Hotel Vandivort is a historic wedding venue located in downtown Springfield, MO. For more than a hundred years, this boutique has welcomed couples to tie the knot in its lavish and spacious ballrooms. The building has been restored to host not only weddings and out-of-town visitors, but to act as the living room and work space of Springfield. The open-plan interior features exposed brick walls, cast iron pillars, a cozy fireplace, and large tables made from reclaimed 100-year-old wood. For your special occasion, the hotel offers an elegant and contemporary design that will create a breathtaking and romantic atmosphere. Hotel Vandivort has multiple lounges, outdoor patios, and event areas that you can customize to your needs and preferences. The largest of these is the Vandivort Ballroom, which, at 2,800 square feet, can accommodate up to 200 guests. This expansive banquet hall is on the top floor of the hotel and comes with vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, modern chandeliers, and stunning views. For smaller affairs of up to 75 people, the versatile Cornerstone Room is also available. This dining room is on the ground floor and features floor-to-ceiling windows and distinctive round lighting fixtures. The staff at Hotel Vandivort believe that a spectacular event is all in the details. They will therefore work closely with you throughout the planning process to curate a fabulous and flawless celebration. From wedding coordination to banquet management, these professionals can do it all. Catering and full bar packages are provided in-house and include plated dinners or buffets. Rental of the facility also comes with a variety of tables, chairs, décor, floor-length linens, and napkins. In addition, the event spaces are equipped with sound systems, microphones, and projectors. Rooms and suites can be booked in blocks for you and your loved ones, ensuring a luxurious overnight stay at this chic and cosmopolitan venue.

Hotel Vandivort was the perfect venue for our Wedding Rehearsal Dinner for my son and daughter-in-law on September 28, 2023. We had cocktails at Vantage, the rooftop bar and the Ballroom for Dinner. The appetizers, signature cocktail, food and service were excellent!!Hotel Vandivort is where all wedding guests, family and friends stayed. A wonderful hotel, beautiful, clean, and a great location for morning coffee shops in downtown Springfield. We enjoyed sitting outside both evenings at Vantage around the outdoor fires on the rooftop. I highly recommend this Hotel and Venue!

I sent them an inquire on their website and no one got in contact with me for about a week. Then I called the hotel and Kristy answered. She told me she would transfer me to the event manager. No one answered so I left a voicemail. The next day I called back and Kristy answered again and was rude overall and told me that I need to wait longer than a day to get a response. She also then told me everyone was out sick and that’s why no one picked up my call the previous day. That information would have been nice the first day I called. That same day, Hannah the event manger, called me and told me she would get back to me about a tour day. A week went by and she never got back too me. So I called the hotel again and Kristy picked up. I told her I wanted to get transferred to Hannah. She sent me to someone else’s voicemail. I called again and someone else picked up. I think the name was Tiffany or Miranda or something like that. We asked her if we could just come tour the place and she said yes. We showed up and no one acted like they knew we were coming. I told them Tiffany or Miranda told me I could come and she was standing right there acting like she didn’t know anything. Someone eventually took us up to tour and he was fine. The lady who was the manager of the ballroom was also fine but I kept getting passed around that day and I was just trying to get more information about the location. They kept telling me to email Hannah and I told them I have been and that she is not very responsive. Another person came out who told me she’s been there longer than Hannah and could try to help me. She answered most of my question and told me that she would try to get into contact with Hannah for me. It’s been almost a week. I have lost patience with them and they are the only venue that has been this disorganized and did not respond in a timely manner. I think I’m total I’ve been trying to contact them for about 3 weeks. I have had a horrible experience and will not be supporting hotel vandivort nor will I be supporting Vantage.

Hotel Vandivort and its staff were a huge help during our wedding preparation until our wedding day. The staff have been awesome! From the former Catering Sales Manager Katie to the Sales and Catering Coordinator Marisa. One of the staff at the Vantage, Madison even helped me in removing the stains from my wedding gown. The Surveyor Suite was massive and was perfect for getting ready for the whole bridal party. The food was delicious! My niece kept raving about the cashew chicken and I heard one of the staff from the cocktails was actually making sure he has more for her. The food service on the dinner was so prompt that the main was actually ready as soon as we had our salad plate taken away. The hotel staff assisted with all our queries and meetings and ensuring that we are taken cared of on our wedding event. Excellent service!

Hotel Vandivort was a beautiful venue for our wedding and reception last fall. Katie, the Catering/Sales Manager, was really easy to work with and made sure that every detail was taken care of for us. Our guests spoke very highly of the staff working at the reception, and the food and drinks were great! The suite for the night before the wedding and the wedding night was wonderful, especially having a balcony for photos while getting ready. We had a \"happy hour\" in the Cornerstone room off the main lobby for the guests while wedding pictures were taken, which Katie organized for us and was included in our event rental at no extra charge. We also took advantage of the new rooftop bar Vantage for pictures and a post-reception celebration with a cabana rental. Overall, we and our guests had an incredible time, and we would highly recommend Hotel Vandivort to any engaged couples looking for a classy and fun venue.

Honestly, I can't say enough wonderful things about Hotel Vandivort. When my husband asked where I wanted to have our wedding, I immediately said Hotel Vandivort. I wanted a venue that we could use for every aspect of our day, centrally located for everyone. The fact that the aesthetic fit perfectly into my vision was a bonus! As soon as I saw the ballroom, I started to cry. The lighting was amazing, the acoustics were phenomenal, and the energy in the room pulled us in. We immediately booked and started planning. Katie was an integral part of making our day come together. She was always fast to respond to questions, working with us when we needed access to the ballroom, and recommending vendors. Katie's calm demeanor was a lifesaver in stressful moments. The other staff was equally wonderful. From housekeeping and valets, the wait and check in staff, they were all so polite and always greeted us with a smile. We felt as if they really cared about us having a great experience and the level of service was phenomenal. The Order provided amazing appetizers, serving everything at the proper time and making sure all the food stayed the perfect temperature. No guest was left out and everyone raved about the food and drinks. My husband was very impressed that they were able to order in his favorite non alcoholic beer. Hotel Vandivort went the extra mile to make sure everything about our event came together without a snag. I cannot recommend Hotel Vandivort enough. I refer all of my friends that are getting married to Hotel Vandivort. The level of service cannot be matched and the venue itself is second to none.

The Hotel Vandivort saved our wedding day after our original wedding venue closed because of coronavirus. We had to plan a small wedding at the last minute and luckily rented the Master Suite at the Hotel Vandivort! The hotel not only helped us with early check in so we could decorate but also brought in another fridge for our reception for drinks. The hotel manager surprised us with a complementary bottle of champagne as well! We were able to have 20 wedding guests safely in the Master Suite and everyone enjoyed their time at the intimate reception. We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our wedding day!

Honestly loved having my wedding at the Vandivort; the service was exceptional. From start to finish someone stayed in contact with me and that was phenomenal. It was such a personal touch. I also enjoyed my stay the nights that I was there and the lovely room service. My wedding was definitely a dream come true thanks to the staff and the wedding coordinator. Excellent job!

Beautiful venue and gorgeous ballroom. JT (catering manager) is very friendly and helpful. He was always available to answer questions and offer suggestions. We hit a snag with our room block, but Tessa (room block coordinator) fixed it. The food was amazing!!!
