Hollow Hill Event Center is a unique and exclusive wedding venue outside Dallas, Fort Worth. Located on 80 acres, we are the perfect setting for an elegant or rustic wedding where your guests enjoy the peace and privacy of the beautiful Texas countryside. Our family-run venue is authentic Texas, with plenty of indoor and outdoor space for ceremonies, cocktail parties, and receptions. The Getcher’s made it so easy for us to customize the wedding of our dreams! They have so many beautiful facilities to choose from to make the ceremony and reception truly amazing. The facility is so beautiful that you don’t need a ton of decorations and if you do they have a whole store room full of items for you to use. They are easy to get a hold of and work with you the whole way through. My husband and I loved our experience!

The Getcher’s made it so easy for us to customize the wedding of our dreams! They have so many beautiful facilities to choose from to make the ceremony and reception truly amazing. The facility is so beautiful that you don’t need a ton of decorations and if you do they have a whole store room full of items for you to use. They are easy to get a hold of and work with you the whole way through. My husband and I loved our experience!

I received so many compliments about how beautiful our wedding venue was. The space was well kept and provided ample space for our 100 guests. We did our ceremony outside on the Pecan Grove, had cocktail hour at the Old Town, ate dinner at the Great Room and danced the night away in the Barn. The owners, Jean and Bob, are such kind and wonderful people. They were extremely flexible with last minute changes and provided exceptional service during our tour. So proud to be a Hollow Hill Bride!

Jean, Dave and Bob were the nicest! They truly did their best to make everything easier for us. they were accessible, flexible and understanding. We got covid 2 weeks before our wedding and they immediately worked with us to move the date. We got the wrong napkins one day before the wedding, and even though we were fine with the color and told them not to worry about it:), they still went all the way to Dallas the next morning to get the napkins we had requested. Their venue and everything in it is amazingly beautiful, I didn't need tons of decorations or flowers because everything there is already beautiful and thoughtfully decorated. Thinking that everything there has come from the hard work of such a committed family made it more special for us to have our wedding there.

We were so very pleased with how Jean, David, and Bob helped in every way, to make our special day unique and unforgettable. They were so easy to work with, and went above and beyond on the day of the wedding. We just can't give them enough praise for what they helped create for our wedding. We'd highly recommend Hollow Hill for any wedding or event. They almost make you want to get married a 2nd time, just to go back and take in everything they have to offer. Hollow Hill Event Center was amazing! The staff were super friendly, there were not any surprise fees and they let us use leftover decor for our event. Hollow Hill had multiple buildings and outdoor locations that are included in the price, which was way cheaper than I expected. I chose them due to the kid-friendly environment that allowed the adults to have a fun care free night.

Everone we dealt with was amazing. They were available to help with everyting we needed. The venue blew everyone away I planned a 50th surpise birthday party for my husband. The owners and their team are incredibly helpful and so professional. I got married during COVID and e - mailed the owners almost daily as we got closer to the wedding. Oh and did I mention they have a honeymoon suite ON SITE?!?! There are so many ceremony sites so they can accommodate just about any style that you are looking for. And the way they have everything set up makes it a breeze for your vendors (your caterer will thank you for booking this venue). Also, they are so easy to work with. They love love and are there to help make this process the best and easiest that it can be. If you are looking for a wedding venue that will treat you like human beings and not just a paycheck look NO FURTHER! In all seriousness you will not find a better experience. We had the best day ever and that was in LARGE part because of David, Jean and Bob!

The owners of this venue were accommodating, very kind and truly interested in making this the bride and groom's most special day. The property is beautiful for outdoor weddings and the barn is perfect for an indoor ceremony. The guys and girls had plenty of space for getting ready. Kitchen space was plenty big for us. We settled on a 200+ year old Live Oak tree for the backdrop of the ceremony and then dinner under Pecan trees. David and Jean supported our ideas with enthusiasm!

There are many beautiful venues in DFW, but choosing Hollow Hill was an easy and instant decision for numerous reasons. Touring venues can be a daunting process, with limited scheduling options and long drives for short visits. However, my husband booked our tour at Hollow Hill with ease online, the day prior to our visit. We met the owners, Jean and David, at their office and they drove us around the entire property on their golf cart. They are so passionate about their venue and it shows in all the amazing details they’ve added everywhere. We truly had a blast at the tour, and I wanted to share that experience with my family and friends. Prior to our wedding, the owners were very accommodating to our additional tour requests, as our parents from out of town wanted to see our selection as well. With each visit, we were introduced to new features. This venue is always improving and gaining more character! When I arrived the morning of our wedding, all the chairs and tables were setup and I was truly in awe of how beautiful the space looked without our additional décor. Hollow Hill has storage for guests to leave décor behind, as well as a list of their own unique inventory they allow you to use. We discussed table/chair layout and requested specific inventory to use at our wedding when we met with the owners the month prior and everything was setup as requested! As we decorated, Jean and David were available for assistance the entire time. Their storage area came in handy, as we forgot some needed items and were able to find substitutes that were left behind for previous weddings/events. I could go on endlessly about the beauty of the venue and how cool the space is, but alas, this review would become too long. I encourage everyone considering Hollow Hill to schedule a tour; I promise you will leave happy and informed! At the end of the night, the Hollow Hill team made it very easy for us to pack our stuff up with their assistance in gathering our items to a central area. My family stayed at their onsite lodge and my husband and I stayed in their honeymoon suite. Check these spaces out as well when you tour! They are just as impressive as the rest of the venue. I highly recommend Hollow Hill and I can’t put into words how happy I am with my venue selection.

Hollow Hill is a one-of-a-kind venue. The site is beautiful with so many options and people who make you feel like family too. Jean, David, and Bob went above and beyond helping me get through my wedding, letting me come up multiple times to plan and borrow decor. I can not say enough about Hollow Hill and the fantastic people who run it. Everything is so magical once you pull up to the property. We instantly knew it was our venue before we even stepped out of the car! Once you meet Jean and David, you’ll understand why they are highly recommended and loved by everyone they meet. They are so professional, welcoming and caring. You can feel the love they have poured into this place, each brick and flower placed with love and care. This is a unique and beautiful venue that takes away all the stress of a wedding day! I’m so glad we chose them and Hollow Hill for our wedding venue, I can’t imagine having it anywhere else! All of our guests have been raving about it and how they want to move in (which We do as well!). Thank you Jean, David and all of the staff at Hollow Hill for making our dream wedding a reality.

I loved Hollow Hill the first time I went on a tour there. Everyone was so incredibly kind and willing to help. They have so many cool things that are usable during the ceremony and reception. It was great knowing that they set up the reception hall for us while we were busy! I definitely recommend checking them out!

Hollow Hill is not only an amazingly beautiful wedding venue with more options than you will find anywhere else, it is ran by a family who loves what they do & take great care to make sure your event is everything you dreamed of. The many inclusions that are a part of your contract & the personalized options that they offer make this venue heads & shoulders above the rest. They helped out every step of the way. Allowed us to come out to the venue as many times as we needed to do engagement photos, as well as, get specifics for my daughter’s wedding. They helped out with questions I had that weren’t even related to the venue. I would choose them a thousand times over!! We also rented their newly completed lodge that’s on site for our wedding party. It is beautiful with personal touches that only they can provide. This allowed our wedding party to hang out together the night prior to the wedding and then head straight from there to the venue the next morning (just across the field!) I cannot day enough great things about Hollow Hill, their great staff that assisted the night of our event & the absolutely wonderful family that treated us like family!

I had my wedding at Hollow Hill Event Center two days ago, and I could have not chosen a better or perfect place! Jean, David and Bob, are so amazing to work with, and they are so kind, I even feel like they are family! Everything was so efficiently done, they were on top of everything and so helpful.They have a lodge , which is a beautiful house, where me , my overseas family and bridal party stayed, and it is SOOOOO BEAUTIFUL! Clean, spacious, they have complimentary coffee, and very comfortable rooms and bathrooms. The house fits up to 19 people.The venue itself it is beautiful! I had a ceremony outside and dinner inside, and a dance party at the barn.At first our wedding was going to be in Miami, but after the hurricane, I decided to do it in the DFW area , looking through the knot, as soon as I saw the pictures of Hollow Hill, I knew that was it. And sure enough when I first went to visit in the middle of winter, I fell in love with the place and with the owners.They were flexible and so patient with our change of dates due to immigration. Also Jean, referred us to Bust a Move. The best DJ and MC I have ever seen. Great service and kept the party alive!!! It was amazing and beautiful. This day will be forever remembered , in large part because HOLLOW HILL was big part of making this day PERFECT AND UNFORGETTABLE!😍

As a wedding coordinator I made sure I found not only the perfect venue for my style but a venue that would provide me with as much customer services as I would for my brides. Hollow Hills did just that. David and his lovely wife worked side by side with me to make my wedding picture perfect. I was just blown away! I do not think I have ever witnessed a venue owner helping a bride set up their wedding the way David assisted me. I hope and pray that I can work with these wonderful people again. If you are torn between venues, choose Hollow Hills. You wont regret it!

About 2 months before our date we decided to try looking at other venues. My then fiancé found Hollow Hill online but I just knew it would be booked. We booked that day and never regretted changing venue even though our invitations had already gone out! This was the smartest decision we ever made! The only reason they didn't respond to an email once was because my email went to junk email (it happens often with that email address) and even then, they found it and responded in only a couple of days! They were on top of everything all the way through the process and I booked with them over a year ahead of time! All of their staff was amazing and so accommodating! I would tell everyone to get married here if I could!!!

Jean & Bob were on top of everything & were so professional & caring through the whole process! They truly had the venue set up exactly as we discussed and it couldn’t have been a more beautiful ceremony. We are extremely happy we chose Hollow Hills for our wedding venue!

My family celebrated our parents 60th Diamond Wedding Anniversary on April 8, 2018 at beautiful Hollow Hill Farm Event Center located in the rolling hills of North Eastern Parker County. Our family's experience was EXCEPTIONAL!!! The Gechter Family, owner and operators of the venue, attended to our every need! Bob Gechter drove and provided a double-seated golf cart which was invaluable in accommodating guests with mobility issues. The ONE-OF-A -KIND Rustic Venue with its themed structures such as Old Town, Mission Style Chapel, Wedding Barn, and Great Hall offered so many opportunities to tour during the day. The reception was held in the Great Hall which accommodated our 210 guests beautifully! More importantly, the owners of the venue are present for the entire event answering questions and providing assistance. Compliments continue to flood in regarding this venue with acres of landscaped grounds and gardens!!!

I don't even know where to begin! I can say that Perfect isn't even good enough for how our wedding went. Jean & David and Robert... wow just wow! There is something TRULY magical about Hollow HIll, I still get goosebumps just writing this review and thinking back to our day. I had zero drama, zero stress just pure bliss the whole planning process while working with them. I work in the wedding industry and I thought surely being in the industry I will see the \"hiccups\" because EVERY wedding has them. However honestly - not one hiccup! Again perfect isn't even a good enough word to describe our wedding day! You can plan your heart out however come the day --it takes a team and you can not pick a better team/ family to share your special day. They treat you like family and genuinely look at your wedding as the best day of the year! They will do anything and everything to ensure your day is perfect!My bridal party and I arrived at 8am the day of the wedding to start getting ready with hair and makeup. David and I and my Matron of honor walked around the site to just look at everything and it was beautiful, peaceful and calming! David even mentioned - I'm not sure why you're out walking around here .. this is your day relax we we will take care of everything. Little did he know that I was only walking around because their property is so relaxing and calming and beautiful! The venue is clean and they think of EVERYTHING. Little things even like trash-cans are built specially to NOT look like trashcans & amenities in the bathroom to ensure nothing is forgotten. They have showers on site in the hen house & bunk house so if needed you can shower. They are opened to any vision you have and will ensure it comes to life! Everything was just perfect and I cant be more thankful! Looking forward to hosting a 5 year anniversary party ... EVERYONE had such a great time I have to find a reason to come back!! :)

Stop your venue search and go check this place out! The owners, Bob and Jean, are seriously the nicest people. We loved working with them. They are so laid back and flexible. Even before we booked with them they encouraged us to come out to the venue as many times as we wanted. Once we did book we were out there often and they always made sure to take the time to answer every question and to provide ideas when we needed them. The week before our wedding they willing walked around the venue with us for 3hours so help me visualize the day and how exactly It would be set up. I can not stress enough how amazing they were. To add the cherry on top, during our rehearsal we decided that we would like to brand a piece of wood during our ceremony. We knew they had wood available but we really wanted a piece in the shape of Texas. When we asked if that was possible Bob said he didn’t have the means to cut wood into the Texas shape. We were disappointed but understanding. Fast forward to our ceremony and you can only image how thrilled I was to see a Texas shape piece of wood there ready for us to brand. Bob went out of his way to make it happen! We were perfectly ok with not having it but he did it anyways! It was honestly one of my favorite things from our wedding and I will always remember that moment of surprise. So whatever you’re doing. Even if you think you already found your venue. Go check Hollow Hill out. Talk with Jean and Bob. I promise they will treat you like family.

We cannot say enough GREAT things about this venue. To say that the venue is perfect would be an understatement. It is one of the most prettiest venues we've seen, and to top it off the owners are beyond amazing. We arrived for the first time with the intentions of looking around and visiting other venues. After almost 3 hours and a tour of the entire property a contract was signed and we never looked back. If you're looking for an amazing venue with amazing people then you'd be a fool not to book here.

these people are kind, genuine, and helpful and they have such a fun and beautiful venue! Honestly, my husband and I loved the venue as soon as we got there, but the owners are what sold us on it! They were accommodating and let us be as creative as we wanted with the gorgeous space they have. I can't say enough good things about them! All of our friends loved the venue and there is so much to do and see there that I think there's something for everyone! Go meet these wonderful people and their venue and you'll be ready to book as well.

these people are kind, genuine, and helpful and they have such a fun and beautiful venue! Honestly, my husband and I loved the venue as soon as we got there, but the owners are what sold us on it! They were accommodating and let us be as creative as we wanted with the gorgeous space they have. I can't say enough good things about them! It was love at first sight! After our tour at Hollow Hill I fell in love with the place and knew it was exactly the perfect place for our wedding. Bob and Jean the owners spent a lot of time with us showing us around the place and their future plans for new developments on the property. Bob obviously takes a lot of pride in what he has built. It is a beautiful place. We got married under a tree in the pecan grove. The staff was there to assist us in set up and Bob helped us design my fairy tale ceremony site. I cannot decide what I liked more, the venue or the service the staff at Hollow Hill provided. My husband liked that they didn't nickel and dime us for everything and that it was all included. Our wedding was in April and I am still getting compliments on what an amazing, unique wedding venue Hollow Hill is. In fact, when I hear people talk about my wedding, they say that it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to. There is a place there for every thing you could need. A cantina, fire pit, gardens, pond, banquet hall, covered pavilion, and more and when you book the place you get access to it all. I cannot thank Bob and Jean enough. They are two wonderful human beings who truly enjoy making your special event everything that you dream of!!

This venue was beyond amazing!! I have received so many compliments from my guests on just how beautiful and unique the space was. Additionally Bob and Jean and the entire staff at hollow hill were beyond outstanding!! They were so accommodating and really worked hard to make sure our day was amazing! Even when at the last minute we had to add an additional 25 guests to the RSVP list. Jean simply said no problem and made it happen. If you are looking for a beautiful -and unique venue that your guests will remember for a lifetime look no further!!

My experience at Hollow Hill was exceptional. I could not have dreamed up a more delightful venue. We hosted my son's 18th birthday/graduation party at Hollow Hill. Hollow Hill was the perfect setting for our Rustic Wedding! The grounds were so beautiful and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I wouldn't change a thing.

The owners of Hollow Hill were amazing! I am a teacher and also in graduate school, which means I have little free time. The owners and staff offered to help and provided assistance with finding vendors that would work best with my husband's and my personality. I even forgot to sign the contract for a wedding coordinator and they helped find one within the last two weeks of the wedding! The venue is breath-taking and offer so many options for locations and \"plan-B's\" for inclement weather. They offer flat rates for the venue and don't try to nickel and dime you with extras! We knew immediately when we visited the first time that Hollow Hill is where we were going to get married!

The place speaks for itself and I love that you dont have to over do the decorations to help the venue look good it looks fantastic all on its own. We actually held a fundraising event at this AMAZING venue. If I ever get married again, I know where I will do it. The entire staff, including David and Jean, the owners treated us like family. They are extremely generous, detail oriented, and lots of fun! Their property is breathtaking, and they have obviously taken lots of time in making sure every detail is thought through.

Hollow Hill Farm was the perfect venue for our daughter's Sweet 16 Birthday Party. We used the barn for dinner, music, and a photo booth, as well as the outdoor fire pit for warmth and making s'mores. Every detail was provided and the evening was just perfect. They are a very accommodating couple who work hard to make the event a success. We fell in love with this venue to moment we got out of our car. Jean and David are two of the kindest, sweetest people we have ever met and it was such a joy to just receive a tour from them! David has built literally everything on his property, and he is so proud to show it off to people (as he should be) and Jean was so very accommodating towards us. Hollow Hill Farm was the first venue we looked at, and we wanted to book it right then and there! (Heck, we wanted to move onto the property and have David and Jean adopt us!) We looked at other venues just to make sure, but this was the clear winner! This venue had everything we wanted: outdoor and indoor options for the ceremony, private bride and groom quarters, and a fire pit! Plus it has \"Old Town\" which was so perfect for all the kids invited to the wedding! They all loved playing in the school house and jail! We ended up picking a date that nearly conflicted with a hurricane and her aftermath, so we were watching the weather very closely! But the staff at Hollow Hill Farm was so patient as we waited to see if we could still have the wedding of our dreams outside - and we did! They waited for the grounds to dry some, and then they set up all the tables and chairs exactly as we asked. I also appreciate the fact that we were allowed to come in early on the day of for rehearsal as most of our wedding party flew in and could not get here any earlier (especially with a hurricane nearby). At our wedding, every guest shared not only congratulations but compliments about the venue. I think many of our out of town guests pictured some run-down Texas Barn, but they were seriously blown away. Many asked how we found this hidden treasure, and the truth is, we googled \"Texas Wedding Venues with Fire Pits.\" We are big into camping and we really wanted to end the night around the fire with our family and friends, which is exactly what happened. Jean, David, and Hollow Hill Farm made our day magical!

This venue is absolutely spectacular!!! It doesn't stop there, the owners are phenomenal, the staff are wonderful as well! I had my ceremony and reception at the venue and it couldn't have been more perfect. They went above and beyond to make sure my day was PERFECT! They are the most genuine people I have ever met. We loved having our daughter's reception here. Very nice owners & awesome to work with! However, since we only had the reception there & not the wedding, I think the pricing should reflect one cost for having both there & another if only using the facility for the reception.

Meet the Hollow Hill Event Center Team
Bob Gechter (Manager) Bob joined Hollow Hill in February 2015 as the General Manager. He is a graduate of North Texas University. Bob is married and has two beautiful daughters. Before coming to work for Hollow Hill, Bob worked for Alford Media Services in Coppell, TX. He also worked for George Strait as Stage Manager and George’s guitar tech. Accustomed to large scale productions, he knows how to make any sized event happen without a hitch.
