Facilities & Services Houston Racquet Club has a selection of private rooms that can present the ideal spot for a wedding celebration. Couples can choose from the Ballroom, Bayou Room, Wine Room, Pavilion, Garden Room, and Dining Room. The Ballroom boasts floor-to-ceiling panoramic views of the beautiful Club grounds and has one of the l largest built-in dance floors in Houston. The arched ceilings reflect an ambient glow throughout the room, and an elevated stage presents the perfect spot for entertainment. Imagine a live band playing all night long on the craftsman stage while you, your closest friends, and your family celebrate on the largest dance floor in Houston. The Bayou Room provides a smaller, more cozy spot for celebrations to take place. They can hold events as a standalone occasion or may be customized to host a sizeable event, such as a cocktail hour. The Wine Room has double glass doors opening to a beautiful space with a fireplace and wine racks. The Pavilion has limestone accents and exposed beams that provide a rustic and natural feel. We're beyond thrilled with how our wedding went at the HRC! Karla was so key in helping our dream day come true, she's so compassionate and attentive! The food was exquisite, the service was incredible and our guests enjoyed every minute of the reception at HRC! Very professional, 5 stars and highly recommended!

This is an amazing venue for the reception. I came here in high school for dances and knew it has a beautiful interior. Hettie, the head waiter is fabulous! She always made sure that my husband and I, as well as the wedding party had everything we wanted/needed.

Beautiful space. However our contact changed 3 times in the 8 to 9 months of planning. It was hard to hear that what the 1st contact said would be allowed wouldn't be honored by the 2nd contact. However I still highly recommend HRC!

They take care of everything. You don't have to be a member. I shopped around and it's so the best bang for your buck. Kellie is amazing to work with and the food was great! I am recommending this to all my future brides in Houston.

We were so thrilled with picking HRC for our venue. From the start they were professional and fun to work with. Kellie, the event coordinator, knew what she was doing and was a joy to work with. She was directive and helped us make decisions with her knowledge and expertise. The whole event staff made the wedding day seamless and perfect. Berta and Jarhod were so helpful the day of the wedding and we were thankful for their seamless transitions. Berta was so genuinely concerned when I was sick the morning of the wedding. She offered to massage my head since I had a migraine and brought me mint tea. I don't think most venues would have that kind of customer service. We had the best food at our wedding and we're still getting comments about how much people enjoyed the unique dinner. We had macaroni and cheese, grilled cheese shooters, and mini sliders sandwiches. We had our ceremony and reception at the venue and they did the room transition quickly and efficiently. I have nothing but good things to say about this club. If I could go back and choose a venue again, I would choose them every time. \r

The Racquet Club was the perfect place for our reception. The ballroom has a beautiful, large dance floor and has a great layout. Kellie Stuff, the Catering and Events manager is really great. She always gave us great advice during the planning stages and was very friendly and easy to work with. The best part about the Racquet Club was that the food was delicious and turned out even better on our wedding day than during our initial tasting! The Racquet Club is a gorgeous property and has a covered limestone patio, as well as a brand new wood deck under the trees for those who want an element of the outdoors for their ceremony or reception. We had planned to have our cocktail hour on the deck outside, but the weather ended up being a bit cold and rainy the day of. Kellie let us wait until 10 a.m. the day of the wedding to make a decision on whether to move it indoors or not. The staff handled everything wonderfully and were able to accomodate our cocktail hour indoors with no problem. Overall I would say the Racquet Club is a great value and a very beautiful place for a classic \"country club\" feeling reception.

The manager in charge of the reception hall had tons of great ideas, and was very enthusiastic. The location was awesome to our church, and all the hotels located in the Galleria. The place was very beutiful, and was very spacious.
