Hollyfield Manor is a farm wedding venue located in Manquin, VA, just 30 minutes outside of Richmond. The property features a mid-18th-century manor house that has been renovated with care to preserve its original elegance. Surrounded by lush greenery such as holly trees, magnolias, and boxwoods, the farm offers a romantic setting for any celebration. Managed by mother-and-daughter team Sarah Barham and Jessica Coffee, the venue and its personable staff aim to help couples host their dream weddings. Established in 1750, Hollyfield Manor was once owned by friend and brother-in-law of George Washington, Honorable Burwell Bassett. Built in a stately Greek Revival style, the manor showcases white columns and is surrounded by thousands of acres of manicured farmland. To frame your big day in the property’s eye-catching architecture, you and your partner can say “I do” on the manor’s front steps. After you exchange vows, you can admire the picturesque scenery and views of a tranquil lake. Inside, the building has been restored and decorated to blend historic details and contemporary elements. Your cocktail hour can be held in the Tavern Room where you and your guests can share conversations and make memories beneath crystal chandeliers. The space also has access to a screened porch outside so that you can enjoy the fresh air. In the renovated reception hall you can share a meal and time on the dance floor with up to 250 loved ones. Thanks to the space’s full bar, you and your guests can sip your favorite drinks while taking in panoramic views of the nearby pond. Prior to your event, a get-ready suite is available for you and your wedding party to prepare in. Sarah, Jessica, and their attentive staff are devoted to creating one-of-a-kind celebrations for to-be-weds on their big days. Sarah and Jessica developed their passion for weddings while working as a catering team. Having years of experience preparing memorable meals for hundreds of occasions, they delight in helping each couple achieve their unique dream. My husband and I got married on 11/05 and it was absolutely beautiful. Honestly it was perfect. The venue is absolutely beautiful and the views/sunsets are amazing. The crew and Jessica, the venue coordinator, were so professional. They really went above and beyond to make our vision come true. Jessica especially was ready at any given moment to discuss any of my concerns via email or text. Its pretty tough for me to let people take over and execute my ideas but Jessica and the crew really brought my ideas to life. I did not have to do a thing come the week of. The food 🤤🤤🤤 absolutely delicious! Our guests are still talking about it months later. No one left hungry. The kitchen staff did such a great job. They were also EXTREMELY careful in terms of ingredients and diet restrictions. My husband is allergic to peanuts and this was the only venue that told us it would not be a problem, that they would double clean the kitchen if needed to make sure it was safe for him to eat there. And that was a really huge deal for us. We absolutely loved it and if we were to ever have another huge event I would 100% pick this place. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for any kind of event!

Words cannot describe the amount of gratitude and happiness we feel for Hollyfield. We got married 11/12/23 and the venue is absolutely beautiful and perfect for an indoor or outdoor wedding and reception. Jessica was the best planner and helped make our day as perfect as we imagined. She made sure that we were taken care of in ways we didn’t even think about, helping us take pictures for burying the bourbon (which turned out fantastic, Jessica is an excellent photographer), packing us leftovers from our dinner to eat wedding night, helping us set up everything to have it exactly as we envisioned. The price is extremely affordable and they already have all kinds of decorations available so you’re not running around getting everything under the sun. It was a flawless day and the staff was extremely helpful and the wedding day went so smoothly I had so many people comment how effortless everything seemed and felt because of Jessica and the Hollyfield staff. I cannot stress enough how every one should get married at Hollyfield. We’re so grateful we got to make memories with them and had them take such good care of us!! Our wedding was at Hollyfield Manor on 12/2/23 and it was absolutely spectacular. Jessica and her team were amazing. Throughout the entire process, Jessica was quick to respond and always answered any question I had. She provided great insights and guidance when needed. She managed everything day of with ease. Everything was absolutely amazing day off. She was flexible and made sure that there was no stress throughout the entire planning process. She did things that were above and beyond what I expected! There are so many words to say! This venue is everything you could ask for and then some. This venue sold me online before I even toured! It was everything I envisioned! It had all of the feels of being on a farm without being the traditional farm house wedding venue! It has a beautiful manor house with perfect get ready rooms and options to get married inside and outside! It even has water, a silo, and a red barn! Not only is it absolutely stunning for a wide range of photos the amount that is included makes everything easy! Most venues you are running around to decorate and organize many vendors. This venue, with the help of their coordinator, Jess, setups, takes down, and does just about anything you ask! The venue has so much decor including signs, vases, lanterns, a hedge wall and many more! It also provides day of and vendor coordination for the day which was a savor! Even with Jess being a day of coordinator she truly felt like a full wedding planner she is just that attentive! Jess has an answer for any and all related questions! The venue includes linens, delicious foods, bartenders with bring your own alcohol and so many options it felt so inclusive. Not only is a stunning venue, but you can be at ease with Jess, the coordinators ability to make your day run smooth. It is truly a one stop shop. You will be amazed with how much they offer and take off your plate so you can just sit back and relax. Our day was so effortless and stress-free! It was just perfect thanks to the incredible staff! Schedule your tour today or do as I did and just drive by without a tour because your to excited to see the most perfect venue for your most perfect day!

My daughters wedding was at Hollyfield Manor on April 23, 2023We are still hearing compliments from our guests regarding the beautiful venue & the amazing food. Food included a carving station w roast beef, marinated asparagus, a potato bar and the butternut squash ravioli is a must! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect Venue! It’s well kept, inviting and comfortable with the perfect indoor reception spot with large windows, beautiful views of the pond & amazing sunset photo opportunities. The staff is very friendly & attentive. Thank you to Jessica for making my daughters wedding day her “favorite day ever” She was patient, kind, warm & always quick to respond with guidance throughout the year leading up to the big day She carried out the brides vision with careful attention to every detail from set up to the sparkler send off nothing was overlooked All of our expectations were met and then some, we couldn’t have made a better decision and can’t recommend this Venue enough!

Our wedding at Hollyfield Manor was the most special day of me and my husband's lives. Jessica is an amazing coordinator. Our family was going through a tough time about a month before our wedding and the Hollyfield team made our wedding planning experience stress-free and enjoyable. The property is beautiful and being able to get ready in the manor house the day of the wedding was amazing and fun. Jessica has a wealth of knowledge about weddings, vendors, and organization. The food was also delicious! I really can not suggests this venue enough. We are hoping one of our friends chooses to get married here just so we can go back! Our wedding at Hollyfield Manor was an absolute winter wonderland dream come true! I cannot even begin to explain how wonderful our entire experience was—from the initial tour, to the wedding planning process, to the actual wedding—this venue, and more importantly the staff, were ahhhhmazing. Jessica, our Wedding Coordinator, is an angel on earth and I don't know how we would have pulled off such a detailed and beautiful Christmas winter wonderland wedding without her. She is extremely kind, communicative, responsive, organized, detail-oriented, and with a great eye for design, she makes a fairy godmother of a coordinator that goes way above and beyond. The food is also delicious that several of our guests went back for seconds and even still to this day, tell us how good the food was. You cannot go wrong with this venue, and you will be in supremely good hands.

Trust me when I say, stop searching! You have found the perfect venue, there is no need to look elsewhere! I am not a person who finds myself speechless often but when it comes to this venue and every single person who works there, words cannot express how amazing they are. The location and views speak for themselves and the real MVP of this establishment is Jessica. If I could give her and this venue 10 stars I would. She always made herself available to me for anything I needed throughout the process. We planned our wedding for two years so she heard from me a lot and never hesitated to help or just lend an ear. Not only did she bring our dream wedding to life, I made a friend in her and I could not be happier with our decision to get married here.

Where do we even begin? We had the absolute best experience having our wedding at Hollyfield Manor! Let’s start with the property first. The manor house exudes classic elegance and southern charm. It gave us the perfect getting ready space, and there were so many beautiful spots for pictures, especially the front porch. The landscaping all around the grounds is flawless, and you can see how much hard work is going on for the upkeep and getting ready for events during a weekday visit. We were fortunate enough to have wonderful weather and were able to have our ceremony outside in front of the pond. It provided the perfect scenery so that we didn’t really need to add additional decorations, just some flowers. The reception hall is beautiful, spacious, and perfectly laid out to accommodate one heck of a party! Ok, now moving on to the most important and best part of Hollyfield- Jessica and Susie. They are the absolute DREAM TEAM! Susie’s catering is beyond delicious, and we still have people talking about the food at our wedding weeks later. We have been to countless weddings where the food is bland and boring, but that was not the case with Hollyfield. Susie knows what she’s doing, and it shows. Jessica is on the coordination side of things, and she single-handedly made our wedding planning experience a breeze. She is so incredibly kind, kept us in the loop, and made sure our day went off without a hitch. In addition to the big things, she took care of so many little details, and she truly means it when she says that her goal is for her clients to be able to just show up on their wedding day and enjoy everything we had worked to put together. She has beautiful decorations that are available for use, and we barely had to purchase anything additional for decorations. Also, every one of Hollyfield’s preferred vendors that we used was amazing. We appreciated that they had so many vetted businesses that we could trust. We used a photographer, florist and photo booth company that they recommended, and we were thrilled with them. Trusting Hollyfield to make our wedding day beautiful and memorable was the best decision we made. My husband and I have said so many times how thankful we are for Jessica and Susie working so hard to make our wedding a dream come true. I HIGHLY recommend booking your wedding with them. They will take amazing care to make sure your special day is perfect!

I can not recommend Hollyfield Manor enough! They were amazing from start to finish. From our very first tour of the venue, Jessica got to know us and really listened to what we wanted for our wedding. She even crossed a vendor off of their preferred list because she knew that their personality wouldn't match with ours.I was a bride who did not want to be bogged down in the little details or doing a lot of DIY. Hollyfield had almost all of the decorations I needed already included in the cost. The indoor and outdoor spaces are all beautiful on their own and Jessica made small adjustments to make it fit for us.On top of the fact that Jessica handled all of my questions and concerns in the planning process, she also handle any issues day of the wedding. She offered to pick up my cookies for me and even got wire cutters to take the security tag off of my husband's shoes! She made our day so smooth without being intrusive at all.All of our guest could not stop talking about how beautiful our wedding was during cocktail hour, but once they finished their dinner, they could not stop talking about how good the food was! It was a huge selling point to us that catering was on site at Hollyfield, but we also knew from the tasting that we were getting top notch food as well. Susie and Jessica even put together a cooler bag of leftovers for us the next day so we got to relive our wedding dinner for multiple nights!Of the three venues we toured, Hollyfield was by far the best and easy to choose for our wedding. Now that we got to have our wedding there, I would do it over again in a heart beat. I would have no reservations about recommending this venue to anyone!

I can not recommend Hollyfield Manor enough! They were amazing from start to finish. From our very first tour of the venue, Jessica got to know us and really listened to what we wanted for our wedding. She even crossed a vendor off of their preferred list because she knew that their personality wouldn't match with ours.I was a bride who did not want to be bogged down in the little details or doing a lot of DIY. Hollyfield had almost all of the decorations I needed already included in the cost. My husband and I got married at Hollyfield Manor last weekend (Nov 6, 2021) and we had the best day we could have ever dreamed of! Jessica was awesome to work with throughout the whole process and made everything so easy and stress free. She already has the place so nicely decorated that you really only need a few things to help personalize the space. Hollyfield also has a great preferred vendor list to help make the process and day both run smoothly. The manor house is spacious and was very comfortable for our whole wedding party to get ready the day of the wedding. It's so convenient having everything right on site. There are beautiful indoor and outdoor ceremony sites depending on the weather or your preferences. Susie does the catering for the venue and she does an amazing job, everything is sooo delicious! We received compliments from multiple guests on both the food and the venue overall. We would definitely recommend Hollyfield Manor to anyone and everyone!

I got married here September 2021 and can't say enough positive things about this venue and our experience. We were originally supposed to get married in 2020, but had to move the date due to COVID. Jessica was incredibly kind, understanding, and flexible with us. We moved the date no issue. Throughout the planning process, she answered all emails and calls and texts promptly, and helped me add some personal touches to our wedding that the venue hadn't previously offered (hello specially built greenery wall!). On the wedding day, we loved having a separate air conditioned bridal suite and groom's suite. We also loved how we had a beautiful outdoor ceremony space, a separate indoor air conditioned cocktail hour space, and a separate indoor reception space. The separate spaces helped with the flow of the event and made it seem much more luxurious. Jessica and her team paid attention to little details. I'm very type A, and they made the event go off absolutely perfectly even though I'm picky about the little things. The food was also delicious - we got so many compliments about their in-house catering, Traditions Catering. Please do yourself a favor check this venue out - I am so grateful we went with Hollyfield Manor! You won't be disappointed!

There are not enough stars to give this venue. Hollyfield was everything I wanted plus a whole bunch I didn't even know I needed. It's a beautiful combination of rustic and class. My guests could not stop talking about how much they loved the views and scenery. I couldn't stop talking about how much I loved that plus the staff.The venue itself is outstanding. It's a historic manor on a farm with water views, a barn, a tree swing, a beautiful reception hall, and so much more. We got ready in the manor which had plenty of room for the guys and the gals (something we did not find in other venues). We then got married under the pergola by the water. It was absolutely stunning and there was even shade provided by a huge tree out front. We took photos all over the venue (there are so many different backdrops) and then went over the the reception hall. By far the most impressive one I've seen. The reception hall has a beautiful fire place, views of the water, and a perfect sized dance floor. If my guests needed a break from the music, there was also a patio area outside perfect for relaxing.Another great part about the venue itself is that they already have tons of decorations. The only things I purchased were tea candles, seating cards, and photos of my husband and I. Everything else the venue already had. Centerpieces, table numbers, signs, picture frames, you name it. They also reused the ceremony flowers in the reception hall which I greatly appreciated.The staff was one of my favorite parts of the venue. Jessica, the coordinator, did a phenomenal job making sure everything was taken care of so I was able to chill and enjoy the company of my friends and family. She was able to make decisions for me when I really didn't have the mental capacity to do so, but she also fulfilled any requests I had. It would not have been the same day without her. I also didn't come across a single staff member I didn't love. Everyone was so kind and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. They paid attention to all the details. I thought initially it was because I was the bride, but no. I was thrilled to learn they treated my guests the same way. They even cleaned up all of our things and loaded them into my parents car when the night was over.I also could not finish this review without talking about the food. My guests were obsessed. I've been looking forward to this food since our tasting months ago. It's SOOO GOOD. They sent us home with a \"honeymoon package\" of food and alcohol. We devoured it within a few days. It's even amazing leftover so you can imagine how good it is at the reception.I could talk all day about how much I love this venue. It holds such a special place in our hearts. We got married at Hollyfield Manor on 9/11/2021 and cannot say enough great things about the venue, the food, and Jessica! We had such a blast, and highly recommend Hollyfield to other couples - Particularly for out-of-town couples like us! The service was truly unmatched.My husband and I live in California, but the majority of our friends and family are in Virginia. So, we researched venues across VA before landing on Hollyfield. We were specifically looking for a venue that could work with us since we were so limited due to the distance - Hollyfield definitely exceeded our expectations! Jessica provided a ton of great tips and advice, and was super responsive. The entire wedding planning process was so simple since Jessica has so much knowledge about weddings, and the venue has so much decor available. She was able to advise about day-of timelines, get information from their bartenders about how much alcohol to purchase, and recommended some amazing vendors. Jessica also covered any special requests we had for ceremony/reception. The entire wedding weekend was also not stressful at all for me since Jessica had it covered - For instance, we had an issue with our cake in-transit where the icing got messed up but Jessica handled it while I was getting ready. When the party was over at the end of the night, Jessica seamlessly had us ready to pick up the decor that we brought, take our to-go bag of leftovers, and see us off safely.We got a ton of compliments on the venue - Our friends and family enjoyed milling about the outdoor space since we had a gorgeous evening. My toddler nephews were particularly fascinated by the lake. My bridesmaids had so much fun getting photos in front of the house, under the pergola, and in the garden. The decor that Hollyfield was also superb - We only provided a few personalized touches and the rest was all Jessica. I also received a ton of compliments on how well decorated the reception hall was. We did our engagement shoot at Hollyfield as well and the photos are stunning.We really enjoyed the food - We got a lot of compliments about the mac and cheese in particular :) Susie's food was amazing, and made the catering portion of wedding planning so simple to have it all in house! They were also totally open to any specialized catering requests.

I had my wedding there 5/22/21 and it was everything I had hoped for. Not only is the venue beautiful, but the family that owns is truly what made my day so special. They are kind, decent, hard-working people who will go out of their way to work with you to make your wedding day dreams come true. When I first toured the venue I knew it was the one. Between the fields and trees that live the driveway, to the pergola by the water, to the elegant house and reception hall, everything is absolutely gorgeous. Jessica, the venue coordinator was probably the most important component to my wedding planning. I truly don’t know how I would have done it without her. She thought about every little detail to help make my day perfect. Planning a wedding during covid was stressful. A few months before the wedding I had no idea what my wedding day would look like. Jessica helped me remain calm and assured me that somehow, someway we would have a beautiful wedding that I would love, and we sure did! Jessica knows the venue like the back of her hand. She will offer you several options and customizations to help make the venue yours and when you are feeling overwhelmed, she will help steer you in the right direction. Susie makes all the delicious food in-house so don’t have to worry about the stress that comes along with bringing in an outside catering company. She even made us pretzel with beer cheese horderves that weren’t originally on the catering menu! I’m not sure where to start as I cannot say enough great things about Hollyfield Manor! I wish I could give them a 10 out of 5 stars. This is an absolutely picturesque venue and provides the epitome of a southern charm setting for a wedding! The very first time my husband and I stepped on the property, we knew this was the one! There are probably hundreds of beautiful spots on the property for photos (i.e. the historic beautiful manor, Tavern Room, bridal and groomsmen suite, the lake, the long driveway lined with trees, and the list goes on). There are two outdoor ceremony options – in front of the lake or the stunning manor home. One of my non-negotiables was having a beautiful Plan B ceremony option I wouldn’t regret in the event the weather didn’t cooperate - the reception hall is breathtaking with the high ceilings and multiple chandeliers, beautiful brick statement fireplace, and the natural light from the panoramic views of the lake and property. Jessica, the venue coordinator, was freaking INCREDIBLE to work with throughout the entire process. She was extremely flexible and kept putting me at ease during the pandemic as we had to reschedule our wedding twice. She was always just a text or email away whenever I needed anything no matter what time it was. Wedding planning can be very stressful at times, but I never once felt worried or overwhelmed, especially the day of, because I knew Jessica had it all figured out. She truly transformed my vision into reality – I keep telling people it’s scary how perfect everything went on our wedding day. One of the things I loved most about Hollyfield Manor is they have TONS of decorations already on site. They do offer décor which you can rent for the evening (greenery, table centerpieces, etc.) at an extremely reasonable price. Talk about a budget saver and one less thing to worry about trying to sell after the wedding. With the natural and elegant charm of the venue, when it comes to décor, simplicity is all you need. Whatever decorations I didn’t get, or didn’t think of, Jessica was able to fill the “space” and made everything look so stunning.Let’s talk about food (drooling as I am typing). Traditions Catering is the onsite caterer and offer a wonderful selection of butlered appetizers, entrees, and side dishes. Susie, the owner, and her staff knocked it out of the park with the food. I can probably count on one hand the number of weddings I’ve been to where the food was enjoyable to eat and wasn’t overcooked or tasteless. EVERYTHING on our wedding day was delicious. Susie and Jessica packed us to-go boxes at the end of the night which we got to enjoy over the next few days. Jessica and Susie were just absolutely amazing to work with. You can tell they genuinely love what they do and take pride in their work. They will make sure you are happy every step of the way from planning, to getting ready, to walking down the aisle. I felt like I received nothing but their very best. My husband and I are extremely grateful for the entire staff at Hollyfield Manor – without their guidance and support our wedding would not have been as perfect and memorable as it was. I’m not sure where to start as I cannot say enough great things about Hollyfield Manor! I wish I could give them a 10 out of 5 stars. This is an absolutely picturesque venue and provides the epitome of a southern charm setting for a wedding! The very first time my husband and I stepped on the property, we knew this was the one! There are probably hundreds of beautiful spots on the property for photos (i.e. the historic beautiful manor, Tavern Room, bridal and groomsmen suite, the lake, the long driveway lined with trees, and the list goes on). There are two outdoor ceremony options – in front of the lake or the stunning manor home. One of my non-negotiables was having a beautiful Plan B ceremony option I wouldn’t regret in the event the weather didn’t cooperate - the reception hall is breathtaking with the high ceilings and multiple chandeliers, beautiful brick statement fireplace, and the natural light from the panoramic views of the lake and property. Jessica, the venue coordinator, was freaking INCREDIBLE to work with throughout the entire process. She was extremely flexible and kept putting me at ease during the pandemic as we had to reschedule our wedding twice. She was always just a text or email away whenever I needed anything no matter what time it was. Wedding planning can be very stressful at times, but I never once felt worried or overwhelmed, especially the day of, because I knew Jessica had it all figured out. She truly transformed my vision into reality – I keep telling people it’s scary how perfect everything went on our wedding day. One of the things I loved most about Hollyfield Manor is they have TONS of decorations already on site. They do offer décor which you can rent for the evening (greenery, table centerpieces, etc.) at an extremely reasonable price. Talk about a budget saver and one less thing to worry about trying to sell after the wedding. With the natural and elegant charm of the venue, when it comes to décor, simplicity is all you need. Whatever decorations I didn’t get, or didn’t think of, Jessica was able to fill the “space” and made everything look so stunning.Let’s talk about food (drooling as I am typing). Traditions Catering is the onsite caterer and offer a wonderful selection of butlered appetizers, entrees, and side dishes. Susie, the owner, and her staff knocked it out of the park with the food. I can probably count on one hand the number of weddings I’ve been to where the food was enjoyable to eat and wasn’t overcooked or tasteless. EVERYTHING on our wedding day was delicious. She really does take care of everything for you and made us feel like we knew what we were doing. Planning a wedding is no small thing, but Jessica was such a huge help. The food there is to die for, too. It was outstanding quality and even got to take some home with us to enjoy afterwards. I’m not sure where to start as I cannot say enough great things about Hollyfield! The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking. There are so many beautiful spots for photos like by the lake or on the dock, by the barn, the silos, fields of soybeans (this year), you name it! Any sort of vibe you are going for is there. Our guests couldn’t believe how beautiful the grounds were, and the ceremony space in front of the lake was picturesque. They have a great rain plan which would’ve been inside the reception hall— still with a beautiful view of the lake. Fortunately the weather cooperated with us and we were able to get married outside, but a good rain plan was extremely important to us when touring venues. You would think being a COVID bride would make things 10x more stressful, but having their coordinator Jessica there with me every step of the way always eased my mind whenever I was starting to feel overwhelmed. Hollyfield was able to postpone my original date in May with no problems, and with our new date being on a Sunday they were so seamlessly able to flip the space from the wedding the night before. I know Hollyfield stays super busy during the wedding season but they made me feel like I was their only wedding in 2020. Jessica was always just a text away whenever I needed anything, even at 9:00 at night! I love how we had the entire property to ourselves all day, and the bridal suite and groomsmen room are absolutely perfect and great for taking getting ready photos. Susie did a PHENOMENAL job with the food and they even packed us a to-go box at the end of the night that we got to enjoy the next day. Do yourself a favor and get the chicken cordon bleu! Jessica and all of our amazing vendors really made my vision come to life from the ceremony, to cocktail hour and the reception. Which by the way, Hollyfield has OUTSTANDING preferred vendors which made that entire process so easy. Whatever decorations I didn’t get, or didn’t think of, Jessica magically pulled out for us and made everything look so beautiful. After it’s all said and done, I wish I could go back and do our wedding at Hollyfield over and over again. The Hollyfield team made our day absolutely perfect and I was able to truly relax and enjoy our special day. I keep telling Jessica how much I’m going to miss texting her (I haven’t stopped though and probably won’t) but I can wait to use the grounds for future photos with our family. Highly recommend!!

Hollyfield Manor is hands down the best and only place you should get married. First off, its GORGEOUS. I received SO many compliments on how beautiful every aspect of this venue is. From the manor house, to the pergola in front of the pond, to the reception hall is just absolutely perfect. The whole venue gives off a super elegant feel with rustic touches. Secondly, the staff is amazing! It is a family run business and you can tell how much they care. The Coordinator, Jessica, she was literally brought to tears multiple times because she so badly wanted me to have the wedding of the my dreams. I planned my wedding through COVID-19, and it was not easy. For about 4 months Jess and I talked on the phone at least 3 times a week trying to keep up with the changes and regulations regarding COVID. If I called her, she would ALWAYS answer; access to her goes above and beyond, there was no limit! We talked for hours about different options of things we could do. I went from a 200 person wedding, to a 10, to a 50, to a wide open and she was there every step of the way planning for each scenario that could have happened. I was lucky enough that VA opened up 3 days before my wedding and I was able to have an almost-normal wedding during this pandemic. The important part was, the last few weeks leading up to the day Jess and her mom said they would accommodate ANYTHING I wanted to do, they were going to make it happen. The day of went SO smoothly. Jess made sure we had everything we needed. It wasn't just the big things like setting up all of my decor during the day and also packing it all up at night or running to her house and grabbing a couple of extra handles of vodka for me when I ran out too early. But it was the smaller details like ordering extra candles for me because she thought I would need them and adding extra greenery to my seating chart to hide my crafting errors. I know there were other things they did without even telling me she was doing them because that's just the type of company they run. They humbly go above and beyond with consistency. She walked me and new husband through the entire wedding with ease, I was able to enjoy every second of the day without worrying about a single thing, it was amazing!Some other great things I will mention: -Amazing food! I had A LOT of compliments on the chicken cordon blue and the mashed potatoes. (They also send you home with a soft cooler to keep filled with leftovers) - These people know what they are doing! They are seriously professionals. I didn't have to think of anything on my own, they made sure I had all the details in order - Jess quickly picked up on the feel of the wedding and made suggestions that were exactly what I wanted before I even knew it - You don't need many decorations because the place is full of beautiful touches which will SAVE you money! (Etsy decor adds up quickly)I could say so many more things, but the bottom line, CHOOSE HOLLYFIELD, you will be SO happy you did.

Not only is the venue absolutely gorgeous and the food incredibly delicious, but working with Tracy, Susie, Jessica, and all the other wonderful people at Hollyfield is an absolute dream during an otherwise stressful wedding planning process. They have their weddings down to a science and go above and beyond to make your day everything you hope for and more! It unfortunately rained right before and during my ceremony, making it impossible to use the beautiful setup they had arranged in front of the lake, but seamlessly they set up Plan B in the reception hall, with dimmed lights and a fire, and it was still the beautiful and intimate ceremony I had hoped for. I truly cannot say enough good things about the Hollyfield team or venue—just trust me, you won’t regret it! (Ps KW Florist is right down the road from the venue and did the most amazing job making my floral vision come to life!! Such a bonus that they also know the venue like the back of their hands and can guide you in planning on where you should put things. The two teams together are dynamite.)

Hollyfield mannor was a fantastic venue with a fantastic staff. This venue is the whole package with catering, linen and day of wedding coordinator. The food was fantastic, and linen was set up exactly how we wanted and Tracy was amazing in decrease any stress we had during the process of planning the wedding. She was always there to answer any questions we had either through the phone or via email. Some concerns I had were, the staff took up my mothers food plate before she was even done. She was sitting at the table with her plate in front of her talking to guest and one of the workers picked up her plate. Also I think the timeline we had was super rushed. We took our picture which was fine and we got introduced and we had our first dance, father daughter dance and mother son dance. I told our DJ in advance that we wanted the whole song played but it was cut short. Also when my husband and I was done eating dinner we wanted to visit our guest table by table but as soon as we got up to do that we were rushed to take pictures again and when we got back we were rushed to have the toast and cutting of the cake and this was all within 1 hour. My only concern is I wish the activites were spread out a little more so we could have had more time to conversate with guest. Many guest left after cake cutting which is normal but if we waited an hour or so I believe our guests would have stayed longer. However all in all it was a fantastic day, we do not regret anything and i appreciate each and every staff at hollyfield mannor for making our day the best day ever!

From that moment on, it was clear that Hollyfield was the perfect place for us! The staff are incredible, the place is gorgeous, the food is delicious, and from the moment that we toured the place until we left the venue after the wedding, we were impressed by how well things ran and how they catered to our every need throughout the entire planning process and made it the absolute perfect day! It is a great venue and it was a perfect day!

The food was wonderful and many of our guests commented on the beautiful venue and delicious meal. Last week we gave our daughter and her husband an anniversary party at Hollyfield Manor. Susie, Jessica and Tracy provided everything we needed to have a perfect celebration. The venue itself is historical, stunning and charming. We made use of two rooms on the property. The Tavern room was used for the cocktail hour and the reception hall was used for dinner. They also have a spacious area for the DJ and dancing. The venue has everything you need for your event including chairs, tables, linens, centerpieces, candles, uplighting, glassware and tableware. They went above and beyond to help us plan every detail and even provided a list of local recommended vendors. We were able to drop off all our bar items and decorations the night before our event, with instructions on what we wanted, and they ran with it.All our daughter and her husband and all our guests commented about how beautiful and perfect the venue was for our party. The staff went above and beyond and I can't say enough about their kindness and willingness to help. We had a wonderful time. They even packed the celebrated couple a Hollyfield cooler filled with food and cake from the event. It was a perfect evening and we have Hollyfield Manor to thank for that!

I wish I could give Hollyfield Manor more than 5 stars. Our wedding was a complete DREAM thanks to Hollyfield Manor's amazing staff and drop dead gorgeous venue. Tracy was a blessing - I don't know how we would have coordinated the logistics, timelines, vendors, etc. without her expertise! She ensured that the day went as smoothly as possible; I didn't have to think about anything, and I felt totally at ease knowing that Tracy had us covered for the day-of. All of our family and friends have told us that ours was the best wedding they have ever been to. They loved the ceremony space (we had ours by the lake) and the cocktail hour room was just adorable. The reception area was so spacious (which was important to us, as my husband's family is quite tall), and we brought almost zero decorations. The venue is just breathtaking on its own. If your dream wedding has the word fairytale in its description then look no further than this beautiful venue. From the moment our guests arrived, they were welcomed by Hollyfield's long tree-lined drive that opened up to reveal its meticulously cared for historic Greek Revival house, its charming outbuildings, its established shade trees, and its fantastic views of the lake. Just as we did when we visited for the first time, our guests knew this was a very special place! And speaking of views, Hollyfield's setting offers opportunities to witness the most stunningly GORGEOUS sunsets and on this day, the sunset did not disappoint!Of course, all of this and some phenomenal vendors contributed immensely to making this day memorable but honest and truly, the day would not have turned out so perfectly without the support of Hollyfield's exceptional staff, in particular, Tracy, Jessica, Susie and Frank (owners). We knew from the moment we toured this venue that we need not look any further; this was where her dream wedding would take place! Tracy, Jessica, and Susie are phenomenal; no one can match their professionalism and true love for what they do; they treated us like family and wanted every aspect of the day to be just as we hoped it would be. The property is breath-taking, well-maintained, and has everything you need to make a memorable experience for your event. Many of our friends and family told us that it was one of the best weddings and receptions that they had ever attended. For us, it was like a fairy tale from beginning to end. We just can't say enough about this amazing venue!

Our very first tour was at Hollyfield Manor, and we knew no other venue around could come close to our experience here. Tracy, Jessica, and Susie make you feel like part of the family from the very beginning. They make everything so effortless for you, so that you can truly enjoy your big day without stressing over small details. The catering here is phenomenal, people are still raving about the food! Also, Tracy and Jessica were so helpful in coordinating for us, and for making the day go so smoothly. And the venue speaks for itself, it's so gorgeous! The house is beautiful, with a multiple room bridal suite, awesome groom's area, and tavern room for cocktail hour. Then our ceremony overlooked the beautiful lake on the property. Following cocktail hour we danced the night away in the separate reception hall decorated beautifully to our liking! Also, sunset pictures here were AMAZING! There's not a single thing my husband and I would have changed about this day. 10/10 recommend Hollyfield Manor, you won't regret a single thing!!! Still getting so many compliments on our day :)

Jessica's decorations were phenomenal and made every space even more beautiful. I would absolutely recommend Hollyfield Manor to any of my friends for their dream day.

I got married at Hollyfield Manor on 8/12/2017. My wedding day could not have been anymore perfect. Tracy, Susie and Jessica did an absolute amazing job from the moment I booked our tour there in December of 2016. I knew from the moment I stepped on the property that my husband and I had to get married there. The ceremony site was perfect, the reception hall was perfect, the bridal suite was perfect, the grooms area was perfect, everything was perfect. Tracy was very persistent in making sure everything went accordingly and timely. I wish we could do it all over again. Such an amazing experience!

10 I had a wonderful experience working with Tracy, Suzie, John and Suzie at Hollyfield Manor, from the first email asking to tour the venue to the day of my wedding and everything in between. They really thought of everything when creating this venue. They have multiple beautiful options for ceremony location as well. The reception site is beautiful as is or can be dressed to accommodate your style. It was nice to not have to worry about rain, heat or renting a port-a-potty trailer since this venue has everything. The property also provides many options for pictures, along with beautiful sunsets. Hollyfield was very accommodating and helpful to work with on all our requests. Hollyfield Manor does on site catering so you don't have to worry about finding another vendor and the food is delicious! Our guests are still talking about the chicken. They even packed a to go bag for my husband and I to enjoy at the end of the night. Hollyfield Manor really has it all, I toured numerous venues and no one came close to the experience and amenities that Hollyfield Manor is able to provide, its definitely worth the drive to King William to check them out, ( and its really not far from Mechanicsville.)

Last night I had the best wedding I could've ever imagined. Tracy and the whole Hollyfield crew were so amazing to work with! Tracy was my day of coordinator and made planning such a smooth and exciting process. Anything I couldn't figure out, they did. I got married at Hollyfield Manor on June 10, 2017. This venue could not have been more perfect for our wedding - there are countless spots to take photos, and our guests really enjoyed wandering around the property during the cocktail hour and reception. The spaces are so gorgeous that we didn't need to decorate at all - seriously, all we did was bring some candles for the reception hall tables and Tracy and KW Florist took care of the rest. Tracy is an incredible coordinator and was a huge selling point for us when looking at venues. She put us at ease during a stressful planning process, and she more than delivered on our wedding day. Hollyfield is absolutely worth the investment!

I got married at Hollyfield Manor on June 10, 2017. This venue could not have been more perfect for our wedding - there are countless spots to take photos, and our guests really enjoyed wandering around the property during the cocktail hour and reception. I got Married May 28, 2017. Hollyfield Manor looks as though it came out of a magazine. Its the perfect mix of southern plantation meets glitz and glam. It encompassed all of our wants. We did our ceremony in front of the pond and we could not of been any happier with out pictures. The amount of natural backdrops for pictures is astonishing! We also loved working with Tracy, she was so professional and easy to get a long with. She always did what was in our best interest and we could not of asked for a better day of coordinator.

I got married at Hollyfield on March 11th, 2017. When I first saw Hollyfield I fell in love with it's elegance and charm. I was hoping for an outdoor wedding in front of the house but we ended up having to be inside due to weather and I couldn't have asked for it to be any better! The gorgeous reception hall provides for a very intimate ceremony overlooking the water. The food was to die for and the staff made you feel like family! My guests were in awe of how beautiful everything was. Hollyfield Manor and its staff gave me a fairy tale wedding.

We got engaged on New Years and I knew I had to pick a venue quick because we are moving to Hawaii in September! My husband and I grew up in King William and we heard about Hollyfield and I really wanted to check it out. The first time I saw it i fell in LOVE!! I knew I wanted to get married here! The place is absolutely gorgeous, the food is AMAZING, the people there are so nice and very helpful, and the reception hall is perfect! Our daughter's wedding ceremony and reception dinner were held at Hollyfield Manor. It is one of the most beautiful and elegant wedding venues I have ever seen! The facility and staff were so accommodating to everything we needed. The catering and staff there are amazing! The food was wonderful. This very attractive venue makes for some beautiful wedding pictures! It was a perfect wedding day!
