We had the best experience with the Hotel Tampa Riverwalk. The wedding planning process could be stressful, but I felt calm and reassured knowing we were in good hands with Samm and the rest of the staff. Samm was extremely attentive and responsive throughout our planning and a huge help on the night of the wedding making sure everything was going smoothly. The Riverwalk ballroom was the perfect size for our guests and has the best view of the river (especially at night!). The food was amazing and the bartenders were quick, efficient, and fun. I know a lot of guests also appreciated the coffee and water station provided throughout the night. We were so pleased with the entire experience and thankful for the valet (especially Marcus), servers, bartenders, Samm, Esteban, Chef Bill, and other hotel staff who made our wedding weekend so amazing. We would definitely recommend hosting your event here!!

Wow. What an amazing weekend we had. The Sheraton helped with all of our questions, requests, and accommodations. We received super quick responses and everything went perfectly without any issues. Highly highly recommended!!!

We loved everything about this venue! Our wedding date was November 23, 2018. Growing up in Florida, I knew that I wanted a venue that had pretty waterfront views but without the sand! The Sheraton is the best of both worlds because our guests enjoyed the beautiful waterfront views and sunset during cocktail hour, and got to enjoy the city views as well. Our pictures were beautiful with so many backdrops to choose from. We even did a boat exit to wave goodbye to all of our guests! Most importantly, the wedding coordinator at The Sheraton, Paul Sparks, is unbelievable! Paul is so quick to answer any questions and did not miss any details! I told him our vision, and he made it happen plus some! I would book with The Sheraton just to have the opportunity to work with Paul! My husband and I did not have to worry about a thing on our wedding day because Paul ran the whole show flawlessly! The food was amazing, 6 months later people are still telling me how amazing the food tasted. My family is from New York, so the cocktail hour was very important to us. Everyone said the food and drinks were non-stop flowing. Also, my hubs and our bridal party were given a private room during the cocktail hour stocked with endless food and drinks, it was one of our favorite parts of the whole night! There's nothing better than sitting with your new husband and best friends enjoying a cold glass of champagne just before the real party starts. We also added The Gelato Carte to our reception, and everyone raved about it! My husband and I were barely able to eat at the reception (everyone told me this would happen, but I thought we might break the norm...didn't happen haha!). Paul had our meals sent up to our suite along with all of our gifts so we didn't have to worry about a thing. After the reception, we walked into our suite to find champagne chilling and huge chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us, complimentary from the hotel and Paul! One of my favorite memories from the night was eating our wedding meal in our giant suite overlooking the RiverWalk! We couldn't be happier with our reception venue choice. I would recommend The Sheraton ten times over. If I could do it all again, I would do it the exact same way!

Booked the Sheraton Riverwalk as the preferred hotel for my wedding in June! Heather & Danette helped reserve a hotel block for my wedding guests and party. They were in communication during our wedding planning and ensured all of my questions were answered. Valet service is the only option for parking but the team was very quick and efficient. The front driveway was under construction and there was a lot of debris and was unattractive to my wedding guests. Unfortunately the pool was also being emptied for repair so we were unable to utilize the patio and pool for entertainment. The rooms were kept clean and neat and the breakfast buffet was delicious.

Samm Fairlie (Manager) Samm is a University of Tampa graduate who began her career in weddings and events when interning at the local Aquarium and Zoo. From there, her passion in hospitality grew and she has now worked in the industry for over 10 years. In her free time she enjoys traveling, and has a life-long goal of visiting all seven continents!Samm loves the opportunity to work with couples from start-to-finish to make their vision come to life. As an avid animal-lover, Samm loves including couples’ fur-babies into their wedding details.
