Our day at the Inn was so wonderful! My husband and I were guests at a close friend's wedding and I have to say I was blown away! The accommodations were clean, need and tidy thanks so much to Tricia, and the wedding was out of a storybook! Ed, the Maitre'ed, and Tracey, his assistant, were on top of everything! They were both there always a step ahead to help with everything we needed! The food was delicious, probably the best food we've had at a wedding in years and the day was just so wonderful! We stayed overnight and had a wonderful breakfast the next morning! All the guests were talking how wonderful the weekend went. Great job everyone! Reviewed on 22-12-2023

Eddie, Tricia, Haley and Tracey were absolutely amazing. They made our day the most perfect. The Venue itâs self is beautiful and when the lights on, it makes it even more so. I can not at all say any bad word about our process with The Inn, so helpful and so hands on. They make it so easy and they make your day so amazing. Trish was absolutely amazing with all the guests, Eddie was amazing with the planning of the wedding, Tracey was incredibly helpful with the in-day stuff and getting all the things together and Haley was so helpful with all the bridal party requests. The Inn is a perfect venue to have your wedding, it will be absolutely beautiful and the people involved are so hands on. We couslnât have asked for a better day. They made it 100% perfect. Oh and the chef, youâre getting 5 star food. If this was Yelp Iâd give 5 stars and would renew my vows with my wife every year at The Inn. John & Coll Reviewed on 17-12-2023

Our Winter Wedding at the Inn From booking to our big day we were simply blown away by our experience with the Inn and all of the folks at Frungillo Caterers, who helped turn every one of our ideas into a curated reality for us and our 180 guests! Ed and Michelle at Frungillo provided first-class service to us from planning stages, right up to and during our big day, and created the most magical experience for our friends and family staying with us at the Inn for the Weekend! The grounds were immaculate, perfectly decorated for Christmas, and managed expertly by the amazing Tricia, the Innkeeper. She is truly one of the most wonderfully kind, organized and attentive individuals we have ever worked with, and she was instrumental in the creation of our own little village at the Inn for the weekend. None of our guests, many of whom had traveled from the West Coast and Europe wanted to leave, the cozy Inn and celebrations were just that incredible! The food was delectable and served promptly with care, and the drinks at the bars were perfect! Shoutout to Kevin who cared for us at the Rehearsal Dinner and After Party, it was amazing! Our wedding day was supervised by the lovely Katherine, who made every small request we made into a reality - providing us with some of the most amazing service we have ever seen! As well as the amazing Tracey, who it must be said, was simply spectacular! She provided 5 star service the entire day, from getting ready right up to the after party - she is someone every bride or groom needs with them on their big day, and just the warmest and kindest service as well!We had the most amazing weekend of our lives at the Inn, and if you're looking for the very same, book it today, you will not be sorry!Thank you, thank you, thank you to the amazing staff at the Inn and Frungillo again, you are all simply the best! To say the day was a dream, is let even to describe it. Working for a wedding venue myself - the inn pulled out all the stops and made my dream wedding come true. From the moment I toured with Maria, to planning with Ed and the day of with Ed, Tracy and the whole team. I couldnât have imagined a more perfect and magical day. I had a weather decision by noon, as it was very overcast and spitting rain but I WANTED it outside. My MOH and bridesmaids husbands brought tarps which the inn put down and we had it outside and it was exactly what I wanted. From cocktail hour to the reception, the food was unmatched. The cake was amazing. We even had a slight issue with my dad where he had to be rushed the the ER and the whole team was more than attentive and has been in contact since. I couldnât recommend this place more! Truly the best day of my life. Reviewed on 10-10-2023

Venue âŞď¸: I happened upon The Inn at Millrace Pond because someone posted pictures of the venue on facebook. We had already started looking at venues and my fiance didnât even want me to book a tour here because he felt we had too many tours planned already. I am so glad that I didnât listen to him, because we both fell in love with the Inn as soon as we stepped foot on the grounds. The Inn perfectly combined our styles. I love the old-world, rustic charm that the Inn has to offer and Dan loves the new, modern touches that the recently renovated barn has to offer. I love that the grounds make you feel as if youâve stepped into a private village. Maria, who gave us our guided tour was awesome and answered all of our questions. Ed, our event manager/maitreâd was amazing at guiding us through the planning process and making sure that things ran smoothly. He did become a little hard to get in touch with as our wedding date got closer (probably due to it being busy season), but leading up to our finals meeting, he was very good at getting back to me. Tracey, his assistant, was outstanding the day of our wedding and SO sweet! The staff made sure that our day was flawless, despite the many challenges that we faced due to the weather. The food was FANTASTIC! The venue looked stunning! Every staff member was professional, helpful, and genuinely so happy for us! It felt like we were surrounded by extra friends that day. My only complaint would be that Dan and I didnât get to eat enough of the delicious food during cocktail hour because we were too busy saying hello to everyone (luckily Tracey was so wonderful and brought us a plate of food from cocktail hour so that we could enjoy some nibbles during the reception). The kitchen staff literally made a separate meal just for me because during our tasting I loved one dish, but we didnât choose it as a menu choice for our guests. We truly had a magical day despite the tropical storm that was rolling through!Hotel đ¨- The Inn at Millrace Pond: Tricia, the innkeeper was super helpful in booking the rooms on-site. She made sure that the priority rooms were cleaned in a timely fashion so that our guests could get ready. We had a delicious morning after breakfast with our guests that stayed on site. There were many food and drink options - there was definitely something for everyone! Everyone was happy with their stay on site. The rooms were immaculate and the beds were comfortable. They even accommodated our dog in one of their pet friendly rooms so that we could have him with us on our wedding day. One of the other things that we loved about the Inn is that we can go back to stay at the Inn after our wedding! We will definitely be back for anniversary trips! Reviewed on 09-10-2023

Our daughter was married here in June 2023. I cannot say enough good things about the inn. We initial spoke to Maria I believe she is in sales . She was so helpful and accommodating and after showing us the grounds which are beautiful and the new modern farmhouse that was completed in May 2023 we were blown away and new this was the place . Maria even came the day of my daughters wedding just to see our vision come alive and also to say good luck. I thought how sweet was that that she took the time to do so. The Inn at Millrace is modern farmhouse reception meets old farmhouse for the cocktail hour since they were attached it made it so unique, and what was even nicer was that we had the availability of the old farmhouse During our reception to use as well. We could have chosen the gristmill for the cocktail hour I believe which is spectacular too as itâs 200 years old but our wedding guest size was too large but it surely made a great after party for us to all to party in The Inn I believe has 16 rooms and the most amazing bridal suite that is a converted barn . The Character and charm it had was beautiful and the newlyweds can stay in this amazing space along with their guest at the Inn and not have to leave the grounds which made things so convenient. It also serves as an amazing bridal suite for the bride to get ready in with her bridal party. Tracy was our bridal attendant and although they may not serve food as itâs something you have the option to bring in which honestly I believe would be an amazing touch if they offered that option for you even if they had to charge for it as it was a little bit much getting everything together to bring to this suite the morning of. The Inn did provide water and coffee set up and a few things but not food. Tracy are bridal attendant who also cared for our head tables and bride and groom throughout the day was an absolute âGEMâ. Caring, helpful, kind and totally attentive throughout the entire day and evening Always making sure even during photos that we all had enough to eat and drink and went out of her way for everything. Since my daughterâs wedding was a true DIY we needed to get into the venue prior to her Thursday wedding. They were incredibly accommodating allowing us to stay there for hours the Tuesday before in setting up our vision. Eddie was the maĂŽtre d and he is busy sometimes not being able to get back to us in time with some questions we had prior to event however with we cannot say enough great things about Eddie either . He was so accommodating attentive and kind as well and is excellent at what he does. Tracy and Eddie would make an incredible team. I feel like Tracy should be Eddieâs assistant they would make a killer duo together. Our guest could not have said enough greater things about the food and the whole venue itself. Incredible caterers, absolute delicious food and everything was seamless. The price point for all we got was totally worth every penny . We did an outdoor ceremony and having someone who can delegate that a bit smoother would of been a bit more helpful . Our extended family stayed at the inn and loved their stay . Even the innkeeper Trish was helpful that day. If you are looking for a great country unique setting in beautiful Hope nj and want the added touches of old meets new modern farm house with a beautiful old inn for your guest to stay plus the best food ever The Inn at Millrace was top notch. We couldnât of been happier in the most magical day our family shared in together. Thank you Inn at Millrace our daughters wedding was a dream come true! Reviewed on 26-07-2023

We booked the Inn at Millrace Pond when the barn house was still a concrete slab - just to show the trust we have in them. From the walkthrough and planning process with Michelle and Robert, to the day off with Gerry and Linda, everything was spectacular. Upon entering, our guests were greeting with espresso martini or champagne shooters which were delicious. Not only that, our guests could not stop raving about the food. The fresh mozz station was a hit, and our pasta and Tuscan stations were top notch. To top it all off, everyoneâs filet (their top dish) was cooked to perfection. Some people even ate their tableâs leftovers it was that good! We even had an afterparty at the gristmill⌠and you already know by this point how that went. All of our guests stayed at the venue in the multiple rooms they have to offer and we were able to have a brunch the next day to recap all the memories from the night before. I wouldnât have booked my wedding with anyone else but the Frungilloâs. Theyâre not just your friends, theyâre family. Thank you thank you!! Reviewed on 16-11-2022

Erica Hochstuhl(bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 22-08-2019 Frungillo Caterers manages the weddings at The Inn at Millrace Pond. Unfortunately, when I had to cancel my wedding they made the process unbearable. My contact at the Inn promptly refunded the deposit I had put down for the guest rooms. I, then, reached out to my contact at Frungillo. He informed me my cancellation must be sent via email to the owner Gerald Frungillo. It took him a week shy of two months to respond to my emails. When he finally did, it was to simply confirm he received my cancellation and not address my other questions. Most people do not go into wedding planning thinking they will have to cancel, but life happens. I would not recommend Frungillo Caterers to anyone because of this terrible experience. It is terrible that they are bringing down the reputation of the wonderful people at the actual venue. Reviewed on 22-02-2018
Erin Stewart(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 22-10-2017 My husband and I got married at the Inn at Millrace Pond, late October 2017. And it was absolutely beautiful. I think that the entire venue speaks for itself. It is very clean, and well kept, and maintained properly.. The Inn, the meeting house, the mill. It is all historic and absolutely gorgeous. It was a combination of what my husband and I had been looking for. And our guests are still talking about how charming and different the venue was.. We had 100 people attend our wedding and everyone fit comfortably with the set up for the ceremony and the reception. It was perfect. The staff of the Inn was also wonderful and VERY accommodating. There seemed to be, however, A LOT of miscommunication between the Inn and the caterers on who was supposed to handle what. But everyone was always in communication with my husband and I, and in the end it all worked out. And everyone was very helpful and nice.. We also booked most of the rooms on the property for our guests to stay the night, after the wedding, and the tavern for the after party.. Everything went smoothly. There were a few people who were not guests at the wedding who wandered into the tavern during the after party, (you pay to rent the tavern out just for your guests), but the bartenders took care of it quickly. Also, there was a wedding the night before and the entire place was cleaned up before we even got there (at 9 AM), the morning of the wedding. And since we were married on a Sunday, they were also very helpful and accommodating about when we could do the rehearsal. I would recommend this venue to anyone. The staff is very friendly and helpful and this venue is just breathtaking! Reviewed on 09-01-2018
Amanda Waage(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 20-01-2019 Our wedding day was perfect. Looking back, there was not one thing we would have changed. We were married a couple weeks ago on November 10 - we had a small wedding (40 people), so I cannot vouch for the caterer, tent etc. but I can say that this is the perfect venue for anyone who is looking for something unique and intimate. The grounds are unbelievably gorgeous (at any time of year!) and every staff member we've come in contact with has been nothing but pleasant. We planned to get married outside on the lawn in front of the meeting house, but it ended up being FREEZING that day (high of 32 - go figure), so we made the call early on to have the ceremony inside the meeting house, in a room with a fireplace upstairs. I was a little bummed about that until I walked through the morning of and saw how the fireplace mantle was decorated - Peggy Patton (the florist who works onsite), did a phenomenal job on absolutely everything. If you get married here and don't use Peggy as your florist, you are insane - she does amazing work and was so helpful throughout the planning process. She did the mantle (which would have been the arbor if we had the ceremony outside), our bouquets, boutonnieres and centerpieces and all of it was absolutely beautiful. After seeing Peggy's work, my nerves settled down a little - and everything else fell into place. I worked with Sue-Ann, the General Manager of the Inn, throughout the planning process as well - she is exactly what I needed in a \"wedding planner\" - reassuring and extremely accommodating. She even let our two dogs be a part of our day and \"babysat\" one of them (who tends to be a little more rambunctious) in the back of the room during the ceremony. Afterwards, our group was sent down to the tavern for the reception/after party; every aspect of this was perfect, from the food (the restaurant was able to cook since our group was so small), to the room setup, and so on. I have to thank Sue-Ann and the Inn staff for this as they had every detail covered, and the bartenders even helped us gather all of our DIY decor to grab the following day (which helped immensely, considering most of us had heavy heads!)Again, I cannot put into words how awesome our wedding day was... just reliving it through this review has made me so happy. We canât wait to celebrate our anniversaries here for years to come! Reviewed on 20-11-2017
Erica Pimenta(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 16-09-2017 We got married on Sept. 16th 2017 here. All of our guests were so impressed with the venue. IT was beautifully kept. While there was a wedding there the day before, the place was cleaned up and ready for us pretty early on. Taylor was great (she runs the inn) at details for guests and the bar. They were all receptive to the fact that we could wait to the last minute for a rain plan (and thankfully didn't need it). The tent was so comfortable even on a humid warm day with fans. The dance floor was a little small (125 people) though no one cared and danced outside of it. The bar afterward was perfect for the after-party; after that the new fire-pit was a huge hit. There are extra charges for this but do not regret spending some money for those options. We also used the Flower Mill and Peggy (florist) was one of the all-stars of the day, paying attention to every detail and made all of the grounds look fantastic. Our photographers were so excited to take pictures at this venue. Would make the same choice again. Reviewed on 03-10-2017
Karen Vozzella(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 18-06-2017 The property is beautiful 5 stars, the caterers for the property Frungillo's is 5 stars, Peggy the flower mill on the property was our florist and she was beyond 5 stars, the restaurant is also very good 4 stars but the organization and availability of the inn staff is limited. If you and your fiancĂŠ work full time it isn't easy. All in all things worked out but making sure everything was in place wasn't easy. Valet service is through the Inn but no one was there when guests started to arrive from the ceremony to cocktail hour. The lot is small, so it filled up quickly and myself and my new husband had to direct people until finally the restaurant manager came to our rescue! Really someone from the Inn should've been there making sure that things went off without a hitch and then left once the reception started. Overall we had a perfect day but of all the pieces the Inn's organization felt the most disappointing and they didn't seem concerned about their mistake. We wouldn't have changed our venue because we loved it, but wanted to let other people looking to know just stay on top of the details here!! Reviewed on 22-06-2017

It felt like a destination wedding without having to go very far, especially since it is also a bed and breakfast. It was SO beautiful, the staff was fantastic, Taylor was the best. Camille Limongelli(bride)2 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-10-2015 It disheartens me to have to leave a poor review for the Inn. We fell in love with the Inn and were beyond excited to have our wedding there, this location is BEAUTIFUL! What you should know when booking a wedding here is that Frungillo runs the ceremony and reception and the Inn is responsible for any rooms you book, rehearsal dinner, after party, etc. if you should choose to book with them. Unfortunately, the communication between the Inn and Frungillo is extremely poor. When we booked our wedding (well over a year in advanced) we booked every room in the Inn for both Friday and Saturday nights, booked our rehearsal dinner Friday night and after party Saturday night at the Inn. Frungillo booked a Friday night wedding and we started receiving calls from both the caterer and the Inn asking us to release rooms for Friday night. Unfortunately, we were unable to because we had family coming in from out of town and our rooms were full. They continued to ask us to check in late on Friday up until a few days before the wedding. We were also under the impression that our rehearsal dinner would be in the downstairs tavern however due to serious miscommunication issues we were informed 2 days before the wedding that this would not be the case, I was beyond disappointed. Furthermore, we paid an additional fee to have a private room after party in the tavern and arranged to pay for the entire bar tab. When we arrived to the tavern for the after party we were surprised to find other people at the bar and the bartender began charging our guests. When we paid an extra fee to have our room be private we did not expect anyone other than our guests to be in the room and it was mortifying to invite our guests to our after party only to have them charged. The Inn did agree to refund those who's card was charged but the damage was done. The bartender also seemed annoyed when we asked him to ask the other guests to leave seeing as how we paid to have the room private. There were also issues with our rooms, for instance there was a leak in the ceiling of one of the rooms that was never fixed. Our bridal suite was never cleaned, we got to the room after the wedding hoping to take a bubble bath only to find that the tub was never cleaned, and when we arrived they couldn't find the key to our room causing us to have to rush to get to our rehearsal dinner on time. Also, one of our guests was charged twice for her room. Lexie, Taylor, and Dan are all amazing and a true pleasure to work with. However, unfortunately the manager Sue-Ann is disorganized, uncommunicative, and difficult to work with. Finally, when we checked out on Sunday the woman at the front desk was BEYOND rude and treated us so poorly it was embarrassing. Overall, the Inn was just such a poor experience and I was extremely disappointed. Reviewed on 26-12-2015

She and Sue really keep the best interest of their couples at heart and worked with us to make our vision of our perfect day come true. The Inn truly feels like your home where you invite all of your family and friends to celebrate one of the most important days of your life with you. One of my favorite parts about getting married at the Inn, was being able to visit the Inn on multiple occasions throughout the year. The food at the restaurant is honestly so delicious that I started to make up excuses to visit the Inn during the year. We also had a small âafter-partyâ at the tavern in the Inn after the wedding and let me tell you Iâve been hearing about how delicious the food was from all of my guests! We also filled the entire Inn with our guests and were able to continue the celebrations into the next morning by sharing (delicious!) breakfast with many of the guests. The rooms are just adorable and have so much character and it was so nice to have all of the festivities all in one place. The Inn is absolutely an amazing place to get married and even just to visit. I canât wait to go back for years to come to celebrate our anniversaries! Reviewed on 12-05-2015

Kayleigh Russo(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 26-10-2013 We are so glad we chose The Inn at Millrace Pond for our October wedding. We lucked out with a beautiful, sunny day that only added to the picturesque setting at the Inn, especially with the leaves changing colors. The staff at the Inn is professional, helpful & friendly. The rooms are old but well maintained & clean. They were flexible with me in reserving all of the rooms at the Inn & kept me in the loop when rooms opened up for the night before my wedding. They cleaned my bridal suite for me very early Saturday so I could get in there & start getting ready. As another bride pointed out, they do not give you a free room if you book all of the rooms but we did receive a 10% discount on each room for booking more than 10 rooms. Having breakfast included in everyone's room rate allowed us to enjoy breakfast with our family and friends who stayed at the Inn on Sunday morning without spending even more money. We could have opened the breakfast up to other people but the hours (8-10am only), size limitations & because the Inn was in the opposite direction of our other hotel and where most guests needed to drive to get home, we decided against it. Given the quality of the breakfast, we would've been disappointed if I paid $12/person to include other guests. One thing to note, the Inn (& not Frungillo Caterers who handles the cocktail hour/wedding reception food) is in charge of the \"after party\" in the tavern, if you choose to have one. We fell in love with the tavern, especially the fireplace, & decided to have an after party. I understand the after parties used to be overseen by Frungillo but the Inn is now taking this element over but we were misinformed on several different occasions about closing time, alcohol available & bartenders, which was a little frustrating. I would recommend working with Daniel, the Innkeeper, directly on after party items. Aside from those very minor things, it was our dream wedding and we're very grateful to the Inn staff! Laura Craig(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 27-10-2012 My new husband and I fell in love with the Inn at Millrace Pond at our first visit. We knew within 15 minutes it was the perfect place for the simple, rustic & fun wedding we wanted to have. The Inn is absolutely breathtaking in the fall, and it is truly a unique wedding location. \r\rOur experience working with the staff at the Inn was very positive - everyone we encountered was hard working & friendly. The cleaning crew worked VERY hard to have rooms ready for me and my bridesmaids to get into early on our wedding day, when they had a wedding the night before. \r\rThe Inn has so many great features that add to the overall wedding experience- a restaurant with delicious food for lunch or a rehearsal dinner, the Tavern (which is an amazing late-night hangout), the fire pit (we made S'mores!), and the rooms for your bridal party/family/guests. \r\rThe only reason I am giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because the Inn did not comp my husband and I our room for the wedding night. We had every room in the Inn reserved for the night, and my fiance & I even booked two rooms ourselves to have \"getting ready\" space. It would have been a nice courtesy to have one of our rooms comped for our wedding night.\r\rThat concern aside- our wedding was perfect & worth every penny! Reviewed on 13-11-2012
Susan Brady(bride)2 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 21-04-2012 Long, long story short: We contracted for a 5 hour reception with the manager, and we were told that he would be on premises for our wedding. The day of the wedding we were introduced to our maitreâd and the manager was not at our wedding. The contract information was never given to the maitreâd. Instead of the contracted 5 hour reception which was to end at midnight, the maitreâd told the band to wrap it up at 10:30, at which time the wait staff began clearing tables. When we finally got a hold of the maitreâd, advised him of his mistake, and he called the manager in charge, the wedding was over. The band left, our guests left by 11:00. In an attempt to compensate for the 1 ½ hours of reception time lost, band time lost, and our embarrassment, we were given our room at the inn for free. This does not compensate for the band time lost, not to mention losing the reception time. When we complained to the manager, he told us he thought the free room was fair compensation. When we wrote to Frungillo, he just flipped our letter to the manager, who again did nothing more. Our contract said midnight, our wedding invitations said midnight, but our wedding ended at 10:30 (not even 11:00!). We are now seeking remedy in small claim court. We could have overlooked this and just taken the loss, however there were so many smaller issues that we had to contend with throughout the day that made us feel that there was a blatant lack if care or consideration that was given to us. If you do decide to have your wedding at this location (it IS beautiful, the rooms are lovely, and the food is exceptional), be prepared to be VIGILENT and be prepared to have to MICRO MANAGE your wedding, as you will need to. Kate Paquette(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 21-07-2012 The inn is a beautiful place for a wedding. We wanted a romantic backyard feel and found it. We wanted a place that could house some of our friends and family on site for a great wedding weekend party and we found it. They had tennis courts which the boys used for wiffleball and a bonfire pit that we used after the wedding (although we had to bring our own chairs up to the site in the dark because no one helped us and there was not a lit path up the hill). With the onsite restaurant we were able to have the rehearsal dinner on site as well which made planning much easier. We were told we would be eating the food cooked at the Inn but ate food cooked by the caterer so that was a bit of a disappointment (especially for the price we paid) as the food at the Inn is top notch. The innkeeper, Christine, was very kind and flexible to my requests. She took care of the the small leak problem in two rooms (it had just stormed so she comped the rooms). The rooms are a little outdated and the towels are a bit rough and old looking. There is a florist on site, Peggy and she is absolutely WONDERFUL. She was extremely helpful during the process, even taking on jobs that did not involve flowers. Having a florist on site was extremely helpful because I chose very delicate flowers. They were able to stay in water until last minute and she pinned all the bouts on the men. If you want any decorating done you have to do it yourself. The caterer (Frungillo) promised to help and have things done and then just didn not do them. Overall, we felt our wedding was perfect (minus the catering glitches) and we had a great time at the Inn despite the few stressors (all from the caterers (Frungillo)) and their broken promises. The caterer is the ONLY downfall to this venue. The Inn is beautiful, peaceful and feels like home. Reviewed on 02-08-2012
ann persadsingh(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 16-07-2011 There were some problems with getting it all together pre-wedding day; but the folks at the Inn were very nice and made every effort to accommodate us, and make the wedding day successful. The staff were really great, very considerate and caring, most of all very friendly. There were little glitches, which were taken care of immediately -- the refrigerator was left open on THE DAY, and the bottom tier of the cake melted! Two of my husbandâs friends who are chefs were able to weave their magic and fix it. Although there were problems, all and all, it turned out to be a great day, at a beautiful place â we couldn't ask for anything better! Reviewed on 12-08-2011
