We had many guests stay at this hotel and attend a welcome reception here the Friday night before our wedding. The reception was fine - although the orders weren't exactly as we had requested, but the wait staff were incredibly rude to our attendees that night in the bar, the valet service \"lost\" (i.e. most likely stole) a very valuable military keychain from our uncle who had served, and charges were randomly added to my mother-in-laws room even though she had no part in the expense. The hotel is expensive with only valet options, small rooms with traffic keeping you up at night, and destination fees that give you nothing worthwhile in return. I'll never stay at a Hyatt again after my experience here. Luckily, everything else was absolutely perfect with the wedding, but I'd recommend staying at the nearby Riverside Hotel. We wish we had.

We planned a last minute wedding and needed a block of rooms, at an affordable price, for our out of town guests. Our wedding venue was a 5 min walk from the hotel, so we hoped it would work out. Brianna in sales could not have been more helpful, friendly and on top of everything! She secured us a block of rooms and was very quick in her replies so we could lock it all in. We stayed there for our wedding night and she put the sweetest surprise of champagne, chocolate covered strawberries and a thoughtful note in our room. Brianna also helped us reserve a section for a causal dinner the night before the wedding, at the Harborwood Kitchen in the lobby. It was AWESOME. The staff went above and beyond and the food and drinks were excellent. All of my guests could come and go as they pleased and were able to pay for what they ordered easily. I can't recommend this hotel enough, either for hotel blocks or a short stay. It's close to the action on Las Olas and is so beautiful and comfortable, you won't want to leave.
