Imperia Lake Union is a stylish and sophisticated wedding venue in Seattle, WA. Celebrate an elegant wedding in this unique venue overlooking the peaceful Lake Union. This venue is rich in charm and character with a contemporary art-deco aesthetic, reminiscent of the opulent Gatsby-era. The historic building was constructed back in 1927 and was renovated and rejuvenated to transform into an event venue over 20 years ago. With its new breath of life, you and your loved ones can celebrate a truly unique day in this atmospheric venue.
Imperia Lake Union is spread over 6,000 square feet of space and features a luxurious copper ceiling and 10-foot chandeliers. Exchange vows indoors or outside, whatever suits your preferences, and explore the vibrant grounds, snapping beautiful photos as you go. When your meal is over, you and your loved ones can hit the dance floor and bring the roaring 20's back to life.
You can avail of a range of services provided by the venue, all intended to take some of the stress out of planning your special day. Choose an all-inclusive package or browse the ĂĄ-la-carte options to suit your needs. Work with the staff on floral design, and liaise with the in-house catering team to create a menu full of your favorite flavors. Lead chef Ian Hoyt prepares meals tailored to your tastes, which can be paired with beverages served by the on-site bar. All dinner and barware, linens, tables, and chairs are supplied for the event for your convenience.
Stopping searching right now and book your wedding at the Imperia! From the beginning we were in amazing hands with Tasia and JJ, who were professional, responsive, and very very good at what they do. Some of our favorite parts: 1) The venue itself is GORGEOUS. The art deco, vintage style hardly needs any decoration, and went perfectly with our 1920s Shanghai theme. Everything is polished and elegant. We loved the secret bridal/groom suites, which makes it convenient for the bride and groom to take a breather and some space for themselves during the chaos of the wedding night. 2) The food and florals are in house, which is SO convenient and saves a lot of time and effort with coordinating vendors. The florals were stunning - JJ is a superbly talented artist and went above and beyond. The food was also amazing - we went with a buffet style (which we would recommend) and guests kept raving about how delicious and abundant everything was. You will definitely not go hungry! Our guests also complimented the bar staff on their drinks - apparently ya'll can make a mean Old Fashioned! 3) The coordination team was extremely helpful at making our vision come to life, and was very inclusive of our nontraditional ceremony. We did a Vietnamese/Chinese tea ceremony instead of a Western ceremony, and Tasia and JJ did an incredible job mapping out the event, offering suggestions, and being very flexible. The planning sessions were helpful, and we left them feeling confident.4) The day of staff was incredible, making sure we were on track with our timeline and checking in on us throughout the night. Would highly recommend getting the second tier coordination - will make your night go smooth as butter! I could go on and on, but ultimately we are so thrilled with our choice. We had an absolutely magical night, and we owe so much of it to the Imperia Team. Thank you! Reviewed on 18-10-2023

Tasia, JJ and their whole staff were absolutely incredible! We initially chose Imperia Lake Union for the convenience of everything being included (I really did not want to handle a ton of vendors especially without my own coordinator!) but customer service from start to finish went above and beyond! Tasia was always open and available for any questions we had and JJ was so flexible and creative when thinking through our floral arrangements. During our wedding, Tasia was constantly checking in with us (in a very supportive, not nagging way :)) which we greatly appreciated! And after Tasia left for the evening, her staff were incredible in taking care of us for the rest of the night. Also, the food - wow!! I have been to many weddings and always have low expectations when it comes to the food (even at my own wedding ><) BUT the food blew our expectations out of the water! Besides our guests commenting about the great service and ambiance of the venue, they always followed with 'and the food was excellent!' Can not say enough great things about Imperia Lake Union, so grateful for a stress-free, beautiful and overall fantastic wedding! Thank you! Reviewed on 03-01-2024

Imperia is definitely the place to go. We had our wedding in July 2023, we did the ceremony in the park a couple blocks away (which they organized for us) and then the reception at their location. And wow. We immediately fell in love with the venue the first time we saw it - the vibe, the look, the secret rooms. Months later we tasted the food. We were a little nervous that weâd booked the venue without knowing what the included food tasted like. And oh my. We ended up adding more options than we initially planned because everything was so delicious! It was so good that some of our guests wanted to come back and have a dinner after the wedding! We got so much good feedback about the venue, the location with views of the water, and the food from all our guests. Lastly, the people. Tasia and JJ were one of the best parts of the venue. The amount they love the space, the patience they had answering all our questions, how much they wanted to constantly help make it the wedding of our dreams. This place has the whole package. This venue was an easy choice. Â The vibe, nice bathrooms with gender neutrality option, amazing get ready spaces, wonderful staff, beautiful and flexible/spacious layout, and LGBTQ inclusivity really stood out for us. Â The working sessions to confirm details, build the timeline of what happens when, and table layout was a huge timesaver for us. The food tasting session exceeded our expectations, and made us so excited for everyone to enjoy the menu. Â We were so pleased with how easy the team accommodated changes, how quickly they responded to any inquiries, and helped us to be prepared. Â They clearly worked hard to ensure our wedding day went as planned. Overall, we really canât think of anything we would have liked the venue staff to do differently. Â The day was everything we had hoped and planned for, and numerous guests told us it was the best wedding they have ever been to. Reviewed on 07-07-2023

We couldn't have been more thrilled about hosting our wedding reception at Imperia! From the moment you walk into this venue you feel it's a memorable and special place :) the decor is top notch! It is a DANCE VENUE! We couldn't have hosted the dance party we did without the space of Imperia. It was idyllic. From the very beginning, JJ and Tasia were so communicative, accommodating, and focused on creating the event of our dreams! JJ's flowers matched the paper products my mom made PERFECTLY. It made for such a cohesive, polished look. Tasia was so flexible with our \"alternative \" requests for a private dinner in the back (just my husband and I) and for edible centerpieces that were a HIT! Tasia kept the night moving on a timeline so smoothly I just got to sit back and enjoy the ride. Our guests couldn't stop complimenting the efficiency and professionalism of the staff. For context, we signed up for Tier 2 coordination in addition to a customized Elegance Package. Though I'm from the Seattle area, it felt like I was planning a destination wedding since my husband and I live in France full-time. Our pre-wedding coordinator was Tasia, JJ was our day-of-coordinator, and Oscar was our banquet captain. I must have emaild Tasia about 100 times between our first visit to the venue and our post-wedding comms, and she never left an email sit longer than 48 hours and was always super accomodating with our time-zone differences. It was so reassuring to have her available to answer the nit-picky questions and help me ensure that everything was in order for our big day.JJ handled our florals AND our day-of coordination. My husband specifically asked me to call out how helpful she was - and I want to thank her for that glass of wine pre-ceremony to calm my nerves! She set up everything the way we asked!Oscar was our banquet captain and handled everything at the end of the night. From our perspective, it was absolutely seamless and our guests had nothing but positive things to say about their experience. We only have one small feedback point: I wish our MC/DJ and JJ had coordinated better amongst themselves because sometimes they would come find us to ask a question we'd just answered, but that's also on us for not clearly identifying a \"chain of command\" or explicitly asking them to work together. It therefore has no bearing on our rating or experience, just a note for next time!Overall, our big day was so special and full of joy thanks in LARGE part to the dedication and professionalism of the Imperia staff. Their one-stop shop approach to weddings (in-house catering, bakery, floral design, bar service AND planning/coordination) made it a no-brainer for us to choose them as the venue for our ceremony and reception. We had very little vendor-wrangling to do by the time we chose them. Both Tasia and JJ were so great in guiding us through wedding planning. They laid out lots of options, explained whatever we had questions about, thought of and asked us about nitty gritty details we wouldn't have thought of, made helpful suggestions, and were professional, super friendly, and very flexible with our schedules when it came to meeting in person. Our wedding day was smooth sailing thanks to them. The event staff flipped the room from ceremony mode with seating for 125 guests over to buffet dinner service and an open dance floor lightning fast during cocktail hour. The transitioning from moment to moment was effortless. We were always kept in the loop with JJ checking in on how we were doing and asking if we were ready to move onto whatever the next event was. We were well taken care of. Their food is DELICIOUS. They do a tasting event for couples to come in and eat all of their food options for their wedding ahead of time to help couples make informed decisions about their menus. They have to-go cake tasting trays if you decide to go the route of using their in-house bakery. (We went with their tuxedo cake. YUM!) As a bride who's heard horror stories about other brides not being able to eat during their weddings because they were too busy as well as someone who gets hangry every once in a while, I can say that being fed was not an issue at all. We opted to do snack trays in the Bride's Suite and Groom's Room, which were filled with delicious munchies as well as the tray passed appetizers our guests were being served during cocktail hour. My husband and I were served a plated meal to give us a chance to eat while our guests were going through the buffet line. We opted to do a late-night snack since we chose ahead of time to add the extra hour on to our reception (ending at midnight instead of the standard 11 pm). Wedding cake. Our pie bar. Whew. So much good food. When it came to wedding flowers, it was so easy working with JJ. The space is beautiful enough to stand on it's own without a ton of added decor (Get the candle package, it adds the perfect touch!), but JJ's floral designs for the tables and entryway were a gorgeous addition. We went the more greenery-dominant route as opposed to having a really flowery wedding, and JJ was great about taking the inspiration photos I sent and translating it for our wedding day! You'll be in the best care with LUC. The entire staff made the planning process an absolute breeze! We loved how we could book the flowers, linens, cake, food and alcohol all through the venue and also have a day of coordinator included! My husband and I are both full time working professionals and have minimal time to plan. LUC took the time at each meeting to make sure we would get exactly what we want. We loved how easy it was to book a band as well! The free parking for our guests was fantastic as well as the candle package we booked to make our evening winter wedding stunning! All of our guests raved about the delicous food and cake and LOVED the passed appetizers during the cocktail hour. For most of our guests they said it was the best wedding they have been to due to the beauty of it but also the intimate venue space and quality within every element!!! They were incredibly accommodating and I always felt like I was their top priority. We went to the food tasting and were blown away at how delicious all of the food was - and their cake flavors are to die for. They brought the vision of my cake and cupcake vision to life and matched the pictures I provided perfectly.I have received so many kudos from our guests on how great the food was and how beautiful the venue looked. Bethye Vodicka(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 26-08-2017 We had our wedding at LUC last weekend and we are still glowing from the amazing time we had. LUC is such a beautiful, unique space. Everyone was raving about it -- from the beautiful marquee, to the supper club booths, the incredible chandeliers and the amazing candle package. Because the space is so beautiful on its own, it required very limited decoration, which was a huge plus. We went with the candle package (300+ candles) and it was so romantic. Tasia, Melissa and JJ were all amazing to work with. They were so nice and informative and helped us to make the best decisions for our group. They also worked incredibly well with all of our other vendors. We started with two tray passed appetizers (the pork was amazing), followed by a buffet dinner, cake/cupcakes and a late night snack (chicken and waffles). The food has been getting rave reviews from our guests this whole week -- particularly the butternut squash ravioli and the salmon. I personally wasn't a fan of the chicken and waffles but my friends devoured them! :) We also got our cake from the LUC bakery. This was the most economical, since LUC charges a pretty high fee if you bring in a cake from somewhere else. Luckily, the cake and cupcakes were incredible! We had an assortment of chocolate salted caramel, lemon raspberry, creme brulee, and chocolate hazelnut. We had a large group of gluten intolerant folks and both the bakery and kitchen staff were really accommodating -- both in making gluten free versions of items and labeling food clearly. I think my favorite thing about LUC is the dance floor. It's a little smaller than other spaces we looked at, which made it always feel full. There were also tables surrounding the floor, which made it easy for older folks to feel like they were part of the action without being on the dance floor when they needed a break. Finally, while not inexpensive, LUC can hold a high capacity (>200pp) and Tasia was willing to work with our budget to help us figure out where/how to cut costs. We highly recommend. ;) Reviewed on 31-08-2017
Jacqueline Laird(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 15-07-2017 We absolutely loved working with LUC for our wedding! We booked them about 10 months prior to our wedding. They walked us through every step of the process and were so helpful throughout the entire time.Tasia and JJ helped us plan our event, including key details, and were always extremely responsive to answering our many questions (particularly the week leading up to the wedding). The event ended up being seamless. They coordinated the entire event so well! The venue itself is beautiful - we had minimal decorations, and they let us borrow most of the equipment (staircase to hold name cards, table stand holders, picture frame holders, candles, you name it). We ordered our cake through the bakery (and they let us bring some of our own desserts too!), and we brought our own alcohol. The staff were incredibly kind as well - the bartenders, the kitchen staff, you name it. I wouldn't hesitate to use LUC for any type of event if I have to plan something in the future. Elizabeth Windsor(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 05-05-2017 We had a fantastic experience with Melissa and Tasia at LUC. We had a fairly tight timeframe (4 months), and were lucky enough to book a Friday in May. Melissa and Tasia were nothing but friendly, helpful, and responsive in both person and email. They worked seamlessly with our vendors (a photobooth, DJ, and photographer) and were open to requests we had (a wedding pinata!). They also provided Day-of coordinator services, which were invaluable. If you're looking for a venue that's as stress-free as possible, choose LUC. The interior is also beautiful enough that with the candle package they offered, we only brought in flowers, table numbers, and a seating chart. They offer an in-house flower package but we had previous plans, although the package seemed affordable and very pretty. They also have on-site catering (required) and cake services (optional). Our guests loved the food (definitely go with with the fancy mac n cheese), and we brought in an outside cake for a reasonable fee of $150. We also went with the open bar option, which was super fun. They provided a \"signature\" on the rocks margarita for us, which our guests loved. The bride's prep room is huge and lovely, FYI. We didn't spend much time in the groom's room as we had our ceremony elsewhere and had a reception-only event at LUC for about 80 people. We only used the main room, not the terrace, and it was the perfect size for a 80 to 100 person wedding. I've been to LUC for a larger wedding, which it also accommodates well. We can't say enough great things! Highly recommended. Reviewed on 28-05-2017
Gia Sinopoli(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 15-10-2016 We fell in love with this venue and booked it because of the beautiful Art Deco details that matched our theme and the amazing menu. This place is a really good deal because they basically take care of everything for you. The food is absolutely AMAZINNNNNNNNGGG. It's been several months and my coworkers still stop and tell me how much they loved the food. I even made my husband learn how to make his own version of the steak balsamico . Our cake was to die for. Our flowers were gorgeous. The whole planning process was really easy and they were very accommodating. We worked with Tasia for that portion who was lovely to work with, unfortunately she wasn't able to be there on the actual day of but we had Melissa helping us and she was WONDERFUL. The venue unfortunately screwed up on a lot of extremely important details (flower order wasn't right, cake flavors were baked out of order, cake topper got thrown away, etc...) but Melissa was so wonderful and made things right with us. Even though a lot of things went wrong that were completely and totally their fault I would still have my wedding there if I could do it over again. Anonymous (bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-10-2015 We, the bride and groom, are old. We've been around a lot and a long time and are very demanding. Assessing the varying and highly varied wedding options in Seattle, we believed that LUC alone would be able to work with us to create an event that represented who we are and deliver what we wanted to our beloved family and friends. Tasia, the wedding coordinator, the chef, the pastry chef, the bartenders listened carefully to us and translated our needs/desires into a magical night. Also, Tasia thought of \"things\" we hadn't considered; knew how to handle the issues; and coordinated the staff so that we could waltz around in a daze, assured all was well. LUC exceeded our ridiculously high expectations and our guests repeatedly let us know they felt cared for. I think all of us had a great time, including - shockingly - the wedding party. Note: Our guests ranged in age from 9 months to 90 years. The staff anticipated needs and provided individual attention throughout the evening. Most of our friends remarked on the excellence and warmth of the staff, the food, the cake and the bartending. We are very grateful to the LUC staff who helped us make this happen. Stephanie Shephard(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 03-10-2015 I had my wedding at Lake Union Cafe 3 weeks ago. We chose Lake Union Cafe as our venue in mid-January of this year, and the coordinating staff made it easy to plan the event in the 9 months we had. We chose to do the ceremony outdoors at Fairview Park, which is an option provided by Lake Union Cafe. In addition to setting up the ceremony, all of the food was in-house, so the coordination of the event was very easy. The food was great, all the guests were raving about it. Our day-of coordinator, Beth, was extremely helpful and kept the event running smoothly with very little guidance from us. The father of the groom had a medical emergency during the reception -- Beth and her staff not only were extremely attentive to his needs, but they kept the party going inside the venue as well. This space offered wonderful value, and I would definitely recommend it. Reviewed on 26-10-2015

The inside is so beautiful, with gorgeous chandeliers, copper ceilings and stunning details. Our event planner was Lauren, she knew exactly what she was doing and made the wedding night move along smoothly. I feel like I would have been completely lost without her. Abbey Olivo(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-11-2014 I don't even like cake and I found quite a few of their flavors to be completely delicious. You can tell they use natural/local ingredients and make everything from scratch. Not that sickeningly sweet stereotypical wedding cake flavor at all. We thought their prices were reasonable compared to other bakeries in the area, and when we wanted to stay within a certain budget they had some ideas to help us do so. They also offer a variety of dessert options if you were looking to do a dessert table/buffet. Also, we found out we were expecting a baby mid-wedding planning, and asked them to surprise our guests by coloring the inside of our cake pink to reveal to everyone that we were having a baby girl. Malissa Webber(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 05-10-2014 We loved our Lake Union Cafe wedding! We found out about them through their cake--far and away the best sample I picked up at the Seattle Wedding Show! We were a little leery when we went to visit; the building is right under I-5's Ship Canal Bridge, and doesn't look like much on the outside. But it's stunning inside, and you can't hear the freeway at all once you're past the lobby. \rWe loved the art deco details (chandeliers, wall sconces and revolving door from a Jazz-age hotel in New York that was being demolished); we wanted a venue where we could do both the ceremony and reception, and something with enough personality that we wouldn't have to worry about decorating. LUC is not only beautiful, but also full-service, from day-of coordinator to bartender! AND we were able to supply our own alcohol, a huge bonus since we wanted to use a particular type of Champagne. \rThere's a really cool bridal suite with mirrors, couches, and a sink, which is hidden away behind the kitchen and down some stairs. The groom's green room is on the other side of the building, with a stand-up bar and stools. And the hallway going into the bridal suite is lined with the names of all the other couples who were married there--such a cool touch!\rThe coordinator walks you through all the details, from enhancements like candles (spring for the candle package. It's so worth it!) or in-house flower designs to your cake flavors and menu choices. We were a little worried when our coordinator ended up taking a new position elsewhere 2 months before our wedding, but our new coordinator was also great, and honored everything the first one had done for us.\rYou don't have to use their cake baker, but you really should; she's amazing, and her flavors are fantastic! We had one tier of Mexican Chocolate cake, and 2 tiers of Pumpkin Chai, perfect for our October wedding. And everyone, from the photographer to my 14-year-old cousin, has been raving about the lobster mac'n'cheese. And the coordinator makes sure that you and your new hubby/wife actually get to eat--they plate you both a huge helping of everything and have it at your seats after the ceremony, then strategically release tables to the buffet so that guests are too busy with their own food to bother you!\rLUC's staff was amazing: gracious when my husband's family arrived 2 hours earlier than the \"doors open\" time we'd given them; detail-oriented; always smiling; willing to go the extra mile. They set out our centerpieces, favors, and programs, and made up our wedding party snack trays early when we showed up early. The only issue we had was that the tray-passed hors-d'oeuvres we'd ordered were accidentally missed by our new coordinator. As soon as she found out she apologized and immediately sent us a refund check for the missed items. \rWe couldn't have asked for a better venue! A lot of wedding professionals talk about a venue's flow, and LUC has a great flow, with plenty of space for guests to spread out and get away from the crowd/music if they need to. If we ever need to book a big party, we'll go straight back to LUC! Reviewed on 25-10-2014

It was service I couldn't even have imagined. Everyone had a wonderful time and the venue was breathtaking with all of the candles. I would recommend the Lake Union Cafe to ANYONE!! It's spectacular in the evening and you can't get better personal service anywhere. Reviewed on 30-12-2011
Paige Haber(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 11-11-2011 I can't say enough good things about Lake Union Cafe. Victoria and Dann made getting married easy! They were super easy to work with an answered my 290469304986 questions. The venue is warm and inviting. It has a fabulous 1920's vibe to it. We held our ceremony and reception here and both were fabulous. LUC was very communicative and fairly priced. There is ample room to get ready downstairs in the seperate bridal/groom \"suites.\" They allow you to bring your own alcohol, which saved us TONS of money. They took care of every detail, start to finish. Our wedding was flawless! Victoria helped us order apples as part of our decorations and Dann helped repair my disasterous bridal bouquet (it was heinous!) without batting an eye. I felt like I was in fabulous hands from planning until the reception. Not to mention the food was FABULOUS! We had the bbq pork shanks and mushroom ravioli, among other things and our guests RAVED!! We also used their in-house bakery for our wedding cake/cupcakes. They were delicious and totally willing to do any flavor we dreamed up! We are thrilled about our choice to use LUC for our wedding! Chrystina Pettit(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 31-03-2012 I am getting married on March 31st 2012. I am very organized and I am by far a procrastinator. Therefore after we got engaged in February we immediatley started the planning. After looking at half a dozen vendors and emailing about another dozen we finally came across this amazing little gem! Victoria and Dan are amazing. They are friendly, upbeat, helpful and most of all listen to what you want and help you obtain it. I am so excited to get married there! I most definately would recommend this little gem to anyone getting married in the Seattle area. The food is yummy, not to expensive. The atmosphere is laid back and depending on how you decorate can be upbeat or romantic. They also have a bakery and do free cake tasting! Reviewed on 07-10-2011

Kristin McArthur(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 26-06-2011 This place was perfect! It is classy and does not need much decoration. The best part about this place is Victoria and Dann! They do a fantastic job in helping to plan everything for the wedding, and on the day of I didn't have to worry about anything! I was much more disorganized than I thought I would be the month before the wedding, and they helped it all come together with minimal stress. They gave great recommendations for vendors within my budget. On the day of the wedding there were a few little wrinkles that Victoria quickly and calmly took care of so I didn't worry about anything.\rThe food was fantastic. They do tastings several times per year so got to try a lot of different things--my husband LOVED the BBQ pork shanks. I was hoping for something fancier at first, but so glad we went with it because everyone raved about the food. The staff on the day of was professional and helpful. They allow you to bring in your own alcohol which saved a ton on that budget. We had about 160 guests which fit comfortably. The layout is great--the dance floor is in the middle of the venue so during the reception it felt like everyone was included.\rI would strongly recommend this venue to anyone without reservations. Ryan Brooks(groom)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 30-10-2010 Dann & Victoria were a class act from start to finish. Willing to provide recommendations when we asked for them (Joe Yamada was a fabulous DJ), and accommodating when we had our own ideas (we brought in carved pumpkins and fall decorations for our October 30th wedding).\r\rThe ability to bring our own alcohol saved us literally thousands of dollars over some other venues we were considering. I definitely recommend you keep that in mind when pricing out a reception option.\r\rThe food was great, and with two buffet lines the guests were able to get food and get back to their tables very efficiently. It's generally difficult to get good chicken at a buffet (trying to keep it warm tends to dry it out), but the panko chicken was a crowd favorite. The appetizers were incredible: we went with the lobster bisque and pork tenderloin on a cracker.\r\rWe had roughly 210 guests, which was fine, but beginning to push the limits for the location. Perfect for between 150 and 220. I think it'd be tough to get above 220 comfortably.\r\rAll in all, an awesome place for a reception, and literally everything went off without a glitch.\r\rRyan & Clare Reviewed on 17-11-2010
Michele Kaspar(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-09-2010 This place is absolutely beautiful. It was a restaurant back in the 1930's, and the art deco charm has been gorgeously preserved. It is the perfect venue for having both the ceremony and reception in the same place. The vaulted, copper ceiling, chandelier lined ceremony space becomes a dance floor for the reception. They do their own catering there, and the food is delicious. Dann and Victoria are wonderful to work with. Everything came together perfectly, and I was able to relax and enjoy the special day that turned out even better than I imagined. Reviewed on 16-10-2010

Sarah Klippel(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 28-03-2010 I was so pleased to have my wedding at the Lake Union Cafe. We had a lot of out of town guests and needed a venue where we could have the ceremony and the reception in one place, that also didn't break our budget. The LUC was perfect! The food was incredible, several of our guests raved that it was the best food that they had ever had at a wedding. Dann and Victoria did a great job in the months before the wedding helping to plan the decor and event so that nothing went awry. The only complaint that I had was that I really wanted to see the venue set up when I arrived (I had sent some people hours ahead of me with instructions to set up) and they had left without really doing anything so that by the time I got there, the place still wasn't all together. This wasn't so frustrating as the fact that there were people touring the venue to see if they wanted to get married there... hours before my event, and taking up the event staff's time from me. Everything did eventually get put together of course and the rest of the night went off without a hitch. We had a great time at our wedding and had an overall wonderful experience working with the Lake Union Cafe. I would definitely recommend them highly to anyone else! Reviewed on 10-08-2010

Sonya Proper(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 14-11-2008 The venue (similar to what I imagine the inside of the titanic to be) is elegant and romantic in every which way. Both Victoria and Dan were so amazing in helping me with bringing every detail of my dream true. They lit up over 200 candles to give it that extra touch. The staff was dressed in white tuxes and extremely professional with service. My favorite is how Dan held my hand through it all, he was my right hand man and made me feel like he was familar instead of a stranger. He protected me from falling a few times and even kept a close eye to folks stepping on my dress... now that is true dedication! He also decorated the front entrance of the room in an amazing artful style that folks still ask me about. I only wish I had him in my life everyday! Reviewed on 28-06-2010
