Where to begin!! Let me start with saying that even at almost a month out from our wedding day, we are still having our guests reach out to tell us that our wedding was one of the best they have ever attended. From the service, to the food, to the overall ambiance and energy, every minute of our wedding day was absolutely perfect due to the hard work and dedication of the Il Villaggio staff. Il Villaggio happened to be the very first venue that we met with and did a virtual tour of as we were still in the thick of covid when we began the wedding planning process. From the very first video call, we knew that we had come across something special not only in Il Villaggio as a venue, but in Patrick as well. There are simply not enough words to describe the number of roles Patrick plays in the process of making your dream wedding day a reality, he quite literally does it all. From the very first conversation, he was honest, realistic, extremely informative, and made us feel totally comfortable without ever feeling an ounce of pressure. When we were able to meet in person, all of the same feelings we had from the first video call were validated and we instantly felt like we had known Patrick for years. Not to mention the venue is absolutely beautiful and walking into the grand ballroom truly stops you in your tracks. Patrick and his team at Il Villaggio made the entire planning process easy, even from afar as my husband’s job moved us to Chicago shortly after we visited and booked the venue. Even without being able to meet in person, Patrick and the team never skipped a beat and never left a stone uncovered. Patrick thought of things I never would have thought of and made sure that the distance between us would cause me no additional stress and I could not be more appreciative. Fast forward to the day of the wedding, and I still cannot get over how much of a dream the day was from start to finish. Patrick, Leo and the Il Villaggio staff as a whole made sure that every single detail was attended to and mad sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. We even had Patrick officiate our ceremony which he tailored to be unique to us as a couple and made the ceremony feel so intimate. From the cocktail hour into the reception, our guests were totally in awe. The rave reviews of the food, the beauty and grandeur of the ballroom, and the smoothness of the operation continue to roll in. I cannot express enough how highly I recommend Il Villaggio- it will be the best decision you make throughout your entire wedding planning process. THANK YOU Patrick, Leo & the entire Il Villaggio staff for giving us the wedding of our dreams, we will never forget it!!!

I cannot say enough good things about Il Villaggio. We had our wedding reception there on 9/23/23. From start to finish, Il Villaggio was a dream to work with. From the moment we walked in for the initial tour to the moment our reception ended we truly felt the love and support of the entire staff. From the food choices, the customization of our cocktail hour and dinner, to the ambiance they created with the lighting and cleanliness of the entire place, nothing is left to be desired. The bridal suite was perfect for us and our bridal party to do touch ups and have a moment to rest in between the different functions. We definitely plan to be back. Love love love.

Il Villaggio is THE place to have a wedding! From start to finish, our wedding was handled with the greatest attention and care we could’ve asked for. Their ballroom is gorgeous, cocktail hour is elaborate, and attention to detail is superb. Chris, and previously Patrick, are super easy to get in touch and plan with. Chris is very responsive to emails and phone calls and makes sure to work with the bride and groom to ensure their requests are met. On the day of our wedding, the whole staff was professional and respectful. From our bridal attendant, to the maitre d, to the wait staff and bartenders— they made our night so easy with nothing to worry about on our end! Chris made sure to have all our personal affects displayed in a beautiful way, including personalized bride and groom drinks. Our guests have been telling us that the food for cocktail hour, dinner, and dessert was all phenomenal. I can’t recommend Il Villaggio’s food enough, it is really of the highest quality. They also work with incredible vendors and we were able to find and work with Jenifer Studios, Broderick’s Florist, Danaro Limos, and Mondo Entertainment because they were recommended to us by Il Villaggio. We had such an amazing wedding reception and we owe it all to Il Villaggio! We can’t thank them enough!

We come to Il Villaggio for late lunch early dinner and drinks every couple of weeks and we love the place. Dennis the Chef is just the best there is and the bartender Jimmy is always very welcoming to everyone. Friday August 11, 2023 we had our wedding reception here. We eloped in April and decided to have a family celebration so we met with Chris who handles all of the weddings. Chris and his staff made themselves available whenever we needed anything. To answer questions, aid and assisting hiring vendors, panning menus, decor etc. This is a very well oiled machine that the Owner Ralph has put together. Our guests commented over and over again how elegant the setting is here. Ours was a more intimate crowd of 57 guests, however, they absolutely accommodate large full scale weddings in their grand ballroom which is also very warm and well appointed. Very inviting and elegant. The staff was on target all evening long from the servers, to my bridal attendant Angie, the bartender Steven, the Maitre D Leoand of coarse Chris and Dennis all doing their special part to make us feel like family. Our entire family raved about the food too. We had a five hour continuous cocktail party with vast food choices from around the globe. Aside from what we would love which is a lot of Italian delicacies, we had a Southern Comfort Station and a Havana Station that the guests went crazy for. They added a unique twist with different food choices. Every table we visited the plates were full of different foods everyone was trying. Guests said this was the most unqique selection and they could not decide so they ate as mush as they could have everything. First hour featured a raw bar of oysters, clams and shrimp that were fantastic. Lots of chafing dishes eggplant rollotini, sausage and broccoli rabe, meats, chicken IlVillaggio, pastas, salads, antipasto's, mozzarella, lamb chops, spanakopita, egg rolls, shrimp tempura, coconut shrimp etc. etc. The list seemed endless. The nest four hours were caring stations, homemade pastas, sides, the specialty stations, veal, chicken beef, prime rib you name it. All along keeping the bar flowing. The entire evening of music by Phil and Mary from NY Sound Machine was awesome, the photographer David Miller made sure to capture the festivities, the cake from Callandra's in Fairfield was fresh strawberries and whip cream just delicious! This was a night we and our family and friends will never forget, thank. you for making our dream wedding so perfect from the beginning of the planning process to the end! And we did this in a very short window thanks to Il Villaggio. Photos to follow...

So much to say about this venue!! It was GORGEOUS and the crew were so helpful and attentive! All the way from the owner, to the director of events, to the bridal attendants. When passing Il Villaggio on the highway, you wouldn't really think much of stopping in. I decided to check it out and when I went inside and saw the ballroom, I was in awe. The chandeliers were the one thing that amazed me. The aesthetics of this venue is so classic and timeless. My husband and I had the most magical wedding day at Il Villaggio. Thanks to Chris, Ralph, and everyone in between. I would definitely host other events at this venue.

Il Villaggio and its team know what they are doing when it comes to wedding. They have the most beautiful venue and the most amazing food, caring staff, and a manager who has compassion for his clients. We truly cannot express how thankful we are to Patrick and his team. He was there for us when we had to change our date a couple of times due to the pandemic and nothing could be easier than to work with him to have the wedding of our dreams. He also made sure the bride (me) didn't have to go up and down the stairs for pictures and have time to make our rounds with our guests. Our guests absolutely showered us with compliments about this venue and their food. We are talking high ceilings, magnificent chandeliers, state-of-the-art lights, and oh the food! Five stars and my highest recommendations - no need to look anywhere else!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Il Villaggio about two months ago, and we’re so pleased with our venue selection. From the moment we first stepped into the building, we were impressed by the atmosphere. The ballroom is beautiful, and didn’t require much else in terms of decor. It was also wonderful that the ballroom had LED lights built in, so we didn’t need to worry about those, either. Patrick was so helpful from the beginning, and it’s obvious he’s a seasoned professional when it comes to weddings. He also truly cares about both the wedding couple and the guests enjoying themselves, and it shows. Il Villaggio does only one event at a time, so the staff was focused entirely on making our event the best it could possibly be. The day of our wedding, the staff regularly checked on us if we needed anything. It also seemed like our guests really liked the waitstaff as well. My husband and I were concerned we wouldn’t get to eat much at the reception, but the staff was already ahead of us. Shortly after we arrived, Gloria brought us a spread of most of the cocktail hour food to eat in the bridal suite. For dinner, we got all three of our chosen entrees, and we were given takeout containers for anything we didn’t finish. The food was all delicious (my husband is still raving about the Little Havana station in particular), and we all really enjoyed ourselves. Il Villaggio provided fantastic value for the money, and the staff is top notch. We’re so grateful to Il Villaggio for helping make our wedding day a success, and we highly recommend them for anyone wanting to hold an event.

We could not be happier with Patrick and the entire team at Il Villaggio. Our wedding was a night to remember. From the beginning we felt at home there. Patrick was honest, helpful, and fun to work with. Our day went off without a hitch. He and Leo made sure everything was how we wanted and the day went on smoothly. My bridal attendant Grace was so so sweet. She literally went above and beyond. The food was delicious, they made sure we ate!! We had a suite for our bridal party to rest and refresh which was really nicely stocked. They brought food up. It was nice to get a minute. Everyone was flexible and committed to make the day be a success. Drop off and pick up of our stuff was super easy. We can’t wait to return to their restaurant to celebrate in the future. What a beautiful night! We highly highly recommend them!

8/5/2022 Had the best day of my life with Il Villaggio, and specifically Patrick, hosting my wedding. From first touring the venue to all of the follow-up meetings, Patrick was always so real with us and doesn’t try to sell what’s unnecessary. All of our questions were answered with years of experience and being my own wedding planner, I was able to trust him and his staff to execute my vision. He officiated our ceremony, cocktail hour was the best buffet, and dinner shocked guests who did not expect it to be so impressive. The ballroom is glorious and the whole night felt like an absolute dream. I truly felt like a princess, was able to let go of all the little stressful details, and enjoy my day. No one wanted the party to end, and our guests continue to say that it was one of the best weddings ever. We thank Patrick, our Maitr’d Leo, and our sweet bridal attendant Yvetta for everything!!

I’ve always loved Il Villaggio for romantic date nights with my husband, but now it will forever hold a special place in my heart for how amazing they cared for us for our wedding! Patrick made the entire process from start to finish so easy. Gloria my bridal attendant was extremely attentive and even when my bustle for my very long train on my dress broke she fixed the entire thing so that I could still dance and enjoy the night without having to stress. Our guests have been non stop raving about the venue and food! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to plan a wedding or any event here!

My husband and I got married here this past October (10/20/19). Myself and all of my guests cannot begin to say how wonderful Patrick and the team at Il Villaggio was! Even just speaking with my other vendors during the wedding planning process, they told me how good the food is and what a great venue we chose. The food was amazing (I seriously couldn't stop thinking about the pasta after our menu tasting and on our wedding night). Weeks after my wedding, my guests were telling us how beautiful our wedding was, how delicious the food and drinks were, and overall that it was a great wedding. Our coordinator, Patrick was super accommodating and easy to work with. I was able to have my dream wedding in a ballroom without it costing me fortune. If you book your wedding here, you will be in good hands I can assure you!!

I always said “I’ll never have my dream wedding because I will never spend that much...” enter Il Villaggio, where all dreams come true for a very reasonable price. It’s been two weeks and all we hear is “that food was amazing” or “I can’t believe how incredible that venue was”. Patrick Lopez is the real VIP who made everything happen... not a detail was missed and every single minute of my wedding day was more spectacular than I thought it would be. My ask? If you have a wedding here, invite me so I can enjoy all of the incredible food!!!!

We had a tough decision choosing a venue because we liked him so much. Best Day Ever Thanks to Il VillaggioOur 8/24/19 Wedding at Il Villaggio was Remarkable thanks to Patrick Lopez and all of the staff! We planned our dream wedding in 6 short months and Patrick was there every step of the way! Our ceremony was on site. It was beautiful, stress-free. The food was OUTSTANDING! The best thing that we could have ever done was enjoy our cocktail hour upstairs in the bridal suite. Every item that our guests enjoyed was also hand served us. The bridal attendant was fantastic, she followed me around holding my bouquet and fixing my dress until it was time to party. I had nothing to worry about. The views and ballroom were absolutely beautiful and made for great pictures. The timing of everything was perfect and our guests raved about the food and the decor. We had the best day of our lives! We got married on July 14, 2019 and had our reception at Il Villaggio. The service was incredible!! I had my own bridal attendant who assisted me with my bustle for my wedding dress and getting my party shoes from upstairs after I was done with the first dance. All our guests RAVED about the food. As soon as we got to the venue, the bride and groom ate upstairs and had a moment of peace and quiet alone before we went downstairs to greet our dress. Also, they wrapped the food we didn’t eat so we can take it home the following day. Also, each table had its own server for drinks and our guests were really happy with how attentive they were. Working with Patrick was very professional and easy, and Patrick and his team made our wedding day amazing, easy and relaxing. The ballroom is beautiful and the way the chandelier lights changed with the music looked amazing. I am so happy we booked our wedding with Il Villaggio and highly recommend to any bride/groom.

We had our dream wedding at Il Villaggio on Sunday January 20th, 2019 (marital bliss made us late to leave this wonderful review). Il Villiaggio was actually the last place we looked at, as we thought this gorgeous and prestigious venue would be out of our budget. But, working with Patrick and some strategic planning, we knew we could make it work and that this was the place for us! With all the stresses of planning a wedding, Il Villiaggio made the process totally easy - from providing all information up front including payment plans, menus for cocktail hour & reception, and table sizes, to suggesting their additional room for the ceremony space AND we even hired The Wedding Boss to be our officiant. After the ceremony, we were ushered upstairs where we feasted on every savory tidbit offered at our cocktail hour (which was wildly appreciated since that was really the only thing we ate all night). From our entrance, to the first dance to the speeches, to the cake cutting, it was the perfect event. Our family and friends were blown away by the beautiful and regal decor of Il Villiaggio as well as the delicious food. Our wedding day had an expected guest, winter storm Harper. Instead of taking home the meals of our guests who could not attend due to the weather, we were welcomed to return on our first wedding anniversary to enjoy a meal at the restaurant. Having our wedding at Il Villiaggio was a dream come true, and we look forward to visit the restaurant as regulars for special occasions.

I don't even know where to begin.. we just had our wedding this past weekend and I'm still trying to take it all in! I wish it never ended, but it all started when we first stepped into the venue and met Patrick. I knew when he showed us the grand ballroom with the beautiful chandeliers that Il Villaggio will be our wedding venue. Patrick kept talking about the service and the food which was one of the most important things I was looking for in a venue. They weren't wrong because on our wedding day they absolutely delivered. The food was just outstanding and I thank them all, especially my bridal attendant, for bringing us all that delicious food during cocktail hour up to our bridal suite. My husband and I were able to enjoy every moment! I'm so happy we chose to do Viennese Dessert Hour because it was just FABULOUS! Our guests kept talking about it and I really loved seeing our youngest guests enjoy the cotton candy station and chocolate fountain! THANK YOU SO MUCH! I also wanted to thank Patrick for being so responsive during the entire year leading up to the wedding and for always responding to my emails whenever I had questions about the smallest things! Thank you so much! We will never forget this day!

My husband and I knew when we walked in the venue September 2017 we wanted to book based on just the look of the venue. Our wedding was 11/17/18. Upon walking in the entrance is stunning, everything is beautifully decorated and that’s before you even get into the ballroom. The ballroom is absolutely breathtaking with the many beautiful crystal chandeliers, spaced out tables so every guest can get up and move around and a stage where we put the DJ so you have an ample dance floor without tripping over wires or having a speaker next to a table. We worked with Patrick for planning our wedding and it was truly a pleasant experience that exceeded all expectations. Patrick was there every step of the way with attentiveness and patience with every question and concern. The day of the wedding, the staff was tremendously unbelievable. Every single staff member was so considerate to our bridal party, our friends and family, and to us even going as far as to clean and bustle my dress. Patrick sent us a day of email with kind words and even fixed my husband’s bow tie and gave a groomsman suspenders when his broke. There is one server per table which is unheard of at certain venues in NY (where we’re from). I have been flooded with calls and texts about how beautiful the venue was, how amazing and abundant the food was and how fun the party was. All the preferred vendors from the venue we went with and truly every single vendor was amazing and made the experience that much better for us. The food from the venue deserves a whole review just on its own. Everyone kept saying leading up to the wedding that the bride and groom are too busy to eat the day of their wedding, however, the staff made sure we had food and enjoyed ourselves. Every detail was thought of and taken care of from the staff so all my husband and I had to do was just enjoy ourselves. There was nothing we wanted for because everything was even better than we could have imagined. We knew we made the right decision booking at Il Villaggio and I’m so grateful they gave us the most memorable night of our lives. If you are looking for an elegant wedding, with impeccable service and amazing food there is no other options go here.

My experience with Il Villaggio was absolutely amazing. Every single staff member goes above and beyond to make your event planning is seem less. My husband and I worked closely with Richard during our wedding planning. Richard was wonderful to work with. He was very knowledgeable, professional and just a joy to work with. Il Villaggio is gorgeously stunning, very very clean, well maintained and a classy place to have a wedding at. The food is phenomenal, and the dessert room is mind blowing. My now husband keeps saying the phrase “We fell in love with the people first, then the place.” Il Villaggio has some of the most caring and warm hearted people working there. Patrick and Richard were just amazing people to know and worked hard with us to make our wedding go smoothly. My husband and I didn’t have a wedding coordinator and were more than happy to help us navigate through our planning. In addition, Patrick doubled as our officiant and our guests just loved his spin on the ceremony. My maitre d’ Leo and bridal attendant Wendy were very tentative, accommodating and would make changes to the schedule as the wedding was happening without hesitation. Also, the owner of the venue (I am terribly sorry, I cannot remember his name right now) radiates warmth with his smile and kind voice. These people are amazing.As for the place, this was one of the nicest, most elegant, and just simply amazing places I’ve ever been to. Great food, amazingly high ceilings, spacious ballrooms and main gathering space. Even the lighting setup in the main ballroom just blew my guests away. In addition, the food was phenomenal. There was so much of it and everything was incredibly delicious. Also, and I found this out at the end when I went to gather my belongings the next day, this venue donates centerpieces that are not collected to the nearby nursing home. Too many feels hit my heart. I can’t say enough great things about this place. Thank you so much for making my wedding special and giving my guests the time of their lives.

We were married on 6/16/18 and booked Il Villaggio for our wedding after visiting four NJ venues in one weekend. For us, Il Villaggio stood out from the crowd for several reasons: its elegant appearance, its size, its selections of food and presentation options, and their sales manager, Richard. Richard was very courteous, knowledgeable, and accommodating to us throughout the entire process, and really made booking with Il Villaggio a no-brainer. We had several things to bring to the venue before the reception, including favors for over 180 people, and Richard was a big help in allowing us to do this several days beforehand, even keeping the favors in a cool, dry place (chocolates were included, so this was important). Richard helped coordinate the food tasting as well, and if we weren't already impressed by the ambiance of the venue and professionalism of everyone involved, the food spoke for itself. It is absolutely delicious, and the only regret we have is that we weren't able to taste everything on the night of the reception! Maybe Richard will let us crash a future wedding to sample their cocktail hour…When the big day finally came, Il Villaggio delivered and really lived up to its reputation as a premier venue in New Jersey. Richard, the wait staff, the maître d, the bridal attendant, and everyone else were on top of their games. Everyone had a great time and could not stop praising the food, service, and atmosphere. Everything went so smoothly and we are very appreciative of the professionalism that made it possible. Thanks very much!

A little late on a review, but that just goes to show that it meant so much I haven't forgotten! My husband and I got married in June of 2017. We booked our venue in January of 2016, we shopped 20 different venues but the second we walked into this one- it was different. White glove service from the second you walk in just to shop the venue. Patrick was our go to for everything. He worked with us on all of our needs (especially our food allergies). Our entire engagement we were in constant contact. Anytime I had a question, and emailed Patrick- he answered it in just minutes. The customer service was outstanding. The day of our wedding was perfect, and we owe the party all to Il Villaggio. The room is perfect, tall ceilings, an amazing lighting package (highly recommend), and the food! The food was incredible, every guest of ours still raves about the bar service, the cocktail hour, dinner and venetian hour. Every waiter made sure every drink was always full, every guest was attended to. Ralph and Patrick- thank you so much for everything along the way. You could not have done better!

It has almost been a year since our wedding reception at Il Villaggio & me, my husband, & our guests still can’t stop talking about how amazing that night was. From the service to the food to the overall ambiance & vibe, every minute & detail was expertly orchestrated with the help of all the members of the staff. I came across Il Villaggio randomly when I was searching for wedding venues. I saw all the glowing reviews about the food, service & a gentleman named Patrick so we decided to schedule an appt to check out the venue & see what the fuss was about.Thank goodness for honest reviews. We were blown away by the level of service that Patrick provided during the wedding planning process. He was incredibly responsive to all of our questions & needs. We had a couple budget constraints, but he was very accommodating & understanding. The best part was that we never felt pressured to go with Il Villaggio. He even gave us pointers during our search & told us that “When you find the right venue, you’ll know.” After that meeting, we knew that Il Villaggio was the one for us & we’re so glad we made that decision.In the days leading up to the reception, we were a bit nervous about all the coordinating, but Patrick put us at ease & made sure all the vendors & decorations were collected & in place. Come the day of the reception, Patrick greeted us & assured us that everything will be taken care of & to enjoy the night. Elona, our wedding assistant & Alex, the maitre d’ were the MVPs - they took care of us from beginning to end & we cannot thank them enough for all the support they provided.Lastly, the food was absolutely incredible! We still dream about the tortellini & stuffed chicken! Our guests still rave about the copious amounts of delicious food served during cocktail hour & dinner. Selecting this venue was by far one of the best decisions my, now, husband and I could have ever made to start the beginning of our life together. The venue is beautiful. It was perfect for our March 4, 2018 wedding because it can accommodate everything indoors (ceremony included). It was exclusive because they only host one wedding at a time, so we had the whole place to ourselves. They have 3 separate rooms so no change over required between cocktail hour and reception. The prices were reasonable. The food selection is great and the food is delicious. Most importantly, the service...from Patrick, who helped us organize everything, to the staff the day of, was outstanding. I highly recommend checking out this venue. It was perfect for us and our guests.

We booked the Il Villaggio with Patrick, who really is the “Wedding Boss.” He made the total planning process as easy as possible and accommodated any special requests we asked. The Il Villaggio is STUNNING inside and left all our guests in awe as soon as they walked in. Beyond the interior is the excellent food and service. Coming from an Italian background food is key, it better be good and plentiful and Il Villaggio offered just that. We had a full 1.5 hour cocktail, reception, and of course full Venetian hour. We can’t stop hearing how delicious the food and how beautiful our reception was. We are so happy we booked Il Villaggio! We look forward to having our future events there! My husband Kyle and I were married at the Il Villaggio this past Friday night. (2/16/18) We don't even know where to start. If we could give this venue 10 stars we would! From the first day we walked into the venue it just felt right. Richard was so easy to work with and so accommodating! He made sure he executed every last detail we wanted perfectly. He stayed in contact and always payed close attention to detail. Patrick married us and everyone is raving about how fun and professional the ceremony was. The food was unreal. Our guests haven't stopped messaging and calling us about the cocktail hour and dessert! Everyone has told us it was the best wedding they have ever been to from the ceremony to the food and ambiance. We can't thank Richard, Patrick and their team at the Il Villaggio enough for making our wedding night the absolute best night of our lives!!! I would recommend this venue over and over and over again!! I'm hoping we can attend a wedding there some day so we can enjoy it as guests too Thank you Richard for the wedding of our dreams and being such a pleasure to plan with!!!

I knew from the moment I walked into Il Villagio that it was the venue that I wanted to hold my wedding at. My husband and I worked with Richard and from day one he made the entire process of planning my wedding effortless. He was amazing to work with. The staff was amazing and they were truly on their A-game making my wedding day stressless. Wendy and Leo were amazing making sure I had everything I needed at that moment. If you want quality food, this is the place. There was not one dish that was presented that was not delicious. Everyone gave me amazing compliments on how great my cocktail hour and main dishes were, although I didn’t have anything to do with the taste of the food. Honestly, Il Villagio will make your wedding day fantastic and memorable and the best yet, stress free. They make you feel like you are their only priority. You will not be disappointed. I will not miss planning my wedding but I will truly miss working with Richard and the staff at Il Villagio, because of them it was one aspect of my wedding I did not have to worry about. The are the greatest!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Il Villaggio on October 20, 2017 and it was an amazing day! Some of the biggest things that drew us to Il Villaggio as a couple were:- customer service...our coordinator, Richard, was there the entire time during our reception. There was also a captain, one waiter per table, our very own bridal attendant for my husband and I who was with us from the moment we walked to the moment we left. - amazing food- ambiance- word of mouth... seriously, mention that you're looking at Il Villaggio and someone you know has been to a wedding there or they knew someone who went to a wedding here and said it was the best time ever.- outstanding cocktail hour- premium open bar for 5 hours- wedding cake was included in the price of the venue, as well as an ice sculpture- priceReasons why our guests loved Il Villaggio:- bridal suite...this is coming more from our bridal party, as we had plenty of room to touch up on make-up and hair, change shoes, work on entrance dance moves and relax. There is also a Juliette balcony that was perfect for photo opportunities- everyone loved the food and you get a lot of it! From cocktail hour, to the main course to the dessert, we heard nothing but great reviews from our guests- space...in addition to the rooms where you have cocktail hour and the reception, there is also a huge bar and lounge where guests can sit and get away for a bit if they don't feel like being in the ballroom, though people were rarely out there once the party started- big dance floorI truly loved having our reception at Il Villaggio. Richard and the rest of the staff made it very easy for me, as the bride. I had a couple of things I wanted set up for decorations and Richard said not to worry, send a picture of how you want it set up and we'll set it up for you. When we would meet with Richard, he always had answers to my questions and just overall made planning the reception very easy. I did not have to worry about a single thing on the actual wedding day and for that I cannot recommend Il Villaggio enough! My husband and I can't wait for someone else we know to get married here so we can come back for another wedding. Thank you so much to Richard, Patrick and Leo for making this an amazing day!

My husband and I first met Patrick and Alex at a bridal expo and we both knew right away that Il Villaggio was was a location we wanted to look at. As soon as we came in and saw the hall, we knew it was the one. Patrick was amazing to work with and very accommodating. I'm originally from NJ but now live in CT so all our of meetings had to be held on the weekends. The day of the wedding, I was excited to see Alex as our maitre d’ and Elona was my bridal attendant. From the moment we arrived to the moment the night ended, Alex and Elona were right by our side in case we needed anything. I had a little bit of issue with the bustle in my dress, but Elona was right there to solve the issue. I can truly say that I had my dream wedding thanks to the staff at Il Villaggio. The cocktail hour was incredible. The food was the most delicious food I've ever had and the Ice Sculpture was beautiful. Then we went onto the reception and the room was spectacular. Dinner was just as delicious and everything went flawlessly!Our guests are still talking about our wedding as the best wedding they have ever been too! I feel truly blessed to have had my dream wedding all thanks to Il Villaggio!

I got married here on 11/10/17 and I do not even have words for the experience I had. From start to finish was absolutely amazing. I booked with Rich and he was beyond accommodating. The looks of the venue, the amazing food, strong drinks, and staff made my day one to remember. We did have the dessert room which extended the wedding by an extra hour. WELL WORTH THE MONEY!!! The next morning everyone was raving about how much food was there for both cocktail hour and dessert and how amazing it was. The staff even cleaned up all my extras and had them waiting for me the next morning. I have been to many wedding and been a bridesmaid in 9 weddings. This place tops them all!

Choosing a venue was probably one of the most difficulties I had. I been to a lot of venues but what separated Il Villaggio from the rest was Patrick. He was very up front and honest about what Il Villaggio can offer us. I can go on an on about the place but what was most important was the experience. I have been to tons of weddings and experienced it from a guest side so to have to pleasure of not only myself and my groom be catered to but my guest as well was a wow moment. My guest talked about the staff and how they felt being catered to. This place goes above and beyond so you will not have to worry about anything. Best place in my book.

If I could give Il Villaggio ten stars, I would! We worked with Richard and he was the best. Gave us our dream wedding within our budget. The food is simply excellent. ALL of our guests told us throughout the wedding how good the food was and could not believe we still had a full dinner after cocktail hour. Richard was so easy to work with, he made everything as stress free as possible for us. We had a problem with our florist and our Chuppah was not made out of birch wood, which was very important to my husband from his childhood home. Patrick (who we barely even worked with) took his car and cut down a birch tree and had it put on our Chuppah for us!!!! If that is not going \"above and beyond, \" I don't know what is. The ballroom is spectacular, staff is super attentive and food amazing. Not one bad thing I could say about our experience at Il Villaggio! We highly recommend it and can't wait for another occasion to celebrate at Il Villaggio in the future.

If you're searching for a venue to have your wedding, you can stop right now. Il Villaggio is absolutely the place to book. There were several reasons my husband (yay!) and I picked Il Villaggio. First, it was really easy to get to. Next, everyone raved and praised the food there. The place was absolutely gorgeous. The lighting system was incredible. But most of all, it was the general manager, Patrick. I wanted to work with someone who I could trust with my wedding. As theater people, my husband and I know how to produce shows and performances. If something went wrong, I needed someone who could fix it without anyone realizing it. I needed someone calm, collected and in control. Patrick was that guy. And we did not regret this choice. Patrick was an absolute joy to work with throughout the entire planning process. He catered to my requests at all times; he was so easy to talk to; it was incredibly easy to get a hold of him, and he was just so wonderful and down to earth. The day of the wedding was the real test. Il Villaggio, Patrick and the staff passed with flying colors and went above and beyond. My day could not have gone more perfect. Everything was incredible! We had Alex as our maitre d and Enma as my bridal attendant. Those two were absolutely wonderful. Alex always keep me informed and made everything run so smoothly. He catered to my every wish and command, and so did Enma. They made me feel like a princess. The food was fantastic; everyone enjoyed it all. The lighting was superb. It was literally the best day of my life, and it wouldn't have been like that if we were anywhere else, but Il Villaggio. I firmly believe that. Go check the place out, meet Patrick and see for yourself. It'll be the best decision you'll ever make when it comes to your wedding.

Il villagio review The price Patrick was a delight to work with. He sat down with us and built us a reasonably priced package with exactly what we needed. The setup and decor The hall has a restaurant attached which has no impact on the wedding night. They hold only 1 wedding a night which is nice (you don't run into random people). The cocktail room is beautiful. The main room is gorgeous with its high ceilings and elegant chandeliers (capable of nice lighting effects). The staff Patrick and his staff were extremely accommodating. Patrick was kind enough to allow us to do our own center piece and decorations (stage) the night before and morning of. His staff was very helpful with helping us set up the day of and we heard compliments from all of our guests on how attentive, prompt, and kind they were during the event. The food The food was the best part. From our cocktail our to our dinner and vianese our guests were all very happy with the food and presentation. During cocktail hour we had carving stations, pastas, lamb chops - (Mediterranean station) it was all very tasty. For the dinner they also were able to accommodate us with a special middle eastern rice to accompany the meat dish. I think we had guests rolling out of there LOL. Il Villaggio created the perfect atmosphere for our wedding on Thursday 3/31/16 . There are not enough nice things to say about this place. We were blown away by how Patric & his staff were able to transform our dream into reality. Everything from the ballroom, to the cocktail hour rooms, to the amazing ice sculpture! The lighting really made that room shine even more!! In addition to the beauty of the venue, the staff is just amazing. From day one, Patrick was professional, friendly, and organized. We never had to worry about anything going into our wedding. You can tell that he knows the business very well and offered great suggestions. Myself being a wedding planner, i'm sure i came off extremely OCD lol but Patrick and the staff made everything look picture perfect even with my million details. Just when you thought it couldn't have gotten any better, our guests are continuing to rave about the food. The selection and quality of food from cocktail hour to dessert is what makes this venue better than the rest! The presentation was perfect and the taste was just delicious, it simply cannot be beat! My fiancé and I recently looked here during our search for wedding venues. Although we didn't wind up booking this venue we felt the need to leave a review on how wonderful the general manager, Patrick , was when we met with him. He was by far the warmest, genuine and most down to earth person that we had met with out of all the places we had been. He gave us great advice, was thorough, and not pushy. We were looking for a venue that had more outside grounds which is why we didn't go with this place, however my fiancé and I both said that there was no doubt in our minds that Patrick and staff would go above and beyond in order to provide their bride and groom with an exceptional wedding.

The first day we met with Patrick we knew Il Villaggio was going to be where we had our wedding, and we knew we were in the best of hands. The planning was seamless and everything we visioned was executed perfectly, include our personalized Transformers Autobot Ice sculpture. The elegant ambiance and exceptional service that we receive was above and beyond all of our expectations. The food was out of this world amazing, and even better the next day with the abundant left overs we were able to bring home with us. I would like to also extend a personal thank you to Enma and Bailey, my two outstanding bridal attendants. They were on point with everything and always right there ready and willing to help with every single detail. You all were able to make our vision and our dream wedding a reality, and for that we are eternally grateful. The evening was absolutely magical, enchanting, and by far the best night of our lives! We cannot overstate how happy we were with Il Villaggio and the staff there. They were so accommodating to menu changes, guest number changes, and changes during the reception. Richard walked us through every detail in such a relaxing way that we were not overwhelmed at all. My Maitre d' was always by my side when I needed him but never overwhelmed me. He walked us through everything from the cake cutting to changing the order of our reception. My bridal attendant was superb. She stayed by my side and did anything that needed to be done, and had excellent advice for anything I wasn't sure about. The facilities are gorgeous of course and the food was fantastic. We got nothing but compliments from everyone about the food and decor. Everyone thought we spent way more than we did! It snowed on our wedding and the attendants were so gracious cleaning the snow off everyone's cars, walking guests to their cars and helping any way they could. Our pictures turned out gorgeous outside in the courtyard! We couldn't have imagined a more perfect day and the wonderful people at Il Villaggio made it possible.

My husband and I had our wedding reception on October 1, 2016 and we are STILL getting compliments on how gorgeous the venue was, on how DELICIOUS the food was, and how the service was absolutely EXCEPTIONAL! We worked with Patrick from the start. He always made himself available to my husband and I. Patrick gave my husband and I a tour of all the rooms and we were just blown away as soon as we entered the ballroom. After walking into this room, we just knew we had to have our wedding here! We reviewed the menu and other special options and knew that we were getting the absolute best value for the best price. On our wedding day, Patrick introduced us to Alex, our maitre d’ and Elona, the bridal attendant. Alex and Patrick made sure everything ran smoothly. Elona was amazing! She was always there to help with the dress and shoes; she made sure my husband and I ate and always had a beverage; and she even suggested the best areas around the venue for pictures, which we were very grateful for. The cocktail hour was OUTSTANDING! Our guest were so impressed with how much food there was and how amazing everything tasted. Dinner was cooked to perfection! And the Viennese hour…our guests just could not get over how many different options they had for dessert! Many guests have complimented my husband and I on throwing the “best wedding they have ever been to,” but we know that would not have been possible without the amazing team Il Villaggio provided us on our special day. We cannot thank Patrick, Alex, Elona and the rest of the Il Villaggio team enough for exceeding our expectations and making our wedding dreams come true! AMAZING! Absolutely beyond incredible. My wedding was the most fantastic night of my life and I have so many people at Il Villaggio to thank for that. Rich worked diligently with me and my family as we planned the big day for a year and a half. He worked with my father with pricing and kept it more than fair when we didn't quite meet our minimum at the last minute. Alex and Illona were superb on the wedding day. We had an issue with our limo driver demanding more money after he dropped us off and Alex and co were great- they handled the situation for my husband and I and sorted it all out for us so we didn't need to be bothered with his rude behavior. Illona was so caring and helpful during the night, especially when I unfortunately suffered an hour of heat stroke (it was 90 degrees that day!). The food was positively incredible and people are STILL talking about it 4 months later! Not to mention the venue is extremely beautiful- the chandeliers were my favorite! My family, husband, and I were so impressed (and still are) with this venue and I couldn't be happier. We plan to celebrate every anniversary eating here. I wish I could say more but I'd go on all day! :)

We booked Il Villaggio almost 2 years in advance after visiting a few other wedding venues. Our initial meeting was with Richard. He gave us a tour of all the rooms and we were just blown away. Their ballroom with the gorgeous chandeliers, high ceiling, and up-lighting left us speechless. We looked at each other thinking that Il Villaggio must definitely be more expensive than other places we visited but after sitting down with Richard and reviewing the menu and inclusive options we knew we were getting THE BEST value. Richard is amazing! He was always available and accommodating throughout the planning process. One month before the big day we were invited for a food tasting and could bring 4 guests. All of the food options were phenomenal and it definitely helped plan our menu. On our wedding day the venue was breathtaking. When we arrived we were greeted by Richard who introduced us to Alex, our maitre d' and Elona, the bridal attendant. They treated us like royalty. Alex made sure everything went smoothly and was incredibly easy to get along with. Elona was a lifesaver, always there to help with the dress and bouquet, keep us fed, and she even suggested the best areas around the venue for pictures. The cocktail hour was EPIC! Dinner was on another level. Our guests were blown away by the entire reception and are still talking about the quality and variety of food, especially the Viennese hour. Someone even commented that our wedding was the one to be at...and we know that Il Villaggio had a lot to do with it. We would like to thank Richard, Alex, Elona and the rest of the Il Villaggio team for greatly exceeding our expectations and making our dream wedding reception reality. Starting almost 12 months earlier, we had the absolute pleasure of being introduced to Rich, Ralph, Patrick and the rest of the OUTSTANDING staff at Il Villaggio. From the get-go, they make you feel like King and Queen, and as if you are their one-and-only priority. This amazing customer service is only the beginning. The atmosphere, gorgeous facility and food that is second-to-none puts Il Villaggio over the TOP! From custom created cocktail hour stations, to personalized lighting themes (on their AMAZING cutting-edge lighting system), they ensured we had everything our hearts could desire. Our guests were WOW’ed every step of the evening; starting with being greeted at the door with their first cocktail, bountiful and unique cocktail-hour, single waiter per-table service, all the way until they were handed coffee and zeppoli's on the way out! I hope to convey as many of the positives of my experience choosing Il Villaggio as my wedding venue as possible to future brides. I knew I wanted a ballroom. No other place had ceilings as high with grand chandeliers. We met with Patrick, and he was the most professional and knowledgeable of any banquet manager we had met. He was efficient with time, ran us through how our wedding day would flow out, and answered all questions when going through the venues services and menu options. I knew from first meeting Patrick he wasn’t the type to sugar coat information; likewise, he didn’t put you in a position where you felt you had to throw money left and right to have the perfect day – he told you everything how it is based on his many years of experience. Whenever we stopped at Il Villaggio, he would ask how everything was going with the vendors and what we were currently doing with them. He was very good at remembering what we were up to considering how many clients he must have at a time.With your cocktail hour, you realize how much and the variety of food you get at Il Villaggio. Everyone looks forward to the cocktail hour, and I was so pleased with the number of passed hors d'oeuvres and both traditional and innovative food stations that were included in our package. Coming up to the wedding, Patrick had provided us with a list of everything that was needed, as well as some suggested items, to bring to the venue. We made one trip to get everything off our hands and talked about what would go where and any last minute requests.The morning of our wedding, Patrick was there early to let me and the girls into the bridal suite to do our hair and makeup. He was quietly there to help as needed in the morning and introduced us to Alex and Agnes who would also make the show happen. Once the reception started, the whole team let us know they were connected and able to help us at the drop of a hat. We really felt like celebrities.The wedding party arrived at Il Villaggio about 15 minutes before cocktail hour, and some of our guests had already arrived from the shuttle. Not only was the bar open, but they had the cocktail hour open and folks were already enjoying themselves. Once we were introduced, we made our way to greet our guests, and were occasionally stopped to be chatted with. But without being intrusive, Alex would let us know what was coming next, what we might like to do, and when we had some down time to eat for a few minutes and actually enjoy a few bites of our meals! It made the evening way less stressful.The best part was getting pulled aside to have a peak at the Viennese table before they opened it to guests. We had told Patrick we both love pumpkin and he surprised us with pumpkin tarts and pumpkin shooters at the Viennese hour. I was really blown away by the extra thought. It is the difference from doing your job and going above and beyond the couples expectations.You will not be disappointed with the value at Il Villaggio. I had seen so many venues, some of which offered the same (or frankly less), in terms of food at higher cost. The amount of compliments, and more so the degree of praise I received from family members further assured me I had a fabulous wedding. If someone didn’t have a good time, they wouldn’t tell you what specifically made the day special or what a member of the staff did for them just to be nice. Get the lighting package, add the Viennese Table. I’m so happy we did. Thanks Patrick & Il VIllaggio!

We had our Wedding at il Villaggio's a few days ago. I could write pages on how great the experience but I will summarize. On my first call in the owner Ralph answered and explained how they conduct weddings I can be very picky but I immediately knew this was where we would get married. The pricing is very but more importantly easier to understand. Other venues I called have several tiers they offer with tons of nickel and dime fees they add on. Villaggio's offers world class food and premium liquor at a very fair price. No up charges for additional services, they even include a cake. Richard handled our event and made us comfortable through the whole planning process. During the Event Richard, Alex (Maitre'd), and Alona (Bridal Attendant) made the process seamless. Patrick did an excellent job as our officiant. They accommodated last minute changes, fulfilled every request and we always available for us. We enjoyed amazing food, friendly and efficient wait staff and the service was flawless. No other venue can compare to il Villagio's. Thank You Ralph, Richard, Alex, Alona and Patrick for making our absolutely outstanding. Every guest said this was the best Wedding they had ever attended.

My husband and I got married at Il Villaggio on July 8, 2016. Everything was absolutely perfect! We worked with Richard and he was wonderful. He was very helpful throughout the whole process. He promptly responded to my many emails, and was always willing to meet and discuss every little detail with us. He even went as far as to help us when we didn't come close to our guaranteed number. We guaranteed 140 people, but we only had 120 guests. Il Villaggio only charged us for 125, which we were so thankful for. Richard really went above and beyond throughout the whole process. The reception itself was amazing!!! We were greeted at the door of the limo bus by Richard, Leo, and the bridal attendant, which we really appreciated. The food was unbelievable!! Everything from the cocktail hour was brought up to us in the bridal suite, so we got to taste everything. Every single guest raved about the food. There was a lot of food and it was all spectacular. The main ballroom is breathtaking!! The chandeliers are spectacular. All of our guests were in awe. The service was also amazing! All the servers and bartenders were very attentive. The servers brought drinks to the tables, and there was never a line at the bar. All of our guests had a great time!All in all, Il Villaggio made our dream wedding a reality! It was so much more than we hoped for. It was an amazing day and our guests continue to rave about Il Villaggio - how beautiful it is and how amazing the food was.

Where can I even start with Il Villaggio? They were an absolute dream from beginning to end. Meeting with Patrick to set everything up was a breeze, he was flexible, accommodating and a great person all around. He made planning our wedding there not only easy, but enjoyable. Everything we were expecting the day to be was far exceeded thanks to Patrick and his team. They set up the place exactly as we had asked, and even exceeded our expectations. We had a bridal attendant, Oliviette, who I swear was a ninja. Every time you needed her she was ten steps ahead of you already working on it. From helping with the bustle of my dress to covering my dress with napkins while she made sure I ate, to even making sure my hair and dress were perfect whenever we were taking pictures. She was really there whenever you needed her. I can't thank her enough, I didn't have to think about anything I needed as she was always one step ahead of me! Next, the Maitre d was ON TOP of everything. He keep the party running smoothly and went above and beyond any expectations. At one point my niece was being fussy and needed a nap and a bottle. He brought my brother up to the suite, brought them milk for the baby and their entrees up there for them to eat. They really care about everyone having a great time and being as comfortable as possible. Lastly, the food, drinks, and venue itself.... two months later everyone is still talking about it!! The food is INCREDIBLE. From the cocktail hour to the main course and the Viennese hour everything was absolutely delicious!! The quality and the presentation of the food is truly impressive. Thanks to Il Villaggio, I actually felt like I enjoyed my day and lived in the moment. They thought of everything and took all the stress off my groom and I. They even set up a sweetheart table in the Viennese room to make sure we didn't get caught up and experiences all the desserts! I can't recommend this place enough! You will have the day of your dreams!

If I could give Il Villaggio more than 5 stars I would! My husband and I are so happy that we decided to take a friend’s recommendation and visit Il Villaggio. From the first minute to the last Patrick was absolutely amazing and helped to make it the best day ever! Not only was he accommodating with changes we had along the way, but Patrick went above and beyond to make us feel less like clients and more like family. One month later and our friends and family still can’t say enough about the food! It was so good and there was so much! The ballroom was absolutely beautiful the night of the wedding, and the staff was spot on! Patrick runs a tight ship and there was not one detail missed. We were nothing but impressed.

The team at Il Villaggio is absolutely amazing at what they do. Everything was set beautifully per our selections and the staff was courteous and efficient; they had a level of professionalism that went beyond what we hoped for. Patrick was a huge part of the reason we chose Il Villaggio. He made us feel at ease and made us feel he truly cared about every detail of our wedding, as much as we did. On the big day, everything went so smoothly! The maire d and bridal assistant were on point. The bridal assistant in particular was quite amazing, servicing the entire bridal suite without ever losing her smile. The food was amazing and the service was even better. Would highly recommend.

Had our wedding on May 26 2016. Where do we start? From the beginning when we first started looking at halls (and I mean a lot of halls) in November of 2014, il Villaggio was first class and completely professional all the way. Patrick and his staff worked hand and hand with my now wife and I with ever detail of the wedding.Five days before the wedding we ran into a problem with a photobooth company and Patrick immediately called up a photobooth company that he had dealt with before and set everything up for us within minutes. It was very nerve racking to have a problem like that just days before the wedding but Patrick eased our stress quickly.The day of our wedding couldn't have gone better for us! Between the service and the food it was incredible. Our guests are still raving about the food and how quick it was to get a drink. The bridal attendant and Maitre D' along with Patrick were there any time we needed them. They weren't in the way and anytime I lost my drink when I left to go on the dance floor they were right there to get me a new one. The food was unbelievable. Between the different varieties and the taste it really was first class. Top shelf liquor was a big hit with plenty of our guests. The coordination between our DJ and the staff was seamless. We added an extra hour with the Venetian hour and although I don't eat the sweets my wife and guests couldn't stop raving about it. They also made us an ice sculpture with billiard balls and pool sticks as we're both big pool players. Patrick and his staff literally made our big day the best day of our lives. Everything was perfect and we couldn't have picked a better hall and staff.Thank you so much Patrick and your staff for a perfect night! I believe it's obvious now but we strongly recommend il Villaggio to anyone looking at wedding halls!

I can't thank Richard and Patrick enough for the most amazing wedding imaginable. I am going to preface this review by saying that both my husband and I are vegan, which of course makes planning a wedding more complicated. Needless to say, searching for a venue was difficult. We went to multiple venues in the North Jersey area only to be met with a bunch of nos or individuals who did not sound like they would be willing to work with us or help accommodate us. One of our last locations to check was Il Villaggio, where we met with Richard for the first time. He was the first one to tell us \"that shouldn't be a problem at all.\" And it was magic after that. We were both relieved to hear that they could meet our requests, but became even more excited to hear everything else that would be included for our big day. This venue pretty much does it all. They handle food and lighting, provided suggested vendors that they knew would make the day perfect, offered fantastic attendants to make the evening stress free, and were available to answer questions all throughout the process. It was absolutely a pleasure being able to plan the day with them. They were able to work around my crazy schedule with no problem to accommodate food tastings, item drop offs, menu review, or random drop ins to look at the venue space. And even with last minute details we had brought to the venue, someone was always there to make sure that everything was perfect and where it needed to be. Everyone keeps raving about how this was the best wedding they had ever been to! Food was plentiful and perfect, not to mention people were thrilled to hear about all the available top shelf liquor available. It was nuts that literally anything I could ask for they brought to me. We were able to work with Richard to make sure that certain items on the standard menu could be adjusted to our dietary needs, so that we could have options for ourselves throughout the night. He worked with the chefs and went through different recipes with us to craft the perfect vegan options that we and a few other guests could enjoy. And the selections were magnificent! All guests were able to get what they wanted. There were so many options at cocktail hour that some guests thought it was the main meal, which made it a big surprise when they got to the reception room to be met with delicious appetizers and entrees. We even paid for a dessert hour, and they managed to be able to pull off some additional vegan desserts outside of the cake we had purchased. I got to enjoy waffles and ice cream, cake...no one went home hungry that night. Not even me or my husband. It was so nice having the team at Il Villaggio handle the evening for us. There was not a single moment where I felt uncomfortable or worried. They handled the schedule. Made sure everyone was lined up for the reception entrance and they organized all of our vendors. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS VENUE! If you are looking for perfection, you can't get better than this place. These owners care about you and they want you to enjoy your special day. I will never forget this night or how professional and fun it was to plan this night with Richard. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making this the best day of my life. Thank you for handling all the big and small details. Thank you for making this easy because I never thought I could get anything even remotely close to what I got that night. I am so glad I found you guys.

When we first met with Patrick the comfort we felt is not even explainable- he WANTED to provide us with our dream wedding. The rooms are absolutely intimate and elegant and absolutely amazing. The night of the wedding we were greater by my Bridal Attendant Agnes, Our Matre'd Alex, Patrick, Ralph (the owner) and Rich .Agnes was beyond what i could have ever asked for- she was at my side the entire night to make sure i was happy. The FOOD is to DIE FOR. The entire team was there to do anything we needed to make sure it was the most special day of our lives and it was. I looked at a handful of places before heading over to Il Villaggio and from the second I pulled up to the venue I had a feeling that this was the one I needed to have my wedding at. I walked into the venue and was greeted by Patrick Lopez. He was extremely friendly and professional. We began discussing what I had in mind for my wedding as we toured the space and I instantly fell in love and caught myself smiling so large. Patrick is extremely knowledgeable and experienced when it comes to executing weddings. With Patrick by my side for the entire planning process, I never had to stress about a thing. He was extremely responsive and was always ten steps ahead of me on what we needed to do. Knowing that he was handling all the important details left me with little stress since I knew that it would be done in the exact way I had pictured it. We got married on site by their on site officiant and then went right to the reception where the space and food just blew my guests away. I can't say enough great things about this venue and the staff at Il Villaggio. The staff truly loves doing their job and you can see that. They are very attentive and all have such great personalities. I can't even begin to express my gratitude for the bridal attendant. She was helping me before I even knew I needed help! I cannot thank Il Villaggio and Patrick Lopez enough for fulfilling my dreams. I have made life long connections at Il Villaggio and cannot wait to go back for our anniversaries to see them and have a bite to eat at their restaurant! My guests are still raving about our wedding back in August 2015 and they wish we could go back and do it all over again! If you are looking for a venue that is reliable, high quality staff, high quality food, and an absolutely beautiful space then don't pass on this venue. I promise it won't disappoint!

We chose Il Villaggio for our wedding on 11/21/15 and we were so happy we did! We worked with Patrick from start to finish and he was excellent! He was so helpful and easy to work with, making planning stress free. He was always available to answer questions and he even gave us excellent vendor recommendations. We didn't even have to search for an officiant for our ceremony, Patrick was one! The day of the wedding the staff at Il Villaggio went above and beyond our expectations. Alex (our maitre d) and Agnes (our bridal attendant) were amazing. They were on top of everything and the entire night went on without one single glitch! Anything we needed, it was taken care of before we even had to ask! Patrick, Alex and Agnes took care of us the whole night making sure we ate and got to enjoy or night, on top of coordinating staff, vendors, guests and our bridal party. This review is WAY overdue! It has been 4 months since we had our wedding at IL Villaggio (Sorry Patrick & Richard). This venue is absolutely gorgeous!! From the service to the food to the drinks, absolutely AMAZING!!!! Patrick and Richard and the rest of the staff, were great to work with. Planning a wedding in 5 months was not an easy task, but Richard and Patrick handled our wedding planning craze in a cool, smooth and professional manner, from beginning to end. Your wedding day is the most stressful day of your life, but they made me feel at ease. On our wedding day, Alex and Agnes (Bridal Attendants) were by my side the entire time. Agnes, was super nice and so helpful to my every need the entire time. Alex did all the running around making sure everything was in order. The entire staff is very nice, coordinated with time and had lots of patience throughout the night. Thank you so much for your undivided attention. Honestly, if you want to be treated like Royalty for one day, IL Villaggio is the place. It also helps that IL Villaggio holds only one wedding event per booking, which means, all focus is on you. \r\rIt’s now been 4 months since we got married and I am still receiving phone calls about the service they received, the liquor (which was top notch) and the best food they ever had at a wedding.There are no words to express how incredibly thankful I am of the IL Villaggio staff. Having our wedding at Il Villaggio was the best decision we've ever made. From the start, the banquet manager, Patrick, was so helpful and accommodating and it was clear he knew what he was doing. The day of the wedding, I had the bridal attendant, Elona, who was seriously the sweetest girl. She was by my side all night helping with whatever I wanted or needed. When we got to the venue we were so eager to get to our cocktail hour. Elona said to trust her and go to the bridal suite so we can eat. She brought up every single cocktail hour item to us where we were able to enjoy them in peace upstairs in the gorgeous and spacious bridal suite with our friends. Sure enough when we went down to cocktail hour, everyone wanted to say hi and we barely were able to walk around the room let alone eat anything - I am so glad I listened to her! All night, she, Leo and Patrick were there whenever we needed anything. They orchestrated a smoothly run event and our guests have not stopped complimenting us. From the gorgeous ballroom, to the most amazing food and wonderful service, our guests left full, happy and exhausted (which is a good thing!) I truly wish I could relive the night as a guest at my wedding to fully appreciate this amazing venue. I can only hope some of my single guests will choose Il Villaggio after our wedding, so that we have the chance to go back! In the meantime, we'll have to visit their restaurant to enjoy their delicious food!

Even though it has been three months since our wedding at Il Villaggio, we still have to give the BIGGEST shout out to General Manager Patrick Lopez and his entire team for our fabulous wedding. Our friends and family are still raving about the intimate ceremony, delicious cocktail hour and exquisite reception. From the very beginning Patrick was very accommodating and professional. My husband and I visited four other venues before going to Il Villaggio and from the very first meeting with Patrick there was no doubt in our minds that Il Villaggio is where we wanted our wedding to be. Patrick even performed our wedding ceremony onsite.\r \rPatrick made the entire planning process a total breeze. He was very easy to dialog with and always very responsive whenever we reached out to him. To be very honest I was totally calm on my wedding day which I know is not the norm for most brides. Elona was my bridal attendant for the day and she totally made me feel like a queen catering to my every need even when I didn’t realize I had one! She is that fantastic!! Patrick and Alex and the rest of the team ran the entire wedding like a smooth operation. We were very impressed with how every detail of the evening was handled. We choose Il Villaggio for our July 17, 2015 wedding. When people tell you that you just know...you know. That is exactly how we felt when we entered Il Villaggio. The place is beautiful and the food is amazing. The quality of food is excellent and their desserts are delicious. Patrick and his staff are wonderful. They are very attentive and will do everything to make your day run smoothly. I can't begin to tell you how happy we are with how everything turned out. We would not change a thing. Patrick is extremely pleasant and awesome to work with. They are definitely reasonably priced and nothing is sacrificed. I definitely recommend using Il Villaggio for your venue...you will not be disappointed. We definitely look forward to dealing with Patrick and his staff again!

We visited over 10 venues and out of all of them, we knew in our hearts Il Villaggio was the ideal place for us (and we were right!). We worked closely with Patrick since day one and by the end of our wedding night, we considered him as family. He was not only such a pleasure to work with, but made my entire vision and dreams come to life. Patrick, Alex and the ENTIRE staff at Il Villaggio were INCREDIBLE! We had our wedding reception at Il Villaggio on June 5, 2015. It was honestly the most beautiful and romantic venue we've ever seen. From day 1, Pat and his team were extremely helpful and friendly. They gave us unique individualized attention that can't be matched anywhere else. At our reception guests were raving about the delicious food, romantic ambiance and delightful service all night long. With all the exciting activities at our wedding, Pat and his team made sure we had time to ourselves to enjoy the food and special moments! It's been 3 weeks since our Wedding Day, and I honestly don't know where to begin……. If David and I could get married all over again, we would still choose IL Villagio every single time! From the first day we walked into IL Villagio we absolutely loved the venue. On top of loving the venue, we loved Patrick whom made our experience ten times better! Throughout the entire process, Patrick made us feel like we were the only couple in the world he was catering to. His professionalism, kindness, and hard work should not be overlooked. From start to finish everything was perfect, perfect, PERFECT! Never once did I doubt that IL Villagio, Patrick & his team would let us down. I had complete confidence that everything would be wonderful and it was more than we could of ever dreamed of. We are so sad now that it is over, but we promised to go back every single year to celebrate our special day, that IL Villagio so graciously mastered. I was married on 3/22/2015 at Il Villaggio. Sheesh,I don't even know where to begin,everything was perfection. My guests have not stopped calling or texting saying how wonderful everything was. The food is something that literally cannot be beat,it is not your average wedding venue food. Il Villaggio breaks the mold because everything that you put in your mouth is absolutely delicious. I am actually a little upset that I didn't eat more because the food was that good!!! I can go on & on about the food but I need to speak on the staff,this team is top notch! I don't know how they do it but boy oh boy with a million things going on,a 100 plus guests,they run this thing without skipping a beat! My wife and I are not Jersey natives but have lived here for nearly three years. I often speak with people that rave about the mansions in Newport, Rhode Island and I've been to several weddings in the state of Rhode Island but believe me when I say the weddings I've been to in the state of Rhode Island, could not touch the elegance, quality of service, professionalism, responsiveness or value offered by Il Villaggio in Carlstadt, New Jersey. I have been to several country club weddings in RI and Tampa, FL and I promise you Il Villaggio gave the \"WOW\" factor that made jaws of all our guest drop. From the elegant foyer to the stunning chandeliers, the food from the cocktail hour had our guest in awe and the main course had each of them approach me with stellar reviews and gratitude that they could have been invited to such a celebraction. The ice sculpture, the food, the lighting, ambiance, the bar, the valet, the bridal suite and balcony and the service were all PERFECT! My wife and I felt like Royalty with our own secret service staff. They ensure our glasses remained full and gave us enough space to enjoy our moment. If you are familiar with the butler character in the Adam Sandler film, Mr. Deeds, that was how efficient, professional and responsive the staff was at Il Villaggio. One of my buttons from my braces (suspenders) had popped off prior to entrances and they were equipped to handle the issue without breaking a sweat. My wife and her bridesmaids needed band-aids due to the shoes rubbing against their heels and without hesitation the staff was ready and they stayed within earshot. The vendors that Il Villaggio recommended were also beyond perfect. I did look elsewhere and my hunt was futile as there was no comparison plus the recommendations had better price points then all of my searches. I asked co-workers and listened to DJs via webpages, Facebook, Instagram, etc but they could not match up. Il Villaggio was perfect in every sense of the word.

After spending over a year looking at wedding venues all over the NY/NJ metro area my fiancée and I were getting tired of looking but after hearing about Il Villaggio from a family friend and looking at the reviews online we decided to give it a try. We met with Patrick and we loved his straight forward pitch – we were having a smaller wedding with a guest count around 125 and he had no problems taking a smaller wedding while at other venues we were told we’d have to take the smaller reception room or try to get closer to a 150 guest count. On our visit we fell in love with the huge ballroom with high ceilings and great new lighting and the food package looked like a great value. We loved that they told us everything up front and there were no hidden fees in the pricing – the price they give you is for everything all in and no extra charges – this was a welcomed change from the other venues we visited. In the months leading up to the wedding Patrick answered all our questions and was very accommodating on setting up meetings times that would fit into our schedules.\rOne the day of the wedding we pulled up to Il Villaggio after our church ceremony and Patrick, Alex (maître d) and Agnes (bridal assistant) were waiting for us and had everything taken care of. Our florist was a little bit late with the centerpieces and we didn’t have to lift a finger, Patrick was on the phone right away getting a status. The service at Il Villaggio was nothing short of AMAZING, highly professional and everything is taken care of right away. Our guests were blown away by the quality and amount of food at the cocktail hour – even months later we are still getting comments it’s the best they’ve ever had. The dinner is just as good (Filet mignon and Salmon are fantastic) and the Venetian hour for dessert is even better (every possible item imaginable is there). Patrick and Alex managed the entire night and made sure everything went off exactly on time and was up to their high standards – my bride and I did not have to worry about a thing which made our night much more enjoyable. We also wanted to mention that Agnes was amazing as well, she brought us our own mini-cocktail hour up to the bridal suite, helped with bustling the wedding dress and made sure everything we needed was taken care of throughout the night. Thank you to Patrick , Alex, Agnes and the rest of the staff for making it a perfect night. \rFor anyone looking for a reception hall in the Metro NY/NJ area we’d highly recommend Il Villaggio – you won’t find any better food or service and will not be disappointed in the ballroom. We were married there in December and everything was more than I could have imagined. Patrick is extremely professional and helpful with everything that we needed along with his staff. Everyone was so pleasant and made you feel very special and important. The venue is stunning and the food is even better. All of our guests could not stop talking about how \"top notch\" everything was and how completely amazed they were at the food and and service and just complete beauty of the venue.. I am so extremely happy that we decided to have our wedding their and I could not rave about it enough. EVERYTHING was absolutely perfect, there is not one thing I can think of that they could have done better. It was beyond our expectations and I can't recommend it enough.

After attending a friend's wedding at Il Villaggio about a year ago, my husband and I decided to hold our own wedding, this past November, there. This place is impressive when it comes to its appearance, food, and service. The venue has an elegant and classic look that doesn't require much decorating of your own. The food was excellent. Patrick and the staff were amazingly accommodating and professional. This place is truly the best venue to hold a wedding in. I am so glad we left one of the most important events in our lives in the hands of Il Villaggio.

My father STILL raves about it to his friends and strangers & he is not easily or EVER impressed. My husband and I are also foodies so it isn't easy to impress us as well. il villaggio catered to my needs and my suggestions of what I wanted for my wedding. The night went by without a hitch. Special thanks to our maître d and my amazing bridal attendant nadya who was a lifesaver and made me feel like everything was taken care of at every moment. She bustled my dress, delivered every plate of every dish to our table at cocktail hour, and always made sure we had a drink on hand. She also sewed my husbands button on his jacket when it came off before our grand entrance. She was wonderful and an ASSET to the il villaggio team. Thank you so much for making me so comfortable and for being the best place possible for us to celebrate our special day. I would do it over again and I would always pick il villaggio. That is how happy we are with our decision. Thank you most of all to Richard who made sure that everything went off without a hitch. He constantly made sure everything was going well. After a day of visiting various venues in north jersey we came to Il Villaggio and we knew immediately that this was the place for us. Patrick welcomed us and I felt that he knew what he was doing and we could trust him, it didn't feel like a sales meeting, like most other venue meetings had. Patrick explained to us the various aspects of our reception and we were sold! He spoke highly of the service that we would receive and the day of the wedding he did not disappoint. We arrived at the reception and Patrick was waiting outside our Limo to welcome us into the Bridal suite. He had everything under control and made us feel like royalty. After the evening was over he helped us gather our belongings and escorted us to our vehicle. He was literally the first and last person we saw that evening which speaks volumes to his level of commitment. Everyone at Il Villaggio was so friendly and accommodating! Our guests raved about the food and excellent service.

Our wedding was October 5, 2014 and I still get calls and text messages about the great service and amazing food! From the moment we booked the venue for our wedding, Patrick was always there to answer any questions, he was accommodating to our requests and gave us his input on ideas we had. The wedding day was AMAZING! From the moment we arrived at Il Villaggio, the staff and Patrick made sure we had everything and anything we wanted, my husband and I truly felt like VIP’s. Il Villaggio,from the ballroom to the AMAZING SERVICE is nothing short of spectacular. We booked our wedding with Patrick and dealt with him directly for every meeting! As a bride, it can get very overwhelming at times especially when handling small details. But Patrick took care of everything! For the day of the wedding, I requested Agnes for my bridal attendant because I heard nothing but great things about her..she really outdid herself! The second a drink spilled on me she was right there with a tide pen cleaning my dress without me having to ask! She wasn't overbearing either, but she knew when she was needed and was at my side so promptly. One of my guests ordered the filet mignon as his dinner choice, as Patrick was walking around he asked him how everything was. Joking around, my guest says horrible!(as he shows him his empty plate so obviously it was delicious). My guest said I'd like another one please! Patrick RIGHT THEN AND THERE went over his little microphone and ordered another filet mignon from the kitchen! My guest said it was in front of him in 30 seconds! The service here is something you will NOT find anywhere else. My guests at my wedding had never been here before and when I spoke to them the next day they raved about the food, the service, the gorgeous ballroom, and much more. My brother in law got married at another venue 4 months before us and recommended Il Villaggio to a friend over his venue! Also, the maitre'd Alex, was fantastic as well. He reassured me many times to not worry about ANYTHING because it was \"his job.\" I had nothing to worry about anyway because everything was perfect! Not one thing went wrong! They also added a brand new lighting system that we used-AMAZING! I can't say enough good things about this venue, you have to check it out for yourself!You wont be disappointed! PS- we have been to MANY weddings in the past 3 years that were considered high end costing over $200 a plate, Il Villaggio blows them out of the water!

Absolutely amazing from the minute my wife and I walked in. Patrick and his staff will always have a special place in our hearts forever. From the first negotiation til the end of our event they are truly professional and stayed on top of our every single request. All of our friends and family are still calling us, all 200+ of them; to tell us how amazing the venue was, how delicious all the food tasted, the service… EVERYTHING!! Our expectations were definitely exceeded. We cannot wait to go back and dine there. Patrick was very honest in booking us. We value all of his recommendations and are extremely happy with the way everything played out. Alex our Maitre D was always on top of the whole staff the entire time. And Agnes our bridal attendant was truly spectacular. She would help my wife all throughout the night resetting her dress. She also sewed on a button for my brother at one point. During our pictures she was very attentive too. She made sure we had a full drink the whole time as well. The food.. WOW!! The fresh mozzarella was so good, they made me a batch to go. The spread there was like no other. Ice carvings, Carving stations, passed hors d’Oeuvres, raw seafood. The drinks are top shelf and beyond. My wife and I go at least 5 wedding halls in the tri-state area each year, and none of them ever have a selection like this. We truly loved Il Villaggio in Carlstadt, NJ and would recommend it to anyone looking for the best time of their lives. Thanks again Patrick and the whole staff at Il Villaggio!!!

Il Villaggio provided me with THE best service I've had on my wedding day...and that's not just because I was the bride. Working with Patrick has been absolutely wonderful and stress-free! Our maitr'd Alex and bridal attendant Nadia were on point with every little thing and was right there when you needed something. The service, down to the valet was outstanding and there is nothing I would change.\r\rThe food was to DIE for! Anything you can think of, they have! The fried mozzarella was a huge hit along with the french fry station. YES they had a french fry station!!! The quality of the food was beyond exceptional and the Viennese hour was just as good. Our guests raved about the food and the cotton candy machine! \r\rThe venue recently added lighting to their main reception hall and it makes the place look gorgeous! I'm glad I got their lighting package because it made it that much better. \r\rI highly recommend anyone throwing a party to check out this place. Patrick and his team was extremely helpful, flexible, and so easy-going and they're open-minded to everything and anything! My wedding reception this past weekend was held at Il Villaggio. I can't say enough about how happy my husband and I are with how well the night went. The entire process of planning the wedding was easy and painless. And the night of the reception couldn't have been more organized, fun, and beautiful. John helped my husband, family and myself with all the planning and is very helpful with every step. Our bridal attendant and maitre d the night of the wedding were on top of everything and so very helpful. The food and atmosphere were amazing. So many of my guest have contacted me since the wedding to say how much they enjoyed themselves and Il Villaggio. My husband and I along with our guests would 100% recommend Il Villaggio to any couple looking to have a spectacular wedding.

The staff at Il Villaggio made my dreams come true on my wedding day. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, willing to work with your budget, will change and/or take away menu items to be flexible with your needs. Most importantly they are realistic as to what that day should be for the bride and groom. On my wedding day I did not have a stress in the work because the maitre'd and bridal attendant took care of EVERYTHING for me. The food is exceptional. Now with the new lighting system the grand ballroom is just complete!

John and his staff at Il Villaggio created the perfect atmosphere for our wedding. There are not enough nice things to say about this place. We were genuinely surprised how John and his staff were able to transform our dream into reality. Everything from the ballroom, to the cocktail hour rooms, to the bridal suite looked absolutely stunning. The icing on the cake for us is the brand new lighting system which really made the room come to life. \rIn addition to the beauty of the venue, the staff is just amazing. From day one, John was professional, friendly, and organized. We never had to worry about anything going into our wedding. You can tell that he knows the business very well and offered great suggestions. The day of the wedding, we had a maitre d that made sure the night went smoothly and a bridal attendant that knew what we wanted even before we thought about it! If we needed anything from drinks to flip flops, they already had it in their hand. \rJust when you thought it couldn't have gotten any better, our guests are continuing to rave about the food. The selection and quality of food from cocktail hour to dessert is what makes this venue better than others. The presentation was perfect and the taste was just delicious. \rJohn and his staff were very attentive to every detail we had concerned with. My husband and I cannot speak highly enough about Il Villaggio. Our expectations were completely exceeded. The wedding reception was LITERALLY PERFECT thanks to Patrick and the entire staff. Patrick was extremely professional, responsive, pleasant and accommodating throughout the planning process. It was a delight to work with him. Patrick, Alex, the maitre d, and Nadia, the bridal attendant (she's soo sweet!) made our day completely stress free. The entire staff and food were first class. We were receiving compliments about how incredible the cocktail hour and dinner was and how attentive the staff was throughout the evening. Yes, my husband and I tried all the food because Nadia made sure we ate (We REALLY appreciated that). Weeks later, we are still receiving compliments about how FANTASTIC our wedding reception was and how it was the BEST WEDDING RECEPTION they have attended. Needless to say, our guests were impressed and Il Villaggio truly made our day memorable for my husband and I and our guests. As a side note, they have an INSANE up lighting/ lighting system that takes the already beautiful and elegant interior to the next level! My husband and I highly recommend Il Villaggio to anyone hunting for a wedding venue.

If I could give 10 stars I would! We just had our wedding on 3/1/14. It was beyond our expectations. I am in the service industry and expect perfection and it was impeccable. Patrick, John, and Alex are so professional and gave us everything we requested and more. My bridal attendant anticipated my every move! I didn't even know she was behind me half the time. My guests told us it was the best wedding they've been to and still days later we are still getting calls about the endless amount of delicious food, the service, and the beautiful ballroom! If you are thinking of not getting the lighting package THAT IS A MISTAKE! Our guests keep commenting on all the lights and how amazing the room looked. They didn't even notice we didn't have flowers and just had candelabras! We are so happy we went with il villaggio and we will hold ALL our future events there! BOOK THEM! I promise you will not be disappointed!

My husband and I had our reception at Il Villaggio. This place is a dream come true vendor for every woman's wedding! You ask anything, it will be done. We chose this place, because A. It was just beautiful. Other six places we visited in Northern New Jersey didn't wow us at all, and this place did it. B. We were just amazed on their food. We believe food is one of the most important part of the wedding, and Il Villaggio was just perfect for that. \rThe place itself is just absolutely magnificent! It's just beautiful, we didn't even need to decorate the place with flowers! All we had for our reception was the centerpieces, and cake decorations from the flower vendors. The place itself is already decorated with their own flowers. Our reception was half dry wedding. We only wanted beer, wine and champagnes to be served. They cleaned the entire bar section, hid all the hard liquors, so the guests wouldn't be tempted to order hard liquor drinks. That's A LOT of work for them, but they did it for us! (Trust me, they have all kinds of alcoholic beverages you can find in the country, and they cleaned ALL OF THEM just for us!) \rBridal attendant was absolutely fantastic! She followed me all night to make sure everything was ok! \rOne thing that I really appreciated our host, Patirck was that he surprised me by bringing my favorite dessert, Creme Brulee! (To accomodate our guest's favorite dessert, I couldn't put Creme Brulee on the menu, but Patrick surprised me by bringing one without telling us! It was very sweet of them!) \r\rTwo, Five (If I had) thumbs up! You will never regret for choosing this place for your dream wedding

My husband and I chose Il Villaggio because it was very beautiful and the staff was very professional. When touring the place I knew that I wanted it, it was perfect. The price is also very reasonable because you get an extraordinary amount of food and unparalleled service. Anybody who chooses this place for their wedding will be really happy, my husband and I were! and more importantly, our guests were :) \r\rat least 15 people told us that this was the most beautiful/best wedding they had ever been to, and it was really nice to hear that. Patrick Lopez is a joy to work with and we really hope that one of our friends gets married here too just so we can enjoy the place again!
