Indian Creek Nature Center is a nonprofit organization and wedding venue located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The venue offers a memorable experience for couples and their loved ones to celebrate amidst the natural beauty of the property's 200 acres of preserved prairie, woodlands and wetlands. The beautiful, light-filled venue is one of of the most sustainable buildings in the world — a Living Building Petal Certified building — and displays sustainable architecture that elegantly complements its natural surroundings. Specializing in eco-friendly events, the Indian Creek Nature Center is a memorable location your guests will be talking about for years to come. Indoor wedding spaces include an auditorium that can seat 120 guests and an exhibit hall that can be set up for both ceremonies and receptions. Classrooms and a conference room can also be used as get-ready suites for you and your wedding party. Outdoors, a brick patio and wetland deck lit by string lights creates a romantic ambiance for your reception. You are also welcome to use the natural amphitheater or find a ceremony site anywhere you like on the grounds. Rental of Indian Creek Nature Center comes with tables and chairs for your ceremony and reception. The space is also equipped with a full kitchen stocked with dishware and utensils that your caterer can use for your dinner. The venue provides a list of recommend caterers, or you can use one of your own choosing. Beer and wine are permitted for you to enjoy as well. The building is also fully ADA accessible.
