Wish I could give ZERO STARS. I got married here July 22nd 2023. Where do I start. They changed venue locations on us 3 times due to water damage, second due ants. Not sure how this wasn’t known until the day of the wedding… I argued with the rude female workers there the entire night because they were rude to our guests and wouldn’t serve me or my groomsmen before the wedding. They told us there was a TWO BEER MINIMUM per groomsmen for beer before the wedding… They also ran out of alcohol about an hour and a half into the wedding. For the money I you spend here, you’d be happy to save your money and go elsewhere. Do not book here if you want to have a fun wedding. If it was not for my friends and family this wedding would have been ruined due to these greedy jerks. Stay away from this place. Reviewed on 23-11-2023

The gardens know how to do weddings. From start to finish they are professional and kind. My favorite thing about working with them was how helpful they were on my actual wedding day. I feel like it’s rare to hear brides talk about someone driving them around in a golf cart and bringing mimosas to their bridal suite. The team at the gardens is fantastic. Reviewed on 23-10-2023

Ashlynn was great! The venue was the perfect backdrop to a beautiful wedding. We had our ceremony in the Carriage House, used the conservatory and Grand Hall lobby for cocktail hour, and had the reception in the Grand Hall. All of our photos were taken outside, so the flowers were in full bloom for our September wedding. The only think I would change would be the ability to have a 15 hour rental period (we had the venue from 9:30am - 11:30pm). We would have been a little pressed for time before the ceremony is not for our planner keeping us on track. I believe we could have paid for the extra hour, but it we were already over budget. I also wish we could have brought in our own alcoholic beverages to get ready in the morning. We had to pay a pretty penny to get mimosas in the room. They have a liquor license, so I understand the restriction, but there weren't that many of us and the room wasn't that large. It would have been easy to keep an eye on us.Overall, I would recommend HSVBG because the beauty of the grounds and the available venues inside was unmatched! Reviewed on 16-10-2023

Daniel Conway(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 15-04-2023 Huntsville Botanical Gardens Carriage House was the perfect location for our wedding. The staff was friendly and prompt, one staff member, Lauren, was particularly amazing and helped the day run so smoothly! The weather of course, helped enhance the venue tenfold. Our guests loved touring the gardens and seeing the newest art installations. We appreciate all the staff for helping our day be as beautiful as their garden! Highly recommend! Reviewed on 17-04-2023

Briana Hamilton(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 30-05-2020 The Garden was very accommodating to meeting our downsized needs once we realized the 250-person wedding we were planning wouldn’t be possible due to COVID. They worked with us to deliver a smaller more fitting package that met our needs for 25-30 guests and refunded us all the rest. It turned out to be a beautiful day and the indoor/outdoor accommodations were the perfect backdrop. My husband and I were very pleased with the outcome. Reviewed on 09-08-2020

All things considered (COVID-19, reduced guest number, etc.) we could not have asked for a more beautiful venue or accommodating staff on our special day. I would 10/10 recommend the Huntsville Botanical Gardens! Reviewed on 25-06-2020

Katelyn Sides(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 25-08-2018 Obviously the venues are gorgeous. But you cannot use the bridal suite until your 10 hour rental BEGINS! As in, my stylist has to come to my house at 8 am to start on the girls then move all her stuff at noon to the bridal suite. There is NO REASON AT ALL why brides cannot use a small room to get ready in when they paid OVER 5K for the place!!!!!!!!! Staff there is alright. Like 6/10. Reviewed on 28-11-2018
Danielle Bean(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 08-10-2011 Cindy was great about answering questions in a reasonable amount of time. The customer service was fantastic, and when she was unavailable there was another person lined up (LeAnn) who was just as wonderful and helpful as Cindy! We held an evening wedding, and they were even kind enough to extend our reception an hour later than they typically do - Thank you! Reviewed on 25-10-2011
Yelena Nance(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 24-04-2010 No doubt, Huntsville Botanical Garden is beautiful all year around, and if you are on the budget you will be able to afford it. However, there are some renting stipulations that may complicate your wedding planning and result in more expense. First of all, you can rent outside area only in conjunction with indoor facility. Second, if you choose to have your reception outside you can’t use venue’s furniture, which means you will have additional expense of renting tables and chairs, as well as a tent. Third, should you decide to have your reception inside you will be limited as far as decorations goes. You are not allowed to use nails, pins, clips, etc. It is pretty difficult to hang or attach anything without those items. Forth, you are prohibited to supply your own alcohol. All alcoholic beverages must be provided by the venue at twice as much price as it would cost you otherwise. Hence, you have to hire venue’s own bartender and pay for thier services. And last, if you do choose to have alcohol, you will have to have security that is provided by the venue for the additional charge, as well. Reviewed on 02-07-2011

Maria Oldham(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 18-09-2010 This is a beautiful place to have a wedding, (we had our ceremony at Telledyne Terrace and our reception in The Arbor) but it was a bit more expensive than we would have like for just the venue. The outside area connected to The Arbor was not included in the rental, although no one else would want to rent that area while you were having a wedding. Overall, it was really amazing! It was all I wanted, aesthetically! Reviewed on 15-10-2010
Julia Gilbert(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 23-05-2010 LeAnn and Caroline were absolutely wonderful to work with! They were so helpful in coordinating times to meet with my vendors and determining when they should arrive on the big day! I paid for extra time that I didn't use, and they sent me a refund check without me even asking! The location is absolutely beautiful and is perfect for pictures of any kind! Also, the price was extremely less expensive than the other available places in town. Reviewed on 25-08-2010
