Il Palio Ristorante Reviews
Erica Brookman(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 30-10-2020 On 10/24/20, we had our 50 person wedding reception in the Vetro room. It was absolutely perfect!!! The food is to die for; guests continue to rave about it! Claudia and is super easy to work with. They were so so so flexible after our postponement from July, due to covid. The staff was super professional and followed all regulations to a T. Everyone felt safe. I can’t recommend il Palio highly enough, for an event or date night. We couldn’t be happier!!! Alyssa Di Rubbo(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 03-08-2019 This venue is so beautiful on it's own, and yet the staff went above and beyond with my decorations to make it even more stunning. We had our ceremony in one of the dining rooms in front of the stone fireplace, and our reception and cocktail hour downstairs in the Vitro room/bar. We loved having the balance between a rustic ceremony setting and a modern reception setting. The glass all around the room created a beautiful backdrop for our August wedding - it brought the outdoors in! Our whole wedding flowed beautifully with the setup! The food is also phenomenal, especially the lasagna!! As a complete Type A bride, I struggled for a while with their laid-back approach to organization but I really felt that the staff came through incredibly for us in the end and made our wedding a beautiful and smooth day. Sharon Quinn(parent)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 05-01-2019 We had my daughter's wedding here last weekend. It was a magical wonderland. The venue and everyone there was very accommodating for whatever we needed. This venue does not have a specific room for the bride but we were given the entire upstairs room so we could get the bride ready. Sue was attentive throughout the whole event, it was great to have her assistance. The venue set up the chairs in the room with an aisle which were lined with lanterns. After the ceremony we were ushered to the bar area for cocktail hour while the tables were set up. It was all done seamlessly while the bridal party had pictures taken in front of a beautiful tree. Everything transformed so smoothly. The buffet was amazing, the food delicious and plenty of it! Everyone is still commenting on it. Krisztina will guide you through all the food options, you can't go wrong with any selection. The chicken, vegetables, beef were excellent. The bar was top shelf and anything special request was met with a smile. The bartenders were so friendly and accommodating it created a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. The hit of the day was the gelato cart set up and offered throughout the event. There were about 8 different flavors that were offered and there wasn't a minute that I didn't see someone walking around with a cup of gelato. The dessert display was amazing and enjoyed by all. My daughter had decided to not have a cake and instead offer a variety of desserts, and what a hit it was. Cookies, strawberries in creme and much more were enjoyed. Coffee and tea topped it off.It is a smaller venue, we had about 80 people but it can accommodate up to 120. There are different rooms available, but the room downstairs with the separate room for the bar was perfect for the wedding, we were all by ourselves and able to enjoy our festivities. The room was all floor to ceiling windows which affords great ambiance. In warmer months it opens to a patio outside. The staff kept the flow of people going from the ceremony to the cocktail hour to eating time and everything in between. I can't say enough about them. They became part of us, including them getting just as emotional as the rest of us during the speeches that were given, that says a lot about their involvement and commitment to the customer. There was nothing that we needed or didn't get during the entire wedding. They made it very personal for us which is greatly appreciated. There was no band or DJ, they used the sound system for music and the special dances and the microphone for the speeches. It was a perfect fit for what they wanted. There is an area for a DJ or band if that was a choice.Let me say that this wedding was organized and done in 8 weeks. Starting with visiting the venue to walking down the aisle, it all came together, Krisztina was very easy to work with, had suggestions for some things and answered all questions that came up. She made sure the decorations and atmosphere is what my daughter had wanted and envisioned and that included my son in laws gelato cart! The location of Il Palio is a bit different as it is located in an industrial park of sorts and seems a bit odd, but when you enter the venue, all that goes away. Parking is ample and it is handicap accessible.Everything ran smoothly, the attentiveness of Sue throughout the night was very welcome. Nunzio was very helpful and everyone behind the scenes was very professional. It is a wonderful venue and we could not be more pleased. Reviewed on 09-01-2019
a member (groom)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 27-06-2019 We had our wedding reception at Il Palio in December(in the snow). Krisztina was very detail oriented and was a huge help putting everything all together. The staff that night was very attentive and made sure our guests were well taken care of. The food was amazing and our guests are still talking about it. The trees outside were so beautiful between the lights on them and the snow coming down. Made for some amazing pictures. We couldn't have been happier. Thank you again!! Reviewed on 27-04-2018
