Situated in Austin, TX, Hudson Bend Ranch brings you destination weddings set on the private, gated estate of software entrepreneur Steven Ray. Our three day packages include lodging for twenty, ceremonial site, and reception facility in a natural ranch setting. We cater to those couples that wish to spend extended time with family and friends. Thirty minutes from downtown and fifty minutes from the airport, we are conveniently located, yet very private. Our gardens, wildflowers, native grasses, and water features offer a peaceful retreat with many photo opportunities. Beauty and tranquility abounds throughout. Giant oaks and a reliable breeze offer a respite from the Texas Sun. We are best described as a cross between the Austin Botanical Gardens and a working Texas ranch. Come see us.

My fiance and I fell in love with Hudson Bend Ranch as soon as we stepped on the property! Steven was a great host and was super flexible with everything we envisioned for our day. Unfortunately, some things have happened with Covid and we have decided to not go the route we attended with Hudson Bend. Steven was kind and understanding, and flexible with the refund. Fully recommend hosting your wedding or event here, its beautiful! We will definitely try and get back out there later on.

My fiance and I fell in love with Hudson Bend Ranch as soon as we stepped on the property! Steven was a great host and was super flexible with everything we envisioned for our day. Unfortunately, some things have happened with Covid and we have decided to not go the route we attended with Hudson Bend. Steven was kind and understanding, and flexible with the refund. Fully recommend hosting your wedding or event here, its beautiful! We will definitely try and get back out there later on.

Hudson Bend Ranch gave us our dream wedding experience. Steven, the venue owner was so cool, communicative, and responsive. The grounds were well kept and felt like a botanical gardens. The ability to stay the night on-site is truly underrated and it added to our wedding weekend experience. Truly beautiful.

Hudson Bend Ranch gave us our dream wedding experience. Steven, the venue owner was so cool, communicative, and responsive. The grounds were well kept and felt like a botanical gardens. The ability to stay the night on-site is truly underrated and it added to our wedding weekend experience. Truly beautiful.

This venue was absolutely amazing. It was priced fairly for all that it offers. My husband and I got married two weeks ago there and our family and friends are still raving about how beautiful it is. Our families came in from Odessa, Houston, Los Angeles and San Diego so we wanted an AirBnB that could double up for an outdoor ceremony… this was everything we could’ve dreamed of and more! There’s so much greenery, it felt so magical being there. We made so many great memories here aside from our wedding day. Janet and Steven are wonderful, diligent and good people. Make an appointment to see this place, you will not regret it.

Where do I start in describing the incredible memories we had at Hudson Bend and the privilege it was to have Steven as our venue owner?We live in the northeast and planned our wedding largely from afar. After seeing photographs of Hudson Bend online, we fell in love and knew it was the right setting for the destination wedding we were envisioning.Our celebration took place in June 2022. It was a truly magical experience. It's hard to describe in words how serene Hudson Bend is. There is something so intimate, beautiful, sublime, and unassumingly dignified about the gardens and grounds of this sanctuary. One of our guests literally commented: \"It's ethereal here.\" The gardens are so lovingly curated and well-taken care of yet maintain an authentic, natural essence that allows it to serve as a sanctuary for songbirds and hummingbirds. On the morning of my wedding, I sipped coffee while watching the hummingbirds feed! What a gift.Steven, the owner, is the hardest working venue owner I could imagine. He is incredibly patient, helpful, a problem solver, and clearly had our best interests in mind every step of the way in planning. We had to reschedule our wedding multiple times due to the pandemic and travel-related constraints. Steven was extremely patient and accommodating to our multiple delays and rescheduling requests, never making us feel rushed while we tried to find a date that would work for our busy schedules as the bride and groom and that of our loved ones who were traveling from across the country and internationally. He was extremely responsive--always answering our spontaneous calls and texts. More than that, he went above and beyond in helping us set up for our event. He literally broke a sweat for us, helping move items that we needed set up in different places around the grounds. On a few occasions, he communicated with our vendors on our behalf and helped them with their set up (averting a vendor cancellation). We are so grateful to him for being such a calming presence, so patient and understanding, and for being someone we could trust. He truly was like a friend rather than just a vendor.I highly recommend Hudson Bend Ranch as your wedding venue. We hope to travel back one day to once again enjoy the serenity of this beautiful place

As soon as we saw photos and description of this venue, we knew this was the place for us. We wanted to host our immediate family who were all coming out of town in one space for our Wedding. We rented the space for 4 days. With only 40 guests, including ourselves, we wanted to make it feel as intimate as possible. This venue gave us just that! It also gave us the flexibility to do with the space whatever we envisioned for our big day. Steven was very welcoming, kind, and accommodating from the beginning. We would highly recommend this place, not only for a wedding, but for a family reunion or getaway.

Hudson Bench Ranch was everything we could have ever hoped for in a wedding venue. We had to postpone our main wedding this year due to COVID so we were looking for a venue to host a micro-wedding with our close family and friends. We wanted a location where we could do everything on site and HBR delivered on every front. Steven, the property manager, was the perfect host and was in constant contact with us before we arrived and made sure that we had everything we needed when we arrived. There are so many beautiful locations on the property to do the ceremony and we held the small reception outdoors after the ceremony was over. We cannot say enough good things about HBR and would strongly recommend anyone looking for a very high quality venue to give it a shot.

Hudson Bend Ranch is one of, if not, the most beautiful venues in Austin, Texas. My fiance and I consider Hudson Bend Ranch to be one of our favorite places in all of Austin. You couldn't make a better decision. Hudson Bend is beautiful and comfortable, and Steven is an absolute pleasure. It is so unfortunate that we had to cancel our wedding here because of the current Covid-19 climate. Having said that, I still needed to leave a review because of how great Steven was. My fiancee and I booked the place for three nights of lodging for our families, with our wedding reception and ceremony to take place on one of those days. Steven truly cares about your special day and is very quick to respond to any questions or concerns you may have. We went to the venue a couple of times to plan and coordinate, and everything about this place and Steven just was a great fit. There was nothing to stress about here. I hope to one day book this place again and have a nice relaxing weekend with family on the property. This is a first class venue for your wedding, do yourself a favor and check it out.

Wow! I can't say enough good things about the Ranch. We had a small wedding and the venue was perfect. We were able to have our out of town guests stay with us for 3 days. The grounds were beautiful and the owner Steven couldn't have been more helpful and responsive. It was only a few miles from my house but I felt like I was in a garden paradise. The grotto like bath is one of a kind. The price was very reasonable and we were able to bring our own food and drink. I highly recommend this venue. You can visit before booking. We will definitely be back for future family gatherings.

Steve, thank you for the wedding of our dreams!! Our wedding was absolutely perfect and Steve played a huge role in making that happen. Not only is the venue already GORGEOUS, Steve is very involved and goes the extra mile to ensure it's everything you want! All of our friends and family loved the venue and loved Steve! I didn't feel stressed out about anything when it came to the venue, because Steve takes care of all those little details so you can relax. He's the absolute best! We highly recommend Hudson Bend Ranch for your wedding venue or next get away! Book before someone else does, trust me you don't want to pass this place up!

We could not have asked for a better venue for my daughters wedding! Besides the accommodations for many of the guests, the grounds are meticulously maintained and absolutely beautiful. With the wedding in May, the wild flowers were in full bloom just adding to the magical event. And the owner, Stephen, was by far the best host one could ask for. Continually going out of his way to make everything just right, we couldn’t have asked for anything better. If you are looking for a more nature based venue for any event, this would be my first pick hands down. You won’t go wrong choosing Hudson Bend Ranch!

Hudson Bend Ranch is a hidden gem in the hill country outskirts of Austin! Washed over with a sense of calm relaxation the moment you enter the ranch gates, the land will make you feel like you’re in the secluded wilderness. The main house is beautifully constructed and blends seamlessly into the surrounding trees with thoughtful, wild landscaping. It’s expansive and accommodated my large group of guests perfectly with plenty of room to relax indoors and outside. The front porch and courtyard was a beautiful place for us, protected by the sun in the daytime and picturesque in the warm evening with all of the string lights. The barn was adorable and felt like a nice change of location from the main house and guest house. Overall, the entire ranch has outstanding accommodations for all types of groups and provides a gorgeous backdrop and ambiance hosting guests.

Hudson Bend Ranch is truly one of the most beautiful natural landscapes you can find in the Austin area. The five acres of this ranch are covered with enormous tree canopies, overflowing vines and lush vegetation, and tall grass and wildflowers. The lush background and quiet atmosphere is a perfect setting for any event. My guests loved Hudson Bend Ranch and the fact that there was plenty of room for the entire group to stay there for an extended weekend. I would recommend Hudson Bend Ranch without hesitation.

My newlywed wife and I just had an amazing weekend at Hudson Bend Ranch. We were just over the moon about how lovely it turned out. You can easily host the whole family for a small wedding or just have the wedding party there and have everyone else out for the wedding. The mornings were beautiful with birds chirping and the smell of jasmine. The grounds are lush and green this time of year, can't wait to see the photographers photos. The casaita was secluded and separate and was the perfect place for the ladies to get ready the day of the wedding. We are looking at having a family reunion here next year we loved it so much! Don't think twice about having your event here!

Meet the Hudson Bend Ranch Team
Steven Ray (Owner) Hello, I am blessed to be the steward of Hudson Bend Ranch. It is home to many species of wildlife, tons of wildflowers, and 150 year old oak trees. We are non toxic and respect nature's beauty by using sound environmental principals. I began my hosting career with Airbnb and quickly became one of the top listings in the Lake Travis area. We grew into the wedding business through shear demand, after people viewed our photos. I enjoy meeting new people and sharing this treasure. No one has ever left disappointed.
