We got married this December at the Hotel Northampton and we couldnât be more pleased with how everything went! Leading up the wedding we felt assured that everything at the venue was taken care of. We were in constant communication and felt like any question or concern we had about the wedding itself was addressed. It felt like so much went into making our day special. We hosted our wedding at the Hotel in the Grand Ballroom as well as a welcome party and after party at the Wiggins Tavern. The venue coordinated the logistics of the flowers and cake which are included in the package providing the option of 2 florists and 2 bakeries. We were so so happy with the venue selection, not only was the day of the wedding stress free but the whole weekend was! The hotel accommodated a lot of guests for the wedding(about 75 people stayed at the hotel) and everyone was happy with their stay and having dinning options on site was great for guests arriving after traveling. Ruby was absolutely unbelievable in coordinating our weekend of events. She has so much knowledge on the wedding planning process and offered helpful suggestions whenever needed. She made my wedding morning so stress free by handling all the logistics of coordinating vendors as well as checking in several times to make sure everything was running smoothly and on time. She handled the set up of all our details and everything looked perfect. We are so so happy we chose the Hotel Northampton for our wedding venue and have nothing but great things to say. If youâre looking for a beautiful venue with the best staff we highly highly recommend the Hotel Northampton!

The Hotel Northampton was the easiest wedding planning venue possible. Carly the banquets manager was on top of all the details and had all the answers. Everyone kept telling me how stressful it was to plan a wedding and I will happily say that was not my experience at all. The wedding was a breeze and this venue allowed me to focus on the important part of the day, just getting married!

I almost did not consider Hotel Northampton because I just assumed, it would be out of the budget we had. I am so glad I decided to reach out anyways and right away was connected to Carly Heath. Carly is amazing!!!!! She is so responsive, creative, and will work with you regardless of your budget and wedding size. We wanted a small wedding of max 50 people and a wedding that would capture my husband's background and my Puerto Rican heritage. Carly guided us every step of the way and provided so much insight and advice. The recommended vendors were awesome and we used one of the DJs the Hotel recommended. They were very reasonable and excellent. It was my dream wedding and Carly made it happen! And everyone else at the Hotel Northampton.

Best Place to hold a wedding EVER! Iâm so very grateful that the bride and groom decided to choose this wonderful place!It really was beautiful. The charming details, the warmth and old-fashioned luxury, a sense of history. While at the same time, down to earth, warm and welcoming. We slept great, we enjoyed all the food (breakfast at the restaurant, the wedding meal). The staff was courteous and efficient.Carly Heath was stupendous--keeping us informed about each of the decisions on the way, and helping us meet our goals. It was really nice to be able to taste everything at the yearly bridal event, and choose that special cake.It was particularly convenient that our ceremony was walking distance away (First Churches).Thereâs lots to do in the Northampton area, and the guests who came from afar really enjoyed themselves.Spot on! Ruby and her team are awesome and were so accommodating. We were planning this wedding from abroad, but with the help from my mom (who is state side) and Ruby, we still got everything to fall into place and work for us. Our wedding ceremony and party was also a little... unorthodox. It included both Christian, Jewish and Danish traditions. This meant, multiple speakers at the wedding ceremony, and around 6 speeches during the meal service at dinner. Ruby was great to work with because she gave us a clear outline of how the schedule should usually go, but was very flexible to make sure that everyone who wanted to speak, got the opportunity. We got so many compliments after the wedding, that the ceremony was one of the best they attended and the mixture of American and Danish wedding traditions was the perfect blend. Thank you again to Ruby and her team for making this such an unforgettable event! P.s. Ruby and my younger cousin, also managed to get a 3 year old and 2.5 year old down the aisle, all on their own. Ruby assured us that they would, but we had our doubts. Thankfully, Ruby and my younger cousin, and a few well placed M&Ms got them down the aisle and some awesome photos.

The Hotel Northampton and Ruby Meng are an amazing team. They made the wedding process for us so seamless even with a postponement for the pandemic which was no easy task. Working with Ruby gave us such confidence for our big day. Ruby was always available to keep us updated or answer any questions. We had several meetings throughout the two year process and she was always honest with us as she helped us navigate what to do. She also gave great honest advice when it came to planning the final details. Coming from someone who knew everything the Hotel Northampton had to offer best, it was so helpful. The Hotel Northampton was also very accommodating to anything we asked. Ruby always took the time to look into it and never let us down as she figured out how to incorporate everything. This seamless process continued right to the big day. From handling all our decorations and welcome bags to putting on the perfect evening for our guests, their service is unmatched. Their wedding packages have so much to offer that many venues will itemize but here they have a level of service they want to deliver and it ensures an absolutely elegant evening. All our guests were so impressed which was so exciting to hear. Behind the scenes was no different, Ruby had everything going so perfectly there was no stress for us. Inquired about doing an intimate wedding here due to Covid. Ruby was great and very responsive to any questions or needs we had. I couldn't have asked for a better experience than the one I had at the Hotel Northampton. All of the staff on the day of the wedding were kind, courteous, and friendly. Ruby was there every step of the way to ensure the flow of the event went smoothly. If you're looking to do an intimate wedding with great location and views for photos, I would highly recommend.

Our wedding had to be cancelled due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. Although no services had been rendered on the hotel's part, they refused to refund any of our deposit. I'm sure it was the easiest $4,500 they ever made. Congratulations for putting it to a young couple just trying to make ends meet. Do not get married here, they do not care about the wellbeing of their customers, only their bottomline. If they can screw you out of your money, they will.

All I can say is GET MARRIED HERE!! We went to HN the Saturday before Christmas (a week after getting engaged!) and Lorraine was there and showed us around and walked us through all of their packages. There was no pressure at all and we spend a few weeks thinking about it and it was the best decision we made in wedding planning. Lorraine is honestly a wedding planner and venue coordinator all rolled into one and Ruby is equally wonderful. She never blinked when I made a suggestion or request and put me 100% at ease the whole time. We got married in Northampton's high season with 80% out of town guests and the hotel plus the Fairfield had plenty of room for us to have blocks for everyone (HN controls both blocks!). The weekend of the wedding, everything went insanely smoothly! I showed up with 2 carts of decor and some pictures and everything was placed exactly as I envisioned! Even our videographer commented that he never had been to a wedding that went so smoothly! My husband and I spent two nights in the honeymoon suite and they even held our cake's top tier in the kitchen fridge until we checked out, reminding us as we were checking out! The food is great, the bartenders were amazing, the servers even hurried to put out a small fire one of the tables accidentally set with a candle and then came to tell us what happened so we wouldn't worry! All of our guests said the rooms were wonderful and were so pleased they could walk all around town, running into each other on the streets! I wish we could do it all again!

We got married exactly one week ago and the Hotel Northampton really made our big day amazing! Ruby and Lorraine were beyond helpful! They both had great suggestions during the planning process, answered our emails quickly, and really took care of so much for us. The flowers and cake arranged throughout the hotel also went above and beyond my expectations. All of our guests keep talking about how excellent the food and service was as well. I really can't recommend the hotel enough!

We booked hotel blocks for our wedding at the Hotel Northampton. The rooms were lovely (the balconies are stunning!), the beds were comfy, and our guests had a great stay. The front desk made sure everyone got their welcome bag. We also had an afterparty in the private room at Wiggins Tavern downstairs. Our guests had a great time overall (and my sister raves about the room service). Thanks Hilary for setting up such a wonderful stay!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Hotel Northampton June2016. Ruby Meng was our wedding planning and we couldnât have been happier with her. She was so nice and easy to talk to during the planning process all the way leading up to the day where she was on top of every detail and there for us if we needed anything. The Hotel Northampton staff was wonderful over all from the tasting, which made it hard to decide on our menu because everything was delicious, Ruby made coordinating times and communicating with our vendors stress free and the reception itself was beautiful. The venue is classic and timeless and we couldnât have been happier with our choice to hold out wedding reception at the Hotel Northampton.

The Hotel Northampton worked really hard to make sure our wedding was everything we wanted it to be! We had our cocktail hour and reception here, and both events were amazing (I wasn't actually at the cocktail hour, but heard great things from our guests). I am a perfectionist, and Kelly and Ruby worked closely with me (and graciously accepted my ridiculously long checklists) in order to make sure everything ran smoothly and was set up exactly how I wanted. Everything came together absolutely beautifully. The food was amazing - when we started planning our wedding I was really worried about this, since cooking for a huge crowd can be a challenge, but their chef and kitchen team did an amazing job. The waitstaff was friendly and professional, and our server made sure we were taken care of all evening long. The bartenders were a lot of fun - I spent some time chatting with one of them, and he was great - very friendly and funny. The manager who was helping us at our send-off breakfast was also wonderful. We've had non-stop compliments from our friends and family about how much they enjoyed the wedding, how wonderful the food was, and how much they loved the Hotel. The Hotel itself is beautiful and very elegant. The ballroom is such a lovely room, and didn't need any decoration to look perfect. The Atrium is such a special space that the Hotel has - it's absolutely beautiful with all the plants, and it makes for a nice escape for people who need to step away from the music and the party for a few minutes. Plus, Northampton is a great town with a lot of fun restaurants and activities, for guests who want to make a weekend of the wedding. I'm so glad that we chose the Hotel Northampton for our venue, everything was perfect, we had an amazing time, and we have so many happy memories that we will treasure forever.

Kelly and the team at Hotel Northampton are dedicated to providing the highest quality service and attention for your special day and all the days leading up to it. Included in our package was a stunning bridal suite where many of my bridal shots were taken and a safe haven where my new husband and I retreated to after our we hung up our dancing shoes! We just got married 1/15/16 and it was so beautiful and amazing. We had our ceremony and reception in the Grand Ballroom. Having unlimited help from Ruby and Kelly made planning our wedding next to headache free. They were beyond flexible with our outrageous requests. Everything from the rehearsal to the last second of our wedding was almost flawless. They allowed us to have a candy bar, a hot chocolate bar, a coffee bar. They set everything thing up better than we imagined. The bridal suite was perfect. The only thing we wished we had known earlier was that the wedding planners were leaving right after they ate. There were a few hiccups that were expected. One of the tables were missing a chair and it took over 10 minutes to get them a chair since it was only the wait staff we could find. And unfortunately the same guest got skipped for their meal. When they did eventually bring his steak out, it was very very very raw. Also maybe it was our mistake having a just kids table, but the meals there were all messed up. Some people did get the wrong meals. I feel like if maybe the planners had stayed, myself and my husband wouldn't have had to smooth this over during our reception and could have sat down and enjoyed our food. Besides that, I would 100% use this venue again.

We had the most perfect wedding, and I don't use that word lightly! Ruby and Kelly couldn't have been anymore wonderful! They were extremely responsive and professional with any and all concerns my husband and I had! From start to finish Ruby and Kelly helped us with every single one of our concerns and I never had to wait longer than 12 hrs for a response. I can't speak any higher of these two! The rest of the staff at the Hotel Northampton was extraordinary! We are still receiving compliments and letters from our guests telling us how amazing the food, service, and how smoothly the night went! Everyone worked so well together and really made us feel so important and did everything to make our night more than we ever thought it could be! I couldn't be more serious when I saw our night was honestly perfect. There wasn't one thing that went wrong and I don't know many brides that could say that. I would recommend this venue to anyone who is getting married! I couldn't speak more highly of the Hotel Northampton!

Our wedding at The Hotel Northampton was amazing! We loved the hotel and the area and when we first met with the wedding coordinator, we were knew we were in good hands which sealed the deal for our venue choice. In the midst of our planning, that person left the hotel and we began to work with someone new, Kelly, who was amazing to work with as well. She followed up quickly on every detail and made great suggestions when we struggled with our decisions. She was extremely kind, professional and thoughtful. Thank you! \r\r \r\rThe hotel itself is beautiful and our guests were very happy with the accommodations. We had over 50 guests stay overnight and many came in to town the night before and loved that they could walk around town and find many great places to eat, shop and enjoy the culture. The Chamber of Commerce was great and gave us maps of the area to share in our gift bags for our guests staying at the hotel.\r\r \r\rWe had our ceremony at the hotel in the grand ballroom which is beautiful and then the staff quickly \"flipped\" the room to the reception set up while our guests enjoyed appetizers and drinks during the cocktail hour. The transformation was seamless. We had access to a large hospitality room to get ready and served us beverages and appetizers after the ceremony while we \"regrouped\". The hotel has an excellent list of vendors that they work with exclusively which made the choices easy and we were very happy with their services.\r\r\rOur day was amazing and went off without a hitch...if there was one, we never knew about it and we didn't hear any complaints! Our guests have told us over and over that they had a great time. Everything was perfect and we would recommend The Hotel Northampton to anyone for their wedding venue! Thank you again to Kelly, Ruby, Hilda, Hilary and the entire staff.

Our wedding at the Hotel Northampton was nothing short of perfect. The staff is incredible. Ruby was our coordinator and did an absolutely phenomenal job. They took care of every little thing. The packages were very reasonable for the amount of service that comes with it. And the food was fantastic. The entire time all of our guests kept commenting on the great service and how friendly everyone was. \r\rMy husband and I have always loved Northampton, and our wedding at the Hotel solidifies this even more. It was perfect because we never had to leave the hotel - our reception was in the room downstairs (much prettier than expected considering it's practically in the basement) and our reception in the ballroom above, which is absolutely gorgeous. We did pictures in front of the hotel which has a beautiful 'old New England' feel without feeling old at all. \r\rI cannot say enough good things about the hotel staff. We had an issue with the bridal suite on the day of the rehearsal. I, as a bride the day before her wedding, did not handle it with much grace. The hotel was amazing though. They set us up in a separate room while they fixed the issue in the bridal suite, then moved our bags over once the room was ready. I was in the bridal suite that night and thought nothing of it the rest of the weekend. \r\rThe hotel provides a large conference room to get ready. We had our hair and make up done at the salon but we were able to come back and spread out while we got the last of our things together. We were also able to come back after the ceremony and sample some of the passed hors devours before we took pictures. That was a really nice touch. \r\rAll in all, I cannot think of one problem we had the day of the wedding. Everything was absolutely perfect and if I had to do it again I would always pick the Hotel Northampton.

The Hotel Northampton was above and beyond what was promised. Ruby and Kelly paid attention to all the details and did not disappoint! Beautiful setting which lead to awesome pictures. The hotel staff was friendly and truly wanted to make our stay and our daughter's wedding perfect. Food was awesome and generous portions. Overall a great weekend and great experience.

We recently held our wedding at Hotel Northampton in November of 2014 - and I was incredibly pleased with the results. Brianne (their in house event coordinator) made planning easy and fun, she was unbelievably helpful and extremely knowledgeable about planning weddings, local venders, etc. We purchased their Imperial Affair package and she took care of so many things (Limo, cake, flowers) that I found planning to be a breeze. On the day of everything went off without a hitch, the bridal suite was well stocked and included our own server. I got nothing but positive reviews from my guests about the cocktail hour, the hors d'oeuvres, the room, and the actual dinner. We had open bar and we found it to be well stocked and the bartenders were fast and pleasant. Everything was as I expected it to be â even our special requests (small table in bathroom for hospitality basket, certain brand of champagne at the bar, spot for photo booth in atrium) were all taken care of with a smile. I would highly recommend this venue to other couples that are in the planning process.

The Hotel Northampton turned out to be the perfect venue for my daughter's wedding. Brianne is completely amazing as the hotel's event planner. She thinks of everything, has wonderful suggestions and is a pleasure to work with. The hotel staff did an excellent job setting everything up. The venue looked beautiful, the food was great and the service was excellent. Our guests had a great time at the wedding, really enjoyed their overnight accommodations at the hotel and loved being in downtown Northampton.

She thinks of everything, has wonderful suggestions and is a pleasure to work with. The hotel staff did an excellent job setting everything up. The venue looked beautiful, the food was great and the service was excellent. Our guests had a great time at the wedding, really enjoyed their overnight accommodations at the hotel and loved being in downtown Northampton.

Our wedding at the Hotel Northampton was awesome! Most of our guests came from NYC so we had a very big hotel block in addition to the ceremony and reception at the hotel. The accommodations were great and many guests remarked on how great the service in the hotel and restaurants was. I have to say maybe the best thing about planning our wedding at the Hotel Northampton was Brianne!! Brianne planned our event and made sure everything was executed perfectly, her attention to detail and creative ideas were most appreciated. Though she nor anyone at the hotel ever said this, I think I was a pretty demanding bride with a very specific vision of how the day would go... with Brianne in charge I knew everything would be perfect, and it was! We are now 6 weeks out from the wedding and I still have guests telling me it was the best wedding they've been to and how good the food was at the hotel - everything was so great! If you have your wedding at the hotel Northampton with Brianne in charge you will not be disappointed!

I have to admit that when my fiance and I were looking at wedding venues, I initially preferred another venue in the area over the Hotel Northampton. The main difference in venues were the wedding coordinators. I was far more impressed with Brianne Ebel, the wedding coordinator at the Hotel Northampton, and she really was the deciding factor in selecting the Hotel for our reception. \r\rBrianne made a very stressful time much less stressful by offering suggestions and bringing up things we would have never thought of, and always had a positive attitude -- we always left feeling better than we had after talking to her. She would get back to us right away if we had questions, and periodically checked in with us to see how things were going. \r\rThe day before the wedding, we gave her some items to be displayed the following day, and she did such an amazing job putting together some things that were a little out of the ordinary. We were very pleased with the presentation of the special items.\r\rAs for the reception itself, the ballroom was beautiful, the food was excellent, and many of our guests commented that it was the nicest wedding they had ever attended. Our waiter, Ian, was AMAZING - he had a great sense of humor and was very attentive to all of our (the bridal party) needs throughout the evening. \r\rI have no doubt in my mind that we chose the right place for our reception. Trust me when I say Brianne is the best - you won't have any worries when you are in her hands!

The last few weeks before the event were very fast paced and she was able to help us along the path, giving ideas and helping us prioritize what is really important for the big day. In addition, Brianne was able to coordinate with other vendors for our event. \rThe meeting with her the day before the reception to pass on items for the set-up is where you know for sure that you're in good hands. The little details that we tried to convey were noted and acted up by Brianne. She and the staff did a great job with the set-up of our items for the cocktail hour and reception. Upon arriving at the hotel during cocktail hour, we had Brianne guide us on our way to the hospitality suite and around for photos. Brianne was there every step of the way right though the ballroom door for our introduction to our guests.\rThe staff of the hotel was amazing as well. Everyone from the clerks, wait staff, and bartenders were phenomenal. Our meal was great so their kitchen staff deserves a big thank you for making the reception all that more pleasant. \rWe had the bridal suite for the night complete with champagne and snacks. The hotel did a wonderful job for our event, even accommodating our request of taking down the exterior brunch banner for the day of our event. There really isn't much more to say about the wonderful service that we were provided by Brianne Ebel and the Hotel Northampton. If we had to do it again, we wouldnât change a thing about choosing this remarkable venue.

It was a pleasure working with Brianne. The week before my wedding we met for our final run down of our big day. I was extremely sick I had walking pneumonia. I remember sitting at the table barely able to function. Brianne and my mother in law went over the final details as I knodded my head. I remember saying to Brianne \" At this point I don't care, exhausted from being sick. Brianne reassured me my big day would be exactly how I dreamt it to be. She did not let me down. My husband and I are from southern Maine. We have the unique situation of our families being from two entirely different geographic locations within the northeast (my family is in Maine, his is in Syracuse). We knew we wanted our wedding somewhere in the middle. Although planning a wedding from afar is inevitably a challenge, the staff at the Hotel accommodated us start to finish, making the process go smoothly. In the end, we were extraordinarily pleased with our overall experience. More specifically... \r\rThings that we didn't love: \r - We had a large amount of guests that required lodging. We tried to expand our block at the Hotel a week before our wedding per our guests' request, and were told that this was not allowed. Apparently you can only add on to your block 30 days prior. This was tricky with our RSVPs being due only 2 weeks prior. This was the only time I felt disappointed while doing business with the Hotel. \r-My husband and I realized last minute that we had to take an extra day off of work before the wedding to bring in our reception details (place cards, table numbers, etc), as the contract states that they must be at the Hotel 3 days before the wedding. But who am I kidding... we didn't mind having the excuse of taking a extra day off of work before the wedding :) \r\rThings that we liked (very much): \r-Ruby and Brianne were a delight to work with. They were friendly, accommodating, helpful, and flexible. \r- The reception staff was also fabulous. My hubby and I never got a chance to eat at the reception(we were too busy having the times of our lives), so we had our plates sent up to our room. We were delighted to find a tray with both meals, champagne, fresh fruit, and cheese and crackers waiting for us when we finally made our way up. \r- The reception went off without a single hitch. I was just along for the amazing ride--- I didn't have to worry about a single thing. \r\rThings that we loved: \r- Ok ok... we truly LOVED Brianne and Ruby :) \r- we loved every second of our wedding day. The atmosphere, the FOOD (...omg the food...), and the presentation was absolutely flawless. The contrast of the grand ballroom next to the charming atrium perfectly captured the vibe that I was going for. \r- we loved being able to smile and hug and thank our family and friends as they remarked on our wedding being one of the best weddings that they had ever been to!!!! As the host, that really was the icing on the cake of our 100% perfect day.\r\rA very heartfelt thank you to the Hotel Northampton for being so very, very good at what you do. We are forever grateful and would recommend you in a heartbeat. \r\r

Brianne and her team at the Hotel Northampton did a tremendous job from working with my wife and I in the planning stages to the execution of the actual wedding. Her and her team were able to meet or exceed our very exacting requirements, which is saying a lot since we are from New York and expected top-notch service ans quality. The staff were top-notch and very experienced and the food quality was fantastic. \r\rI would recommend Brianne and the hotel to anyone planning a wedding in Western Massachusetts

Hotel Northampton met everything we were looking for and MUCH more. We never thought the treatment we received would be this first class. We recommend this venue to anyone looking , especially same sex couples. I mean Northampton Mass, very open minded city. We want to thank all the staff for everything they did to make our night memorable. Especially Brianne Ebel... With out her none of this would have come together. Planning a destination wedding is hard enough. Brianne made every little detail so easy. And it ALL came together. It was beautiful. She's excellent at what she does, and she truly cares. I absolutely loved my entire experience at Hotel Northampton. The wedding selections were amazing and the whole staff was accommodating. Not only did the make great recommendations to vendors but they had to go through the approvals of my Mom, Sisters and Aunts. Brianne Ebel is an incredible resource and was a huge reason I chose The Hotel over other venues in the area. She was great at recommendations, adjustments and last minute updates. From a wedding that was initially a quick JP affaire, The Hotel truly did deliver an Imperial Experience. We even had a send-off brunch the next day.

Not only is Hotel Northampton unbelievably elegant and beautiful, but it is incredibly reasonable. We thought that a wedding here would be over our budget but we were happily mistaken. Not only is it affordable and beautiful, but the location in the center of downtown Northampton makes for the most amazing pictures. To top it all off, Brianne Ebel is the most amazing wedding coordinator out there. Her bubbly personality and knowledge of the timeline of the reception and what will and won't work made it so easy to put our trust in her. We had not a single worry that the night would go off without a hitch and that was in huge part to Brianne. Our wedding was the best day/night of our lives and we keep hearing the same from our family and friends. If you are contemplating going with this venue, I promise you will not regret it! Thank you to the Hotel Northampton and to Brianne especially!! You guys are the best!!!

When my daughter became engaged, we looked at several venues for her wedding. Hotel Northampton had several crucial advantages: we were able to have the ceremony on site. The Hotel is located in scenic Northampton, in a lovely building. But best of all is Brianne Ebel, the Hotel's Wedding and Event Planner. Always a professional and scrupulously organized, her skills were invaluable during the planning of the wedding. She was available via phone or email - and response time was immediate. The wedding was a lovely day for my daughter and son-in-law, and all our family and friends. I can't thank Brianne enough for all her help.

While searching for a venue for our wedding, I began to feel like \"just another bride\". I didn't have a name, just a date. Until we visited The Hotel Northampton and met Brianne. From the beginning she was very personable and honest - a breath of fresh air! Right away we knew we had to have her as our coordinator. My family has a comical edge to them and she was right there with them cracking jokes, but keeping every meeting professional. What I loved about her is she was not afraid to give her professional opinion but also went out of her way to get you exactly what you requested. The food was delicious - Service, exceptional. If I could do it over again I would always choose The Hotel Northampton! I could go on forever! All I have to say is, if you choose Hotel Northampton- you will NOT be disappointed. If you don't choose it, your missing out!!

What I loved about her is she was not afraid to give her professional opinion but also went out of her way to get you exactly what you requested. The food was delicious - Service, exceptional. If I could do it over again I would always choose The Hotel Northampton! I could go on forever! All I have to say is, if you choose Hotel Northampton- you will NOT be disappointed. If you don't choose it, your missing out!!

What an amazing venue! Hotel Northampton provided a gorgeous setting for our mini-destination wedding. It was elegant, yet had so much character - a beautiful location to have a wedding. We heard from so many of our guests about how much they enjoyed their meal. On the budget end of things, the hotel has different packages set up allowing us to choose options that were important to us and leave out things that we didn't care for. On the planning side of things, Brianne, the wedding event planner, was so helpful!!! She was very professional and handled all my questions and concerns in a timely manner. \rHotel Northampton has the most beautiful grand ballroom for a wedding and they turned our day into a real life fairy tale. We truly were so happy with how every detail was taken care of by Brianne (we went over a lot of details) and her team, Tori (head banquet manager) and Jonathan, in particular were excellent! It was nice to have the person you were speaking with throughout the entire process be there as you step out of the limo. It was actually a relief during the madness to see Brianne and literally stop worrying; and with a bridal party of 16 that can be challenging. As an Italian bride, all I wanted to eat were the food groups I had given up for months, so I indulge in the pasta with vodka sauce (which was the best I had ever had) and the dessert. The table filled with desserts was amazing! Other guests said their meals were delicious, hot, and fresh. I think our only minor complaint would be with the front desk/hotel bookings, which is almost a separate entity, because Brianne handles the event itself. There was some confusion on the valet for all guests, but my mom talked to them and it was resolved quickly that day. They said it was only for those staying over night which wasn't true. For room blocks, I would speak to Ruby (in charge of the hotel portion) at the beginning and let her know what you expect and get all your questions cleared up. For example price/room type. They give you 10 rooms at one rate, (make sure you say you want \"x\" amount of 2 double beds, or queens for your room block) but the next 10 went up another $10, and that was unclear why. It states in the contract it can go up, but it shouldn't within 2 weeks of booking. They did work with us, and ended up giving us 20 rooms at the lower price, which was nice. Not every guest got their welcome bags when they checked in either, some people had to ask or didn't get one at all. Our bride/groom suite was amazing!!! The room they provide was just perfect! I was concerned that I may have wanted a double balcony, but I would stick with the one they offer with the package. We had champagne, fruit and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us at the end of the night. You are in good hands with the event staff at Hotel Northampton. Brianne didn't do very much reassuring that it was going to be best day/night of my life, and I know now that it would have been unnecessary. She was confident in her people and knew everything will be executed as planned. Brianne knew it was going to be beyond my expectations without having to say anything and she was right. We were more than pleased with the level of service and quality Hotel Northampton had shown our family and our guests. For our wedding in May 2013, we had a superb experience with the Hotel Northampton. From our first meeting with Brianne, the hotel's wedding coordinator, we felt at ease and impressed by her (and the rest of the hotel staff's) professionalism, ease, and enthusiasm for the hotel. They were thorough with all of the details (which were beautiful in execution on the day itself!), and Brianne was very kind and helpful and responsive, even when I felt like I was asking silly questions (she reassured me they weren't). \r\rThe hotel itself is gorgeous, perfect if you're looking for an elegant, historic, and classy venue. The area around the hotel was also wonderful for our wedding photographs, and just make the whole thing look magical. \r\rAlso, the food was delicious! Everyone said I wouldn't have time to eat at the wedding reception, but I absolutely made the time to do so (it was too good!). The waitstaff I remember as professional and gracious and courteous, and the feedback I received from our guests was unanimously positive. \r\rIn short, we couldn't have been happier with our time with the hotel. From the first moment of our first meeting to checking out of the hotel after the hosted brunch on the day after the wedding, everything was perfect. My family and I could not have been happier.

My husband and I recently got married this past June and we had our reception at the Hotel Northampton. As former residents of Northampton, the town has a lot of sentimental value to us so it was very special to be able to celebrate our marriage at the Hotel Northampton. We worked with Brianne Ebel and Leah Maio, who coordinated our entire event, and they did an outstanding job! Everything was absolutely perfect and we could not be happier with the service we received from the moment we showed interest in the venue up to present time, Brianne and Leah made sure our wedding was exactly how we wanted it to be. They were both courteous, professional, flexible, and pleasant to be around. Whenever we had a question or needed anything at all they responded right away and were never pushy. They both were always willing to meet with us in person and also helped to refer us to the other vendors we used in our wedding, and they were very honest as well. The entire staff at the Hotel was very professional and genuinely expressed happiness for us. The food was excellent and the atmosphere very enjoyable. The overnight accommodations were great as well! The grand ballroom was very bright and clean and tastefully decorated. There is not one thing I would change about having our wedding reception at the Hotel Northampton, and I strongly recommend this amazing venue to all brides and grooms who are interested!

When my husband and I were looking for a wedding reception venue, the moment we walked into the Hotel Northampton we knew it was where we wanted to have our reception. Then we met Brianne Ebel, the wedding coordinator, and she sealed the deal. \r\rThe Hotel Northampton is simply historic elegance. The cocktail hour is held in their lobby, which is charming in it's decor. The Grand Ballroom is timeless, surrounded by ivory walls, chandeliers and wall sconces. The food throughout the night was delicious - everything was cooked to perfection (filet mignon and rack of lamb!!!). The staff was wonderful. And for everything, the cost couldn't be beat. \r\rOne of the biggest perks of choosing the Hotel Northampton is getting to work with Brianne. From the beginning, she was so helpful. She was attentive to all our crazy ideas, guided us through the simple stuff like picking a cake, and was key to the success of all the little details.\r\rAlthough it is a simple sentiment, thank you to the Hotel Northampton, Brianne and the staff for what I consider to be the best day of my life. It was a whirlwind and I had a smile plastered to my face the entire time.

After looking at several other places to have our ceremony/reception. We decided to look at Hotel Northampton which was our first choice, however we thought it would be out of our price range. Surprisingly it was priced failry. There were several menu choices. After meeting Brianne the wedding cordninator, we had made our decision. She was was on top of every last detail and even stayed at our wedding to make sure things went smoothly after just having a baby. While she was on maturnity leave we were taken care of by Leah which was also a great experience. Both were able to answer all questions - make recommendations an work with us on whatever we were looking for. We had our ceremony on the side patio of the hotel. Brianne made sure it was set up just the way we wanted from the flowers to the chairs and walking path. We also had our rehersal dinner in the Wiggins Tavern. Brianne put together a great menu that worked perfectly for our budget. We stayed overnight and myself and my bridesmaids got ready in a board room that she booked for us. We were all able to get ready comfrotably. We also had the wedding suite which was beautiful. If it was not for Brianne and her amazing team I do not think we would have done a full out wedding. I'm not the best bride in the world and didn't care to get much done. She made it easy with her reccomendations. She emailed me ideas, suggestions, and reminders. Talking with her always made me feel and ease with every step of the planning process. I would forever rocommend Hotel Northampton and Brianne. Every person present at our wedding said it was beautiful and the food was amazing! Brianne has a wide variety of vendors she works with from Dj's, photographers, even JP's. I was able to pick 3 amazing vendors because of her. Our music, pictures, and ceromony was perfect. The hotel also has flowers and cake including in the package. Brianne cordinated with them seperatley so we did not have to worry about that. I was a confused and annoyed bride until I met Brianne and her team. They made our day perfect.

I can say that I had the greatest wedding day thanks to The Hotel Northampton! From start to finish everything with the hotel was seemless. My husband and I chose the Hotel Northampton for the ambiance and closeness to my childhood church, and it did not disappoint! Brianne and Ruby dealt with some odd requests and scenarios, but they handled them with spectacularly! The one moment that was slightly less than stellar was when security asked some of my friends to leave because they were having a (sober!) cake eating contest. I think I would rather have security vigilant than lax, but that was a bit unnecessary.

Brianne and Ruby dealt with some odd requests and scenarios, but they handled them with spectacularly! The one moment that was slightly less than stellar was when security asked some of my friends to leave because they were having a (sober!) cake eating contest. I think I would rather have security vigilant than lax, but that was a bit unnecessary.

On Thanksgiving weekend this year I had my wedding at The Hotel Northampton. Working with the event planner Brianne made everything run smooth and easy, from the first meeting to final details the day of! The day at the Hotel beyond surpassed my expectations! The Hotel to start is just beautiful! I also loved being able to have the hotel decorated for the winter holidays! It just added to the beauty. Everyone at the hotel is so accomadating and helpful! The wait staff throught out the dinner made sure everything went perfect and smoothly. I took all of Briannes suggestions to how to make things run the smoothest and I am so glad I did! Nothing went wrong and the whole day flowed flawlessly. I loved having the option to have the ceremony at the Hotel, my guests did too! The hampshire room was perfect for the ceremony! They also were especially accomodating to my elder grandparents who can't do stairs well! I have received numerous comments from guests that it was the best wedding! I must agree! I could not have dreamed of anything better then the wedding I had at the Hotel Northampton! From start to finish my wedding at the Hotel was perfect and surpassed all my expectations! I hope many more people have their weddings there so they can experience a truly smooth and worry/ stress-free wedding day as we all deserve!

On Thanksgiving weekend this year I had my wedding at The Hotel Northampton. Working with the event planner Brianne made everything run smooth and easy, from the first meeting to final details the day of! The day at the Hotel beyond surpassed my expectations! From the moment we first visited Hotel Northampton, we knew it was one of the top runners for where we wanted to have our wedding. The historic hotel is well-maintained, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the beautiful lobby and ballroom was perfect for our early November wedding. What sold us was the wedding coordinator, Brianne Ebel. Brianne is personable, honest, open-minded and accommodated our budget-friendly plan at that first meeting, every meeting leading up to our wedding, and throughout the actual event (no random fees added that weren't discussed first like other places tried to do to us!). She is only an email away and always had good, honest advice as I was planning. We instantly felt comfortable and had complete trust in her - she was the perfect person to help us plan our big day! \r\rA couple things we loved most about the Hotel is the different feel you get in different parts of the venue - we had our rehearsal dinner in Wiggins Tavern on the first floor of the Hotel - it has an old colonial feel with a fireplace and delicious comfort food while the ballroom is elegant with an intimate feel. The second thing we loved about the Hotel is the location. Most of our guests were from out of town and stayed at the Hotel so all they had to do was park their car Friday evening and all the weekend's events were in walking distance. We got married at First Churches which is right around the corner from the Hotel, had a welcome party at a bar in town, and everything else was based out of the Hotel including a Farewell Brunch the morning after the wedding. Not to mention all the great restaurants and things to do in town that our guests definitely appreciated having close by. Lastly, the food was delicious - there are tons of options and the speciality drinks were a hit! \r\rI can't say enough good things about our wedding at Hotel Northampton. Thank you for making our day everything we wanted it to be and more! \r\r

The staff at the Hotel Northampton was tremendously accommodating, I truly enjoyed working with the events planner and looked forward to our periodic meeting. She really took the time to find out who we were and what our expectations were for our wedding. Then, she did everything to make our dreams come true. On the day of our wedding, we felt like royalty. The staff at the hotel was extremely courteous and made sure there was nothing we felt we needed in addition to what they had already prepared for us. The venue itself is a beautiful setting for a wedding. The hotel is a cozy building with comfortable places for guests to relax throughout the evening, The ceremony flowed smoothly into the social hour, which flowed right into the reception, I can't say enough positive things about our experience with the Hotel Northampton.

And the food was deluctable-- I very, very highly recommend the filet mignon with the gorgonzola sauce.. mmm delicious! The best thing about using Hotel Northampton is the fact that they offer a variety of different bundles all of which include your wedding cake and your centerpieces!! You will be able to choose out of 2-3 options your baker and florist! But having everything like that included in the package definitely helps cut down on both costs and stress!

The service was impeccable and everything was on time. The food was delicious. Laura Wear was our coordinator and we cannot thank her enough.
