A hidden gem on Boston Harbor! There are so many great things to say about the Hyatt. First, the view is outstanding! Seeing the Boston skyline lit up over the water at night was the perfect backdrop to our wedding! If you want a city wedding but with more flair, this is your spot!Next, the staff! Stephanie Lento is amazing and made sure we got every little thing we wanted at our wedding and all throughout the planning process! She answered all of my ridiculous stressed bride questions and always made me feel at ease. Additionally, all of the event staff that helped us throughout the wedding weekend were professional, kind, and efficient! Finally, the food! The Hyatt food is AMAZING - we still have friends and family raving about the cocktail hour and reception food. Everything was hot, fresh and cooked to perfection! Highly recommend the Hyatt! They have amazing wedding packages, beautiful views, wonderful staff, a wonderful hotel and more! Reviewed on 25-10-2023

The view from the hotel is unbeatable and the wedding team there is just exceptional. Stephanie made the process incredibly easy and stress free for us from start to finish. Her attention to detail is what every bride wants and needs. Having everything under one roof was incredibly convenient for our guests, many of whom were from out of state, and everyone was impressed with the accommodations on site. The bridal suite and groom's room made the getting ready process on the day of our wedding a breeze. Everything flowed so nicely from one ballroom to the next for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Everything went so perfectly on our wedding day! Highly, highly recommend this hotel! We immediately fell in love with the venue on our first tour. The moment we saw the hotel, the harbor and the views of the city, we knew it was where we wanted to get married. The wedding planning process was made so easy by everyone!! We had a few different planners throughout the process, which I was a little worried about at first. But, Stephanie took over our planning a few months before the wedding and she was flawless. She knew all the details we had previously discussed and knew exactly how to make our dream wedding happen. It has the best views of Boston, a gorgeous outdoor tent that makes you feel like you’re not outdoors at all, a lovely indoor ballroom, an outstanding staff, and just top notch service every step of the way!My husband and I were originally planned to be married in June 2020. We had 2 postponements to our final wedding date of October 2021. The Hyatt, and more specifically Joan, showed support, patience, and flexibility in every interaction we had. I can only imagine the complexity of shuffling so many weddings so feeling like we were the only one and being met with that type of human touch was so appreciated. When it came closer to our big day we had the absolute pleasure of working with Ashlynn as our wedding coordinator. Ashlynn made our planning simple and fun and made sure everything important to us was accounted for - and more importantly that the things we hadn’t thought of were accounted for! On the day of she kept us all under control and on schedule which is no easy tasks for a bridal party of 18. She is just amazing! One last thing to point out is the honeymoon points benefit. The benefit, along with a World of Hyatt credit card can go a long long way. My husband and I used ours to spend some time at Ventana in Big Sur. It was a showstopper and our stay and food were 100% covered by the points we earned. Doesn’t get better than that! Reviewed on 29-12-2021

Christina Bono(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 03-07-2021 I cannot say enough good things about this venue and the phenomenal service and wedding coordinators. I got married at the Hyatt on July 3rd. This venue was a referral from a friend who got married here a few years back. He urged us to just go look at it even though we were pretty set on another venue. From the outside (front) of the hotel, it doesn’t look like anything special, but as soon as you walk in, you have the best, most breath taking view of the Boston skyline. Pictures seriously do not do it justice so I also urge you to go in and see it for yourself!!We worked with Ashlynn as our Hyatt coordinator who is a saint and a dream to work with. She was so responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. My wedding day turned about to be extremely rainy. Ashlynn took me through the hotel to scope out inside photo locations since we were originally planning to do everything outside. I think she could tell how bummed out I was about the rain. Once I went back to the getting ready room, she came in a few minutes later with 4 different wedding albums that showed examples of other couples who had a rainy wedding day and all the beautiful pictures they still got. It immediately changed my mood and I was so grateful that she did that. Ashlynn and Steph (the other awesome coordinator) continued to check in with us all day, made sure everyone was on time and stayed in the loop. When the weather cleared to a light drizzle for just a few minutes, we ran outside to get pictures. Ashlynn was right there with us, holding the umbrella for us and getting rained on just so we could get some outdoor shots. Again, the service was incredible and Ashlynn was an absolute dream to work with.During the reception, the reception staff were also incredible. I didn’t go to the bar once-as soon as my drink was almost empty, a reception staff member was handing me a new one. During the reception, it really started down pouring but we were lucky enough to still have fireworks on the harbor that night (Boston Harborfest is usually held on the Saturday before the 4th). Again Ashlynn and Steph were running outside with us and our photographer, both of them getting drenched in rain and holding the umbrellas for us, just so we could get some epic fireworks shots. I cannot say enough good things about them!!We loved the Hyatt because we could do everything onsite and stay there-ceremony, reception, and they even give you an after party room until 1:30 am. The best part might be the honeymoon perk. When you get married at a Hyatt, they give you a bunch of Hyatt points to use towards your honeymoon. The real trick is to open up a Hyatt credit card and put all your wedding payments on that card because spending at a Hyatt gives you triple points or something like that. I also then used it was my main credit card after I opened it to maximize points. We had enough points for a 2 week stay at the Hyatt Andaz in Maui!! I don’t know of another venue where you can also get a free honeymoon if you work the points right! We are already planning our 1 year anniversary at their locations at the amalfi coast and again, will not have to pay for that hotel. Again, I cannot recommend this venue enough. We looked at so many venues and I am beyond happy we went with the Hyatt! Reviewed on 21-07-2021
Christina D(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-08-2019 Wow! Unsure of where to start!Got married last summer and it was truly perfect. I was toying back and forth with wanting a “beach” type wedding, but I’ve always loved the energy and excitement of the city. I thought getting married at the beach can be tricky with weather and when the sun goes down, it doesn’t really matter. But, the city sometimes has a cold feel to it. (I guess I wanted nature and glam!) Tough combo. BUT this venue is a hidden gem. It is on the water with the most spectacular view of the skyline and pretty sailboats. You still get that ocean breeze, pics by the water, not to mention an almost backyard feel right on the water for cocktail hour. You could even set up cornhole boards or bring in couches if you wanted to exaggerate that theme. And when nightfall hits, the lights of the city are gorgeous and it feels like the buildings are almost looking down at you. Basically, this place rocks rain or shine, trust me. PLEASE just take a visit and get some dinner sometime outside! We got married outside (again, holy skyline!) and had the reception under the “tent”. This is not a tent though! It’s a really beautiful and recently renovated structure, that easily could be used in case of rain. It held my 200 guests comfortably. I also loved the front indoor room, which was a back-up if it rained for the ceremony. Windows are floor to ceiling, so you could still see that skyline. This room is also where we held our after party. Food and bar options until 1:30! This was also a must for us. Nothing worse than getting kicked out of a lobby or having guests scatter after a wedding. It’s steps away for guests! Before the wedding, guests can also hang out in the huge restaurant. On my way to take pictures with my bridesmaids, I saw them all having a blast!Justine and Jane were so accommodating, kind, young, refreshing, and professional. My husband and I actually felt sad we wouldn’t be seeing them anymore! We worked with Justine through most of the planning, and then Jane who became our coordinator. We actually chose to go into meetings in person, when emailing to phone calls was an option, just do sit in the amazing restaurant and work with her. The day of Jane was on point! My father in law made it point to mention how on top of things she seemed, but again so accommodating. I felt zero stress about this venue and these people taking CARE OF US, including the concierge and wait staff! I can’t emphasize enough how much my guests loved this venue. Many mentioned they couldn’t believe they had never been there. They also got to take some dynamite pictures with friends and family. Further, the actual space is somewhat localized. I didn’t have to worry about guests having or wanting to travel far from the dance floor. Additional perks:-the food tasting was a blast! (OH food and options were amazing of course, too!) With a blended family, I was also able to bring additional guests-we took the ferry the night before from the hotel to Chart House (hotel helped charter a private ferry for us) just WOW-we were able to park for free at the venue and shuttle over to the airport for our honeymoon -when you become a Hyatt member (and depending on how much you spend on the wedding) you get a boatload of points. We ended up staying in Amsterdam at a Hyatt for 4 nights FOR FREE.-pricing is fair! I looked at some other venues in the north shore that were about the same. With all of the perks of this hotel, it was a NO-BRAINER. Reviewed on 22-07-2020
Isabella Mariano(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 19-10-2019 The whole day was a dream! We had our wedding reception here in October after my sister had done the same in 2011. If I thought they were fabulous then, they exceeded our expectations this time around. From Justine (who answered our very first call), to Jane, to every single staff member in between, our experience was incredible. Jane was our point person throughout and she was attentive, accommodating, and encouraging. We wanted to make sure we also recognized other hotel staff including Mary Lou, Zeckeriah, Craig, and Vinny...who all made the day of our wedding and the following day so comfortable and fun for us as we hung out in anticipation of leaving for our honeymoon the Monday after. We also want to shine light on the chefs who put up with my traditional Italian dad and rearranging the entire menu to suit our needs. Our guests are still raving (it's been a month) about the food, ambience, and warm nature of the staff. And we haven't even mentioned the view yet!!! It will be a day we never forget!! Lisa Parent(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 12-10-2019 My husband and I got married at the Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor this past October. We hosted our ceremony, reception, and brunch at this location. I will honestly say it was the most perfect venue for our wedding, from the guest accommodations and event venues to the staff, food and THE VIEW!!! Working with Jane, our wedding coordinator put me at ease the day of the wedding as she truly triple checks everything and provided consistent communication. We hosted our ceremony in the sky ball room instead of outside due to the weather being cold and rainy. It was better than expected. The windows provide perfect lighting in the room and the guests were happy they weren't cold. Guests consistently told us that the cocktail hour was great because their was plenty of hors d'oeuvres. The Pavillion tent was beautiful for our reception. The lighting over the dance floor was elegent and romantic. Our sweetheart table was perfectly decorated as well. After our tasting we had a few months prior we knew the food would be top notch, our waiter even reminded me to eat when our entree was served which was very sweet. We also chose three of the preferred vendors from the Hyatt, Meritage entertainment (DJ), Montillio's (cake/pastries), and Wedding flowers by Annette. They all recieved 5 star reviews as well. Following our wedding we went to Greece for two weeks and took advantage of the park and fly service that was provided as well that included leaving our car at the Hyatt, shuttle service to our airline, and pick up when we returned. I woudl highly recommend this location and the team the wedding team! Reviewed on 06-11-2019
Steph A(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 05-07-2019 AMAZING! I don’t even know where to begin with how incredible it was to have our dream wedding at this venue. We had our ceremony on the lawn outside overlooking the best view of Boston seeing the skyline, the cocktail hour in the skyline ballroom still overlooking the skyline and then our reception in the Grande ballroom. We had our after party in the skyline as well. Our rehearsal dinner was also great we had that in the harborside ballroom and then went back outside on the harbor walk to watch fireworks on the 4th of July! It truly was the most beautiful place in Boston to have a wedding! Everyone keeps telling us it was the most beautiful wedding they’ve been too and that they loved everything from the delicious food to the views to the staff. They were sure to take care of everyone and make the night go smoothly! Now for the most important people- Jane, we literally owe her our lives for how much she did for us on the wedding day along with everything up to that point. She made sure we were organized and on schedule along with having all of the perfect details set ahead of time for success. We booked our venue two years before we got married so we originally had another event coordinator, Stephanie who was fabulous and once we had our tasting she then told us we were leaving. We panicked because it was 6 months away from our wedding and she had been helping us a ton. However we are so blessed that we had Justine from the beginning who is absolutely incredible! She helped make my dreams come true to have our wedding there along with always being there for extra support and help if needed especially after Stephanie left. She then set us up with Jane who as I said before was AMAZING!!! She helped us with our flowers, all of our decorations, making sure tables were set up the way we wanted along with being quick to responding if we needed her. She is such a sweetheart and helped to make our day the best day ever. From our emails/ phone calls and meetings to get everything set up she knew my vision from the start and made it all happen. I didn’t have to worry about a single thing the week leading up to the wedding and I was stress free and able to enjoy literally every second. She made sure we ate, she made sure we were on time for our timeline, she brought our cards to our room along with my veil, champagne strawberries and cake to have once we got back to the room! It was so beautiful! She even checked on us while we were getting ready to see how it was going. THANK YOU SO MUCH! From the bottom of our hearts we love you guys (Jane, Justine and the rest of the staff) and can’t thank you enough. Our bridal suite was amazing!!! The staff helping from the valet/concierge guys to the front desk and room service everyone was friendly! The staff at the harborside grill and the great people from the rehearsal dinner to those that helped the night of the wedding serving meals and drinks etc were also great! Lou and Elizabeth were two people who truly stuck out to us and were so loving and caring! We can’t wait to see them when we come back!! There were some issues with the AC so the maintenance and front desk staff made sure to fix them as quickly as possible. The view from the rooms are also unbelievable!!! I just can’t get over how beautiful this venue is. It’s truly a hidden gem! We love being a part of the Hyatt family- we even went to Hyatt aruba for our honeymoon! We will be back soon to visit and hope you choose them for your big day!💕 Reviewed on 20-07-2019

Justine Gajewski & Stephanie Lento ensured no detail was forgotten, they also made the process so easy. Their wedding/event knowledge was beyond helpful in making recommendations. The customer service is excellent and the coordinator was very accommodating and helpful throughout the process. We were lucky to have her as part of our day and journey! Finally, you don't normally hear compliments on the food at a wedding but I had several people come up to me and say that the food was awesome! Which I have to agree with : ) The only small complaint I had was that the bathrooms used are very nice but the individual stall doors didn't work correctly, and the room rate is pretty pricey for something that is in East Boston. The staff knows how to organize a wedding and was on top of everything. Everyone was raving about the food (which we did plated meals with beef, salmon, and stuffed shells) and couldn't believe how good the food was. We also held a welcome party Friday night, an after party, and brunch on Sunday, all of which the Hyatt coordinated flawlessly. At times, our wedding coordinator was a little slow getting back to us. We had three wedding coordinators within the year after we signed the contract. The transition between coordinators was easy, but frustrating to have to go through everything multiple times, especially since the last transition was two weeks before our wedding. Michael was our wedding coordinator day of and he was amazing. Anything we needed, he was there to help us find an answer. He's super friendly and knows what he's doing. The front desk was also very attentive and called us several times while we were getting ready to see if we needed anything. Lastly, we honeymooned at the Hyatt Zilara Cancun, which is an all-inclusive resort, with the points we received from the wedding. We also opened a Hyatt credit card and charged the wedding on the Hyatt card and were able to get to Explorist status and got so many points :) I would highly recommend having your wedding at the Hyatt if you want to rack up points to travel with. Everything that my husband and I envisioned for special day Courtney made it happen. All the staff at the Hyatt are extremely accommodating and helpful. We had guests that had very strict diet restrictions and the staff took extra special care of them. I can't even begin to say enough about the FOOD!! Emily Robbins(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-09-2016 The Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor is the epitome of a “hidden gem.” You simply can’t get a better view of the city skyline or the Boston Harbor from any other downtown venue. My husband and I got married on the Lawn and Pavilion on Sept. 2nd of this year. One of our biggest requirements in finding a wedding venue was making sure our guests would feel like we had anticipated their every need. We worked with Courtney Haskell at the Hyatt and she did a phenomenal job creating an incredible experience for everyone from our initial planning session through our wedding day. We received so many positive comments about the delicious food, the gorgeous backdrop, easy access to the airport, and the excellent service provided by all of the Hyatt team members. As a personal case-in-point, my sweet 2 year-old niece and flower girl got sick right before walking down the aisle, and a staff member rushed over and cleaned off her dress without any hesitation. We felt genuinely supported and cared for by everyone. As a bride who had initially rejected the idea of getting married at a hotel, outside, and in a tent, I truly could not have been happier with my decision to get married at the Hyatt! From the beginning stages, to the food tasting, picking out the linens, and the big day- Courtney was supportive and helpful as were all of the employees at the Hyatt. The food was delicious and the room was great. We did the Grand Ballroom and guests enjoyed cocktail hour with the city skyline. My wedding was six months ago and guests are still raving about how great the venue and food was. We had 170 guests and the room was spacious with a great size dance floor. Friends of mine always say they have issues or problems that arise the day of the wedding, but I can honestly say that my wedding was 100% smooth thanks to the Hyatt. I know what you’re thinking – an airport hotel?! Trust me, once you see it, you’ll understand – it’s the only venue that has the breathtaking view of the Boston skyline. Victoria Bartolome(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-08-2016 If you want a classy and fun harborside wedding in Boston at a very reasonable price, do yourself a huge favor and book the Hyatt Harborside as your wedding venue. It was hands-down the best decision we made for our wedding, and I honestly cannot think of any other venue that would have been a better choice. We chose the Harborside Pavillion for our event, and it was stunning -- city skyline views into Boston, position RIGHT by the water, and gorgeous lawn space outside where we were able to offer cornhole and bocce ball for our guests (both being a big hit, especially for those who are a bit more shy on the dance floor). Beyond the gorgeous space itself, the other aspect of the Hyatt we will never ever forget were the staff, especially our coordinator, Amanda, who made the process dumbfoundingly easy -- my husband and I kept asking each other sheepishly throughout the planning process and communications with Amanda: \"is that it? we have to be missing something... is it supposed to be this easy?\" It wasn't until the day-of that I came to the conclusion that Amanda and her staff are just THAT GOOD. Everything was perfection. Every dollar we spent was way worth it. While I have a laundry list of things that Hyatt did so well to deliver the wedding of our dreams, the best example of the Hyatt going above and beyond for me and my husband was with the Lechon (Filipino roasted pig) that we requested be a part of our menu. As filipinos, we've been to other weddings and events in America where it's not cooked quite right, but we were AMAZED at the job Hyatt did -- the meat was juicy, and most importantly, the skin was crispy!!! Our relatives thought it was so good that they were hoarding extra plates of it for themselves :). We can't say enough good things about the Hyatt Harborside and look forward to returning often to reminisce about our flawless and stunning wedding night. If you're looking to have your wedding in Boston, you will have no regrets if you book with the Hyatt -- they truly delivered our dream wedding and will for you too! Reviewed on 19-09-2016

She always answered every question for us very quickly, was flexible with the requests and ideas we had, and gave us great suggestions. The day of our wedding was beautiful – until we were arriving at the Hyatt after the ceremony. We had planned to have the cocktail hour outside, but about 2 minutes before it was supposed to start, there was a massive (and unexpected) wind storm. The Hyatt staff moved the cocktail hour into the tent extremely quickly and they even kept the bar open for an extra half hour because of the delay. We had the best weather and combined with the amazing view of the city, it was a dream come true. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the Hyatt. The food, the bridal party suite, and the service from the Hyatt staff were all top notch. My reasoning for giving a 4 not a 5, was for the turnover of wedding coordinators. By the day of the wedding, I was onto the 3rd wedding coordinator, and not because I had requested changes. Megan Foster was who managed our actual event, and we couldn't have been happier, so all in all it worked out, but there was definitely stress along the way from the change in coordinator. The Hyatt offers a great promotion for your honeymoon, and we ended up only having to pay for 1 night out of our 6 night trip to Aruba. We wanted something with outdoor ceremony and reception options that was dog friendly, and we got that and more! We worked with Megan and Ashlynn who were both great throughout the whole process. They were very professional and responsive to our many emails and made us feel comfortable through the planning. We must have met with Ashlynn at least 5 times on top of all the emails and she was very patient with us and committed to making sure we had everything we would need for the wedding. \r\rThe views at the hotel are amazing and all of our guests said it was the best view and best food they'd ever had at a wedding. They pay attention to every detail from the rehearsal to the ceremony/reception and the brunch the next day. I'm a vegetarian and they worked with me to have a special menu and also made sure our guests with nut allergies had dishes that were safe to eat. All of the staff was highly professional and the bartenders made sure to make us our signature drinks and bring them to our table since we didn't have a chance to get over to them. We lucked out with perfect weather but they were prepared with backup options if it had rained. \r\rThe guest rooms were great- they were renovated within the last year so everything was or looked new. We were able to get extra mini fridges in the getting ready rooms which was great. Ashlynn sent up a fresh margarita for me while we were getting ready and after the reception we went upstairs and they had sent up a bottle of champagne with a slice of each of our cake flavors and strawberries to our room. \r\rThere were a few small issues with behind the scenes parking and hotel room charges on the master account but those were resolved and for the most part transparent to the guests so nothing major. \r\r Overall, our families highly recommend them for an amazing wedding! Janet Curran(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 14-08-2015 Overall, we'd definitely give this venue 5 stars though we did have a few issues along the way (then again I'm pretty sure that's bound to happen with weddings...).\r\r1st - the location sounds a bit tough - airport hotel? But it's a Hyatt...and you really need to visit the grounds because the hotel has the most beautiful view of the Boston skyline and the rooms are great. Plus, there is free airport shuttle service so if you have people traveling in (we had about 1/2), this is actually a huge perk.\r\r2nd - the food - Amazing. They did a phenomenal job and helped to work with us on a different vegetarian dish as we had one extremely strict vegetarian - and people actually raved the veg dish was the best ever. While I can't believe everyone thought it was the most amazing wedding ever, I actually do believe the assertions it was the best food ever. I can't stress how good it was. And we did the full bar and while I'm not sure we had our own personal waiter (I don't believe I ever saw him/her?), when I did finally make it to the bar to order a glass of wine, the bar was out of it - the bartender was lovely and told me she'd absolutely find another bottle because it was my day - and she delivered. \r\rThe Accommodations - just lovely. The bride/groom suite really is spacious and beautiful and everyone was very happy with their rooms. They also have fire pits outside where everyone gathered the night before and ultimately after the wedding.\r\rWe worked predominantly with Kendra and she was on top of everything. She was professional, responsive, helpful, and really thought of everything that we didn't. She was there on the actual day and was fantastic in ensuring everything went according to plan and on schedule. I cannot stress enough how important that is!!\r\rThere were a couple things we were less than thrilled about - on our first viewing, we were told one thing (which cost less money) by one coordinator and when we signed on with a contract with the main coordinator, she advised differently and assured us that nobody on her team would make such a mistake (though there were several of us who heard exactly otherwise.) And our understanding of the prices changed midway through negotiation (2015 prices were 18% higher than 2014 prices?) And finally...we opted to do our rehearsal dinner there for ease of coordinating but somehow there was a miscommunication and it was essentially a disaster. I still haven't learned where the miscommunication happened on this... As I said at the beginning, these things were less than ideal but what wedding goes perfectly? Despite these drawbacks, we were very pleased with the Hyatt and given the opportunity again, we'd book our wedding there without a 2nd thought. \r\r Reviewed on 10-11-2015

Kristin LaConte(wedding party)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 03-10-2015 For my review I am copying from my letter to Kendra, our fantastic wedding coordinator at the Hyatt:\r\rWe are still floating on cloud 9 after the incredible wedding weekend!!!    We could not be any happier with the entire experience of the wedding, and the Hyatt venue.  EVERY SINGLE PERSON that we dealt with at the Hyatt was so great!!!  Friendly and warm, professional, helpful….From walking in the door where the valets were so nice and helpful…the front desk people…the restaurant staff who rushed our breakfast order when we realized we needed to hurry…ALL of the wedding related staff…..Really, I could go on and on.  We were treated like royalty. Our expectations were exceeded in every way.\r\rThe venue itself is incredible.  The rooms are fresh and beautiful, immaculate, comfortable and elegant at the same time.  And quiet!!!  The skyline view is just so beautiful and unique.  Even the Boston people appreciated and enjoyed the different perspective on the city.  We were so proud to be hosting the wedding at such a special place…elegant and classy but not over the top pretentious of fancy.  It was just the style and feeling that we had hoped for.  Moving indoors for weather reasons turned out to be a blessing in disguise! The space was almost like being outside with the same spectacular view.  It was so great that we were able, due to your willingness to make this what we wanted it to be, to have the ceremony AND the cocktail hour in that same space.\r\rYou were so great to work with.  We were so impressed with your professionalism, attention to every detail, calmness, and fun approach to every aspect of the planning.  We felt that we could approach you with any question and idea or request.  And you listened and offered the best options to us and worked with us with great flexibility to make this our own wedding event.  You inspire complete confidence in your ability as an event planner and in the venue.  All of our family and the wedding party who interacted with you thought that you were great and fun and lovely.\r\rThe wedding package at the Hyatt is so well designed, and it includes extras that we might not have expected.  The inclusion of the bridal suite is so great because it allows for a wonderful place for getting ready all day.  Even the little touches like a raspberry in each toasting champagne glass were little extras that I loved that would not HAVE to be done, but bring it to a higher level.  The food tasting event was so well organized (and so much fun!!!).  And the food was even better at the wedding!!!!   We were so proud to offer our guests such a wonderful and special menu of fine food.  And everyone raved about the food.  We loved that the wedding cake was included and did not need to be handled as a separate piece.\r\rYou and the staff there have weddings down to a science AND an art.  It did not feel pre-packaged or formulated.  You made it easy to add all of our own personal touches.  It is so hard to include all of the wonderful aspects of the wedding in an e-mail, but I do hope that you know, and I hope that you can share with others there, that we could not be happier and we will shout your praises from the rooftops!!!!  I hope that one day we will get to attend a wedding at the Hyatt as guests.  A guaranteed great time!  \r\rSo, a million thank yous to you and the great people there!!!! The setup was perfect - ceremony overlooking the water; cocktail hour on the lawn with corn-hole and bocce ball; reception under the tent with lawn access all night! It gave guests the ability to cool off while still being well within earshot of the DJ. The views just got better and better as the sun set and the city lights took over the sky.\r\rWe moved to California very soon after we got engaged and had to plan our entire wedding remotely. Ashlynn was a dream to work with! She promptly answered all of my questions, and gave us great vendor recommendations that made our wedding day spectacular! Ashlynn was on top of everything from the beginning - she’s fun, professional, and will make the planning process smooth and easy!\r\rFood: Amazing! Their NY strip was just as yummy as the filet and ~$20 cheaper per head. We skipped on the champagne toast and got a hotdog bar for late-night eats that was a huge hit!\rCake: you get to choose between 2 bakeries - Konditor Meister was our choice for 3 decadent flavors: double chocolate, carrot with cream cheese frosting, vanilla with lemon mousse.\rLocation: couldn’t be better! The proximity to the airport meant our guests didn’t have to rent a car and we didn’t need to plan ANY transportation.\rRooms: the hotel has been recently renovated and the rooms are awesome!\r\rIf you are concerned with noise/obstructions from the nearby airport, don’t be! Miranda Rios(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 18-09-2015 There aren't enough words to describe our amazing wedding!! From our first conversation to our shuttle to the airport everything was top notch. Megan Foster and Lara Saracco made the entire process seamless, answered every single email, no matter how many times I asked the same question! There was never a moment where I second guessed our venue. my favorite part of the process was how a lot of the \"extras\" came included with the venue. We looked at several venues at The Cape and in Boston and no one could compare to the Hyatt. Our guests were blown away by the view of the city and the quality of the food. Our wedding ceremony took place on the lawn and the reception in the tent. We originally planned for a wedding band but due to budget switched to a DJ. We were so glad we did because most of our guests enjoyed the lawn outside with the view and spent little time on the dance floor. The only hiccup was with our room block. We had guests book from $239-$379 per night but the day of the wedding some of our guests decided to book a room last minute and received the room for $199. This didn't sit well with a lot of our room block. We had to end up being the sounding board for complaints from guests. Not exactly what you want to hear the day after your wedding. Besides that small hiccup everything else was beyond Amazing!! Seriously can't say enough nice things and I would highly recommend. You seriously can't go wrong here. \r\rNever, not once, was I concerned that my \"vision\" wouldn't happen. We ended up throwing the dice and had our cocktail hour on the front lawn and reception in the 3 season tent. The tent was the fanciest tent I've ever been in! And our guests couldn't get over how gorgeous everything was the ought the evening. From start to finish - Megan Foster was the most attentive, reliable, kindest event manager and the whole weekend went off without a hitch. She didn't even complain when we had to ask for about 30 more rooms in our block - everyone wanted to come to Boston! \r\rWhen the cocktail hour started they had a personal waiter for my husband and I - he was the nicest man and was so happy to be there. I really appreciated him and the entire staff at the Hyatt. The evening ran smoothly and followed the itinerary. We have heard from so many people that it was the best wedding they've ever been to - and I actually believe them! \r\rAlso - didn't hear one plane. Planes fly over Southie not Eastie! So don't even worry about that. I know that \"hotel by the airport\" doesn't scream elegance but I swear this place does. \r\rThe food. Oh the food! So so so good. And Megan made sure we ate! Amy Galvin(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 21-06-2014 Absolutely perfect. Really. Not one complaint the venue, the service, the food, the planning...nothing. The location is fantastic - beautiful, unobstructed view of the skyline, and despite the fact that it may seem an odd spot being at Logan, there is no air traffic noise. Extremely convenient for weddings with a lot of out-of-town guests (which we had). \r\rService was exceptional from start to finish. Our coordinator Lara was fantastic - smart, responsive, organized, good sense of humor, never tried to up-sell. The staff at the event was excellent as well, very professional and on point with everything. We received many compliments from guests on the superb quality of the food - enough to realize that people were being truthful and not just saying it because they felt they had to. \r\rCost was reasonable, taking \"reasonable\" with the consideration that any wedding in Boston--especially at a hotel--is going to cost an absurd amount of money. Hyatt Boston Harbor is on the lower end of price per head, and their package is more comprehensive than other hotels. (Believe me, I checked.) Plus the value for the money is, in my opinion, far better than any other hotel in the city. You'll pay a lot more to have a wedding at the Seaport, where you'll look out over the harbor...and see Hyatt Boston Harbor. You want to be where the Hyatt is - that's the money shot of the Boston skyline.\r\rThe venue really is a gem. I suspect it was a lesser-known spot a few years ago and is now gaining popularity. But you really feel like you're the only person for which the hotel's ever held a wedding event. \r\rI'll end by putting this review in another light: not one thing went wrong at our wedding reception. Ever since I was a little girl watching the 4th of July fireworks from the Hyatt's parking lot, I knew that this is where I wanted our wedding to be. I contacted the Hyatt and they put me in touch with Megan Foster, their senior catering sales manager. Megan was a dream to work with! Her knowledge, hardwoking, genuine and enthusiastic personality made it a breeze to plan our wedding. \rA few days before our wedding, we brought numerous items to Megan to be set up on the big day. It was a huge relief to know that those details were going to be kept safe and sound and displayed just the way we wanted them to be throughout the Ballroom. \rOn the day of the wedding, Megan was there to greet us as we got off the trolley and escorted us out to the back of the hotel for pictures. While we were taking pictures, she made sure that Keith and I got plenty of water and that our entire bridal party (all 25 of them) as well as our parents had ordered their dinner (we had the personal preference dinner package). \rWhen pictures were completed, Megan took us into the Ballroom to see how the room was set up. When we walked in there, it was just as I had always envisioned! It was unbelievable to see all the different vendors come together to create our dream come true!\rAfter introductions, Keith and I began our greetings to everyone and about a half hour into it Megan came over to check on us and to let us know that dinner was about to be served. We had 2 more tables to greet and then we went to our sweetheart table and were greeted with plates of hot food! Because Megan took the time to check on us and let us know dinner was being served we actually got to enjoy our 4 course dinner-hot! I am the first bride out of my group of friends to have a hot meal on their wedding night and I say that with pride because I know how infrequently that happens! We were never left guessing on what we were going to do next. \rOur wedding night was absolutely perfect and just as I had always dreamed of!\rThe next morning we hosted a brunch in the Skyline ballroom and it was the perfect ending to a perfect wedding! The Hyatt Boston Harbor is the best wedding location in Boston! My husband and I knew we wanted our wedding location to be on the water. We explored a few wedding venues in the North End and Seaport area and then we went across the harbor over to the airport to check out the Hyatt. The moment my husband and I walked in our breaths were taking away by the amazing view of the city skyline in front of us. We knew right then and there that this would be our perfect venue. We decided to have our wedding reception in the semi-permanent tent on the Harborside lawn in the back of the hotel. The views from the tent was the Boston Harbor and full view of the city skyline. We also chanced it and planned our wedding ceremony right there on the lawn as well w/ the city skyline behind. It was a gamble we won b/c the weather the day of our wedding couldn’t have been more perfect. Megan, our day-of wedding coordinator, was the best! She was always super responsive to all my emails, which was at least once a month from the moment we booked the wedding and even more the 2 months before the wedding. Megan executed my vision for the wedding perfectly. The day before the wedding I handed her everything for the reception, I explained everything I wanted, and she executed everything perfectly the day of! She handled working w/ all my vendors and I was not bothered once that day by any of my vendors. Aside from being the perfect location (nowhere else in Boston can you get a view of the whole city skyline), Megan and the rest of the Hyatt staff was just amazing to work with. We loved it upon our visit! Unfortunately, they didn't have the dates we were looking at. But, we were willing to be flexible. Then, we found out that the Crane Estate was available, so all was good! We then decided to stay at the Hyatt Harborside AFTER the wedding reception, and invited our bridal party and other guests to do so, as well. I initially booked a \"bank\" of rooms- months before- in my name so we could all be on the same floor. Well, it all went downhill from there. First, the rates changed and the rate I had booked was not honored. No one was able to easily book a room under the bank I had reserved for reasons unknown to me, so we all ended up on different floors. The room key for my newly wedded husband and I didn't work and it took over half an hour to get a new one. Once we were in the room, the rug was soaking wet- ???! They \"up-graded\" us to a suite on another floor, but didn't have the courtesy to bring the champagne and other gifts several of our guests had sent to our first room. Several guests left because the rate was so much higher than they were told. It didn't ruing my wedding, because nothing can ruin love. But it definitely was the WORST PLACE EVER TO DEAL WITH. Oh, and my veil was stolen. I say stolen because if you leave something behind, you would hope when you call to collect it, it is there. They said they never saw it. BS. I hate this place. In addition to the wonderful job she did, the whole staff at the Hyatt was extremely accommodating and attentive. \r\rThe Hyatt is located by the airport, which was perfect for our many out of town guests. You may think, but what about hearing the airplanes? Well, you can't from that location. Instead, you get amazing views of the skyline of Boston from across the Boston Harbor. Our guests (many of whom live in Boston) were certainly impressed and stunned by the views. It also made a great background for our professional photographs. \r\rWe planned to have our ceremony outside on the lawn, but it thunder stormed about 10 minutes before go time. This would be enough to cause any bride stress, but Megan and the staff were so prepared...they had already set up accommodations in the Skyline Ballroom (still with the view) for the ceremony. Then, they easily set up the cocktail hour in doors without a hitch. The rain lasted less than an hour, but they had transitioned everything seemlessly, and I had no concerns or worries. \r\rOur reception was in the tent, which was a beautiful setting. The food (as you'll get to find out based on the tasting) was fabulous, and the cake you get to pick is from two of the best and most famous bakeries (Konditor Meister or Montilio's). \r\rWe had so many compliments from our guests, telling us they had the best time at our wedding and that every element of it from the ceremony to food was fantastic. Some weddings you only get a rave review on one element of the wedding (e.g. we liked the location or we liked the food or the service was good), but rarely do you get it ALL. It ended up in our favor, but the other wedding's guests had to walk through the indoor pool to get to their ceremony/reception. Reviewed on 10-05-2010

It was on the water with a view of the Boston skyline. It was breathtaking during the day at sunset and at night. Reviewed on 10-05-2010
Jill Pascarella(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 23-09-2006 I loved the city backdrop and Boston Harbor as a backdrop for our ceremony and reception. We had the reception in a permanent tent outside and the sides were peeled back which provided a great view.;Fees include no decorations for the ten and the wedding coordinator had no recommendations for companies in the area to assist with this. They provided a recommendation in New Hampshire which meant increased fees for travel. Reviewed on 10-05-2010

Lauren Rigney(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 07-06-2008 The view is the best in Boston a harbor view with the Boston Skyline as a backdrop. We chose the outdoor tent;We pre selected beverages which is suggested by the hotel however they quickly ran out and did not have what the groom had asked for Reviewed on 21-09-2008
