Our Historic Marysville General Store is in the quaint historic gold mining town of Marysville. Our 1900-era stone building is restored with original and replica fixtures and includes 2 spacious rooms connected with an arched doorway; the ceilings are 14' (feels like 20'!). A beautiful back bar into the historic saloon side is a perfect for your cake and gifts and dancing! Our venue can seat ~120 people inside and our garden area and boardwalk can be used to support additional guests. We can host up to 300 with outside areas and use of shuttle buses. Our north garden has a beautiful rock arch with a 12'x30' patio area. Our lawn areas for your beautiful ceremony location options include those with lilacs, a willow tree, rock arch, use of the wood arbor, and just unique 'ghost town' buildings. You can feel history around you in the beautiful mountain community.
Use a caterer of your choice, hire a food truck, or make this a family potluck! You have so many options available to you.
Our packages come with the option of using our two homes. The Willow (Tree) House has a very large lawn, beautiful views, and might get a deer, squirrel or other visitor! It has 3 bedrooms with queen beds, 2 bunk beds, full size kitchen, with dining room, laundry room, spacious family areas, 2 full sized baths, wrap-around deck, and is off the IT grid (though you can enjoy the library of dvds on the tvs). The Miners House is in a secluded area with a more private yard, private deck to watch the day go by, 3 bedrooms (2 with queen beds and one with 2 singles), 2 bathrooms, cozy living / kitchen / dining areas, cable TV, and laundry room.
We have indoor and outdoor areas and you can use our venue for rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, through to gift opening and final farewells. Choose your caterer , DJ/band, and bar services of choice. We are open year-round and are on a paved county road. Surrounding gardens offer extended outdoor adventures for games, event areas, and general enjoyment. The surrounding area is BLM (public land) with plenty of opportunity for outdoor adventures such as hiking, biking, snow machining, picking huckleberries, gold hunting, etc. . Our venue provides with you a comfortable setting; whether you have a vintage or modern theme. Call today to schedule a walk-through of our 'animal friendly' venue.

Sonya and Scott were so easy to work with and even let us do a photo shoot there after we secretly eloped (Covid couple). We had a couple of issues that no one could have foreseen, and she dealt with them professionally, and personally. The venue was comfortable. We immediately felt like we could make ourselves at home and really have a great time. Everything was clean and tidy too. And beautiful. We first found the town of Marysville while on a ghost town drive a few years before, when it came time to pick a venue, we knew it had to be there. The weather and scenery was perfect, historic and just beautiful. đ they've done a wonderful job bringing a tired old building back to life. Reviewed on 07-10-2021

I couldn't have found a more perfect place to have my daughters wedding. The garden area setting for the ceremony was beautiful and the inside of the building is restored beautifully. The new backbar that has been added is a beautiful addition to this venue. The venue having the two separate rooms work great with one side as bar and dance area and the other side to have tables for eating and guests who want to just sit and visit. The Historic General Store & Cotton Club is beautifully restored to highlight the rich history of Marysville. The ceremony took place in the garden next to the building under the wood arbor with the rock arch in the background. The bride was able to block off the street in front of the venue for an outdoor reception (due to the pandemic) and street dance. Sonya was available to assist in any need we had and kept the venue extra safe with constant cleaning and disinfecting. I personally loved the bonus yard games that the venue had available. Lisa Hartman(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 22-08-2020 Where do I begin with this review. There are so many things I want to say and the are ALL AMAZING things, I am not very good with words though. Sonya was fantastic to work with during this crazy time of the virus. She put my worries at ease and helped me draft a plan for all the alternative situations that could occur. She answered all of my emails and was very patient with me with ALL of my questions and worries. The biggest and best thing I have to say is my dog was able to be a part of the day! Most venues did not allow this at all. Fast forward to the rehearsal dinner and the wedding day! It was chaotic and fun and she was there to assist. Due to the virus she had to be here until the numbers went down under 50 people. She was so wonderful in making sure things were sanitized and we had everything we needed. My wedding day went by SOOO fast, but it was such an amazing space both inside and out I was so thankful for the space. Since we had to have everything outside, it all worked out and there was enough space for everything. We closed off the street in front (Paul was amazing too) and we were able to have our reception there!! Had a mini street dance as well, soooo much fun!Overall, her professionalize and kindness was a joy and always put my mind at ease when planning and executing the wedding. Also, her husband Scott was amazing with helping move the alter and having the BEAUTIFUL rock wall completed by the time my wedding day arrived. Hands down the best couple to work with. I can't say enough on how beautiful and what a wonderful job they did to preserve/restore history in Marysville MT. I highly recommend this spot!!Again, I can't say enough about this place and Sonya. Gwynne McConkey(parent)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 01-01-1970 The Marysville General Store is a lovely and special venue in a really unique location! This two room venue has been lovingly & immaculately restored down to the stone walls, tin ceilings and floors. The bathrooms are updated yet perfectly in keeping with the old-time feel. Marysville is a historic little \"ghost town\" and the locals could not have been more gracious. The venue owner, Sonia, was a delight to work with - -and we were quite a unique case!! I was the MOTB for a large wedding of 270. Marysville was selected because it also happens to contain our groom's family treasure - a small 1860's wooden church. Neither the church nor the venue fit our large crowd, so we expanded by bringing in a large tent - and placing it immediately in front of the Store. We let the party flow through the entire space. Our family and guests were based in Helena, so there were a lot of logistics. Everyone was really helpful and it was a fabulous event!! The pictures in the \"ghost town\" were absolutely stunning. ...and included the bride on a white horse. Reviewed on 01-08-2018
