Its lush landscape and charming wildflower meadows make it the perfect setting for a dreamy fairytale wedding. Hydrangea Farms is a 20-acre farm with over 60 hydrangeas of different varieties. It is a botanist's haven, conveniently located within 30 minutes of south Albany, 2 hours north of Manhattan. Nature lovers will enjoy exploring these enchanting grounds, absorbing the raw beauty and sweet, floral aromas. The owners invite couples to exchange vows in the meadow, surrounded by untamed and uninterrupted beauty. After you tie the knot, you can take advantage of the fabulous scenery for your portrait session while your guests mingle over cocktails. The best place to host your drinks reception is in the outdoor courtyard of their New England-style hay barn. This historic site dates back to the 1840s and exudes an aura of charm and nostalgia. Dinner receptions are hosted outside for a truly romantic experience. You can dine buffet style in the sunshine or enjoy your dishes plated in a beautifully decorated marquee.
