in my planning process. \r\rI loved my experience overall with Hamilton Hall and you will too if you consider THE place to hold your wedding reception and/or ceremony!\r Reviewed on 22-10-2012
