Located in Providence Forge, VA, Historic Jasmine provides an unforgettable backdrop for weddings and other special occasions. This property has over 40 acres of wooded and open field landscapes for couples to use throughout their celebrations. With a plethora of indoor and outdoor space, this venue can host the wedding you and your loved one have always dreamed of.
You and your partner can exchange vows at the Chapel in the Woods. This one-of-a-kind ceremony site is surrounded by tall trees and everlasting woodland. This private setting allows you and your partner to exchange vows peacefully in front of loved ones with nature as your witness. Alternatively, you can happily wed at the eight-pillar Garden Pergola. Complete with a celebration bell tower, this pergola is set amongst spectacular views of the botanical gardens and green pasture. Once you’ve tied the knot, you and your guests can raise a toast or two at the Magnolia Terrace for memorable cocktail hours. Featuring beautiful chandeliers and perimeter lighting, this terrace allows you to mingle with loved ones and watch as the sun sets over the horizon. The Magnolia Terrace is also ideal for post-ceremony photo opportunities that will be cherished for many years to come. A night of laughter and dancing can follow under the shelter of a large marquee on the site’s lawns. Great for everlasting receptions, this marquee has ample space for seated guests, a dance floor, and live entertainment. Additional facilities include several overnight accommodations in the venue’s Manor House. These rooms are great for newlywed couples and a few of their guests. Decorated using 19th-century antics, these cozy rooms have everything you need for a relaxing stay and a great night’s sleep.
Historic Jasmine offers a variety of wedding packages based upon the month and day of the week that you wish to wed. At a minimum, all options include your choice of event spaces, tables, chairs, lighting fixtures, custom bar areas, and much more. For further convenience, you may also work with outside vendors to bring your dream wedding to life.
My husband and I had such a blissful wedding at Historic Jasmine. This really is an all inclusive venue!! It is so unique and beautiful. There are tons of different photo opportunities as well as ceremony locations. If you’re a Harry Potter fan, the permanent reception tent makes you feel like you’re at Bill and Fleur’s wedding. The communication with the staff was amazing, and responses were quick to all of our questions. Overall, we couldn’t be happier that we chose Hisroric Jasmine. Reviewed on 13-12-2023

We chose The Historic Jasmine for it's beauty and scenery and the million different areas that we knew would create amazing photos. However, we were given so much more. Don and Ashton were the most amazing and gracious hosts! Prior to the wedding weekend, they responded to all my (sometimes silly) questions within 24 hours. And THEN! Wedding weekend came around and it got EVEN BETTER!!! We reached out to Don throughout the weekend asking for ladders, zip ties, trash bags and assistance with other items around the venue and not only were we listened to and things were done but they were done with a graciousness that you don't see often and a big OLD SMILE also. If I could have just moved in there I would have. If you don't book with this amazing group, you are crazy! Thank you to Don and Ashton for doing everything for our special day. Appreciate you so much! Reviewed on 03-11-2023

Aside from this being the most beautiful venue ever... the experience of working with Don and Ashton was amazing. They took so much stress off of our day, any question or request we had was taken care of promptly and they seemed happy to do it! The open and quick communication was something that kept planning running smooth and so much less stressful. They also have a vendor list which allowed us to see options that are trust worthy and helped us with searching since we weren't familiar to that area. I am still getting compliments on our venue...the property is filled with natural back drops and endless photo ops, we ran out of time trying to get photos with all the amazing spots. Then at night, it is lit up with beautiful draping lights under the reception tent. There is also the opportunity to customize your experience just how you like it, this was great because it allows you to not have the same exact wedding as others who have been married here. The chapel has its own natural beauty but being able to add your own florals and personal touches was something that made a unique experience. We toured tons of venues but between the beauty of this one and the amazing people who own it, this was a no brainer. We could not have had a more perfect day at the Historic Jasmine. The owners were always responsive to communication, even last-minute emails when it looked like it was going to rain. My wife and her bridesmaids stayed at the Plantation the night before the ceremony, and it was incredibly convenient for them to get ready in the same place they had stayed the night before. Jasmine Plantation had everything our vendors wanted – refrigerator and kitchen space for our caterer, excellent lighting and locations for our photographer, and plenty of parking for our guests. We also used a shuttle service to transport guests from the ceremony to the reception, and Jasmine was more than happy to accommodate two 29-passenger vans. The majority of our guests spent the evening outdoors on the terrace or under the tent; but having an indoor, air-conditioned area in addition to the outdoor space was absolutely crucial for our June wedding. The tent was beautiful, and there was more than enough space to accommodate our guest count (approximately 100). The venue also had sufficient electrical power and outlets to accommodate a live band, and the brick floor was sufficiently raised off the ground to ensure that a summer rain shower would not inundate the dance floor. My husband and I wanted a venue that was low key and down to earth and fit in our budget and the Jasmine Plantation met all our needs. The owners are fantastic and Kayla the Event Planner was fantastic! The hospitality we received was great. We especially liked the plantation because they have a secondary location onsite in case of bad weather for our ceremony. LOVE LOVE LOVE!! Reviewed on 14-11-2014

bananasue (parent)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 09-11-2013 Jasmine was the perfect place for an outdoor fall wedding. It has multiple sites for the ceremony, reception, pictures, and rehearsal dinner. With the bridal party staying there for the wedding, it was perfect for getting ready the day of the wedding. Don and Eileen are wonderful hosts. For the whole weekend, we were able to focus on family and friends. After looking at multiple places in the NoVa area, it was far and away the most affordable and friendly. Thanks, Don and Eileen, for making my daughter's wedding weekend perfect! The weather was perfect, the venue for the whole weekend was perfect as was the yummy breakfast on Sunday morning for the wedding party. The innkeepers were behind the scene workers, but were always available for whatever help was needed. There have been so many positive comments received by mail, phone, Facebook and email. Starting a wedding venue was a way to celebrate the most important things in life - love and family. The venue began when our family moved south from Pennsylvania and purchased Historic Jasmine in 2005. Don's nearly 40 years of experience in historical renovations, building custom homes, and gardening melded perfectly with Eileen's eye for vintage decorations and gorgeous antiques - plus the venue gave us the opportunity to be near our twin sons who were attending the College of William and Mary! We are grateful that we've been able to run this business as a family since then!
