We recently hosted three events for our wedding at the Hyatt Regency Coral Gables and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! Our guests were stunned by how fabulous each event was! Melissa C(bride)2 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 07-05-2022 I recently had a wedding at the Hyatt Regency Coral Gables and we are extremely upset with how unorganized things were and the lack of communication from the venue. Although our night was perfect due to our amazing family & friends, I would not recommend this venue to anyone.1. We were supposed to have the presidential suite the night before the wedding and they accidentally gave the room to someone else. This caused us to miss photo ops we had planned for. 2. The floor plan was completely wrong, the wrong amount of tables/chairs. My sister had to go and fix herself. 3. The designated day of coordinator from the venue that we had been in conversation with the entire process did not show up. She was sick but this was never communicated to us. 4. Lobby screen had the previous wedding party information and we had to request for it to be changed. 5. The tables were dirty. As the crew was setting up, my mom noticed crumbs and stains on several tablecloths. It appeared as if the tablecloths were not washed or changed from a previous event. My mom pointed this out and requested that they be changed. 6. Our rental car was stolen. Lack of security! Reviewed on 12-07-2022

We booked the Court of The Lions for our lunchtime reception, as well as rooms for the bridal party and out-of town guests. Ana helped us the whole way even though we were planning from out of town and didn't actually get to see the venue until a few months after booking it. When we did our tour, Ana was very attentive and answered any questions we could have had. She was also very responsive to emails and phone calls whenever we had questions. We chose to do the Latin Buffet for food and OH. MY. GOSH. It was the most amazing food; even our local Miami guests were saying it was some of the best Latin food they've had! When we had to make a last-minute call to move inside for rain, Ana allowed us to do our cocktail hour in the courtyard and the reception set up in the ballroom so all our bases were covered. The hotel rooms were very nice too, and our guests all said they had a great stay. Our out-of-town guests who didn't have cars were able to walk around the Miracle Mile area. Parking was easy too, because they have an on-site garage, so there's no worry for the guests needing to find street parking! If you're looking to have your wedding in Miami or Coral Gables, I can't recommend The Hyatt Regency Coral Gables enough! Reviewed on 09-03-2022

The price, with everything included, was extremely affordable. Hotels in Coral Gables and Miami Beach were several thousand more and didn't include half the wonderful amenities the Hyatt did. Most importantly, they were so easy to work with- everyone from the servers to the front desk to the management were so kind and warm. I had always had my eyes on the Hyatt Regency and my husband and I met with Ana Rivas to check it out. We knew immediately after meeting Ana and seeing the hotel and area that this was our spot. We had so many ideas floating around for the wedding location and there was a lot of uncertainty until we found the Hyatt Regency. The minute we booked, we were hooked. The hotel is so beautiful, the service is incredible, and the location is AMAZING! I can rave on and on about how great of an experience we had. Wedding planning was honestly a joy and the wedding came out perfect. I was expecting so many issues to pop up and nothing. Ana and the Hyatt Regency team were by our side at every step of the way. From setting aside rooms for the girls and guys to get ready, to opening up a new room for us to host a mini virtual ceremony, to ensuring quality service every step of the way for all guests... I was totally enchanted by her and Nzinga after I met them at the hotel the first time. We walked all the amenities, the rooms we will be using to get ready, the rooms we will be having for our guests and ourselves, and the wonderful ballroom \"Hall of Ambassadors\". The size for our 132 guests was just perfect, it didn’t look nor too big nor too small. We couldn’t be happier with all the coordination and effort Nzinga put while working with us. She was super responsive, giving us help and guidance each step of the way. Tasting day with her was amazing, everything was delicious and well presented, was difficult to choose from the great options available. Food was excellent the day of the wedding, we heard everybody enjoyed it, the hors d’oeuvres and the dinner package. Nzinga was coordinating and on top of everything since early on. It was a magical day, every detail, the timeline of the day ran so smoothly, the hotel put photos of our engagement pics in the screens so guests in the hotel will know about the wedding. I got married at the Hyatt Regency in Coral Gables about a month ago and could not have been happier with my choice. The team there went above and beyond all our expectations. They were so kind and professional and always positive. The hotel itself is very beautiful. It has a Spanish influenced architecture which is very unique in Miami where you mainly see a lot of art deco/modern architecture. \r\r The hotel was very convenient for us. Half the wedding guests were out of town and they loved being located in Coral Gables. It’s a great central location and was a close ride to the airport and South Beach. There were also so many walkable fun/entertaining options in Coral Gables, especially Miracle Mile, for those guests without cars. I received so many compliments from the guests staying at the hotel, especially about the pool! They love love loved the service, the rooms, the look/feel and everything else about this hotel.\r\r In regards to the wedding planning process at the Hyatt, Michelle Cannici was a rock star! Such a ray of sunshine everytime we spoke to her. Always listened and went above and beyond to get us the answers to our questions. I will admit we were nervous at first because we didn’t have Michelle at first as our wedding coordinator, there was some personal switches 2 months before the wedding, but the way they keep their files and information at the Hyatt leaves for no missed detail. On the day of the wedding, the ballroom and courtyard looked fantastic. It was wonderful to see our vision come to life with the help of Michelle, Marcela and the rest of the team. The service of the staff working the cocktail and reception was also impeccable. I have nothing but rave reviews about the service and the taste of the food that evening. I got many comments on how delicious everything tasted.\r\r We are so happy to have had our wedding prep, wedding reception and cocktail hour at the Hyatt Coral Gables. Jennifer Slama, the Catering Manager who took care of us..oh my God!! Amazing! Her team was EXCELLENT! They took care of us. So many aspects of my wedding were taken care of here. When we were taking our engagement photos, the place we were planning to take the pics was outside and it was raining cats and dogs. I called Jennifer and in a heartbeat she said of course we could take pics at the hotel. She waited for me at the entrance and even showed me where the best places to take pictures in the hotel were. They paid for our lunch, our parking, and our drinks including coffee almost every time we went there for a meeting. I mean it is TOP NOTCH. They are not the most expensive venue out there and the service the Hyatt gives you is as if it was. The day of the wedding, everything was in place and perfect, and of course the service was phenomenal. We even had our bridal shower there and it was beautiful! I just cannot say enough about this venue and about Jennifer Slama and her team. I would highly highly recommend this venue to all future brides. It was FANTASTIC!!!
