Planning a wedding is an incredibly overwhelming and stressful process. But once my now husband, my parents and I found HVCC we knew it was the place for our wedding. Kelly and Julie were incredibly attentive to any.. and all.. of the questions we had. Such an accommodating and welcoming staff that helped make our wedding planning process smooth and our wedding day truly the best day ever imaginable. It exceeded every wild dream or expectation we could have had for our wedding. The food, drinks and event space were truly remarkable and our guests all agreed! And the backdrop… an added bonus to our day! Thank you for bringing our dreams to reality!

Hunt Valley Country Club was stunning, amazing, cozy, flexible, and everything else you can imagine. They worked with us closely to bring our big day visions to life. They customized our entire wedding to fit us. They provided details we didn't even know we wanted or needed. The entire team was incredible and made you feel like family. The views, the ceremony area, and the reception area were stunning. Everyone is still bragging about the big day and I wish I could relive it all the time. I highly highly recommend Hunt Valley Country Club!

Kelly, our event and day-of coordinator made the entire process seamless from start to finish. She is amazing and I was so impressed with how my wedding turned out, especially because I do not consider myself to be creative and I hate planning events. Kelly was so detail oriented and kept me on track with the coordination pieces, provided vendors, met with us regularly, etc. My husband agreed that the event would not have been the same without her! I highly recommend choosing from their list of preferred vendors as they are familiar with the venue and what works/what doesn't work. Even with last minute changes and requests, they were so accommodating and understanding. All of the staff were so kind and helpful throughout the night. The day was so perfect for us, and our families and friends had so much fun!!!!Thank you Kelly and Hunt Valley CC for an AMAZING evening!

From the moment we first spoke on the phone, they were such a pleasure to work with. We had so many compliments from guests about the beautiful views and the delicious food. Our photos on the golf course turned out beautiful as well. The entire events team at HVCC did an amazing job for my daughter and son-in-law’s May wedding! Kelly, the event coordinator, was incredible! Her professionalism, attention to detail, and communication made everything fall seamlessly into place, allowing us to be stress free and enjoy the day! The food was phenomenal, the bar was well stocked and flowing all night, and the wait staff was very attentive to our guests needs. I highly recommend having your wedding at HVCC

I could not recommend Hunt Valley Country Club more as a wedding venue! From start to finish, Kelly was so responsive and helpful in answering questions, helping in the planning process, and making sure the wedding day went perfectly. The planning process never felt stressful because of the amount of support and guidance that Kelly and her team gave. The venue is beautiful, the food was INCREDIBLE (just about every guest commented on how amazing their meal was), the views are stunning, and the teamwork that everyone provided from start to finish made this an unforgettable experience.

Hunt Valley Country Club was a phenomenal venue to host our wedding. The entire process was incredibly simple and the staff was very supportive throughout. The staff on our actual wedding day were great and very accommodating for all of our requests. I highly recommend others to use them as well. The food was great too and many of our guests said it was some of the best they had ever had.

We enjoyed our wedding with HVCC so much! Our coordinator, Kelly, did such a nice job both leading up to our big day and throughout our reception. The food is the best we've had at any venue, the view from the reception hall is incredible, and the staff is extremely attentive. We highly recommend considering Hunt Valley for any celebration, whether for a wedding reception or otherwise.

I highly recommend Hunt Valley Country Club as a wedding venue! The whole entire staff was accommodating as I had to reschedule events due to a COVID scare and being an out of town bride from Colorado. The venue was absolutely beautiful and the food/beverage packages were reasonably priced. I worked with Julie Fahey, Kelly Shearer, and the wedding banquet captin, Jeneane. All three women were amazing at helping me plan the wedding of my dreams as well as making sure everything ran smoothly the day of. I have heard nothing but praise from my wedding guests as well about the staff at the venue.

My wife and I had an amazing time at Hunt Valley Country Club! It is a gorgeous venue with luxurious ambience. Julie Fahey and Kelly Shearer helped us throughout the wedding planning process. Quality of the service is top notch, and we think they went above and beyond to make our wonderful wedding happen smoothly. They are very responsive via email (difficult to reach by phone). They are very professional. At the wedding, Kelly and Jenine, along with other HVCC staff, helped us so much with the event order to make sure everything happens perfectly. Jenine would give us the appetizers right after the ceremony so that newlywed couple and wedding party are not starving. She also helped with busheling the wedding dress, and checked on us often to make sure we are okay. Team worked together to make sure all the wedding decorations are ready on time and made it more impressive than what we expected. I definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking to get married in the area!

The team at Hunt Valley Country Club hosted an amazing wedding reception for us in September. We had a wonderful time and it was truly a dream come true. Our whole vision came to life. The staff, food, drinks... everything was perfect! Julie helped us plan everything leading up to the event, and Kelly ensured that everything ran smoothly on the day itself. We even ordered our cake through them because they have a partnership with Sugar Bakers Cakes. This made that process easy and it helped that we want to use this bakery anyway since they are one of the few in the area that could make our wedding cake Smith Island Cake flavored! (Highly recommend using this perk. The cake was delicious!)Janine kindly drove us around the course on a golf cart to take photos--my husband actually remembers meeting her when we first toured the venue last Fall and she was so welcoming and sweet. The views are spectacular and the space is very inviting and somehow cozy, even though it can host large weddings and events. We truly loved working with this venue and can't say enough positive things about the whole experience. We have received so many compliments about the reception from our friends and family. Wish we could do it all over again!

Hunt Valley went above and beyond for my wedding day. There was a huge storm a few days before my wedding, causing the venue to lose power. The venue rented massive generators for me so I was still able to have my wedding. They also rented an ice cream truck when their machine wasn't working. They made our wedding day so special and personal to us. We would recommend this venue and team to any bride looking for an amazing wedding team/venue!

From the moment we entered HVCC, we knew it would be the perfect place to host our ceremony and reception! When we first starting looking at venues, HVCC was the clear winner. The staff was kind-hearted and fantastic listeners. It felt like they cared about what we wanted and were honest about how we could build our ideal day with them. Their professionalism and care were astounding, the food was DELICIOUS (we had many compliments throughout the evening), and the views were incredible! The HVCC staff were so accommodating with all of our requests and they were easy to reach via email. They helped us create and execute our ideal day, and so, we highly recommend this venue!

We absolutely loved everything about our wedding at Hunt Valley Country Club! Julie was our event coordinator and she absolutely killed it! Every little detail was thought about and she asked all the right questions to make sure everything would go smoothly on the day of the wedding...from the wait staff to the bar staff we had such great care and service throughout the entire day! The food was soo delicious (we had over 20 guests compliment the chef because their meal was so tasty!!), we had a raw oyster bar, fruit & cheese displays, passed appetizers and the option of filet or French boned chicken for the main meal and OMG the best Parmesan risotto ever, like I asked for some to take home!!!! Overall, the staff was so attentive to us (bride and groom) and everyone left with a full a belly, smiling, and reminiscing on how beautiful of a day it was and I can't thank HVCC enough for all their hard work!Julie was absolutely AMAZING! She was super attentive and paid attention to every little detail (I'm an all about the details kinda bride), responsive to all of my random questions along the planning process, asked so many good questions I didn't think of, and most of all made us feel completely comfortable letting her run one of the most special days of our lives!!!

The entire planning process with Julie and Hunt Valley Country Club was so great and easy. Julie was there any time I had a question, which was often. She set up all our pre wedding meetings like the food tasting and details meetings. The day of, the whole wedding party got ready there which made the day go by as smooth as possible timeline wise. Any decorations that we brought, the Hunt Valley Country Club staff set up for us and the day came together so easily. The views were beautiful and our guests couldn't stop talking about how great the food was. When we had our tasting, the food was unbelievable but we were definitely skeptical because we had a pretty big group coming and it is hard to make food for so many people. This wasn't a problem for the Chef at Hunt Valley Country Club, the food was so good and people reached out to us after to let us know how good it was. We were able to leave things there when the night was over and pick it up the next day with no issues. My day couldn't have gone any better with Julie and Hunt Valley Country Club, I am so happy we picked them!!

My husband and I got married at HVCC on 4/23/22 and it was the best day ever. Julie and Jeanine were so attentive, detail oriented, organized, and most of all caring. From booking to final goodbyes, every single second was magical. Not a single thing was stressful and everything was beautiful.The decor was perfect for spring.The food was raved about by all guests. And the scenery made for the perfect photos. I keep hearing from guests how this was the best wedding they have ever been to.Julie -- thank you for listening to all my last minute ideas and helping them come alive. Its hard to envision something you have dreamed about forever when you are putting it down on paper. But to see how it all came together in the end was truly amazing. Jeanine -- thank you for being the sweetest! I trusted you with every detail nd you perfected them. You made me feel so relaxed and I appreciate that more than you know. I can not thank HVCC enough for being the best venue ever! I could not have asked for a better day.

We could not recommend Hunt Valley Country Club more!! We absolutely fell in love with this venue the minute we stepped inside. We toured in the winter time and even though all the trees were bare, it was so beautiful. We knew the views on our April wedding day would be so special. Everyone was so incredibly kind, thoughtful, and helpful. Julie, the wedding coordinator took such great care of us from start to end. All of the staff on the day of the wedding were so friendly and treated us so well. They made sure everything was perfect from our decor set up, our food, and making sure we always had a drink in our hand. So many of our guests said how our wedding was one of the best they have ever been to and we definitely credit that to the incredible venue and people at Hunt Valley Country Club.

Hunt Valley Country Club was the perfect venue for our wedding! The entire planning process was stress-free and our wedding day was AMAZING! The main ballroom is beautiful - you can't beat the view of the golf course. Guests raved about the food and the crush bar (many said it was the most fun wedding they've been to!)I can't say enough great things about Julie, the events coordinator. She was super organized and full of great ideas to make our day special. It rained the entire day of our wedding, and Julie and the HVCC staff organized and executed the entire event indoors seamlessly. We also got ready for our wedding with our bridal party at the venue and the whole day was tons of fun. The hair and make up crew loved the natural light in the ballroom, and the staff was attentive to all of our needs. I truly can't recommend HVCC enough!!

HVCC was great before and during our wedding! Julie was able to accommodate our last minute changes and requests. Julie and Jeanine were awesome and just so nice! I felt like they were just as excited for our wedding as we were. Jeanine decorated everything beautifully! Our sweetheart table for the reception was decorated so uniquely and beautifully. The food was SO good, our guests raved about the food. We had the roasted chicken and salmon options, our guests couldn't believe they got a full chicken for their meal!It was a great day!

Working with Julie at Hunt Valley Country Club was an absolute joy! We had started out with a wedding date in December of 2020... Well, we all know how that turned out for so many couples. Hunt Valley worked with us to give us a new date and honored details of the contract we had signed the previous year. Julie walked us through all the little details and choices, and was endlessly patient with all of our questions and changes that were made. The week before the reception, Julie was in touch with us almost every day with reminders or questions or answers to our questions. The day before, she was there for us to drop off our reception decor pieces and set up the entire space ready for the florist to come in and put the beautiful finishing touches on the space. During the reception, Julie was there with her staff making sure my new husband and I had everything we needed and making sure the guests were well fed and happy. The chef at Hunt Valley is fantastic!! The food was top notch and prepared perfectly!!It was a beautiful reception. Unfortunately, my father was suffering from a kidney stone, and had to leave before the reception. Julie made sure Dad's meal was packed up so we could take it home to him and still enjoy it. I would recommend Hunt Valley, Julie, Janine and their staff to anyone looking for a comfortable, cozy feel to celebrate any occasion with family and friends. It was a beautiful venue, and a wonderful evening.

I would give this venue negative stars if I could. I had my wedding here last week, and I am writing this review to warn others NOT to come here. I could write a book on all of the complaints not only I have, but that my wedding guests have shared with me as well. The venue is absolutely beautiful, but the staff is just embarrassing. -It was my understanding from Jillian, the events manager, that she would be my point person for the day of the wedding, and that the staff/coordinator will set up the decor, decorations, cupcakes, centerpieces, etc. None of that happened. No one was present for the first two hours that my bridal party was there. I had called Jillian when we arrived, and did not receive a response- but did not have anyone greet us, or tell us what the flow of the day would be like. This caused a lot of confusion. By the time 3pm came around, my bridal party was rushing and setting up the centerpieces and table decor because nothing had been done by the staff as of yet- with only two hours until the ceremony start time. The \"wedding coordinator\" role for that day was absolutely nonexistent. Right before the ceremony when someone from the staff was trying to help, (the catering manager she called herself) broke several of my vases. Shattering 3 large tall hurricanes, and several of my gold votives I brought. Jillian resurfaced at the time of my ceremony to assist with the bridal party line up. Several people were looking for her throughout the reception, and when one of my bridesmaids went to her office to find her, and seek her assistance, Jillian was SLEEPING. Unprofessionalism to the nth degree. Let's continue.-Next, I would like to touch on the bartender Paula. She was soliciting herself as a medium trying to get my wedding guests to pay her for a \"psychic service\". She was taking shots behind the bar, and by the end of the evening was visibly drunk and inappropriate. One of my bridesmaids said to her, oh wow you're allowed to take shots while working? Paula's response was that no one was watching and there aren't cameras, so she can do what she wants. She was sloppy, making inappropriate comments, and even jumped in a photobooth picture with my husband, bending down, opening her mouth towards his private area. I had higher expectations for your staff. Especially at a wedding that consisted of high caliber doctors and lawyers- we were embarrassed.. to say the least.-The dinner during the reception was chaotic, like the staff has never done this before. There was a full table missing chairs, where the guests were standing eating their salads until I could flag down someone to bring this to their attention. Then the table next to our sweetheart table didn't receive any food until after everyone was already done eating.. again, I had to flag someone down to ask why that table still had yet to receive their meals. The catering manager lady was frantic, telling people they ran out of food. Ran out of food?? How is that possible when not only did they have an exact count of meals to the tables, but we should have even had extra because of guests that were unable to attend.-Which brings me to my next point, Jillian had told me that any meals that we paid for, for guests who were unable to attend, we would be able to take with us. I had a whole table of 8 guests not attend. Not only had I asked for this food several times, but Jillian was nowhere to be found to assist with this issue. -- All this to say...STAY AWAY.

We worked with Jillian throughout the planning process. From our very first tour of the venue, she felt like one of my bridesmaids. She was so genuine and excited and ready to help us with anything we needed. Jillian really sold us on the venue because we knew it would be perfect with her help. The mountain/hilly view that the venue offers with its large windows was a big part of our vision. The amazing food was a big plus too. We loved that they also took care of the cake and of course linens/tables/etc. We had the best day and all of our guests had similar sentiments and great experiences! Thanks HVCC!

I cannot say enough positive things about the staff and venue of HVCC! We had to reschedule our wedding THREE times due to Covid and HVCC honored my original contract and pricing from the beginning and worked with me on deciding new dates and what the best decision for us would be. Jillian, the event coordinator, was an absolute PLEASURE to work with. Literally felt more like a friend relationship than a business one! ALL HVCC staff were adaptable, friendly, flexible, open and honest from day one. The venue itself is STUNNING. You cannot ask for a better view. My husband and I and our guests had the absolute best night of our lives and we would not change on thing in regard to HVCC. 10/10 stars any time any day!!!! GET MARRIED HERE!

My wedding day could not have been any better! The team at HVCC is everything you could ever want! Jillian is absolutely spectacular and Jeannine has an eye for detail! Everything I could ever want was taken care of, they moved all my details throughout the night to make sure they were always seen. The food was absolutely the best, and the ballroom was breath taking. Every guest in attendance was in awe of the view and the ballroom. If you are looking for the perfect wedding venue, equip with ceremony/ reception space , tables, chairs, table cloths, flatware, glass ware, etc. This is the place you need to be! I can not say enough amazing things about HVCC. If I could award them 10 stars, I would!

The Hunt Valley Country Club delivered the perfect wedding for us this past June. Exchanging vows on a beautiful summer day with the club's breathtaking backdrop was priceless. We loved having the outdoor & indoor venues available to us. Outside ceremony and inside reception offered the best of both worlds. Even the outside sparkler send off to the limo was a nice finishing touch.We are thankful for Allie, Cayla (day of coordinator), and the entire staff, for having gone above and beyond every step of the way. For all the detailed planning that's involved, I'm still amazed at how smoothly everything went.

Hunt Valley Country Club was absolutely beautiful! Allie and her team really helped us to coordinate everything that we needed for our day. She was very responsive to all my questions, helped us to feel comfortable, and was so essential throughout the entire process. The food was absolutely amazing! The drinks were great (my crazy wedding party will attest to that!). The chief and Allie really worked within our budget to make sure we were able to have the best food and best service! The golf course and wonderful trees were beautiful for photos. The tent for the ceremony was intimate and spacious all at the same time. The reception area was lit with beautiful candles and wall to floor windows! HVCC allowed us to be at the venue from the early morning to be able to set up, decorate, and get dressed there. The food was in house (which is a BIG PLUS), the event was 4 hours long, and the wait staff were amazing! Besides working with great people at HVCC, the intimacy of the entire venue made you feel so close with your guests and able to celebrate with them throughout the busy day! We cannot thank HVCC and the staff enough for EVERYTHING they did for us. And, thank you Allie for all your help!

HVCC was nothing but amazing from the first day we came in to tour the venue to the few days after our wedding when we picked all of our decorations up. Allison was extremely attentive and helpful with all of our needs and on the day of her and her staff made sure everything ran smoothly. Besides the logistics, HVCC is a gorgeous venue with an amazing view (which was honestly why I wanted to book them in the first place haha!) The food they cater was AMAZING and all of our guests continue to compliment the dinners and hors doeuvres. We couldnt be happier with the experience we had there and would recommend them to absolutely everyone!

Our food for the cocktail hour came out 30 minutes late and our reception meals came out an hr late. Bartenders were good as well as decorations. I definitely do not recommend this venue.

Hunt Valley Country Club was the absolute perfect venue for my wedding! We met with Anna in August 2017, and her charm and knowledge immediately made us feel at ease! She showed us all around the beautiful venue, which includes floor to ceiling glass windows encasing three of the four walls in the newly renovated reception hall and overlooking the well-manicured and maintained golf course and pond, a gorgeous wood bar area, updated carpeting and beautiful chandeliers, tasteful décor, a rather large wedding party room (for the wedding party to get dressed, eat, drink, and de-stress inside throughout the day), beautiful bathrooms, and of course, a huge tent and balcony overlooking the golf course, under which we got married on June 29, 2018. As if that wasn’t enough to make us fall in love with the venue (it was), Anna walked us through all they were willing to offer, including discounts for a Friday wedding, all linens – and they have a huge array of color choices – silverware, tableware, and glassware, and they also provided us with many options for our dinner and cocktail spread. We loved having so many choices, and the fact that the pricing was extremely affordable gave us the ability to add more, such as an open bar for guests. Our tasting was amazing; everything was delectable, and Hunt Valley Country Club even took care of the cake and centerpieces for us! \r\rSeriously, Hunt Valley Country Club is an amazing, classy, elegant establishment, and the perfect venue. It is a one-stop shop, and the only vendors I needed to go outside for were the DJ, photographer, florist, and photobooth. And on top of all this, Hunt Valley Country Club also included a day-of-coordinator, Emily, as part of our contract. Emily was fantastic! She and Anna sat down with us and went through a huge checklist so they knew exactly what was needed and what we expected a month ahead of time (plus, they kept in constant email contact with use throughout our engagement—from August to June). Emily also put together the floor plan, double checked all linen colors and floor spacing, determined our timeline, ran us through our rehearsal, verified all our planned decorations, and had us bring all our decorations up two days in advance. Emily and her team then decorated the entire venue for us – making the decoration aspect of the wedding completely stress free for me (and then they packed it all back up for us and had our decorations waiting for my family to pick up the next day)! I was so impressed! Emily even pinned all the boutonnieres and corsages on our wedding party!\r\rTo be honest, Emily, Anna, and their team are the reason my wedding day was perfect! There wasn’t one issue nor one thing I would change; I’ve heard from many brides that their day didn’t go exactly as planned, but mine went exactly as I envisioned, and I 100% owe that to Emily and Anna. They were superb and fantastic, and I highly recommend them and the Hunt Valley Country Club! Do yourself a favor and contact Anna to see the venue. You won’t be disappointed!

My husband and I got married at Hunt Valley in June and they completely exceeded our expectations. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful which is what initially drew us to it, but the staff really is what made our day perfect. Anna and Emily were so helpful and patient in the process leading up to the wedding, recommending vendors, helping with the timeline, answering all of our questions, etc etc. And the day of they made sure everything went smoothly and kept everything on track- we didn’t have to worry about anything the entire evening except being with our guests and enjoying ourselves. The food was really good too and there was a staff person who checked in on my husband and I to make sure we ate and drank. We added an extra hour to our package which I would recommend to everyone- the night absolutely flies by! We cannot thank Hunt Valley enough for making our wedding day so perfect. You will not regret booking your wedding here!

The Hunt Valley Country Club provided me and my husband with the poorest customer service we have had so far in our search for a wedding venue, and it was even before we booked with them. This unpleasant experience only demonstrated how badly they conduct their business and how much they do not value new customers. I first heard about this venue through the website knot.com where this venue was highly rated and so I had proportionally high expectations. I also liked the visual of the place so emailed them requesting more information about their services and prices. They didn’t take too long to get back to me with a word.doc filled out with all the information, services and prices. That was helpful because most venues do not give out so much information at first so I emailed their private events director on a Tuesday asking when on Sunday would be a good time to meet. She answered back, and we both agreed that 2:30 pm on Sunday was the best time to meet. I made plans around this meeting because this venue is located 1 hour and a half away from my house. We rearranged our entire weekend to accommodate this appointment. However, when Sunday arrives she emails me at 10:34 am from her personal email cancelling our meeting without even giving us a justifiable reason or trying to reschedule. I was already disappointed, but I answered back asking if it would work for her if we pushed back our meeting by an hour or so. She sends back a dismissive email repeating word by word of what she stated previously, that she needed to take her “puppy” to the vet. I found her emails very unprofessional but decided to give this another try by asking if there would be someone else at the venue who would be able to take us around for a tour. I also explained to her that we lived far and that we had made arrangements to be able to travel to Phoenix, MD just to visit the venue. The conclusion is that it has been five days and the private events director, Anne Kable, hasn’t responded to my email. Communication has been inconsistent making this experience even more unsatisfying for us. Unfortunately, the person who was designated to deliver an outstanding first impression, in fact, provided a very negative and unfriendly first impression. As a bride, I want to trust 100% in the venue I will book for our wedding. I don’t want to have the slightest doubt about the place I choose to host my wedding. Ultimately, I hope that things work smoothly on my wedding day and that it will be the happiest day of our lives with as little unpredictable things happening as possible. The Hunt Valley Country Club definitely do not seem to be suitable since they were unable to take us through the first and most basic steps. I hope this review helps other brides in their venue decision.

Our wedding at Hunt Valley Golf Club was amazing from our first venue visit to the very end of our wedding. The ceremony space is great because it allows you to be outside but the venue has a tent so that you are shaded from the sun or protected from the rain. The view out over the golf course and surrounding area is stunning! There are many spaces to get beautiful pictures amongst the trees and by the pond. The incredible staff quickly transforms the ceremony space into cocktail hour while guests find their seats. The reception space is beautiful with large windows along three of the walls looking out at the amazing views! Worried about finding vendors for linens, food, etc? Here you do not have to worry because everything is included! You get to choose all of your linen colors and help design your seating chart. The food is incredible and we had a hard time choosing our favorites at the tasting! Our guests were very pleased with the service, food, and accessibility. \tThe staff at Hunt Valley Golf Club are all amazing! They were so helpful the day of our wedding and were there whenever we needed anything. They are all so kind and professional we cannot imagine having our wedding without them! Marissa is the Private Events Director and she is AMAZING!!! From start to finish she was always there with a smile happy to answer any question that we had and help us in any way that she could! We had our rehearsal at Hunt Valley Golf Club and Marissa ran us through exactly how everything would go! It made us and the bridal party feel relaxed the day of the wedding because we knew exactly how everything would run. The day of the wedding she was there from start to finish to help in any way she could! She helped us drive people in golf carts for pictures, coordinate with vendors, and be there to assure us that everything was running smoothly! We cannot say enough about how wonderful Marissa is at helping to plan a wedding! We could not have had such a wonderful day without her!

My husband and I just got married here at HVGC on June 11 and I was completely blown away with this venue. I cannot think of anything negative that day except a little wind, which was no big deal. The view was enough in itself, the club overlooking the golf course and the beautiful floor length windows in the hall just made for the most beautiful photos. Everyone was very helpful and made sure everything was going great. Through the entire planning process I had Marissa by my side and she was AMAZING. She was very responsive to my emails and made sure that everything was ready before the wedding. She even helped me come up with some ideas. The day of Connie was there and she also was GREAT! She would occasionally come check on us to make sure we didnt need anything and she coordinated with our DJ to make sure our timeline was moving. We did not have a single worry the entire day. It really was the wedding of our dreams and I cant thank HVGC staff enough for everything :) P.S the food was also amazing!!!

My husband and I got married here on May 14, 2016. Our expectations were completely blown away! First off, the venue is absolutely GORGEOUS! Sunshine or rain, the venue has one of the best views in Maryland and the room is so perfect for any wedding. There is plenty of space for guests, the layout is ideal, and the dance floor is very spacious. I got so many compliments about the view and everyone loved how they could go out to the balcony or patio as they pleased. Secondly, there is Marissa, the coordinator at HVGC. She is FANTASTIC! We literally did not have to worry about a thing. She was always on top of it; especially the day of. It did end up raining when we were supposed to have our cocktail hour outside and Marissa used her judgement to move it inside without causing any issues. My family and I didn't have to worry about a thing on wedding day. She was also great to communicate with leading up to the wedding. There were times when I would start talking and she could finish my sentence. She is amazing at her job! Lastly, the food is DELICIOUS. The appetizers were perfect and everyone raved about the steak and cake. The filet was cooked perfectly and one of the best crab cakes I've ever had. The bar also did a great job at serving all of the guests. There were never long lines or anything. We also noticed how delightful all of the servers were. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding reception venue!! Cannot thank HVGC and Marissa enough!!!

I would absolutely recommend HVGC as a perfect spot for a wedding ceremony and reception. Our wedding was 9/4/2015 and it went better than I could have imagined. The venue coordinator, Marissa, is amazing to work with- she's responsive, friendly, experienced, and went out of her way to make sure our day ran perfectly. Throughout the night, she was continuously checking up on me and my husband to see if we needed anything and didn't even give us a chance to stress over anything. The week of the wedding, we dropped off all of our decorations, talked about where we wanted everything, and Marissa & her team did the rest. We showed up on the wedding day and I was in awe with how beautiful the room looked. Our wedding day was extremely hot, so our pictures on the greens didn't last too long, but while we were down there, the golfers were extremely friendly and made sure not to get in the way. The view from the patio and reception area is breathtaking! I can't say enough great things about our wedding day, and I truly owe it all to Marissa and her staff. Awesome venue choice!

My husband and I recently got married at HVGC and could not have been more happy with how everything turned out!! Aside from the club being absolutely beautiful with the most gorgeous views from the reception hall, the staff was amazing. Everyone was extremely helpful and made our wedding beautiful! Katie knows what she is doing when it comes to putting together an amazing wedding. She laid out the day for us by the minute so we did not have to think at all and we could just enjoy the day! We were originally supposed to have our cocktail hour outside after the ceremony, however the wind was a bit much and Katie moved everything inside and even put together extra tables that looked beautiful inside! The staff was amazing! Everyone loved the bar tenders who were super friendly! The wait staff was great, they made sure my husband and i were able to eat something. I would highly recommend having your wedding at hunt valley golf club! They were fantastic!! We would have another wedding there if we could!

I had my wedding at Hunt Valley this past April and it was amazing! Our ceremony was held outdoors overlooking the golf course with the most gorgeous view. The reception was held inside but maintained the breathtaking view through the floor to ceiling windows. All of my guests raved about the food and the service provided was great. Everyone working there was very professional and happy to help. Our coordinator Katie deserves a round of applause for her work! She was there every step of the way answering all my questions and working out all the details with me. She made sure everything was perfect on the day of our wedding and I didn't have to worry about a thing! I would highly recommend this venue for those who are looking for a one of a kind location and an unforgettable experience!

My daughter and son-in-law were married at the Hunt Valley Golf Club in the spring of 2014 and this venue was perfect. It is as layed back or as elegant as you want it to be. The kids had an outdoor ceremony on the covered terrace with a beautiful view of the valley and the reception in the adjoining hall. \r\rThe service was great, Katie and the rest of the staff very professional, and the guests all raved about the food that was served in stations with service staff to help. \r\rMy daughter works for an area country club and does wedding planning herself so her expectations were pretty high - Hunt Valley was definitely up to the challenge. Thank you, Hunt Valley and Katie,for helping to make my daughter's wedding an awesome day.

My wife and I got married at HVGC on September 7, 2014 and had 125 guests. We saved a ton of money by having the wedding on a Sunday but that didn't prevent people from celebrating our special day with us. We received a ton of complements on how beautiful the venue was and how great the food tasted. Katie was an exceptional wedding coordinator. She kept all of our vendors on the same page and kept everyone to a schedule on the wedding day. We didn't have to do anything except enjoy our day. Katie and her staff even set up all decorations and favors which allowed my bride and I to get ready and not stress about making everything perfect at the venue. Katie gave us the ability to be flexible with our wedding package and even catered to the food allergies of our guests. HVGC was definitely the best bang for our buck and the most beautiful venue we found!! It had everything included and we were able to customize our day to make it perfect!! I HIGHLY recommend this venue to all future brides...you won't regret it!!

Hunt Valley Golf club has everything that you need for a perfect wedding. The location and event space offers room for all of your guests and also amazing photos to capture your special moment. I was lucky to get married in October so with all of the window views we had the leaves changing color and the perfect sunset. We got married October 24th and our family and friends are still talking about how perfect everything was. Katie made my day so flawless from placing everything, organizing it to making sure that my husband and I had the perfect day. As we were planning the wedding she was very responsive to all of my questions and was helpful and made my process go smoothly. Our wedding was the dream wedding I always wanted and I am so thankful for the venue, location, the food, the family and friends all thanks to the smooth planning that Katie did to make my day everything I wanted!!

We did both our ceremony and reception on site at Hunt Valley Golf Club. It was wonderful! (And our pictures on the golf course couldn't be more beautiful!) From the time we first looked at the venue all the way up to picking up our things after our big day, HVGC was excellent. Obviously, being the bride, I felt like I had lots of attention from the staff on my wedding day - but come to find out, everyone felt like they had lots of attention from the staff. The food kept coming at the cocktail hour and people felt like the wait staff was attentive. I have received tons of compliments on the food and view. Obviously, no wedding is perfect - so here are some things I think I would change - apparently, at the cocktail hour, instead of opening up the inside bar and outside bar, only the outside bar was open, and the line was a bit long (we had almost maximum capacity, in all fairness). We paid extra to keep the outside bar open the whole night - so there was def. three bartenders around - not sure why the inside bar wouldn't be open to? I never liked the carpet inside the reception room – but when you have that beautiful view – you can get over the carpet. What I loved most about HVGC was working with Katie Stephens – she was organized, kept my vendors in check, and made sure I wasn’t bothered by anything on our day. She always answered any questions I had and was open and honest about the venue the whole time. I never felt like she said something to get us to book there that wasn’t true – you can really appreciate that because there are so many decisions going on for a wedding that you want your vendors to be upfront and honest – and she always was. Why did we pick HVGC? The view for sure, but it was also the packages – they were lovely. Compared to other places around Maryland, I felt like we got a lot of bang for our buck – from the appetizers to the premium bar– all very easy to pick and more than what we ever expected to have (our guests were def. impressed with the choices at the bar). I wanted an in-house caterer (because why mess with an additional vendor if you don’t have to?), and HVGC was just perfect for us. I would def. recommend you checking HVGC when looking for a lovely wedding location. We were thrilled!

All my experiences with Hunt Valley Golf Club were overall positive. The venue coordinator was very organized, professional, and helpful. I am an extremely organized bride, and if I hadn't been, it would still have been okay because she took care of everything. She even saved my appearance two times during the big day.\r \rThe golf club was one of the most beautiful ones I've ever seen. The wedding reception was held in a beautiful room, with a gorgeous bar and balcony. The view from the balcony was amazing, which was right next to where the ceremony was held.\r \rThe food we picked was great, especially the appetizers which were very popular. The only thing I would say is my meal was a little different between the trial tasting and the wedding, but delicious both times.\r \rBecause they had followed my instructions so well, everything with the venue really went perfectly. The venue coordinator Katie, the manager Jake, and the golf club itself made my experience awesome! I would totally pick them again if I had to do it all over.

The venue was perfect. I chose to have a Sunday wedding with the reception at the Hunt Valley Golf Club as a brunch wedding. I had no clue what went in to planning a wedding reception so working with Katie was a God-send! Although, I fretted over how the reception would turn out if I wasn't personally there to set things up, the staff did an amazing job! Katie was so helpful through the entire process and was always quick to answer my 1001 questions. All my guests raved about the view and the entire experience. I will definitely use them again for any big or small event!

We recently had our wedding reception at HVGC on July 19, 2014. From the very first day I visited the venue I fell in love and knew I wanted my wedding there. The views are incredible and the large glass windows that surround most of the reception room make the large space seem even larger. We worked directly with Katie Stephens from day one. She was full of energy, professionalism, attentiveness, creativity, and vision through the entire planning process. I knew that she and her staff would set up the room and execute my reception exactly as I had requested. It was beautiful. Furthermore, all of our guests commented about how beautiful the venue was, how great the staff was, and how wonderful the food was. Our guests all said that the appetizers were delicious and then even the meal (which you would think would be difficult to serve 159 plates at the right temperature and flavor), was amazing. We chose to serve filet mignon and rum BBQ shrimp. The presentation on each plate looked like we were eating at a five star restaurant and the flavor of the food felt the same! Katie gave us great recommendations for other vendors that we used to help make our day perfect. We cannot thank Katie and the staff of HVGC enough for all of their hard work and professionalism that helped our wedding to be one of the bests! We would absolutely recommend the HVGC to anyone looking for a wedding venue.

We had an amazing reception at Hunt Valley Golf Club for our 5/10/14 wedding! The venue is beautiful and a perfect combination of covered outdoor space for cocktail hour with indoor and air conditioned space for the reception. The views are spectacular, the food was delicious, and the staffing/ flow of the event were excellent.\r\rWe had a large wedding with many of the 150+ guests traveling from out of state, including many picky New York guests, and EVERYONE had nothing but positive things to say about the venue, the food, the service and the whole reception. Not one person had anything to critique. We had a great time and enjoyed every part of the golf club!\r\rKatie. their event coordinator, was easy to work with in coordinating planning and very flexible. She made accommodations for some cultural foods my mother in law wanted to bring in, allowed plenty of time for set up, and was happy to help with special requests. If I were to get married again, I would book this same place!\r\rI am very picky (and had some even pickier guests!) and Hunt Valley absolutely met all of my standards. The only things that could have been improved would be with the assistants helping Katie and their professionalism. We ended up having pouring rain and no rain plan for pictures, so had to take photos at the reception venue. Hunt Valley was kind enough to let us take pictures, but the assistants helping were quite inexperienced, rude, and kept rushing us from place to place. In addition, we kept getting told to \"get out of the way of the members\" which was a bit off putting. In Hunt Valley's defense though, the picture taking was not planned and they were kind enough to accommodate our last minute request. In addition, once I requested to not work with the assistants further about timing details they worked with my planner as I requested.\r\rKatie was great, the food was very tasty (and they were very flexible), the location was gorgeous, and it was amazing overall!

My husband and I were married on May 30, 2014 at HVGC. I have to say that throughout the entire process, Katie, the Banquets Director, was incredibly responsive, friendly, and helpful. I had a number of specific unique requests regarding the day, and she was very accommodating with all of my ideas. Our wedding also required a lot of set up, and so we had our rehearsal dinner there the evening before, which allowed our vendors the time to get in and transform the room. We couldn't have asked for better food or views - I mean, really, you can not get a better view indoors than the room at HVGC. Additionally, the proximity of the patio and tent to the main room and dance floor was so convenient and made it really easy for all of our guests to enjoy what they wanted to, while still remaining part of the party. I never want to get married again, but Katie and the staff at HVGC make me wish I could relive our wedding day at LEAST a few more times - what a great day!

We got married on May 18, 2014 at HVGC and almost everything went off without a hitch! Katie and her team were so helpful and thorough throughout the entire process that on the day of, I did not have any worries. Katie knows exactly what she is doing and will provide plenty of time and advice for first time brides and grooms. I was never one of those girls that had planned my wedding from the age of 12 and really had no idea what to do when it came to my wedding. I am so glad that we went with HVGC because everything turned out so well, and I had a lot of guidance. We had 75 guests for a Sunday wedding and it was absolutely the best value for everything! You must ask about Friday and Sunday weddings because HVGC does a really good deal and we were on a budget! For just one day of festivities, and having just closed on a house, we did not want to break the bank any more than necessary. The ballroom is beautiful, the only thing I didn't like was the carpet, but I didn't like any of the carpet at all the other venues we looked at either. The only hiccup we had was that one of my bridesmaids had made a video for them to play and I think she may have had it in the wrong format or needed it on a CD or something and so no one got to see it. Also, we did not know that you cannot wear your heels on the greens so prepare for that! Our pictures are turning our wonderfully and everyone said they had a fantastic time! Katie's team made sure that everything was on time and that we had what we needed (we even had the chance to eat!) Our guests are still commenting on how beautiful everything was. I loved that we got a great value and it didn't look cheap! A huge thank you to Katie, her team, and HVGC!

My husband and I had our reception at the Hunt Valley Golf Club and to say to was AMAZING would be an understatement. From the day we just looked at the site, from the day after we picked up our belongings, the staff was nothing but AWESOME. Kate Stephens is the coordinator and she really worked with us to make our special day PERFECT! She walked us through step by step to ensure we didn't miss anything. I decided to make my own centerpieces and add decorations, along with countless other handmade items; Kate helped me put together all of my decor and centerpieces. She was such a HUGE part in making our day go off without a hitch. Kate left during the reception and had her assistant take over towards the end of the night, and she was just as helpful and professional as Kate. \r\rI can't thank them enough for all of their help. All of the guests raved about how tasty the food was, and how beautiful the scenery was at the site. They did an excellent job making us feel like we were their only clients. \r\rOur pictures turned out beautifully as we took them out on the golf course, and they will be cherished for years to come. This review is a long time coming. My husband and I had our ceremony and reception at the HVGC and it was absolutely beautiful. The views are unbelievable, the space is wonderful, the food was great. One of the best parts about HVGC was working with Katie. I still cannot get over how wonderful she was. I’m a bit of a control freak, but I totally trusted Katie to handle everything, which is exactly what she did! We planned our wedding in less than 6 months, and Katie was an enormous help throughout the process. She responded to emails quickly, offered great suggestions, and recommended wonderful vendors. On our wedding day she kept everything running according to schedule, and coordinated all the little details that I would never have thought of. I’m so glad that we decided to have our ceremony and reception at the Hunt Valley Golf Club.

I can't say enough good things about my wedding. I got married on September 22, 2013. We had our ceremony and reception at hunt valley and I wouldn't have chosen any other venue. \rNot only is the view spectacular, but the food is delicious and the staff is so professional. All of me guests couldn't stop complimenting me on my wedding day. \rPersonally, I couldn't imagine planning my wedding with anyone besides Katie. She truly cared about my vision and helped me stay under budget. I felt like she was just as passionate about my wedding as I was. She is the sweetest person and made my day go by perfectly. I was sad when my wedding was over because I no longer got to spend time with her. I encourage you to look at HVGC for your wedding and meet with Katie. I promise you won't regret it!

I had my wedding reception at the Hunt Valley Golf Club this past June and was absolutely thrilled with the venue and staff. When I first went to check out the venue, I was immediately impressed with the gorgeous, open room and the full length windows which provide the most amazing view of the golf course. I could instantly imagine my reception there and all the great photos that could be taken with the grounds in the background. But what truly sold me on this venue was the wedding coordinator, Katie. Katie made the entire processes from initial planning to the day of the wedding completely fun and exciting and not stressful at all. She is responsive, attentive, more than qualified/capable and just a fun person to plan your wedding with. She contacted all the wedding vendors to confirm delivery/set-up and she set up all the reception decorations for me the day before the wedding. She by far exceeded my expectations. She was honest when you asked her opinion and gave suggestions based on her experience without forcing her opinion on you. The food was great and the staff made sure we kept to the timeline so I didn’t have to worry about any of that the night of the wedding. There wasn’t a flaw in the entire night and my husband and I were able to just enjoy our reception and party with our friends and family. We received so many compliments on the decorations, venue and overall experience from our guests. I can’t thank Katie and the staff at the Hunt Valley Golf club enough for making my wedding day and night truly amazing and unforgettable. :)

This place was gorgeous. We did both the ceremony & reception here. My only complaint is that during the time we were doing photographs They had put hors'doeuvres in the bridal suite & no one told us. None of the bridal party got to eat any of the hors'doeuvres. I also would have liked if they would have packed it up for us to take with us since no one ate any of them. Overall I loved this place. Everyone was very nice & easy to work with.

The moment I saw the view at Hunt Valley Golf Club, I was in love! This is a picture perfect place for a wedding and the fact that you can have your ceremony there was a huge plus for us. The wedding coordinator that is provided is a HUGE added bonus! Katie was great to work with, as she was always quick to respond to calls/emails and offer a helping hand with ANY questions that we had. She is with you throughout the whole process to help pick table linens, your menu, and pretty much help coordinate your day for you with all of your outside vendors. She was flexible with my many changes, was always friendly & upbeat, and she was on top of things the entire time. On the day of the wedding, everything was set up exactly the way I wanted it, the bridal suite was full of drinks and food, and the food for the guests was AMAZING! Katie & the staff at Hunt Valley made the whole day run smoothly, which allowed me to sit back and soak in the best day of my life!

The venue is beautiful and a perfect spot for a summer wedding, HOWEVER the service was much less than acceptable. The wedding planner rushes you and does not pay attention to the small details that are very important to brides. Make sure you have a copy of your menu because we did not get the food we PAID for the day of the wedding. Also after salads were served it took 1HOUR for the meal to arrive. This takes away time from the reception and other activities that should be going on and following a schedule. When this was brought to the managers attention, he was very rude and disrespectful in the matter. He was claiming that I was \"over reacting and embelishing\" the issues. When you spend thousands of dollars on your wedding, you want it to be exactly what you were told you were going to get. Please don't make the same mistake that I did and use this venue for your once in a lifetime celebration.

My husband and I were married at The Hunt Valley Golf Club on Friday, April 5, 2013! This venue is absolutely beautiful! We had our ceremony outside on their deck under a white tent with the golf course as a back drop. It was beautiful. We worked with Katie Bunce and I cannot tell you how many times I would have lost my mind without her help. She made everything so easy for us! She is the best! The week of our wedding they were calling for rain on our weddind day, and I was freaking out. When I talked to Katie she made sure that we had a plan in place in case it did rain, and assured me that everything would still be amazing, we would just have to move things around a bit. She coordinated with my photographer to set up a \"first look\" for my husband and I. The day of our wedding after Katie left, Mike was in charge of our reception and I just love him! He made sure I had everything I needed, he let me know where I needed to be and what time, and even pulled an apron out of thin air when I told him I forgot one for our apron dance! He was amazing! The bridal suite was full of drinks and food when we arrived before the ceremony, and after we were married the staff continued to come in to make sure we didn't need anything before the reception. They made our day feel so much more personal that they took the time to pay attention to every detail that I would have never thought of. The staff packed up everything for us so nicely so that my in laws could pick up everything the day after the wedding. Everyone told me prior to the wedding that something would go wrong inevitably, and not to let it ruin our day. But, NOTHING WENT WRONG! It didn't rain a single drop and everything was set up just how I imagined! Our day was beyond perfect, and I know I owe a lot of that to Katie, Mike, and the staff at The Hunt Valley Golf Club. I cannot thank them enough for everything that they did, they are an incredible venue and I would not have changed a thing!!!

Had an awesome wedding with a budget of $10000 with ~100 guests. The view is amazing from the reception site (especially if you are to get married in the late spring or summer). Plenty of parking. Katie, the event coordinator, is great. She's good at helping you make decisions because she's direct and knows what looks good, etc. Mike, the banquet manager, is very professional and friendly. The room set-up looked amazing. Decent dance floor space. The room can hold up to (I think) 180 people, but I liked that the room wasn't too packed with the # of guests we had at our wedding. The dinner food, unfortunately, was mediocre (i.e. it wasn't as good as it was when we had tried it at the tasting). Thankfully, we had amazing desserts to make up for mediocre dinner. In terms of cost, HVGC was the most reasonable place we were able to find outside Baltimore City - partly because we chose to get married outside the typical wedding season.

I chose hunt valley golf club online because of their stunning floor to ceiling windows. I lived out of state at the time and sent my fiance to meet with the event coordinator Katie and we skyped our first meeting with her so I could see things also. She was very accommodating with the odd circumstances and from there we basically booked the wedding. Katie helped with any questions I had along the way and the food tasting was absolutely wonderful. They do require a minimum amount used for the wedding so be prepared to add extras to make up the amount if you have a smaller wedding, but the extras were worth it in my opinion. \rThe weekend of the wedding was great because we were able to do the rehearsal the night before and the day of I was able to come in and set up everything the way I wanted even though the staff would have gladly done it for me. While I was there the staff was extremely courteous and complimented me on all my decor. I truly enjoyed every minute of being at the venue. The wedding was great and they have many options of having the ceremony outside or inside along with the cocktail hour. They had everything I would need including the cake serving tools and the champagne flutes.\r\rI would definitely recommend hunt valley golf club and the staff that works there including Katie the event coordinator.

The elegance of the ballroom, the ability to have our ceremony onsite and the beautiful scenery made it an easy decision to hold our wedding at this site. They were attentive to our needs and ensured everything was perfect for our wedding day. We have received nothing but praise for the venue, food and service from our guests.

My fiance and I looked at several venues and ended up choosing Hunt Valley Golf Club because of its rural yet convenient location, ample parking, scenic views and overall quality of the reception areas. The 270 degree view from the floor to ceiling windows was magnificent, especially when the sun was setting while everyone was eating dinner. The cocktail hour, which was held outdoors under the canopy, was very nice. Katie Bunce, the event coordinator, was very friendly and accommodating; she kept in contact with us through the whole process. Katie offered us many options for table cloth colors, center pieces, etc., at no additional cost. After the wedding reception, we received many compliments on the location and the overall quality of staff that made the night so memorable and special. The food was also very delicious and was presented well by the cooks and wait staff. The staff was even thoughtful enough to put a cover on our meals to keep them warm while we talked with guests around the room during dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed having our wedding reception at Hunt Valley Golf Club and would recommend it to anyone.

Hunt Valley Golf club was a beautiful venue for our June wedding. Despite the thunderstorms, the venue still was beautiful as well as the view. The food was delicious and was even better than our tasting. We were able to do alot with the reception room to make it even more elegant and gorgeous. Katie, the wedding coordinator was approachable and always responded promptly to our calls and emails. When situations arose, she did her best to fix them and make sure we were happy. She also made sure to coordinate all the vendors so that I did not have to worry with that the week of the wedding. There were a few issues during the wedding planning process that caused a little bit of stress. When we first signed our contract and met Katie, we were told our rehearsal would be the night before the wedding (as most rehearsals are). However, when we started planning our rehearsal dinner last July, we were told that they could not guarantee us a date until the month before the wedding. Since we had alot of out of town guests, this was not going to work for us. Katie worked with us to end up having the rehearsal the Wed before the wedding, but I felt that this should have been brought up during our initial meeting when I asked about it. Another issue that was not brought up in our initial meeting, was regarding the sides to the tent. When we first met at HVGC, we were told that if it rained or stormed they were able to put sides on the tent. However, it was never mentioned that the sides to the tent cost approx. 2000.00 and would be up to us to rent them. Of course the day of the wedding, it was scheduled to thunderstorm at our ceremony time. Katie did a wonderful job of finding the sides at a cheaper rate (800$), but I still felt like that should have been mentioned when we asked about the sides at our meeting. Finally, at the reception some of our guests received the wrong food. When my father called to question the venue the next day, he was told it was because the guests asked for something different. Regardless of if this happened or not, I felt like someone should have went to my father to ask if this was okay. Instead, they served different meals and ran out of fish so some people got food they didn't like. This was frustrating to me because I spent hours putting everything in excel and organizing everyones food so this would not happen and I feel like if they were going to serve different food to people who they claim changed their minds then they should have asked the person paying the bill especially if they knew they only had certain number of each amount of food items and that would impact the entire food flow. However, Katie was very understanding and even gave my dad a free round of golf and discount on some items because of this happening. Despite these issues that arose, Katie is wonderful and does everything to make sure your day is special. She is organized, responsive, and if I were to do it all over again knowing the issues that came up I would still have my wedding at HVGC, I would just be aware of the things I didn't realize initially when I signed our contract as mentioned above.

We looked at many venues online before narrowing down a handful to go see. We ruled out a couple based on décor. We were really leaning toward one based on price and overall vibe. The last venue we went to was Hunt Valley Golf Club. We met with Katie, and booked that day. We found everything we had been looking for. We knew we wanted an outdoor ceremony, with some kind of back-up plan in case of weather. We knew we wanted an indoor reception where guests could flow outside if they wanted to. We both liked the country club/golf club vibe, so when we saw HVGC it was the right fit for us. The ceremony space is outdoors but covered, so there was no need for a back-up. We knew we’d be out there rain or shine (the weather was perfect that day). All the guests talked about pretty the venue was inside and out. The greenery was so serene, just like we wanted. I didn’t have to add any decorations for the outside because the backdrop was so green and gorgeous. Katie was so helpful through everything. She made you feel like there was nothing to worry about because she is so competent at what she does. She was very flexible with us on submitting info and dropping things off to her. I didn’t use a florist, we ordered flowers and dropped them off the day of. I told her how the centerpieces were to be set up, and she did them. She was great to work with. The staff was so polite and personable. When I was in the bridal suite before our intro into the reception one of the ladies was back there with my bridesmaids trying to get my dress bustled because they were having so much trouble with it. The food was delicious, everyone enjoyed their meals. Oh yeah, and my groom got a free round of golf too. We could not be happier with how everything turned out.

I was married at Hunt Valley the first weekend in June. Everything was just perfect. The food was amazing and the service was wonderful. Katie really makes sure that everything goes perfect for the wedding. I wasn't stressed at all knowing everything was in her hands. She really knows what she's doing. The wall to wall windows is what sold me on this place. The room is huge and you don't have to shimmy through the chairs to get around. If you like views great food, and great service, then this is the pace for you!

As mother of the bride, I was very focused on the details of the wedding. I remember at the food tasting thinking \"this is really good... I wonder if it will be just as good on the wedding?\" But I must tell you, IT WAS!!! All the food arrived to each table hot, fresh and perfect. Our guests had a choice of filet, chicken chesapeake or vegetarian. My brother said his steak was delicious and so tender. The view from the ballroom overlooking the golf course is breath taking. The event planner, Katie, couldn't have been more knowledgeable, professional, and willing to work with any and all ideas I presented to her. I must also complement the waite staff. They were available should someone need additional service. I was a bit of a crazy mother-of-the-bride that day, but both Katie and Mike, the banquet manager, were exceptionally patient and eager to aid me in my efforts to have the best wedding I could execute for my only daughter. I highly recommend this venue, the staff, the event planner, the food (bravo Chef!) and the scenery were great. Oh, one other thing, I have smokers in my family (sad to say) but along the window side of the ballroom was a balcony that ran the full length of the ballroom and overlooked the golf course. The Club has cafe tables with chairs spread along the balcony. They allowed smokers to go out on the balcony and smoke outside. This was perfect, because you were not running all around trying to locate people, because you could see them thru the window or just open a door out to the balacony and you could see everyone. They lite tiki torches in the evening which gave it a nice touch. The wedding was an absolute BLAST... thank you everyone who helped make my daughter and new son-in-law's wedding so, so wonderful. It is worth checking out!

I recently was married at the Hunt Valley Golf Club and couldn't be more pleased with our selection. It actually rained on my wedding day and Katie and the staff were more than accommodating. They let me wait until 15 minutes before the ceremony to make the call on whether or not to have it inside and when it started to pour they put everything together for the ceremony on the dance floor in no time. They also had waiters carry around drinks from table to table to prevent a huge line from forming at the bar during cocktail hour since we couldn't have it on the patio. Even inside on a rainy day, the view of the golf course from the floor to ceiling windows is amazing and it was as close to being outside as we could get on that day. The food was absolutely delicious and many of our guests said that it's the best they've had at a wedding thus far. We had a fantastic time and are both so happy we chose Hunt Valley as our venue. Thanks to Katie and the staff for everything!

Katie Bunce the wedding coordinator was fantastic. She has the process of weddings done to a science. She will ask all of the right questions to make your day perfect! Hunt Valley Golf course is absolutely beautiful and you don’t have to be a member to have your event on their property. My pictures look like post cards. The food was great; everything was prepared and tasted exactly like it did on our tasting night. My husband and I had our wedding and reception at Hunt Valley. The options are on the patio ceremony or on the dance floor but both have amazing views, so if it rains, there is no disappointment. I had absolutely no complaints and would absolutely recommend to friends and family. Thank you Hunt Valley Golf Club and Katie Bunce! Sincerely Maria

Our wedding was March 17th of 2012, we couldn't have asked for a better day. During the planning over the last year Katie made our experience stress free. The location is perfect with the wall of windows showing the rolling hills of tree's to the outside patio and walkway. The food menu had a lot of great options to choose from. There is always a concern that the fantastic food you taste at your tasting won’t be what you have on your wedding day but the food was delicious. \r\rIf you’re looking for a venue with a fantastic planner and a beautiful scenery this is a must see venue. \r.

The scenery is absolutely beautiful at HVGC. The food was delicious as well. The staff took excellent care of us. I recommend this venue to anyone who is interested in value, scenery, and service.

Overall wonderful venue. Katie was very good in doing her job. All was as it was suppose to be. Service the day of the wedding was a little slow. Skipped one whole table when delivering meals. And just a note. When you have signed up to have a room till a certain time, they shouldn't be taking table cloths off etc. until your time is up. Drinks were taken from tables while people were dancing. Didn't like that.
