The venue itself was perfect for our 50-person rehearsal dinner. The space was cozy and romantic. However, the issue we had is with the staffing and overall handling of our event. We had 4 different points of contact over less than a year of planning. Only some of our plans were communicated among those POCs. I spoke with the manager upon arrival early in the day for set up and she assured me everything would be taken care of. Unfortunately, my guests arrived to no bar tender, no music, no lights set up (which they said they'd handle) and no one paying any attention to our event. Someone in my party had to ask three separate people just to get the event going (15min after it's start). There were also discrepancies in payment. Long story short, make sure you save any documents you send/receive from this vendor. Nice people, nice space but horrible communication and execution.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner here. We had access to a large screen for our slide show, a huge room which accommodated the bridal party well and then had most of our guests join for a meet and greet following dinner. The rehearsal dinner location accommodated nearly 200 people! The space is beautiful and does not require much decor, we put flowers on tables and that was all. Lisa was so easy to work with and so helpful. Have no fear, this is a great location!

The staff at the Hood River Hotel were really friendly and great to work with. Our ceremony & reception were both held in the event space. We chose to have our guests sit at the tables for the ceremony to keep it simple, but the hotel was completely willing to \"flip\" the room for us if we wanted. They cleared some tables away later in the evening for us so we could dance. They had a good sound system for us to hook our Spotify playlist up to, and even had the grand piano tuned so my uncle could play our processional. The bartenders were really friendly & professional too. The only bad thing I can think of is that it got pretty warm, but the only reason we couldn't open the door to cool down is because we chose to have our dog present, so that isn't really on them, it's on us. Great experience, and beautiful space for an indoor wedding.
