The Hoffman Ranch by WedgeWood Weddings is where book for a perfect wedding. The staff works together to make your day special. Me and my husband live 4 hours away from the venue and weâre worried about finding a place and vendors. It was an answered prayer when we learned about the packages WedgeWood offers. They covered everything. The employees, Brittany and Sarah were amazing. They were right by our side. They guided us through the planning process. They also directed and lead the way the day off. Allowing us to truly be present and enjoy the moment.

The Hoffman Ranch by WedgeWood Weddings is where book for a perfect wedding. The staff works together to make your day special. My son got married here yesterday 5/19/23. It was spectacular! The venue, the staff, the food, the service was top notch . Britney was our coordinator and she was amazing from our first visit to tour the venue and all our subsequent isits . Nothing was too much trouble and she coordinated the day perfectly and was so pleasant and smiled continuously even though Iâm sure she was under tremendous pressure . Her lovely sister Sara was our evening coordinator and was just as pleasant helpful and kind to everyone . Our bartender Tyler was amazing as well and kept the drinks flowing and was just lovely . I canât recommend Hoffman Ranch highly enough , it was perfect from beginning to end . Thank you all so much for all your hard work in making my son and daughter in laws dream wedding come true . To begin, the staff at Hofmann are a delight. From the start they are warm and helpful in the planning process to try to make sure you get what you want for your wedding day. I was looking for a venue that did it all and this place had it. They helped with keeping in contact with different vendors and helping you stay on track with planning. We even had a weird request to have a mechanical bull during our reception and they told us we can and we did. We were able to provide a great experience to our guests and they helped us get there. From day one of planning to the day of the wedding, the staff at Hofmann made sure that the process was stress free as possible.

I just happened to stumble on Hofmann ranch, and I am so glad I did. This venue blew me away; completely exceeded my expectations. My wedding was perfect, and seamless, they really have this wedding stuff down. The vendors they use are amazing and we had no issues. We had the ceremony at the outside gate, which was amazing, the beauty of this place I cannot describe. There was very little I had to do, they took care of 99% of the details, they worked with me every step of the way and there were no surprises. Amazing staff that I cannot say enough good things about. So glad we found this amazing place! What we got for the money we paid, far exceeded anything we could've hoped for. I absolutely recommend Hofmann Ranch.

We chose Hofmann Ranch with the hopes of having a stress-free wedding. I can truthfully say this goal was accomplished! I would recommend using Hofmann Ranch as they have a phenomenal team, incredible vendors, and above all else they have a beautiful venue.They were extremely helpful and attentive throughout the entire wedding planning process. They provided so much insight and advice. The day we toured the venue we fell in love with the team and the location. Once our contract was signed we were provided with a binder full of worksheets and advice for planning our big day. Every detail was planned and prepared for. By the time the wedding day arrived, I was entirely stress-free knowing they had everything under control. They offer packages to meet everyone's needs. They made every vision for my wedding day come true! It could not have been anymore perfect.

We chose this venue for the all inclusive aspect. Thereâs multiple places on the site to get married. We had our ceremony on the brick patio, buffet style dinner inside, and dancing/reception under the pavilion. They do their best to work with your budget while spending the âminimumâ for that certain day. For 79 guests we spent right at $16k. That included beer and wine( two bottles of wine at each table for your guests at dinner). They made sure not to run out of our beer of choice! The coordinators and captains were very professional and made the entire process, especially the day of run so smoothly. The hors dâoeuvres and dinner were amazing and all of our guests complimented the food. They decorate and clean up, a few things were left behind but that will happen on a busy night. DJ, invitations, floral, cake and officiant were also included in the package we chose.I would 100% recommend Hofmann ranch for the coordinators!! They do all the work for you with their preferred vendors, all you do is give them your vision and they make it a reality.The only downfall is you only get 2 hours before ceremony time to be in the hen house (bridal suite).So we had to get ready at a nearby hotel, it just felt very rushed to get in the dress and take the pictures that you wanted before you walk down the isle. And thereâs no place for the groom and groomsmen to get ready. Still Hofmann Ranch was a 5 star experience for us and our guests!

My husband got activated for the military 5 times (even days before the wedding) and they always kept me calm and were very understanding! Every time we had an issue, they solved it right away! I went to 2 weddings during the same year and both had coordinators and both were extremely disorganized! So everyone always said âI hope your wedding turns out better than this because it was all over the place.â And honestly, Hofmann ranch coordinators went above and beyond what I even expected! The day before , I panicked that things wouldnât get done right but they ensured me everything would be taken care of and of course, it was perfect. The signs were placed in the right place, the tables looked fantastic, everything was right on schedule. Just sooo perfect. Both of our families were extremely impressed with how everything was flowing so smoothly. Dont second think this venue, itâs worth the price!!!! I promise, you will get your moneyâs worth!!!! My wedding was a dream come true because of the recommended vendors,the venue and their teamâ€ïž Thank YALL again !

When the wedding day come omg Cassandra was amazing she told me that I did not need to do anything just sit there and enjoy the moment. I have only wonderful things to say about Wedgewood Weddings & Hofmann Ranch. I was supposed to get married in California, but due to Covid, that was not possible. We were lucky enough where Wedgewood allowed us to move our wedding to a different location. A location which was more our style than our previous location. Planning a wedding during a pandemic is not easy, especially not when it is in another state. However, they made it easy, effortless and fun! On the wedding day, Teigan & Carolyn were so wonderful. They set up everything just as we had imagined. They were so attentive to our needs, and what the guests needed as well. I am beyond grateful for all of the hard work that they put in to make our wedding happen. It was beautiful and honestly better than we could have dreamed of. We chose the elite package, which included everything AND the pricing was very reasonable. Our wedding package included a Minister, DJ, Bartender, Caterer, Dessert, Florist, and probably a few others that I am missing. But every single vendor was AMAZING, Wedgewood did an amazing job selecting every one of these because they were all so great to work with- very professional and enthusiastic. Our Elite package really took all of the stress off of us and that was one of the main things we loved! We know a lot of people were not as lucky when moving around their wedding, but they made it so easy and were so empathetic and caring. If you are worried about a pandemic impacting your special day, I would recommend Wedgewood at Hofmann Ranch because they are beyond willing to make your day perfect!

This venue was amazing! We booked them before Covid and their ability to adapt for our wedding helped relieve the added stress Covid put on. They take care of the set up on the day of the wedding, they make sure everything runs on time, they make sure that not just my husband and I are comfortable and having fun, but that our guests also are. The price is a little more expensive but honestly everything you get for the cost is worth it to me! I didnât have to worry about setting up for the ceremony or reception, they did all of that, I just provided the decor I wanted used and they placed it all. The food was amazing! We had the chicken Marsala and turkey and it was a huge hit! The caterer was through the venue so that was another stress taken off my shoulders. They also have a DJ they use so you know heâll be good which he was! The venue itself was absolutely gorgeous, I was in love the second I stepped foot on the grounds for the tour and I had a lot of guests telling me how much they loved our venue. They helped make our wedding day so much less stressful! I would 100% book here again!

We are experiencing a global pandemic, and all I request was to push my wedding back a few months for the safety and of my loved ones as well as myself and they refused. But they are willing to move my wedding forward? Iâm hope this company does not ruin and steal anyone elseâs dream wedding like they did mine!!

I wish I could give the Hofmann Ranch 10 stars, the whole experience from start to finish was perfect. If youâre looking for the best venue in the hill country to have your special day, look no further. Teigan Wells, the ranch coordinator, made the entire process seamless. She is sweet and knows youâve never done this before and answers all your calls/texts/emails with all the little questions that pop up. Iâm so happy we chose to have our wedding here, so many of our guests complimented the ranch, it was beautiful! When the day was done, I wished we could do it again because it was so perfect. I have no doubt that my timeline was followed to the T and that was all because of Teigan. :)

Planning a wedding can be difficult,but planning one from another state is even more difficult. From my first click onto the site I was in love! I immediately sent the website to my bridal party and my now husband. Tiegan was extremely flexible with working with us to make sure we felt good, since we booked the venue without actually seeing it in person. I was even able to send my Mother-in-law to scope things out for me which made me feel even better about booking them. Thank goodness for FaceTime.lol The pictures and videos on the site are what first made me fall in love, but when I first set foot onto the gravel at the venue I was even more excited to have our big day there. Everything from the start felt right, and I had no doubt about having our wedding there. They even supplied a list of vendors which helped me when planning everything out, since it can be kind of overwhelming at times. Mark was also awesome! I am not a drinker so I had no idea about what the bar should serve, but we had a chat before the big day and he helped me feel secure in our decisions for that part of the wedding. Our friends and family loved the bar staff! Having Tiegan, on top of our wedding planner, there to assist in coordinating the wedding to ensure everything flowed smoothly was definitely a weight lifter. Her calm demeanor in crazy moments was an A+ for me. âșïžAll of our friends and family kept saying how they thoroughly enjoyed themselves,and that was one of the best weddings they had been to in a longtime. We love Hofmann Ranch and everything that came with it. My husband and I had talked about getting married at Hofmann Ranch a few months before we even got engaged. We strongly felt that Hofmann Ranch perfectly encompassed the balance between showcasing the Texas Hill country while displaying class and elegance. The venue was everything we couldâve ever asked for & more. We actually toured the venue and booked the same day we got engaged because we loved it so much. The best part about Hofmann Ranch is Teigan! I canât say enough positive things about her to fully explain how helpful and kind she was during our planning process. On the day of our wedding, we were concerned because of unexpected wind and Teigan helped us change some of our initial plans while still keeping our overall theme. I love being able to look back at pictures and say that we truly achieved our dream of having a fully outdoor wedding. We had several out of town and out of state guests who were blown away by the class that Hofmann Ranch had. Many of our guests expected our rustic wedding to be less formal than it was, but Teigan helped us maintain our top priority which was âclass.â It was so nice to be able to get married at a venue that was hassle-free and be able to focus on my groom rather than all of the small and large logistics. Also I might mention that decorations seemed nearly effortless, though the ranch was very large. That is because the ranch is filled with greenery and plants which added to our style. Getting married in May was the best thing we couldâve chosen because all of the ranch was blooming with greenery! I will never regret booking through this venue because was everything we couldâve asked for and more! It was truly worth every penny and I would recommend any couple who loves the Texas Hill country to visit Hofmann and consider booking. It truly feels like a comfortable and family oriented Ranch. From the Hen house to the longhorns to the sunset during ceremony, it was all perfection. Hofmann Ranch truly makes you feel special by allowing you to use the entire area for your day. First, me and my bridesmaids enjoyed getting ready in the amazing hen house with rooms, mirrors, restroom and shower. Everything we needed. Then we had our ceremony in one outdoor area with longhorns on one side of us and a beautiful sunset on the other. Our guests moved over to the patio for cocktail hour, to the indoor barn area for the reception then back out to the gorgeous pavilion for dancing. We had room for outdoor games and some enjoyed sitting by the outdoor fireplace. It was truly amazing to see everyone taking in and enjoying every single part of the venue. One of the venue's managers and our day-of coordinator, Teigan, was a godsend!! She thought of every single detail during the planning process and made sure everything was covered. On the day of the wedding, she kept us on time and made sure everything went as planned. She made the day very easy on us and we will forever be grateful for that!

The staff was very accommodating about the seating arrangement as well. We made a beer-garden type arrangement outside with picnic tables in long rows for our casual wedding reception. The place is beautiful! We fell in love with the Ranch when we attended a wedding there and decided immediately that was going to be the place for our wedding! The place is beautiful! We fell in love with the Ranch when we attended a wedding there and decided immediately that was going to be the place for our wedding! The owners were a part of the entire process from meeting with us initially to showing up during the reception to make compliments, offer further assistance, and see to it that we were satisfied even though they had already provided a wedding planner.

I recently had the pleasure of having my wedding at the Grande Hall at Hofmann Ranch. When my husband and I got engaged I only had to look at one venue and I was sold. It had everything that I envisioned for my special day!! I loved the fact that we could utilize the entire venue during out wedding. We had Heather as our wedding day of coordinator and though there were little hiccups during the night that I found out about after, I didnât see them! She did a great job checking on me making sure that I had everything I needed and was having a great time! I will say that my wedding was absolutely perfect and exactly what I wanted, of course in such a huge way because of my husbands and Iâs parents but it would not have been possible without this gorgeous venue and its staff.

Hofmann Ranch is the epitome of rustic elegance. As soon as my husband and I stepped foot on the property we knew it was the venue for us. We wanted everything to be outdoors and Hofmann Ranch allows for that possibility (assuming weather cooperates as always). But just in case the weather does not cooperate- there are enough options at this venue to have back up plans for the original back up plan! Everyone we worked with here were so nice and so helpful. It was the perfect night.

We had our entire belongings stored in the \"hen house\" and then we're told they all had to be out of the building after the ceremony in 100 degree weather. Venue is great for a small, intimate wedding but hire your owne coordinator to be sure things run smoothly and stuff is taken care of.

At the start of my wedding planning I had my heart set on a ranch outdoor wedding. When I discovered the Hofmann ranch online I thought it was too good to be true. I actually live out of the country, so my parents first went to look at the ranch and face timed me while they were there. Mrs. Hofmann gave the tour to my parents and I (on face time). They made everything so clear, showed me everything and answered all of my questions. Let's just say that the pictures online don't do the place justice. Even through face time I was able to see the beauty of the Hofmann Ranch. I knew it was the perfect place and booked right away over the phone.The venue both outside and inside are absolutely beautiful. The grounds outside are so green and well kept. So many hidden gems around every corner and you truly have the outdoor rustic feel. It has been 2 weeks now since we got married and my guests are still raving about how beautiful everything was. Not only is the venue beautiful. The Hofmann's were so great to work with. They are kind and genuine people and they are truly there to help you and make your wedding day amazing. I had most contact through email and Cindy was always there to answer all of my questions! If you are looking for a outdoor and ranch type of wedding definitely go check out the Hofmann Ranch. You won't regret it!

They kept everything in order in the months leading up to the wedding, so no details were missed. Whether you are looking for an outdoor or indoor venue, they have you covered. I used the outdoor covered pavilion for our ceremony, which had an outdoor feel but shelter from rain. The grande hall is beautiful as is so not much decoration is needed. I was never the girl who grew up dreaming of her wedding day, but the day I toured the Hofmann Ranch I fell in love (again)! As I walked around I could finally envision where I would stand in my dress next to the absolutely breathtaking foliage and flowers, imagine my bridal party cascading down the grande hall staircase, and saying \"I do\" under the archway as the sunset behind us. The cost included a site for the ceremony and cocktail hour, then inside the grande hall for dinner, and back outside for an outdoor reception so we got three separate spaces in one AND a day of coordinator- such a value! The grounds were so beautiful that I had no need for chair covers, or extra decor other than my centerpieces. \rThe staff was fabulous! Mrs. Charlotte, Cindy, and Heather were great with communication and vendor tips, they answered every question I had, and even helped me with ideas on how to make things work when needed. The Grande Hall at Hofmann Ranch was the perfect place to celebrate our special day! The Hofmanns were incredibly flexible and willing to work with us. I was thankful for the upfront and professional way they handled business. All expectations and requirements were outlined very clearly. It made working with the ranch easy. The venue is very well kept and absolutely beautiful. It has the perfect amount of country charm yet, has a sense of elegance and beauty. The variety of rental options allowed us to plan the perfect ceremony/reception combination. The Antique Gates were perfect for our beautiful outdoor ceremony. We utilized the Pavilion for appetizer hour and then moved inside the Grande Hall for reception. This allowed us to accommodate for crazy Texas weather, yet, allowed us to do everything that we had imagined. Transitioning was seamless and easy. I wouldn't have wanted to have our wedding at any other venue. I am so thankful this is where we celebrated the beginning of our marriage!

Rain or shine, Texas heat or winter sleet this venue will go above and beyond to make your day a success! My husband & I chose The Grande Hall at Hofmann Ranch for our January 2015 wedding and we have no regrets. The Grande Hall is beautiful with it's polished wood feel that is unique enough but also neutral enough for any event theme from rustic to modern elegance. It has a beautiful two story balcony, a hardwood dance floor, a couple of built in bars, rustic accent pieces, wooden columns, a double staircase and metal chandeliers. The staff was exceptionally attentive, especially Cindy and Kendra. They made themselves readily available to myself and my family anytime we wanted another walk-through to plan the layout, had questions about the reception timeline, etc. They handled all the details of my vendor arrivals, decor set up times, table layouts, linens, basically everything the week of my event. All I needed to do was cross my fingers for good weather and show up! Kendra even kept our reception on time when the sleet slowed us down and forced us inside. She handled the changes of inclement weather smoothly with a Plan A & B and it all came together so beautifully no one knew we had originally planned something different. She ensured my husband & I had a chance to eat, got family photos taken, provided me with guidance when to cut the cake, do our first dances, and was always nearby to get get me anything I needed. She was very sweet, calm, professional and attentive. Overall our experience at Hofmann was flawless. I would recommend them to anyone for any event that deserves impeccable attention to detail in a unique environment!

My husband & I chose The Grande Hall at Hofmann Ranch for our January 2015 wedding and we have no regrets. When looking for a wedding venue, we wanted a place with a Texas feel AND a great outdoor ceremony space. Although there were other venues that were similar in style to Hofmann Ranch, none of them had outdoor covered spaces. This was important to us since we didn't want to get rained on or have the sun beating down on our guests, and we didn't want to be forced inside for the ceremony either.\r\rAll our guests loved the setting and we got so many compliments on our beautiful wedding venue. There are a ton of spots for great pictures, and our guests took advantage of those too.\r\rThe only things I would caution other brides about is the time. You have access to the venue, including the hen house where the bridal party can get ready, 3 hours before the ceremony start. With two people doing hair and one doing makeup, that was barely enough time for me, my mom and 2 bridesmaids to get ready, and my bridesmaids did their own makeup. Someone with a larger party would need more hair/makeup people since they won't give you more time. The other thing that could be an issue is getting everything out of the hen house an hour after the ceremony's done. That wasn't an issue for me since I had such a small bridal party, but if you have a larger one or people who aren't very helpful, it might be more stressful.\r\rIn the end, we had a wonderful time on our wedding day and I am glad we settled on Hofmann Ranch!!

I got married on June 7, 2014 and used this venue for all of my wedding needs: getting ready, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. This venue is absolutely beautiful and the service goes above and beyond to make your dream wedding come true. This venue is wedding ready without a lot of decoration needed but is to die for adding a few flowers or whatever to the tables. With the Hofmann Family and using Gary as my caterer, you don't even need a coordinator. They take care of everything and both were super amazing to work with. Gary took care of all of my decorating needs and I would recommend using him also! I wasn't even stressing over how things were going to look or turn out because the venue was perfect already, and this is coming from a bride who planned her wedding that was about 300 miles away! It's well worth the cost. This venue is only 30 minutes away from downtown San Antonio and is just far enough away that you don't feel like your in the city anymore but it's just a short trip away. My guest were so blown away when they saw the venue and they all absolutely loved it! I would HIGHLY recommend this venue! Definitely worth the trip to at least go see and consider.

They were always so helpful and all the vendors they recommend are amazing. The night was truly perfect and not a thing went wrong. I was so blessed to get married here on November 9, 2013. Everything was so beautiful and I got marry the man of my dreams. That night we accidentally left several items including our card box. They held everything for us in a safe until we were able to pick it up almost 2 weeks later. Charlotte and her husband are such sweet people. This venue is beautiful and the owners are beautiful people which made it even better!!

It leaves room for people to take a break from dancing and sit and chat if they would like.The screened in patio was the perfect place for our photo booth and the outdoor patio and outdoor fireplace was the perfect place for a breath of fresh air while looking at the stars in the open sky out in the hill country. The one thing we said when we began planning was we didn't want something like a hotel because you sometimes feel trapped. If you want to take a break or a change in scenery, there isn't really anywhere to go. The Hofmann Ranch was the perfect setting and everything we dreamed of for our wedding!

When comparing prices of different site this venue gave a lot for the price. I used Gary for the catering from Castroville Cafe and he was absolutely amazing and reasonably priced! He took care of everything from food to running the day to the flower arrangement and table arrangements. My day was so care free and I would just enjoy my wedding day without having to stress. I would absolutely recommended them to anyone.\r\rI had approximately 140 people. We had the ceremony under the pavilion, dinner in the hall (downstairs) and reception outside under the pavilion. Gary did the switch flawlessly and it was perfect! I got so many compliments from friends and family on how beautiful everything was.\r\rAgain this is an absolutely gorgeous venue for a great price. If you do choose this venue I highly recommend using Gary because he really knows how to make the place perfect!!

The caterer Gary knew just how to make a wedding perfect and customized it to what we wanted. The owners Charlotte and Hans were also ready to help with anything we needed. It was totally worth the money spent!

Nothing Short of Amazing!!! We recently got married at the Hofmann Ranch and could not have imagined it any other way!\r\rFirst of all, the whole planning process with them was easy and stress free. Charlotte was a joy to work with and her daughter Cindy helped out at the end and made sure the day of that everything was running smoothly. They let us visit the ranch several times to take pictures and ask questions. We received so many compliments on how beautiful the ranch was and how much our guests loved just being there and how comfortable they felt. \r\rEverything is set up just perfect. My 7 girls+ some and I prepped in the Hen House in the back of the venue, which was cozy and rustic with plenty of room. We took our decorations the night before to them at rehearsal, that we had purchased and prepared. \r\rThey have a Caterer that you have to use if you book with them, which I was weary of at first because I wanted choices, but we could not have had the wedding of our dreams without him. Gary, the caterer, is absolutely a GEM! He ran our rehearsal and was in contact with me from day one. He runs a café in Castroville also so he was not always available the minute I called him, but he was swift to get back to me. He was delightful and professional and went ABOVE AND BEYOND! \r\rHe set up all the décor and put his own twist on things, in my style. He was more like my wedding coordinator. It was amazing how he was able to fill things in and even make necessary changes and still completely do what I wanted!! He is creative and has a brilliant sense of style! The food was phenomenal; the service was impeccable; the flow of the venue was perfect; the landscaping was divine! I just cannot stop raving about how happy we are with them and how wonderful and special they made this day for us! I highly recommend them! It may be a bit of a drive, but it is well worth it! \r\rAnother advantage of Gary, my DJ was a no show and had contacted another DJ to fill in, but he did not know anything about what songs to play or what to do. Gary informed me, then listened to me, and then took charge and made it happen. He saved the musical aspect of the wedding and saved me a TON of stress!!\r\rSince we live out of town (about 5 hours South) Gary and Charlotte gave me many recommendations on who to use for certain details and they were very helpful. We dealt with almost everything with them over the phone and they were very clear and understood what we wanted/needed. The Hofmann Ranch is simply perfect to say the least!\r

Charlotte and Hans were wonderful. Despite some unintended glitches (broken water pipe, for example) the wedding and reception were both fabulous! The venue is beautiful, although a little remote (would definitely consider an earlier wedding start, since many of the guests left before we planned to end the reception due to long drive home)

Our wedding was on March 17, 2012!! the venue was the one and only venue in which i looked into for our wedding. It was so beautiful! We used all three parts to their facility: the hall, the patio, and the covered patio area. It was so beautiful the scenery was wonderful with the flowers blooming!!! I am so happy to have found this place. Charlotte & Hans Hofmann are such wonderful and down to earth people. They ensure that you have everything that you need and just watch from the sidelines to ensure that your wedding runs smoothly. The venue is a working ranch, but we still had for our guest who were children to enjoy them selves. I would truly recommend this venue to someone who would like to feel like a princess!!!!

Charlotte and Hans are just as sweet as they can be and accommodating. The caterer Gary from Castroville Cafe is AMAZING. He made the wedding go smoothly and off without a hitch. I can not say enough great things about him and his work. You can definitely relax and trust that everything will be flawless and run smoothly with Gary in charge. This place is amazing. I had an outdoor wedding, the perfect place to host a party for several hundred people in style! The best part of utilizing the Hofmann Ranch is the natural beuty of the venue and the caterer that provides services for the venue. Gary Carter (owner of Castroville Cafe and caterer) and his services are worth every penny, he takes care of everything and everyone. Charolette and Hans Hofmann are professional and considerate business owners. They make sure things run smoothly and elegantly.

I recently had my wedding at the Grande Hall at the Hofmann Ranch. It was a beautiful affair, but buyer beware, although the venue is perfect, the owner, Mrs. Hofmann is a very difficult to work with. Although the venue says they accommodate 600, if you want all of your guests in one place (either the hall, pavilion, or patio), 200 is more appropriate. My wedding had about 200 people in the hall, and it was VERY crowded. I canât imagine if there were 600! This is a great place for the bride who doesnât want to plan or worry about anything, but let Gary and Mrs. Hofmann do everything. However, if you have a special vision for your wedding, it is very difficult to convey and execute with Mrs. Hofmann. She is an older lady who prefers to do weddings EXACTLY like every other wedding she does. If you want to do something âdifferent,â she is not accommodating, and is slightly rude about it. She should realize that each bride does NOT want her wedding like other brides. Each wants to be unique and different in her own way. This is not the case at this venue. My mother and I had to fight with Mrs. Hofmann for every little thing which was extremely stressful. Mrs. Hofmann has a âhenhouseâ for the bridal party to get ready in â however, we were told we had to be out of there an hour AFTER our ceremony started â it was a nightmare! Here I was about to walk down the aisle with my dad, worrying about packing up!! The bride and her party also should have a spot at a venue where they can have a restful moment and relax. I asked Mrs. Hofmann where I was supposed to put my things and she acted like it was no problem for me to put my things in my getaway car â so every time I needed to take a breather, I had to go out to my car! I asked her where to put my makeup bag (every bride needs to reapply lipstick!), and she said to put my purse on the head table â yeah right!! Instead, my MOH had to âhideâ my purse in the kitchen which we had to get out every time I needed to refresh. This was a PAIN. The henhouse (which we PAID for) should have been available to the bride and her party throughout the venue. Although we did have some time for a rehearsal dinner, when my guests showed up 30 minutes early (which is normal), the gate was locked and it was a hassle for them to get Mrs. Hofmann to open it up for them because she was so rude about them being early. Many of my bridal party members tried to stay inside the hall beforehand because it was freezing cold outside. Mrs. Hofmann had another âbrideâ she was consulting with and was extremely rude when my MOH asked if they could stay inside until everyone arrived. When I arrived, Mrs. Hofmann immediately accosted me and told me I HAD to get the rehearsal started immediately, despite the fact that I hadnât seen many of these people in many years. It was very awkward and weird because we were also waiting for my dad to show up. She still insisted we start rehearsing without him! Later, I was told by my vendors that on the day of the wedding, Mrs. Hofmann was very rude and acted as though they were barging in on her venue. This was their job to set up! She was overlooking their shoulders and telling one of my designer friends how dare she take down the hallâs ornaments on her Christmas trees â we were told we could decorate the trees however we wanted! I wish I could write more but I have run out of space. Good luck with Mrs. Hofmann!!

I chose this place because I wanted to have a beautiful outdoor wedding and in case it rained the pravilion right next to it would be a great option. I feel in love with it the moment I saw it!\rOur wedding day was perfect on November 22, 2011 from the weather, ceremony, food and music. Gary Carter, who is the caterer is great to work with and he helped me with arranging all the decorations inside and outside that I needed. His food is just awesome and I love the family style option much better than the buffet style in serving the food. I also opted not to have a wedding coordinator but Gary is so organized that I didn't need one. He helped set up a timeline of events and will keep you on schedule from start of dinner to cake cutting and toast. Our DJ, Brandon from Platinum DJ was also good with keeping a schedule so we had double the help! Loved the hen house where we got dressed. It is so wonderfully furnished and decorated so it was great when they took photos of my dress and the bridal party getting ready. Yes, there is a time limit to get everything out of the hen house after the ceremony but we had no problems at all. \rCharolette was a joy and easy to work with. Charolette and Hans Hofmann really have a great place to host weddings and other events. I had so many compliments from family and friends. They also had a tv screen that we were able to have a slideshow play during the reception. Also you have to provide your own alcohol so we saved $$ going to H.E.B. I highly recommend this place to anyone. In fact I have cousin who may also be having there wedding there next year! We were truly blessed to find such a beautiful place to have our wedding that we will cherish forever!

Well at first the owners, well specifically I mean Charlotte, was very hospitable. I mean she is trying to sell the place isn't she! Well my husband and I came to see the hall with my parents who she was very rude to, but she did however cater more to my opinions and needs. They have very strict rules which I understand is to preserve such a beautiful venue, but the restrictions got a little ridiculous later on. I had asked if I could take my bridal portraits there, and Charlotte just said that when I get a date set to call and schedule a time. Well I am from the area but live out of town and the only day my photographer and I could do it was a Monday. When I called she gave me all sorts of attitude saying that was their (and I must mentioned not advertised) \"day off\". She did however let us schedule that day. Even my photographers mentioned that they don't like working with the ranch specifically because of her. The wedding was hard to cram into a five hour window which was all we had for the $$$ we paid for it. We only had an hour for rehearsal which had to be scheduled at noon on the Friday before because they scheduled a wedding there the night before mine. This was a big inconvenience for my wedding party since half of them are in school and the other half have jobs. The day of the wedding was fine up until the reception. I love that they have a place, the \"hen house\

We had our wedding at the Hofmann Ranch in September, and it was absolutely beautiful. I can't even count how many compliments we have received about what a gorgeous venue we had! Gary (the caterer) is wonderful to work with, and the food was absolutely delicious! Charlotte and Hans, the owners, are very nice. My only advice is to ask lots of questions, because there are many rules that are meant to protect the Hall, which is totally understandable. Most venues have a list of rules or a contract so that you know up front, but we didn't get one so we just found out things along the way. Everything turned out fine, and if I had it to do over again I would definitely still use the Grande Hall! Our wedding turned out beautifully, with a lot of credit due to the team at the Hofmann Ranch!
