The Lower Garden District, with its oak tree-lined streets and walkability, is a relaxing and quiet neighborhood far, but not too far, from the fun and frolic that defines New Orleans—making it the ideal location to help couples near and far celebrate the special day. The surrounding neighborhood is rich in 19th-century architecture, including Greek Revival and Italianate-style mansions, iconic side-hall double-galleried residences, and open green spaces. At Hotel Saint Vincent, events are welcome in almost every corner of the property. You can choose from several unique spaces to hold your celebration. Evangeline Hall and Courtyard is a wonderful dual indoor/outdoor option. The zinc-paneled modern events space is adjacent to the hotel and features an open floor plan adaptable for any sized gathering—including full weddings and rehearsal dinners. Highlights of the space include full kitchen, private wood-paneled bar, state-of-the-art A/V technology, and ample outdoor seating on the brick courtyard surrounded by bamboo landscaping. The Grotto, with the Virgin Mary statue at its center, is situated between the main hotel building and Elizabeth Street Café and includes ample outdoor space ideal for everything from an opening reception, standing cocktail party with passed hors d’oeuvres, wedding showers, and seated rehearsal dinner. The Second Floor Veranda overlooking the pool and courtyard offers a breezy, open-air location for cocktail parties, pre-dinner gatherings, sit-down dinners and rehearsal dinners. The North Veranda overlooking the pool and courtyard offers an intimate, open-air spot for cocktail parties, pre-dinner gatherings, and sit-down dinners. It also includes direct access to our sleek, hotel guest-only bar, Chapel Club. Chapel Club is ideal for intimate wedding ceremonies, cocktail parties, pre-dinner gatherings, and late night dancing. There’s a small stage ideal for live music and DJs. It includes direct access to North Veranda. We had our wedding ceremony at Hotel Saint Vincent, and it was absolutely magical!We had a small ~50 person ceremony on the second floor veranda, followed by a cocktail hour with wine, beer, and bubbles. It was beautiful. Jamie at the hotel was extremely helpful and made sure everything was perfect. As we were also staying at the hotel, they provided a lot of little special touches for us as well. Great location and just a super cool venue.
