My husband and I cannot say enough good things about working with the staff of Itasca Country Club. Our event coordinator, Susie, was incredibly kind, supportive, and attentive to our many questions and needs. Leading up to the wedding she always made time for us and was present in answering our questions whenever they arose. On the day of our wedding, she was so wonderful at keeping up with our timeline and checking in with us to make sure everything was running smoothly and that we were happy. The staff present on the day of our wedding were amazing. They were quick with flipping our ceremony space, setting up our tables, and making sure guests got their meals in a timely manner. The food was absolutely wonderful and we have only heard great things from our guests about their dinners. We also want to emphasize how wonderful our bartenders were. We had provided signature drink recipes about a week before the wedding and they followed them to a T. Even before the ceremony got started, they prepared the specialty drinks for my husband and me to sample and enjoy. They did an excellent job and were so sweet to us and our guests throughout the night. We were so pleased with how our signature cocktails turned out.Overall, every staff member we interacted with was incredibly kind and supportive during our wedding. And we know that there are a lot of behind the scenes work going on, so to any staff member we didn't get to see and thank in person - THANK YOU! We appreciate all of their hard work in making our day so special and magical.

We were so thrilled with our experience at ICC. The moment we stepped in, we knew it was our wedding venue. The staff was so incredibly nice & were easy to work with. They helped us with anything we needed and were always available whenever we had any questions. Everyone at our wedding also could not stop raving about how delicious the food was! The perk of having a bridal suite AND grooms suite was also nice, and the fact that we were able to go out on the beautiful greens for pictures was perfect. We would highly recommend choosing ICC as your wedding venue.

Working with Itasca Country Club was overall a wonderful experience! The food was the biggest selling point and it was incredible. There were. Few wonky moments in that during our 1.5 years of planning the wedding, our point of contact changed 3 times without notice and we had to go over everything again. This was especially stressful at the 3 month mark when we learned our point of contact and day of person changed again. With that being said, each point of contact was fabulous and helpful and Jamie, who we worked with the last 2-3 months, was so sweet and helpful while trying to catch up on everything. The venue staff on the day of were so wonderful and helpful so I would absolutely recommend Itasca Country Club to others!

Everything on our wedding day went smoothly, the food was great, the service that Kristi provided to us was amazing as well. My only complaint is that prior to our wedding when we were closing in on 3 months, 2 months and even a month prior it was hard to get a hold of someone that would be able to answer our questions. That was the only stressful thing as we sometimes had important questions like how much certain things cost, food for our tasting, a time to start our wedding at (we basically picked a time and told the venue we already sent out invites), and an itinerary wasn’t done basically until the week of our wedding. Kristi only worked at Itasca when we were about a little less than 2 months out from our wedding, but with the little time she had with us she did an amazing job. I would give it overall a 4.5 out of 5.

Susie was our coordinator and she helped us so much leading up to the wedding and even on the day of. The food was also AMAZING. All of our guests raved about the food and said it was the best food they've had at a wedding, especially the chicken parmesan, haha. ICC was the perfect setting for our wedding and we are so grateful to them and their staff for making our wedding day so perfect.

I come from an event planning background- and I was floored by how streamlined the whole process was from start to finish. The club's event team is full of upstanding professionals. Susie and Mary were wonderful throughout the planning process- and in earnest took the stress out of the planning/coordination experience. All the banquet staff were amazing. When you book here, you're getting the full service experience. Take it from the event planner bride- skip the planner or the DIY coordination and book at the club- you will NOT regret it!

I would love to start off and say Greg was an amazing coordinator. He made the whole booking process so easy. He also was super accommodating and made himself available at all times. Every request I had he delivered, he worked with all the vendors and made sure everything was perfect. I was the maid of honor for my cousins wedding and the day of the wedding Greg made sure everything was ready to go so I could get ready and have fun with the bridal party. I've worked with many places before and I will say Itasca Country Club is number #1 with what they do. The food is amazing and the venue is so beautiful. The venue has a beautiful bridal suite so you can get ready there. He also had the Mariconda room for the Groomsman so they had somewhere to hang out before the wedding. I 100% recommend Itasca Country Club and Greg to anyone looking to book an event.Already booked another event with them and they are my go to place. Check them out! I can't say enough good things about Itasca Country Club. Susie was amazingly helpful throughout the entire process. We had to postpone our wedding due to Covid, and Itasca was extremely gracious in allowing us to do so without financial penalty. ICC is a beautiful event space - both inside and outside. Seriously, the grounds make for the perfect picture backdrop!! I highly recommend checking out ICC for your wedding.

The gorgeous views, being tucked away from the rest of the world, the beautiful windows, floors and lighting all helped make our day unforgettable. The staff is absolutely wonderful, attentive, helpful and willing to drop everything to assist. Let’s not forget, the food, it is absolutely delicious!Susie was a wonderful coordinated and answered any questions we could have possibly had. Not only was she wonderful during the planning process, but she was the best when it came to the day of and making sure everything went perfectly! However, it was so magical we have decided to book our baby shower there as well. Working with Susie and the whole Itasca country club team was beyond words. All of our guests still talk about how amazing the food was and the room looked. Everything was spot on thanks to them. I cannot recommend this venue and staff enough!

We had our wedding at Itasca Country Club in September of 2021 and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. We were originally scheduled for 10/10/2020 and though the task of rescheduling a wedding was a lot in itself, ICC made the process so easy.We worked with our coordinator Greg, and truthfully owe it all to him as to why working with Itasca was so great. He was professional, knowledgable, and personable. He went above and beyond to make sure that our day was how we wanted. And he made sure that every little detail was taken care of. That way, as the bride, I didn't have to worry about a thing. Having the whole space to ourselves was wonderful: we put our sweets table where cocktail was and it was a great space for our older family/kiddos to be able to a part of the room but a ways away. The neutral color scheme of the venue is beautiful, and it really helps you bring your own style to the place without worrying about clashing colors/decor. The windows add so much natural light to the room, especially at sunset. The food/drinks were great. The views from the golf course made for beautiful photos. Can't say enough positive things about Greg and the Itasca Country Club. Highly recommend!

We were originally scheduled for 10/10/2020 and though the task of rescheduling a wedding was a lot in itself, ICC made the process so easy.We worked with our coordinator Greg, and truthfully owe it all to him as to why working with Itasca was so great. He was professional, knowledgable, and personable. He went above and beyond to make sure that our day was how we wanted. And he made sure that every little detail was taken care of. That way, as the bride, I didn't have to worry about a thing. Having the whole space to ourselves was wonderful: we put our sweets table where cocktail was and it was a great space for our older family/kiddos to be able to a part of the room but a ways away. The neutral color scheme of the venue is beautiful, and it really helps you bring your own style to the place without worrying about clashing colors/decor. The windows add so much natural light to the room, especially at sunset. The food/drinks were great. The views from the golf course made for beautiful photos. Can't say enough positive things about Greg and the Itasca Country Club. Highly recommend!

Itasca Country Club is a beautiful place to have a wedding. The scenery is beautiful, the food is delicious and the staff is wonderful. Susie was extremely hands on during our wedding day and made sure everything was perfect. She and her staff went above and beyond to service our guests and make sure the night ran smoothly and according to schedule. Leading up to the event; no request was too big and they accommodated all of our needs and made sure we had everything we could possibly want. My husband and I cannot recommend them enough - Excellent Venue!

We had our wedding at Itasca Country Club in July 2021 after postponing from June 2020.. I will start out by saying they were extremely accommodating with postponing with no extra fees or anything. I will also say that the venue is absolutely beautiful (one of the only venues I have seen that has wood floors and not the ugly banquet hall floral carpeting) and the food is AMAZING. But, unfortunately I was very disappointed in the service we had the day of the wedding. I would say if you plan on havjng your wedding here, you need to have a wedding planner, as the country club is not attentive enough to the details of an event. Some examples of issues we had were: the bar options we had chosen and written in our contract were not the same as the alcohol options they had at our wedding (we specifically had a brand of alcohol for my dad in the contract… they had 1 bottle for the entire 200 person wedding), they did not have forks for the dessert table, so guests were eating cake with their hands, and there was a mishap with our late night snack where it was never served (both our fault for not catching the mistake before the wedding, but also on the venue for not catching it as well) and some other small issues.My mom went into the country club after the wedding to discuss our issues and was told they would reach out to my husband and I about it. It has been 2 months and we have not heard a thing. Overall, I would say this venue is perfectly fine for someone who is okay with paying attention to every last detail themselves or will hire a planner to do it for them.

This is my favorite review to write! When booking all my wedding vendors, I paid close attention to reviews, so it was important to me to be detailed and open. I can honestly say I had my dream wedding thanks in part to Susie, Gina, and everyone at Itasca Country Club!!!! I had tons of questions, late-night emails, phone calls, changes, and everything in between, and Susie always had advice or an answer for me. If you are looking for a venue that has a coordinator who truly cares that you have the best day, and wants to make sure everything comes together for you, this is your spot.The venue itself is gorgeous. I picked it for a few reasons. The chandeliers and the wall of windows adds so much elegance to the ballroom. The Lyons room was perfect for a ceremony/cocktail hour.I had 170 guests and no one felt crowded. They provided an arch which I was able to decorate, and the addition of the fireplace for my winter wedding was dreamy! Even though I had a December wedding, I still was able to take pictures outside which were gorgeous, and I imagine the pictures in the summer are amazing!! Lastly, the bridal suite is huge and a great spot for the bridal party to hang out and get some peace and quiet before or after the ceremony, or as needed.You might not think you need fireworks at your wedding, but the fact that ICC partners with a fireworks company was a huge selling point for me. They aren't as outrageously expensive as you think, and the fireworks show was awesome! The best part is that you will literally get the most beautiful wedding pictures ever and guests will enjoy the show at the ballroom windows.I can't forget to mention the FOOD. I had multiple guests say it was the best wedding food they've had. Most steaks I have had at weddings are well-done or dry. The filet medallions were pink, juicy, and so tasty. The Itasca Chicken was also a huge hit! Dinner took a bit to get out to everyone, but everyone forgot about that after tasting it...seriously so good. I have to give a major shout out to the coordinator Susie. She is an angel sent from the wedding planning Gods. She helped me get a donut wall (#weddinggoals), answered all my emails and questions within hours, and worked with Gina (also an angel) to set up my wedding perfectly. I literally dropped off boxes of wedding decor, told her my vision, and I arrived 2 hours before the wedding to absolute perfection. If my makeup wasn't done I would have cried seeing it all put together like that. You are in incredibly good hands working with these ladies. They worked so hard to make sure I was happy, and I couldn't have asked for better. I will miss them!

Save yourself the headache and have your wedding somewhere else. I would not recommend this place to anyone.Our wedding was wonderful thanks to our amazing family and friends and all of our vendors so I hate to write anything negative about our day but it must be said. The venue itself is pretty, but the customer service and way things are handled was truly a nightmare. They are extremely disorganized, unaccommodating, and do not appreciate your business at all.I found out 4 weeks before my wedding that my coordinator was no longer there. No one from ICC let me know, I found out through my father when he went there to schedule a golf outing. I found that very rude and unprofessional, that the venue would not let me know that the coordinator I planned our entire wedding with was no longer employed there. Our coordinator, Sarah, had worked with us through the planning of our wedding and she was willing to make some deals and be accommodating in some regards. We had emails back and forth about these things. Once she was no longer there, the manager, Patrick, decided that he would not honor anything that we had worked on or that Sarah said ICC would do for us. He essentially called me a liar, (even though I had the written proof in emails) and that Sarah would never have said that. It was honestly such a disturbing conversation and left me in tears. There was not much I could do since it was only 2 weeks before our wedding besides just pay the extra money. They tried to rob us of every penny that they could.This institution is very disorganized, and a lot of things went wrong on the day of our wedding, despite telling the new coordinators several times what our requests were. It was very frustrating. A few things that went wrong were: the food was not what we tasted at our tasting, dinner wasn't served for some guest until 9pm, the room was set up incorrectly, dirty dishes everywhere, golf carts were not waiting for us for pictures, and many more things. If you want to have a fun experience planning your wedding and coordinators who listen, don't have it here .

I honestly have no idea what I would have done without her - since I was planning our wedding from California. The venue was absolutely beautiful. The food was wonderful- the Itasca chicken is my favorite! The fireworks were amazing and made our wedding extra special. Our guests raved about our venue and how much fun they had! i just want to say i am beyond thankful with all the people who work so hard at the itasca county club to make my wedding happend on july 22 2017. i want to give a shout out and special thanks to Patrick for everything that he did for us he was going crazy with all the madness going on from what mother nature did the night before but Patrick was able to make our dream come true letting us having our outdoor ceremony, im so thankful for all the people that worked so hard to make the place look beautiful! our wedding was a dream come true thanks to all the hard workers at itasca county club. Itasca county club provide us an amazing service, delicious food and magnificent people. Sara was an amazing person to us she is very organized and we feel very safe with her, megan was there for us the whole night making sure everything was running smooth and vicente an exceptional person who makes us feel like we were home his generosity and his personality is amazing itasca country club has amazing staff that knows how to treat people all my guest felt welcome because everything was perfect, definitely itasca country club is not only a beautiful place but the people who worked there is very polite they all put smiles on their faces and make everyone feel like home, at the end of the night no one wanted to leave itasca country club everyone felt so confortable! all my guest kept telling me how everything was so perfect and they highly that food was delicious. we highly recommend this place for any type of event everything about this place is amazing everything was so worth it and i am the happiest bride ever i had the wedding of my dream. i am beyond happy i choose itasca country club to make memories that will last forever

i just want to say i am beyond thankful with all the people who work so hard at the itasca county club to make my wedding happend on july 22 2017. i want to give a shout out and special thanks to Patrick for everything that he did for us he was going crazy with all the madness going on from what mother nature did the night before but Patrick was able to make our dream come true letting us having our outdoor ceremony, im so thankful for all the people that worked so hard to make the place look beautiful! our wedding was a dream come true thanks to all the hard workers at itasca county club. Itasca county club provide us an amazing service, delicious food and magnificent people. Sara was an amazing person to us she is very organized and we feel very safe with her, megan was there for us the whole night making sure everything was running smooth and vicente an exceptional person who makes us feel like we were home his generosity and his personality is amazing itasca country club has amazing staff that knows how to treat people all my guest felt welcome because everything was perfect, definitely itasca country club is not only a beautiful place but the people who worked there is very polite they all put smiles on their faces and make everyone feel like home, at the end of the night no one wanted to leave itasca country club everyone felt so confortable! all my guest kept telling me how everything was so perfect and they highly that food was delicious. we highly recommend this place for any type of event everything about this place is amazing everything was so worth it and i am the happiest bride ever i had the wedding of my dream. i am beyond happy i choose itasca country club to make memories that will last forever

Everything from the food, to the service, and the friendly staff.... I highly recommend booking Itasca for your wedding!!! Our wedding was at itasca 10/08/2016. Jancy and her staff were amazing!! Ryan and I were amazed with how everything turned out!! Since we live in the city it was sometimes hard to get out there and get things done, but Jancy always made it work. She even came in on her day off for us. The food was amazing, they set up everything for us perfectly, and they made sure Ryan and I had a blast. ICC was the best choice for our venue and I would recommend it to anyone!

Our wedding was at itasca 10/08/2016. Jancy and her staff were amazing!! Ryan and I were amazed with how everything turned out!! Since we live in the city it was sometimes hard to get out there and get things done, but Jancy always made it work. She even came in on her day off for us. The food was amazing, they set up everything for us perfectly, and they made sure Ryan and I had a blast. ICC was the best choice for our venue and I would recommend it to anyone!

I got married at Itasca this summer and had the perfect day. Our coordinator (Jancy) worked with us the entire year prior to make sure we were comfortable and relaxed on the day. We had planned to get married outdoors, but Illinois weather didn’t cooperate. Instead, we got married in the reception hall and it looked beautiful! We were able to overlook the golf course and fit all of our guests in a gorgeous setting. The all-inclusive nature of the venue helped reduce our stress with planning. The food was delicious, and there was never a line at the bar. Considering we had 160 adult guests, I was very impressed. The venue floor is all wood, so we were able to have a huge dance floor, which our DJ put to work. I highly recommend this venue for future weddings; the combination of helpful staff, beautiful facilities, and competitive pricing are hard to come by.

My daughter had you wedding there in June, 2016. It was beautiful. The venue looked bridal. The white covers on the chairs popped. The lights under the cake table and head tables where wonderful. We ended up moving indoors because of the weather and it worked out like it was meant to be. Loved that the dance floor was as wide as we wanted to make it. Not restricted by carpeting. Guests raved about the experience. The bar space was a nice size. The staff was very helpful and did everything we asked for. There were great locations outside for beautiful pictures.

I had my wedding here in June of 2014 and I honestly do not think it could have been more perfect. It was SUCH a great value that I was skeptical. However, the staff made me feel so much more at ease once we started getting into the gritty details of everything. The food was so good that even though I was crazy nervous, I still asked one of the servers for another plate. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to plan a wedding in the Chicagoland area.
