We got married at Haley Mansion on 10/6/23. Our wedding day was amazing! Everything went so smoothly and better than I could have ever hoped! Thank you Sue, Zach, Brenda, Jake and team for making our day truly special and relatively stress free. The venue and mansion are gorgeous and food is also amazing! From the time of booking in 2022 the Inn went through several staffing changes which at times was challenging, Sue was our 4th wedding coordinator and we really appreciated her ability to pivot and make things happen for us as there was many communications prior to her starting. She was able to get our after party and farewell brunch taken care of with relatively short notice and our wedding day went off without a hitch. I would definitely recommend the venue as it’s so beautiful and well worth it for the money spent. We had some hiccups but nothing I would say that would deter me from recommending this venue! Thank you again Sue and team for everything you did to make our wedding day something we will never forget. Reviewed on 14-11-2023

I don't even know where to begin. Our wedding was a year and a half in the making. We planned an entire weekend of festivities at the Inn at Mystic - not to mention hotel rooms as well. We had a wonderful wedding planner who without her we wouldn't have had a wedding at all and probably would have lost money. During the course of planning this event, it became a full time job for my daughter, the planner, and I to put out the fires that this incompetent staff put us through. There was an entire month where we had no communication after countless tries. When we finally did start communicating again weeks would go by without answers to our questions. We got contracts with other peoples food, wrong spelling of our names, it goes on and on. They were not more equipt for planning weddings than we were and we sadly paid the price. In more ways than one. The setting was beautiful and the food fantastic after all was said and done, but they messed up on the BEO and we lost an hour of the band playing. We hired a band for an extra special touch and they didn't have the time to play all the songs because the food was an hour late. it was NOT seemless. At the end of the evening, the band member came up to us and told us that they too were frustrated. It was not until today, a month after the wedding did the General Manager Scott contact us about all of this. He was the man behind the curtain so to speak for a year and a half. Todays meeting was pointing fingers at everyone but themselves. It was NOT the Bands fault. We spent our married lives saving for my daughters wedding in hopes for a day to remember - we made that happen but not without terrible stress with this venue. to add insult to injury, they charged us twice for the brunch and didn't even enquire before they used my credit card. I had to do all the legwork to rectify that. Would I recommend Haley Mansion to anybody? no way. Stay away. There are plenty more places to get married where I'm sure they are happy to have you. we did not feel that way at all here Reviewed on 04-10-2023

We just had our wedding at the Inn at Mystic in June and it was the absolute best day of our lives! The staff were so helpful and friendly and I felt fully confident going into our wedding day that it would be perfect. All of our guests LOVED that the ceremony, reception, after party and hotel rooms were all on property. I've gotten so many compliments on how beautiful the mansion and reception tent were and all of the food - from the cocktail hour and reception food to the after party food at Rocks 21! I didn't realize when booking our after party at Rocks 21 they would give us the whole downstairs with our own bar and food station setup, so it was truly perfect. I wouldn't change a thing about my wedding day - I highly recommend reaching out to Liana and team, they're amazing! Reviewed on 17-08-2023

We’re so happy and honored to say what a phenomenal and perfect day we had on July 2nd, thanks to the entire staff at Haley Mansion/Inn at Mystic/Rocks 21. Our entire weekend was above and beyond what we could have imagined. We’re still receiving daily comments from guests on how beautiful the venue was and how tasty the food was. The mansion has constantly adding upgrades since our initial visit in May of 2022 - the twinkle lights to the reception area gave it such a magical and romantic ambiance, and the new furniture throughout the mansion is beautiful. The food was perfect. Every single bite was perfect from the raw bar to the entrees. Normally wedding food is nothing to write home about, but this was truly restaurant quality. So many people told us “make sure you eat”, we ended up perhaps eating a little too much since the food was so good. On the day of, Gail ran the show perfectly. Everything was efficiently executed and she ensured each and every guest was properly accommodated. We could not thank her enough for her efforts. We had an absolute blast. Our number one goal was to make sure everyone had fun. And what fun did everyone have. We’d like to think it was a combination of the band/mullets on the dance floor, but we couldn’t have had this much fun without how well the staff took care of everyone and made our/our guests day absolutely effortless. The staff has a great future ahead with some phenomenal adds to the team. You’ll definitely be in great hands. Thank you so much Gail, Brenda, Liana, all of the day of staff, and of course our favorite bar manager, Jake! Reviewed on 20-07-2023

Mary is the most wonderful, communicative, kind, organized, thorough, dedicated, and optimistic coordinator we could ever have worked with. The Inn at Mystic and Haley Mansion are very lucky to have her. As an anxious bride, she made me feel at ease, even calling me late one evening to sort out a hotel booking problem. She made it so we didn’t have to worry about a thing and kept us on track all the way to the end of our wedding. Our day ran so smoothly and the staff were all so helpful and efficient. We were taken care of from beginning to end. Our families had nothing but wonderful things to say about the food and staff, and both mine and my husband’s father kept complimenting the bartenders especially! It is beautiful and a perfect setting for a wedding. Views of the water from the top of the hill in Mystic, which is the town we were engaged in. And Mary Brasile, OH MARY IS THE BEST! I knew after our first visit of the Inn and tour of the mansion and the grounds with Mary, I felt like I’d known her and we could’ve easily spent the whole day there talking with her! She is the sweetest woman, so many years of experience of being in the wedding world, so helpful and considerate. She was a great person to bounce ideas off of; she helped me find many of our vendors; knew when I needed to take a breathe and reminded me she and her team would have it all under control and they did! I loved how they decorated our cocktail hour with items we brought from home. She checked in on me throughout the day and truly became a friend. We will absolutely visit Mary when we’re in town. Courtney Nevins(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 07-08-2021 This place is just amazing. We could have brought no decorations at all and the scenery would have spoke for itself. Mary, Gayle and the team made everything going seamlessly on what could have been a very hectic day. When we were looking for a location for our weeding, we wanting something all-incumpasing - meaning our ceremony/reception, places for people to stay, after party, and walkable distance to what might be around and i have to say THIS PLACE IS IT! We loved that most of our guests stayed in the Inn itself, and anyone who chose to stay somewhere near by was only a 5 minute uber. Throughout the whole planning process, Mary was our savior! Yes we had to reschedule due to COVID, but everyone at the Inn gave us options - elopement at the Inn with reception later on, rescheduling completely and honoring what we had originally agreed upon. Mary was so attentive to our questions and concerns and she honestly made us feel like part of the family. When wedding weekend came, we of course had some last minute changes and there was nothing but hospitality provided. The whole crew made it still feel like OUR DAY without being pushy or suggestive, though many of their recommendations ended up being the best course of action. The food was AMAZING and we were so happy to have the same chef for the farewell breakfast the next day. Whatever you need, they can provide for you. The getting-ready room was perfect for my bridal party, my husband was able to get ready in one of the beautiful mansion rooms upstairs, and they were even able to provide a golf cart for our elderly guest thats otherwise would have had troubles. Rocks 21 was perfect for our after party, looking out over the ocean on the balcony and some late night snacks. I am over the moon with my experience at The Inn At Mystic and Haley Mansion, and would highly recommend for a big group, small group or even a weekend get away (short walk to downtown Mystic!) thank you SO MUCH to the whole crew at the Inn, our day could not have been more perfect! Having the ceremony, reception, after party, and hotel rooms all in one place is a game changer. Everyone had a blast! There are stunning water views everywhere you turn and the gardens were absolutely beautiful. You couldn’t ask for a better place for wedding photos. We were supposed to get married last year so this was our 3rd scheduled wedding date. Gina Lorenzetti(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-10-2020 We had originally booked a different venue and had the Inn at Mystic as our hotel block and Rocks 21 as our rehearsal dinner. But less than 2 months before our wedding we found out our orignal venue could no longer safely handle 60 guests outside due to COVID. I had called Mary to find out my options with the hotel block and rehearsal dinner and she asked if we had looked at Haley Mansion. We hadn't looked anywhere else yet because we were just shocked with the news of the wedding we were planning for over 2 years would no longer happen. We immediately scheduled a visit to tour Haley Mansion and LOVED IT! Especially since our guests would be staying on site, we could cancel transportation and everything was a little bit easier. Haley Mansion has a beautiful tent and views! Our ceremony overlooked the water, our cocktail hour overlooked the harbor, the rocks and trees were beautiful. It honestly turned out a million times better than our original venue and we could not have been happier!! Mary and her team were also so helpful at Haley Mansion!!! They were able to recreate our favorite salad from a local restaurant, we had 2 specialty drinks, the food was AMAZING! Guests are still commenting that they were highly impressed by the food and staff! Mary was above and beyond helpful in coordinating, helping with decorations and setup, and a large variety of everything else. Haley Mansion was absolutely perfect! I also had 1 guest with a very longgg list of allergies and she contacted Mary beforehand and the chef was able to make her something without allergens. We also didn't want to do a cake cutting ceremony and wanted to cut a large wheel of brie to kickoff cocktail her. Mary and Haley Mansion made that happen and we were SO THANKFUL! We ended up canceling our rehearsal dinner at Rocks 21 but went there for drinks and apps after the rehearsal and after the wedding. The staff there was highly accommodating to a rowdy- after wedding crowd. I cannot thank them enough! We also enjoyed using the bonfire outside!! Our rooms at Inn at Mystic were great too! We were able to stay in the suite so the groom and groomsmen could get ready there morning of. We booked a variety of other rooms for our guests to choose from with varying price points. My one and only complaint about the entire weekend was the front desk (Kevin) did not do a good job at handing out our welcome bags when guests checked in. We had made and told him that when guests check in, there is 1 per headcount for guests, not for rooms. The vast majority of our guests did not receive welcome bags the first night so we went down to remind him twice MORE and he still wasn't handing them out. All of our guests were through our wedding block so they had a note on their room that they were a part of our wedding. Most guests picked them up when they checked out after we gave up reminding the front desk and just told guests to get them themselves. Overall I cannot recommend Haley Mansion, Rocks 21, Mary, and the rest of the staff enough. They truly made our wedding everything we wanted and more. Reviewed on 25-10-2020

Joanna G(bride)2 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 19-08-2017 Worst experience. Initially we were very happy with our wedding coordinator Tiffany. However, when Tiffany decided not to return from her maternity leave in the winter (totally understandable) we were switched over to Meg. However, no one ever told us this and for months I was emailing Tiffany with no response. Fast forward to our tasting (which was rescheduled twice due to Meg’s mistakes), it was a nightmare. Meg assured us she had been in the business for 20+ years, however, we found that hard to believe when she didn’t even know the answer to basic questions about the Inn– I ended up googling them all for myself. She said she would have our banquet event form to us in about two-three weeks. It took 3 MONTHS to get this from her! I had to follow up weekly for this. Not to mention when we finally received it the amount of errors on the page made my head spin – names were completely wrong, details incorrect grammatical errors all over the place. It was honestly as if it were another couples form. It amazed me that she even thought this was acceptable to send to a client. -\tMeg never sent us a seating or meal chart so I ended up creating my own. Then a week before the wedding she sent it to me asking to fill it out as if I had all of this free time. -\tThere was originally a Friday wedding scheduled so we had to have our rehearsal at 1pm on Friday (which meant everyone involved had to take the day off from work). She called me Friday morning to say the wedding had just been canceled and that we could have a room in the mansion but still keeping our 1pm rehearsal. However, come to find out from staff members they had known about the cancellation for weeks! Which meant we could’ve had our rehearsal at a normal time, which Meg knew was very important to us.-\tWe had a vvvvery expensive bottle of champagne that was meant for my husband I and I to pop after we were married. By the time we got to the tent it was popped and served to all the guests. We only had one glass for the two of us.-\tWe were told we would have a private attendant the whole night. That did not even come close to happening. In fact, guests were offering to get us drinks because no one was tending to us. I actually waited in the bar line at my own wedding for 10 minutes and was ignored by the bartender.-\tThey ran out of bud light before dinner even started, which was one of the drinks we said we wanted-\tMy bridesmaids almost walked down the aisle without their flowers because they were never given to them-\tMeg took my dad’s boutonniere off and gave it to someone else – mind you he has Alzheimer’s (which she knew) so he didn’t know any better to say anything. -\tMeg kept rushing us to cut the cake and now we know why – she was able to leave for the night after we cut the cake. -\tOur table layout was complete opposite of what we gave her. We had close family sitting in a corner. -\tWe had enough cake to feed 275 people (our wedding was 138) and half of the guests didn’t even get cake – including the bride and groom – because they “couldn’t find the rest of it.” Come to find out they found it the next morning in a freezer and we had to take home an entire sheet of cake. -\tThe 5 rooms in the mansion were part of our overall contract and already paid for yet, all of the guests were charged for their rooms the next day. -\tWe are still seeing random charges from the Inn appear on our credit card statements…which we are STILL following up about three months later. Carolyn Ziv(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 06-09-2015 My husband and I got engaged while living abroad in Liberia, so I dispatched my sister to scout wedding venues for me. I had always wanted to be married at the Haley Mansion at the Inn at Mystic, which is located five miles from my childhood home. My sister solidified my choice when she reported back that Tiffany, the coordinator, was amazing; that the place was being renovated and would be even more gorgeous by the time of the big day; and that it seemed like the staff would really make sure our day was special - in other words, that they were going to invest in us as much as we were investing in them.\r\rI'm happy to say this assessment was 110% accurate! Tiffany and her colleague, Malana, were wonderful and accommodated our every wish, answered our every question, and helped in any way they could. They let us allow our guests to choose not only their entrees but also their appetizers, they added a cot to a mansion room so a friend who traveled all the way from Liberia could stay with my maid of honor, they let us add decor wherever we wanted...they were just excellent to work with.\r\rThe food was also AMAZING and the staff were friendly and gracious. Our guests gave many compliments on both fronts - and we had guests who traveled from Israel, South Sudan, Senegal and Liberia, so this meant a lot to us.\r\rFinally, as compared to other venues in the area, you get a LOT for your money here. The cost I listed includes Chaviari chair rentals, ceremony fee (we had it on the grounds), mansion rental (five rooms for us and some guests), all gratuity and taxes, and an extra hour of open bar for our 102 guests. Oh, and with the Inn and the Harbour House Restaurant with a bar on site, you can move the party to the bar easily at 10 PM, when the music must be turned off at the mansion due to local noise laws (just make sure you talk to the bartenders at the restaurant first to ask them to stay open for you, because they might close before 10 if they have a slow night).\r\rI highly recommend this venue. If you are worried about rain, the tent is over a patio that is directly attached to the mansion, so at the worst case it may rain, but your guests will not have too walk on the soggy ground. We got very lucky and had a beautiful sunshiney day!\r\rHope this review helps at least a few brides-to-be!\r\rLots of love and luck,\rCarolyn Ziv Reviewed on 12-09-2015
