Holiday Inn & Suites North Beach, is an oceanfront wedding venue and full-service hotel on the beautiful Boardwalk in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Our Hotel is home to two beautiful ballrooms that are equipped with movable air walls offering more flexibility during socially distant seating requirements. Attached to our largest Ballroom, the skylight Atrium is a beautifully renovated 2,000-square-foot pre-function space. The Atrium's most unique feature is it's entirely glass ceiling allowing both sunlight and stars to shine into your event. Our Couple's find this is the perfect indoor ceremony space, allowing for seating options that accommodate your unique families need's safely. Passing through the Atrium into the First Floor Ballroom your color experience will enhance memories of where the sand meets the sea in warm grays and blues. This space can normally accommodate up to 300 guests. During restricted times we are able to offer two spaces that can accommodate up to 40 guests each or one space for up to 50 guests. The space provides a maximum socially distant seating capacity of 6' per guest at 80 people outside of current restrictions. The Vista Del Mar is another wedding venue available with sweeping floor to ceiling ocean views! This oceanfront ballroom can normally accommodate up to 100 guests and is decorated in neutral tones with granite counter tops and custom built-in cabinetry. During restricted times this space can accommodate a maximum of 50 guests. Love the Isle of Capri? They offer Catering Services for your unique event also! Wedding Date 02-01-2018
We used the Holiday Inn and the Isle of Capri for my son's rehearsal dinner. The service was excellent. The room had windows on 2 sides of the room with beautiful ocean views of the sunset. The food was outstanding. My advice is to check the cables available for the AV equipment. We didn't have the right cables and had to do some scrambling to get the slide show to work.

We cannot say enough good things about the Holiday Inn North Beach, Larrisa and the entire staff. When we originally booked our wedding with the Holiday Inn we were assigned to another Coordinator who left the company about 6 months after we had booked everything. Larrisa then took over and was amazing! She answered all of our questions (and there were many) and walked us through each step, giving helpful tips each step of the way based off her years of experience. When it came time for the rehearsal dinner and day of everything was flawless! All of the decorations were set up exactly how we had envisioned and the team helped coordinate the ceremony which took place out on the beach in front of the hotel. Our reception took place in the Vista Del Mar on the 6th floor and was the perfect amount of room for our roughly 70 guests, bar and photo-booth. The food for the reception was delicious and all of our guests raved at how amazing the food was. Again we cannot say enough positive things about the location and staff who made our day perfection.

Simply amazing. Larissa, our coordinator, went above and beyond to make sure our day was not only simple and relaxing, but she pulled out all of the stops to ensure we had everything we wanted and more. She put us first, she was active and involved ALLL weekend and made us feel like we were family. I have never had anyone make me feel like we weren't just another customer, but family. THANK YOU Larissa for everything you did to make us feel special and important on our wedding day!!! I'd do it all over again just to work with you.

We had a wonderful wedding at the Holiday Inn North Beach. We would not change anything. Larissa was great! She was able to make even our last minute changes and additions happen flawlessly. I had a wedding of 72 people. We fit perfectly on the 6th floor in their Vista Del Mar room. It had floor to ceiling glass windows overlooking the ocean. The ceilings are on the lower side but dont make the room feel small at all. The food was catered by them and was amazing! People are still talking about it. It was also more affordable then you would expect for a june wedding at the beach. I highly recommend them as they were very attentive and made our wedding day run effortlessly. Its also a great price for everything your getting!

We can thank Emily, the event coordinator for our amazing wedding from start to finish!! Not only did she hold our hands throughout the entire planning process but she made our day completely flawless. Even though there were a few flaws we were non the wiser because she handle everything for us. The entire Holiday Inn staff is a smooth running machine. From Emily, the reservation desk, to the kitchen staff, etc. We could not have asked for a better wedding and reception. My husband and I felt like we were treated like royalty. The Catering staff personally served us our meal and continued to inquire into our needs throughout the evening. The food was all amazing. We are still hearing how good everything was. For a winter wedding this venue doesn't offer many photo opportunities. That being said, Emily again helped us as much as possible and made arrangements for us to use other available locations w/in the hotel. If I had to do it all over again I would still choose this venue.

When my husband and I first got engaged we immediately started looking for venues. This was the first one we looked at and couldn't of asked for a better venue! Emily Miller was amazing and the day was flawless. The staff and herself took care of everything and made the day go by sooo smooth. Emily was always in contact with me throughout the whole wedding planning process and emailed me pretty quickly whenever I had a question or concern. The guests loved all the ammenities that the hotel offered and of course being right on the beach! We couldn't of asked for a better wedding day and we appreciate all their hard work and hospitality for everyone. If anyone needs a beach wedding, this is the hotel to do it at! \r

The Holiday Inn North Beach insured that my wedding was beautiful. The food was great and the room was set up just the way I wanted it to be. The Vista Del Mar is the perfect place for those who love the ocean. It's floor to ceiling windows overlooking the beach definitely make it the perfect spot for a reception. The only downfall is that they have a little trouble handling more than one wedding in a weekend and tend to forget certain things that you ordered. They were always very willing to fix the issues though.

I was blown away by the wonderful customer service that Ashley Alger provided on the day of the wedding. After recent staff changes she came on about a month before our wedding and was a blessing in disguise. She took care of EVERY single detail, and was so caring throughout the whole process and day off. All the staff at the hotel was sweet and very attentive. The food was to die for, the rooms were clean and beautiful and our guests can't wait to come back. I wish we could do it all over again. This place is awesome and you get so much more for your money then the typical venue. Thank you for everything!!

It was beautiful in every guest room and space we used. The ceremony was in the Atrium and the reception was in the Vista Del Mar Room. Since we had a wedding, it included complimentary valet parking. The guests really enjoyed it all being in one location too.
