In the search for the perfect venue my fiancé and I looked at over 26 possible locations from Homestead all the way up to Boca Ratón. Once we saw the Colonnade we searched no further. It’s an amazingly beautiful, historic, elegant, and well-located venue with the most unbelievable staff. Every single encounter we had from the valet to the servers, to the event coordinators were all exceptional. Their level of service and care to ensure a perfect event is executed was noteworthy even by our guests who commented that they had never received such good table service at a wedding before. The front desk and concierge was incredibly helpful and accommodating, going above and beyond at every encounter. The food was delicious and the quality of the wine and champagne was excellent. Although not a low-budget venue, every penny spent was well worth the money as the wedding was beyond anything we hoped for or imagined.

I cannot say enough on how beautiful this venue was. This was always y dream venue and Shelley made it happen for me. My original wedding venue cancelled on me 3 months prior to my date and I went the same day to see the Colonnade and Shelley greeted me with open arms. She made everything so easy and seamless and answered any questions I have. She made sure everything ran smoothly and was super supportive of us. The venue itself is amazing and unique but the staff made it that much better. Working with Shelley & The Colonnade really was the dream. Everyone raved about the Hors D’oeuvre's and entrees and the signature drinks were delicious. It truly was amazing!

We had our wedding at the Hotel Colonnade and it was truly the best day ever! It was truly the wedding of our dreams. Patricia made sure to always answer my calls and emails and give me the best recommendations on any questions that I had. She is absolutely amazing and is willing to coordinate with you on whatever you need. All the guests that attended our wedding could not stop mentioning how amazing the food was and how beautiful everything looked. The staff at this hotel truly make you feel special on this day and treated us like family. Each of them made sure that everything ran smoothly. I recommend anyone and everyone to do their wedding here as everything turned out AMAZING!!

She is absolutely amazing and is willing to coordinate with you on whatever you need. All the guests that attended our wedding could not stop mentioning how amazing the food was and how beautiful everything looked. If I could give the hotel, staff, and wedding coordinator Patricia 10 stars I would!!I could not have booked a better site to host my wedding reception! I got married on November 9, 2019. From the beginning, Patricia was great to work with. She helped us create a package that included food, drinks, cake, DJ, linens, flowers, rentals, drapes, honeymoon suite, getting ready suites for the bridal party, etc. Let me tell you that all her vendor recommendations turned out to be wonderful! On the day of my wedding, the concierge staff was excellent in helping coordinate guests, providing our rooms on time, transporting things, etc. The food was amazing! We served churrasco, rice pilaf, and vegetables and all my guests complimented how great everything looked and tasted! The rotunda was breathtaking when all set up. Patricia even had a bottle of champagne and strawberries waiting for us in our honeymoon suite after that party! The hotel overall was amazing. They made my wedding wonderful! I highly recommend the Colonnade for your future wedding or event!

I had known about this hotel since I was a little girl, who by age 13 had my entire wedding planned out: venue, dress, flowers, etc. Despite it's grandness, with the right lighting and professional vendors hired for flowers and linens, it doesn't take too much to decorate it beautifully. That is, because seriously the structure inside is so gorgeous by itself. The food is simply perfection. The tastings this hotel organizes are group tastings with other couples getting married and that was a wonderful experience within itself. I went with my now husband and my parents and we had a blast. My guests were floored by the food and service of the hotel the night of my wedding. Last but absolutely not the least, the catering department. I'm trying my best not to exaggerate because I'm obviously very satisfied with my experience but I cannot say enough good things about Patricia, the catering director. I seriously called her my fairy godmother throughout my entire process because she was an incredible source of comfort and pure joy throughout my wedding planning. Every phone call with her would calm any nerves or stress that even began to creep in. To me, she was really the reason I selected this venue. Even though I had always dreamed of getting married here, I never really thought it would have ever been feasible. My husband and I are a young couple and we had always wanted to pay for our wedding ourselves, we had been saving diligently for a while because we always knew we wanted a quality wedding but wanted to ensure that the venue we selected had everything we needed and wanted. Without going into too much detail, the first day we met her, instead of just turning us away or treating us any less because of our age, she took the time to carefully review what could be possible with our budget and just like that, everything we talked about in that first meeting happened. No hassle or intimidation, just wonderful customer service. In other words, this woman is so experienced and professional that she was able to give us an amazing comprehensive quote that took into consideration everything - so that, in the end there really weren't any surprises. My husband is a numbers guy and let's just say I'm the dreamer, so from day one, the three of us openly discussed my ideas, the available budget and just like that... Bippidi bopiddi boo! All my dreams come true.

We had our wedding at hotel Colonnade and it was beautiful! Patricia, the coordinator at Hotel Colonnade, was wonderful to work with!! I met with her a few times and other times by phone or email, and she was at the wedding to make sure everything was going well. She answered all my questions and helped me plan the wedding of my dreams! I originally wanted an outdoor reception on the terrace but she put my mind at ease by having a backup plan available inside in case of rain. I ended up doing it inside and was so glad I did! It looked so romantic, cozy and beautiful! It was perfect! The food was delicious. The cake tasting was also a nice experience and the chef and waiter were great! The bridal suite was spectacular and we loved the note patricia left us in the room with champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries! It's all in the details. The venue and service was excellent!!

Hotel Colonnade was the most perfect venue and I’m so glad my wedding day was spent here! Patricia was beyond helpful and so sweet during our entire planning process. This was the first wedding in our family so we had tons of questions, and she was so patience and helped answered every single one of them. The venue is so gorgeous and my guests have no stopped complimenting how amazing it was! It’s so convenient especially if you have out of town guests even it’s a hotel. What sold me on this venue was the room itself (rotunda) is so unique that there really isn’t another venue like it. It fit our entire family and friends (155) comfortably! If you are looking for a unique indoor venue in Miami I highly recommend this one!

Patricia was absolutely amazing!!! She worked very closely with myself and my parents as we planned my wedding day. She was very responsive, personable and efficient! As this was a destination wedding, there were many emails sent back and forth. The day of, when I did my first look of the reception hall, I was so overwhelmed on how amazing everything turned out to be! Our wedding day was perfect!!

Sent them many emails for a quote, called on the phone very poor customer service. Went in person and no one could show me the Rotunda or even give me a handout of their packages. Their starting price for the Rotunda on a Saturday is 25K and to drape it 2K. The Rotunda is absolutely BEAUTIFUL but their customer service is just not there and to spend this kind of money I would suggest a different vendor who's serious about their clients.

We live over an hour away from the Hotel Colonnade but the second we stepped on site and saw that beautiful rotunda in person, we knew that the drive would be worth it and boy was it! From start to finish, Patricia and her team helped to turn our dream into reality. The staff was professional and sincere - always quick to answer phone calls and emails throughout the entire planning process. You can tell that these people know what they are doing - as they've hosted tons of weddings! But don't think that means yours won't be special. They go above and beyond and will work with you to find the package that suits your needs. In the end, our wedding was exactly what we had imagined and more. We can't thank them enough for making our day special, and for making our guests who traveled from all over feel at home.

They really went above and beyond, and included little touches to make our big day so special. The food was also so incredible and delicious, the staff was great.... there’s nothing bad to say! Every detail was perfect thanks to the team at the Colonnade. I would definitely recommend it to anyone!! I cannot say enough about Hotel Colonnade Coral Gables. It was a dream venue for my wedding. The staff is also incredible at the hotel. I loved that everything was a \"one-stop shop\": the hotel, ceremony and reception were all in the same spot! No traveling. That was a game changer. There is no venue like Hotel Colonnade.

My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Westin colonnaded 3/28/2015 and even though I never wrote a review back than, I just had to do so now that we are getting ready at the Westin for a friends wedding!Patricia has been in the wedding industry for over 20 years and is the perfect coordinator! She is knowledge, knows how to tackle every situation and most importantly, is the sweetest, most kindest person that goes above and beyond to make the couple and the wedding guests feel like royalty.The venue itself provide a modern yet classy environment in Coral Gables which typically has older hotels and venues.The food is spectacular and the food tasting is a celebration in itself. We got to meet the chef who attended Johnson and Whales, and decided to go with the churrasco and potatoe side. The appetizers were so good that we actually ran out!Our wedding guests had the most amazing time and everything about the venue, from the modern look to the customer service is flawless.In addition to that, we received a complimentary stay in one of the hotels two story suites for our wedding night. Wondering customer service!! I really couldn't ask for anything more or a better venue.

This venue is beyond beautiful. If you are looking for a fairy tale location the \"Rotunda\" is it! Food was amazing! Service was amazing as well. Catering works very close to you all night and extremely helpful!!\rAll my guest were extremely impressed!\r Only thing I can complain about was that they did not have our suite ready in time and were trying to give us another room. When we had the presidential suite booked for over a year. So having that problem as a bride on your wedding day was extremely stressful. Other then that my wedding was beautiful!!

I had a phenomenal experience with the Westin Colonnade. I worked with Patricia to plan my wedding - she was a true pleasure to work with. We held our reception in the Merrick Ballroom, rather than the more popular Rotunda Ballroom. This was the right choice for us because it was a bit cozier and was the right size for our guest count of 140. Patricia was able to work within our budget and still provide an exceptional level of quality and service. We tailored our package to fit our needs and our budget. The night before the wedding and the wedding night we stayed in the presidential suite which is 2 stories and has a ton of room for getting ready with family and bridesmaids. The food at the reception was AMAZING. We served the churrasco and it was the best I have ever had. Additionally, the service was exceptional. The staff catered to my every need and did so in the nicest, sweetest way possible. I truly felt taken care of. Overall the event was amazing and I wouldn't change a single thing about my experience with the Westin. It exceeded my expectations.

The Westin Colonnade is the epitome of elegance and class. I had the honor of working with Patricia and it was a very easy and satisfying experience. The staff is very professional. The Westin does over 100 weddings per year so you can ensure that they know what they are doing! Our food was absolutely delicious and they catered to me and my husband's every need by providing us with our own personal waiter throughout our reception that brought us whatever we wanted to drink/eat, even if it was separate from our planned menu. We were married in the galleria and had our reception in the Rotunda room which is absolute perfection and provides the extra element of a unique setting. My guests raved over the service provided to them and my out of town guests especially loved staying in the area, as they had everything they could ever need around the corner!

I HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE FROM START TO FINISH THOUGH THIS HOTEL IS BEAUTIFUL, THE CATERING TEAM IS PRETTY VISCOUS. I WAS LIED TO, TRICKED, AND THEN MADE EMPTY PROMISES BY THE CATERING MANAGEMENT. FOOD IS JUST OKAY AND FOUNTAIN ONLY DRIPS. IN ADDITION, THE PAINTED CLOUDS ON THE CEILING OF THE ROTUNDA ROOM IS RUINED DUE TO A NEGLECTED LEAK. THE HOTEL IS HISTORIC SO LOOK FOR RESTORATIONS TO BE DONE IN 2-3 YEARS. IF YOU WANT SOMETHING OTHER THAN THE TYPICAL SIT DOWN CHICKEN DINNER, YOU WILL NOT BE ACCOMMODATED WITH EASE. The place was amazing! Beautiful! The food was spectacular. Everything on the day of the wedding was almost perfect until it came time for the bridal suite. For some reason an entire hotel, only had one room for the brides, so the wedding from the night before wouldnt check out in time for me to have one to get ready as included in the package. I ended having to PAY for a room and then in the middle of my wedding, have a hotel person tell me I have to check out of the original room in the middle of the wedding. RIDICULOUS! \rEverything else was great. I just wish they had more organization when it came to the rooms.
