This former Brookhaven Nursery is rich with history that our new owners, Kara and Shane Whittington are keeping alive for many years to come. Not only does Homestead host wedding ceremonies and receptions- they also have wonderful options for showers, birthday parties, engagement parties, corporate events, holiday parties and the list goes on. This venue is so beautiful. We loved our wedding and it was the perfect place for it. The owners are very kind and helpful. There is plenty of space for getting ready in the reception hall and also a lot of space for a reception! The only thing I wish there would have been more of is hooks for holding dresses in the ladies bathroom. There weren’t many places to hold the dresses! Overall this venue is amazing.

I booked my wedding at Homestead before it went under new ownership. I didn’t know what to expect, but had faith it would all work in my favor. And it sure did! I enjoyed working with Kara so much to make my vision come to life. She is so helpful! Wonderful experience. I highly recommend!!!

Kara and Shane Whittington (Owner) My name is Kara Whittington and I gave up the big city life in Houston, Texas to follow my dreams and live a more purpose-filled life. I'm here to make your wedding a dream come true! If you can picture it- we will do whatever we can to make it happen. My goal is to make your day as seamless as possible. I am on-site almost 100% of the time and visible during your event to make sure everything goes as planned.
