Howell and Dragon is a wedding venue located in Dallas, TX. Combining an industrial-chic aesthetic and traditional Dallas touches, this space offers a unique and elegant backdrop to celebrations. The staff are committed to helping you create a spectacular event that allows you to sit back, relax, and enjoy yourself. They provide all-inclusive packages and one-of-a-kind services that ensure a wedding you won’t soon forget. The event facilities at Howell and Dragon consist of a large ballroom that can be customized for your ceremony, cocktail hour, or reception. This hall features exposed white brick walls, glossy floors, wood tones, and delicate crystal chandeliers that sparkle from above. Sophisticated and minimalist, the ballroom has a built-in bar that can be equipped with beer, wine, and cocktails. From here, wooden doors open to reveal a pre-function space set with vintage-inspired furniture. In this luxurious room you can socialize with friends and family and sample hors d’oeuvres late into the night. At over 7,000 square feet, the venue also has two get-ready suites where you can prepare with your wedding party and an outdoor patio. Howell and Dragon is set apart by its comprehensive packages, which include everything from uplighting and pin spots to crystal champagne towers. Along with tables and Chiavari chairs, you can also rent chargers and silverware, monograms for the dance floor, band staging and facades, and cake stands. Catering is provided in-house, as are alcohol packages, which can come with alcohol mist. In addition, a photo booth is available for you and your loved ones to make memories that last a lifetime.

We held a Hallowedding reception at the Howell & Dragon this past weekend, and it was incredible! Everything was horrifically AWESOME and we have nothing but praise for CNC & the H&D staff. Our guests keep gushing about the food and drinks, especially how much fun the cocktail scientists had! We really appreciated the private dinner in the bridal suite. Everything moved so quickly, we would not have had a chance to enjoy the amazing dinner otherwise. Lexi, Brooke and Madison were incredible to work with; every question and concern was addressed quickly, the creative ideas from the team were so fun and very much appreciated. We loved the ideas & food from the chef! They really went all out with our theme and customized the food to us. We have never had caramel apples that good, the char-boo-terie grazing table was so creepy and tasty, and the mac and cheese brisket in the skull cups were perfect.

We recently rented Howell and Dragon for our son's rehearsal dinner. Madison was extremely helpful from beginning to end. This was our first wedding experience and we could not have gotten through the planning and event day without her! The short rib meal was delicious! Booking Howell and Dragon as our wedding venue was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. The biggest reasons we would recommend this venue:- Gorgeous interior and hall. Once our decor and lighting were set up, the hall looked like it came from a fairytale. The uplighting services were adjustable on the fly, so we had a variety of color options displayed throughout the night- The food was absolutely delicious. People may find that the in house mandatory catering is a drawback, but it is so worth it. CN catering also holds a taste testing for your upcoming wedding that I would highly recommend attending. It gives you a good idea on the quality of the food they provide - Communication with our venue manager. Madison was on top of everything we asked her for, and she always made sure we were all on the same page/up to date on any changes that were being made. Overall, it’s a 10/10 from me and my wife. The hall and it’s services are a bit pricey, but you get the best quality and it’s 100% worth it. We had an amazing time hosting our wedding here.

Where do we even begin, we got married on September 9th and couldn't have imagined a more perfect day. Obviously the venue is stunning but what really made our day amazing were the people. Madison, truly was an amazing resource making sure our day went off without a hitch, along with the rest of the CN Catering staff that were there on our wedding day. From helping us get settled to assisting with hanging our neon sign, and everything in between we couldn't have been more pleased. The one thing we have heard from our guests about our day is how amazing the food was, not one person had a bad thing to say. From the mini tacos and meatballs as our hors d'oeuvres, and the main courses, and even the donut bar, all were so memorable, many even mentioning that it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding, and we definitely agree. Thanks again to the Howell and Dragon Staff as well as the CN Catering staff, we know we are so lucky to have a professional, helpful, and friendly group of people to look back on that we can credit the success of our wedding too!

I’ve been to several wedding venues in my life and had the privilege of attending The Howell and Dragon recently. I was particularly amazed at their attention to detail and level of cleanliness. As a business owner we notice these things. The staff was attentive, the linens were clean and free of stains, and the venue was immaculate (even the bathrooms were clean). Then the food….. not your typical wedding food. Chicken was moist and flavorful and I do NOT like chicken, lol. I could go on, but for the sake of time I would recommend this venue without reservation.

Attended a wedding here in late August, the greenery wall in the back of the room is amazing. I had never seen a wedding venue with a permanent greenery wall - truly amazing and different than the little walls I have seen at other places. The food was great too! Hopefully I will get married soon and be able to have my wedding here

SO SO happy I went with Howell and Dragon for my wedding day. It is such a cool industrial building right by downtown in the design district. The staff who works there are experts at what they do and are so knowledgeable/experienced on all things wedding. We used several of their recommendations and could not be happier with our vendors. They also respond so quickly. The wedding day ran so smoothly due to the staff members. They were all so nice and went the extra mile to make the day so special. As we were getting ready in the bridal suite, one of the staff members noticed a champagne bottle and went to go get us a bucket of ice for it without us asking. This venue also is not nearly as expensive as some of the other venues in the area and is owned by CN Catering, which is the best catering company!!! I would honestly give them 10 stars if I could! Go with this venue!!

I cannot recommend Howell and Dragon enough! It is a beautiful space and the CN catering staff is amazing! They communicate with you every step of the way and are very responsive. They were flexible and accomodating and took the necessary COVID precautions to make sure everyone felt comfortable throughout the night. All of our guests complimented us on such a beautiful space as well as how amazing the food was. I am so happy we had our wedding here and cannot thank the staff enough for making our night so special!!

I cannot recommend Howell and Dragon enough! It is a beautiful space and the CN catering staff is amazing! They communicate with you every step of the way and are very responsive. They were flexible and accomodating and took the necessary COVID precautions to make sure everyone felt comfortable throughout the night. All of our guests complimented us on such a beautiful space as well as how amazing the food was. I am so happy we had our wedding here and cannot thank the staff enough for making our night so special!!

They provided all of the essentials like the catering, security, linens, plates, lighting, etc. The only things we had to get on our own was the cake, florals, DJ, & photographer. their in-house catering company is CN catering & the food was absolutely PHENOMENAL! Lexi was a dream to work with & very helpful, especially with all the COVID-19 craziness during planning. I could not be happier with my experience at Howell & Dragon. You definitely get a lot of bang for your buck!

Howell and Dragon is the perfect venue for brides looking for that boho, industrial romantic vibe. It balances the warehouse-y vibe with luxury, and the chandeliers in the ballroom are gorgeous. I could not have picked a better venue. We got married 3/7/2020.Design: this is a beautiful space, that can be dressed up or down to fit your needs. For us, it allowed us to have a beautiful wedding without spending and exorbitant amount of money on florals and décor. Also, the spaces around the venue provide amazing spaces for taking pictures.Layout: the venue has two main spaces – a cocktail lounge and the larger ballroom. This makes it very easy to have the ceremony on site, move everyone to the cocktail lounge for drinks and apps, and “flip” the room from ceremony to reception. The cocktail space is beautiful, with a stunning bar display, and includes three sets of luxe lounge furniture. If you’ve been looking at the styles of venues on Instagram, you’ve probably seen many boho/industrial venues with beautiful lounges set up. However, at most venues, this furniture is not included, so you’d have to rent it at additional cost. At Howell and Dragon, it’s included in the space rental, which saves you $1-2k (crazy, right?) Additionally, the two-room setup gave older guests a place to hang out during the reception, in case they were less interested in the dance floor. Catering: Since the venue is owned by CN Catering, they are your catering vendor by default. This is actually a really good thing. The venue has a kitchen on site, so your food is not being carted across town and then reheated to serve – its being cooked right on site. CN has an extensive menu, but honestly they can make you anything. I know in-house caterers can be iffy for some venues ,but this is not the case with CN. They do plenty of events at other venues as well, so you know they are well respected, fairly priced, and do a good job. One wedding planner I talked to said she recommends them to any bride whose venue doesn’t come with an inhouse caterer, as in her opinion, they are some of the best in the industry, very professional, etc. Accessibility: The venue is all on one floor, and can be accessed via ramp or a short staircase from the street level. Bottom line: if you’re looking for a venue that strikes a good balance between luxe and industrial, stop looking. You’ve found it. The team here is very professional, and you won’t regret choosing them to host your day.

The whole team at CN catering was so amazing throughout the whole process leading up to our wedding day. A special shout out to Lexi, because she was the absolute best. We got so lucky with her! Everyone was helpful and they were always responsive to all of my questions. Aside from the beautiful aesthetic, the food was so delicious and affordable. We’re still reeling with happiness from how beautiful and tasty everything turned out. The execution of the dinner service (plated) was flawless, with fast and friendly waitstaff, and bartenders who kept the drinks flowing all night! I am happy to give them my highest recommendation!

Their exclusive vendors make it so easy for day-of set up and they handle the coordination, so it makes vendor management during wedding planning so much more manageable. I've had friends have to manage separate vendors for linens, chairs, photo booth and catering, which makes it so complex. Just being able to work with 1 contact for all of that made it a breeze.Brooke was our contact and she is amazing! Through the venue we used their catering company CN Catering and literally EVERY guest loved the food options! We got to attend a tasting and were blown away by the tasty options. All of the staff were there to make the event run smoothly and to fit our expectations. We had a very specific vision and did a couple of things out of the box but the Howell and Dragon/CN catering team was on board and seemed excited to help! (custom table numbers, signature cocktails, etc.) We've received countless compliments on the \"beautiful setting\" largely in part to the ephemeral design of this venue. We had a very specific vision and did a couple of things out of the box but the Howell and Dragon/CN catering team was on board and seemed excited to help! (custom table numbers, signature cocktails, etc.) We've received countless compliments on the \"beautiful setting\" largely in part to the ephemeral design of this venue. Artsy, romantic, chic yet industrial- our perfect place for ceremony, cocktails and reception.

This venue was PERFECT for our October 13th wedding. The staff from start to finish was a pleasure to work with - and our guests were in awe over the beauty of the space. The space more than comfortably fit our 150 guests, stage for the band, 3 food stations, and a photo booth - which was a HUGE hit. I can't say enough good things about Howell & Dragon and CN Catering. If you are looking for a cool, new spot in the heart of Dallas for your wedding, you MUST check out this venue.

This venue was PERFECT for our October 13th wedding. The staff from start to finish was a pleasure to work with - and our guests were in awe over the beauty of the space. The space more than comfortably fit our 150 guests, stage for the band, 3 food stations, and a photo booth - which was a HUGE hit. The team at Howell and Dragon was organized, professional and helped to keep our event on track. My event was a gala, not a wedding, but the staff executed our cocktail and dinner wonderfully. The food was great and I received compliments on the venue. Take advantage of CN Catering's food tasting event; it was an ideal way to select a menu. H and D is a terrific space if you need a lounge/cocktail area in addition to a dining room (plus there is a small bit of outdoor space in the front). I would highly recommend.

We were very pleased with both the quality of the venue and the level of service at the Howell and Dragon! The entire layout is beautiful and the style was exactly what we were expecting. The ceremony area set-up was intimate and welcoming with plenty of room to coordinate the bridal party and entrance from the back seamlessly. At the same time, the front bar made for a very comfortable waiting area for guests while the reception area was set up. Throughout the evening, the staff was friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly helpful ensuring that everyone knew where to be and that our guests were taken care of. Couldn’t have been happier with our experience and a big thanks to Tina who made every process simple and for being so accommodating; she was a life saver!!

Howell and Dragon is a beautiful canvas waiting to be painted with your inspiration. As a mother of 6 daughters, it was (far to) easy to envision a wedding, reception or intimate combination of both in this wonderful space. The Groom’s Suite was just cozy enough and I could easily imagine helping my daughters get ready in the spacious Bridal Salon. Of course there are many more uses for this lovely space, but this mother of 6 daughters saw weddings first.

Getting married is a once in a lifetime experience, and Howell and Dragon made my wedding day one that neither myself, my husband, or our guests will never forget. Our wedding was almost three weeks ago, and we still have guests who make comments about how wonderful the food was and how beautiful the venue was. The team at Howell and Dragon made planning our wedding as easy as possible. They worked with our budget and did not push anything on us that we felt we did not need or want. They listened to what it was that I wanted and helped make my dream day a reality. I wanted our wedding to match our personalities, and with the aid of their team and my vendors, I was able to take their beautiful space and make it my own for one full day. The bridal suite is beautiful and fit me, my girls, and glam squad without any issues. My husband and his groomsmen had a great time hanging out in their room as well. The layout of this venue is different from others because it's almost like having two spaces in one. If you want to go hang out in the bar/lounge area and have a drink, it has a different vibe than the ballroom/reception room. My quests enjoyed being able to bounce back between the two areas. If you're looking for a wedding venue that is not only beautiful but amazing to work with, then Howell and Dragon is the place for you! Thanks to them I can genuinely say that my wedding day was the best day of my life and I am truly grateful for that. You won't be disappointed!
