The Roswell Mill is a unique and cherished piece of Southern history. Originally built by Roswell King, it was destroyed in the Civil War and rebuilt in 1882. We are proud to have been a part of bringing the Mill back to life in 1991 as a special events facility, now famously known as, Ivy Hall. Complete with floor-to-ceiling windows and exposed wooden beams, this large, yet intimate room can be decorated and arranged to create the setting you’ve always dreamed of. Overlooking Vickery Creek, the courtyard is the perfect space for an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour. Complete with outdoor furnishings such as sofas, park benches, trees, and fairy lights. The wonderful food and beverage is provided by our own in-house company, Events Catering. We offer a range of food options and are happy to create a menu just for you! We host client receptions throughout the year so that you may experience our food and service, meet our senior staff, and ask questions before you pick your menu. An Account Manager will be assigned to help with all details. This is your go-to planning person – they will help in finding and scheduling all vendors, making a timeline for the day of, putting together your floor plan, menu choices, and much more. Eliminating the need for an outside planner or Day-of Coordinator! The Roswell Mill is full of history, and it can be the perfect place for you to begin making your own!

We got married at Ivy Hall in April of 2022 -- and goodness, it could not have been a more beautiful & perfect day. We originally toured Ivy Hall and their other venue on-site (Roswell Mill Club, also beautiful!) back in March of 2021 I believe, and from the very beginning, everybody on the staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and quick to answer any questions we would.Margaret was our day-of coordinator and who we first met there, and she was extremely organized, well-communicative, and made the entire process so easy and stress-free, I could not have imagined it being any better, truly.We were able to attend a tasting prior to our wedding day to pick out our menu, which on the day-of, everybody raved about. We also had a final planning meeting, as well as a ceremony meeting leading up to our big day. Everything felt very organized and there was never a moment where I felt unprepared when working with the venue.I also appreciated that they had us fill our vendor agreement forms with all of our vendors, it made everything feel more secure throughout the process.Our wedding day itself went by so quickly, but truly from taking photos beforehand, to the ceremony itself (which could not have been more stunning outside on that patio area and running water of the river in the background) to the reception and the send-off, I am so grateful that we chose to work with Events Catering. Whether you're considering moving forward with your event at Ivy Hall or Roswell Mill, I could not recommend them enough.

Cannot say enough words of EXCELLENCE about our experience with Ivy Hall. From the moment I spoke with, and then we met with, Jacob, it was as seamless, personalized, perfect, beautiful and FUN as imaginable! From the beginning Jacob listened and made the vision of the Bride & Groom come to life. His guidance every step of the way made it all flow to perfection on the day of!!! Taking care of all the personalized add-ons without batting an eye! He also worked (unbeknown to us) with the Maid of Honor in the timing of a special surprise guest - Blooper!So many of our (mother & father of the bride) friends reached out to us for weeks after the wedding saying it was the best reception they had ever attended. With over 200 I don't think more than 6 left before it ended!I cannot speak highly enough of our ENTIRE experience with Ivy Hall - my only regret is that we can't do it all again!!!

Every detail from the parking to the newlyweds departure was amazing. The venue was perfect, the food was delicious and the attention and professionalism of the staff was exceptional. All of our guest that we have heard back from were raving about their time there. Most comments were about the staff and what a truly amazing job they did. The staff spotted every potential bump in the road before it ever became a bump and took care of it. The whole staff made this a wonderful cherished memory for my whole family.

Ivy Hall was the perfect choice for my daughter's wedding! The entire staff are seasoned professionals and are readily available throughout the entire planning process! We had Margaret Dawalt as our main coordinator and she was absolutely fantastic! She had great advice and offered assistance whenever we needed it! Her knowledge of the process was extensive and made planning a breeze. The food is prepared in house and was extremely good! So many guests commented on the quality of the food and bar choices! Colleen, our ceremony coordinator, was also extremely attentive and stayed with us until the reception handoff to our Captain, Lenord, who took care of all reception details seamlessly! Highly recommend this venue for experience and peace of mind!

We had our wedding last year around October. We had a great time with the whole team from the Venue tour, food tasting, and the wedding day itself. Everything was perf! We had a very specific theme of rustic chic wedding and the whole team really made a fantastic outcome with the design. The place is perfect especially for 60 guests and the food was also awesome. We also preferred gluten free dishes and they all had great choices to serve. The guests were also satisfied and really enjoyed the day. We highly recommend this venue and catering service to anyone looking for a beautiful location and delicious food for their big day!

We had a wonderful experience at Ivy Hall for our wedding! We had a hard time finding the right venue for us, we first met with Margaret when we toured the venue and she helped seal the deal for us! The team is incredibly helpful (our account manager was Linda and ceremony coordinator was Colleen) and accommodating every step of the day and made sure our vision came to life. Having food/bev on-site at the venue and a rehearsal/ceremony + reception coordinator saved so much stress! I can’t say enough good things!

We had such a stellar experience working with Margaret, Jacob, and the whole team at Ivy Hall! Our wedding was everything we dreamed it would be, and the team was there with us every step of the way. They were so accommodating with our questions and special needs, and were always professional in how they handled everything. We were sold on the venue because it gave us multiple settings to create a seamless experience for our guests from the outdoor ceremony space to the open indoor reception area. The food was to die for, and we have heard so many wonderful things from our guests. We definitely recommend the tater-tot bar as we are still getting rave reviews from our friends. We are so happy we chose to host the most important day of our lives at Ivy Hall, and can’t thank the team enough for making it so magical!

The staff there was amazing to work with through the planning phase and I cannot express the level of service we got from the staff on the day of our wedding. The team at Ivy Hall coordinated all of the details with our vendors to pull together any loose ends which really helped with the stress as we got closer to wedding day. We still have people rave about the food from our wedding even 4 months later. I really want to shout out Margaret because she kept my mom and I sane and went above and beyond to make our vision come to life. I would 100% recommend Ivy Hall as venue to anyone and if I had to do it over again I would chose Ivy Hall in a heart beat.

Absolutely loved Ivy Hall for our wedding reception!! Everything about it was magical! The staff is incredible and so easy to work with (Margaret especially). Margaret guided me throughout the entire year of planning and made it so easy on us. We had a larger wedding which I was worried about, but Margaret did a wonderful job of helping me figure out the best way to accommodate everyone. They have an amazing vendor list as well which made finding a DJ, florist, baker, etc. as stress free as possible. They also have an in house kitchen and cook all the food there onsite which was a huge plus! The food was unreal!!! They had an event for all the couples getting married around the same date to all come in and try the different foods they offer from their menu. It was a special way to get to know other couples and to pick our wedding reception dinner menu. All I had to do the week of the wedding was drop off any extra decorations I wanted (which wasn’t much because they had mostly everything already included) and they had it all set up beautifully for the reception. When my husband and I arrived to our reception we were greeted by our day of coordinator and she took us to where we needed to be. I can’t express how grateful I am to have had the experience I did!! I would recommend Ivy Hall to every bride!!!!

It is a convenient location, our guests were comfortable,It was absolutely beautiful, the food was amazing, there was plenty of dancing space with 150 guests, and the setup was excellent. The staff keptEverything running smoothly, and they spoiled the bride and groom with table service during the reception, plus sent the couple home with servings of all of the wedding food and cake to go! Pricing was very transparent and reasonable. The staff was responsive to questions throughout the planning process and made things as easy as they could be. Definitely recommend!

We were so grateful to have her as our wedding coordinator and she played such a huge role in making our wedding day as perfect as it was. It's rare in this area to find a beautiful venue that offers everything Ivy Hall does - incredible staff, beautiful rustic charm, indoor & outdoor ceremony options, separate areas for cocktail hour and reception, amazing food options, gorgeous areas for photos, and wonderful recommendations for other wedding vendors. When touring other venues, I felt overwhelmed by all the things we would have had to plan for - tables, seating, linens, lighting, A/V, catering, bartenders, etc. All of these things were included with our package at Ivy Hall and it was such a relief to have an experienced team helping us with all of the details! If you are looking at wedding venues, you should absolutely meet with Margaret and tour Ivy Hall. It was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning process! We had the honor of working with Margaret at our latest wedding there. We've been to many weddings at Ivy Hall & have always been impressed with the events thrown there. Margaret was our account manager and she was amazing to work with. Colleen was our ceremony coordinator and she was awesome and kept us right on schedule. They helped to answer ALL the questions and were very responsive to any query. Ivy Hall, or their other venue the Roswell Mill Club, are terrific locations for couples who are looking to have an “all-in-one” wedding/reception in one location.

The staff were so gracious and kind in helping us move our daughter's wedding from November 2020 to April 2021 due to Covid. Margaret told us all we needed to know at the intro meeting and even gave us a lot of vendor recommendations. I cannot say enough good things about Ivy Hall. Our guests gushed about the wooden beams and Edison lighting of the venue, our photographer was thrilled with all of scenery for our photos (covered bridge, brick mill, lively creek, lush greenery, twinkle lights, etc.), and the venue was just our style. The people there made it even better!Margaret was our Account Manager. She has so many great ideas for layout, setup, and decor. She guided us along the way and helped us to find other good vendors to reach out to. She is a wonderful person to bounce ideas off of and is not intimidating at all. Margaret truly made us so comfortable and took so much pressure off of us and our event, Covid crisis and all. She even coordinated with all of our vendors the week of, making sure they had the information they needed and showed up on time, which made my life so much easier. She also managed the ceremony coordinator and event captains for the evening (trust me, their system works). During the actual day, I was so shocked to find that everything I had left there (table numbers, blankets for outdoor seating, bathroom basket, etc.) was set up perfectly - and I am picky! They really listened in all of our meetings and went above and beyond to make us and our guests feel safe in this crisis with last minute seating chart changes, mask usage, and spreading out the ceremony chairs. The ceremony was coordinate by a great woman on their staff named Coleen. She kept everyone in line, literally, and made sure that every grandma and toddling flower girl was where she was supposed to be at the right time. She shepherded us from pre-pictures to our announcement and was superb. Our Event Captains who managed the party made sure we were well fed and always had a drink in our hand and a water at our table all night. I am one of the few brides I know who had plenty to eat on her wedding day, and all the help she could dream of - need shoes that won't rub your blister from your bag? They're on it. Getting a little hot on the dance floor? They will get the air going. Is it time for your bouquet toss? They have prepped the DJ, grabbed your toss bouquet, and have the single ladies lined up. We really felt like they not only made sure our guests were having fun, but that we got to talk and dance and not worry about the rest. Could not have a higher opinion of the venue and the people at this company. We are looking forward to our much larger bash with them again next year!

Our wedding coordinator, Linda, was always available to answer questions and keep us on track throughout the planning process. This was especially important to us given the many changes required to our wedding because of COVID-19. Additionally, on the day of, Colleen and Leonard were absolutely phenomenal and made sure every last detail was taken care of without any need for worry! Speaking to the actual venue, its location by the creek and nature center is beautiful for photos. The Ivy Hall building was another reason we liked the venue, as the 2-story building provided a back-up in the case of poor weather. Luckily, our wedding day had clear skies, but we appreciated having options beforehand. This is a small detail my husband and I could not find easily at other venues that might really make a difference for someone wanting an outdoor option, but with a practical back-up indoors. We really liked the aesthetic of the indoor area as well. The wooden floors, strung lights, and traditional-looking bars provided a great vibe to the celebration which matched the personality of my husband and me.I highly recommend the venue for its caring staff, beautiful location, and perfect facility for a wedding or celebration. They always took time to answer any questions I had, whether through email or on the phone. Secondly, the food offered was delicious. There was not one thing that I tried at the tasting that was bad. Third, the venue is absolutely gorgeous!! Whether you're getting married in the height of summer or dead of winter, you're going to have a beautiful back drop for some amazing photos. If I had to do it over again, I would still pick Ivy Hall as our venue.

My friends and family who have gotten married elsewhere were envious of the stress free planning experience we had all thanks to this wonderful venue. The event space itself is beautiful but the historic grounds and river made for the perfect scenery for fall wedding pictures! Our account manager, Linda, was so helpful and the event staff was amazing! Linda was so organized and paid attention to every detail in planning and event setup. My husband and I could not recommend Ivy Hall enough. From our very first visit, we were struck by the beauty and unique qualities of the venue, from the gorgeous overlook of Vickery Creek, to the rustic inside of the venue that is just beautiful! The process leading up to the wedding was very helpful and efficient for finalizing plans. The client reception where we got to sample some of the food options was a great way to see the venue all set up, taste the delicious food, and talk with Linda about any questions we had. The actual day of the wedding could not have been more perfect! The staff was SO awesome and helpful, and they got everything set up flawlessly for our quite large wedding. The food was phenomenal, and we got compliments from all of our guests about how much they loved the appetizers and main course selections! We were well taken care of as the bride and groom, and we got generous portions of all of our food selections in a to-go bag to take with us after the wedding! Linda and all of the event staff were extremely friendly, hard-working, and efficient! The event went so smoothly and I am so thankful for all of the work they did to set it up better than I could’ve imagined. Again, I could not recommend Ivy Hall more!!!

The beautiful venue has a space for a large, accommodating reception and has a gorgeous indoor space in case it rains during the ceremony. Knowing we had a beautiful plan B was a huge selling point for us! The staff are incredibly kind and go out of their way to make sure that everything in the process is easy and fun. I worked closely with both Linda and Margaret and they were wonderful! Ivy Hall makes a point to help you with a timeline for planing that makes the whole process seem less overwhelming. There are gorgeous spaces for pictures, plenty of room to bring your own touches/decorations, and plenty of decorations available to use there if not! The food is absolutely delicious; our guests loved it! I wasn't stressed at all on my wedding day because the staff at Ivy Hall run like a well-oiled machine and are extremely professional while doing so. So glad we spent the best day of our lives at Ivy Hall!

My wedding reception was at Ivy Hall, and I had the MOST wonderful experience. The staff is amazing, both during the the months leading up to my wedding and on the day of. Each staff member I encountered was so friendly and willing to help. Ivy Hall assigns you an Account Manager for all the planning and prep, and at least one Event Captain for the event day. Margaret, my Account Manager, was so knowledgeable about the wedding planning process, and she shared honest and practical advice about what to do/not to do. But if you decide to go with the less practical way, she is on board too :) She coordinated my florist, DJ, cake vendor and photographer, making sure everyone was on the same page. I was not worried about anything during the entire process -- I knew they had it under control. There was no disappoint when I discovered I had to use their caterer... as their food was so delicious. They're willing to mix and match their menu to what you want. I have recommended this place to everyone I know. You should have your wedding/reception here. You won't regret it.

Bartenders were wonderful and my guests told me they had so much fun - and that's all of the important stuff :)A couple downers....- We were running late (which I assume happens frequently, but maybe not?) and I had a major makeup debacle and our day-of coordinators seemed very overwhelmed and stressed out which in turn only made me feel even more horrible. I wish they would have been a little more calm to help reduce the stress. They were also pretty rude to my maid-of-honor by demanding she do a few things... luckily, my MOH is very direct and quickly replied \"Isn't that your job\"? So I think they got the picture. I do understand it's their job to keep things on time and moving, and they definitely did, just think maybe a more calm approach could have helped!- One of their preferred vendors - Complete Music Atlanta DJ Service - was pretty horrible. The actual DJ was AMAZING. Played a great variety of music, was entertaining and was so kind to us. However, it was a disaster regarding the outdoor uplighting and microphones for our ceremony, which they also \"provided\". The microphones were yanked from us about an hour before the ceremony because the company didn't do their due diligence to tell us there was an associated fee (which we would have gladly paid). We were simply told that they had mics and we could use them. The owner's wife found out right before our wedding that we hadn't paid this said-fee so she said we weren't allowed to use them. I wish that our day-of coordinator would have brought this to my attention as they informed my now-husband who just said ok to keep things moving where if I knew, I would have demanded we get to use them and they wouldn't have gotten away with it. Then the uplighting... November does not give you a sunset wedding at 7 pm. We were sold a sunset wedding and it was almost pitch black when the ceremony began - Ivy Hall was very responsive to my concerns the week leading up to the wedding when we all realized the sun would set right before our ceremony began. They offered to cover the costs of the uplighting to ensure it looked beautiful - and it did. However, they did not rent them for long enough so the same lady that took the mics from us was also taking down the lights while we were trying to take our bride/groom pictures - she is literally in the background of some of the photos. When asked if they could stay a bit longer, she responded \"I have to get home, I have a sitter with my kids\" - I am an understanding person, but this shouldn't have been an issue to begin with and her unwillingness to be the least bit flexible is/was unacceptable. Additionally, I wrote the owner of the company to tell him what happened and never got a response. This obviously threw off what our photographer had planned and made for a less-than desirable experience and sub-par photos.

We absolutely loved working with Events Catering, and our reception at Ivy Hall was absolutely gorgeous. It makes for the perfect, rustic set-up and provides plenty of space, especially for larger parties. We loved that we were able to use the downstairs deck area for a fun cocktail hour with outdoor games like cornhole. Linda was our coordinator, and she was SO easy and pleasant to work with from day one. She has all the answers and was incredibly helpful in giving us pointers about the floor plan, vendors, certain decorations, etc. The only improvement that could be made to the venue (which is easier stated than done) is potentially adding a bathroom upstairs. The only bathroom is downstairs, which makes it difficult for handicap guests to access - not impossible, as they can walk/use a wheelchair down the hill outside the side of the building. But if possible, a single-person upstairs bathroom would make it much easier. All in all, Ivy Hall is a great wedding venue and I would (and already have) recommended it to friends.

We visited many wedding venues and then came to Roswell Mill/ Ivy Hall. (Events catering) We quickly discovered that this is not just “a venue” and highly recommend them. Compared to other venues, the cost seems close to others and then you see the value. Don’t get me wrong. Weddings are expensive. We also had the Ceremony there. Table cloths, linens, hurricane candles and arbors (if your wedding is outdoors) are included. They help by giving you a list of approved vendors, all of which were excellent. Our wedding was unusual in that we originally had 225, then dropped to 165. Linda went above and beyond to help us figure out numbers. On the actual night of the wedding, Margaret ran the ceremony smoothly, the table captain Scott was awesome and made sure everything ran smoothly. I did not meet chef Craig, but the food was delicious (we had many very picky foodies at the wedding.) Everyone especially loved the brie tarts and perfectly cooked pecan chicken with dirty rice. We were able to enjoy the wedding while not worrying about details that did not get taken care of. Be advised, when it is over they clean up before you can blink your eyes. Overall, this is a venue that will leave you with good memories of your event.

On the actual night of the wedding, Margaret ran the ceremony smoothly, the table captain Scott was awesome and made sure everything ran smoothly. I did not meet chef Craig, but the food was delicious (we had many very picky foodies at the wedding.) Everyone especially loved the brie tarts and perfectly cooked pecan chicken with dirty rice. We were able to enjoy the wedding while not worrying about details that did not get taken care of. Be advised, when it is over they clean up before you can blink your eyes. Overall, this is a venue that will leave you with good memories of your event.

From the very beginning, their staff made me feel completely taken care of and I was confident that they would successfully manage our big day. The historic and picturesque setting was amazing, and it was easy having the venue take care of both catering and beverage. Our coordinator Margaret was phenomenal- she was incredibly thorough addressing every last detail and helping to accommodate requests to make our event very personal. Every question was answered in a timely manner and Ipsy appreciate the day-of support and attention to detail. We held both our Ceremony and Reception at Ivy Hall. It was an absolutely beautiful location to have a wedding - right in the center of downtown Roswell overlooking the Chattahoochee River. Having both events in the same location made everything so easy - our guests were easily guided from the Ceremony to the Cocktail Hour to the Reception with ease. Linda and Carol were excellent to work with! I am an event planner with a wedding venue, so I was a little nervous handing over the reins. They handled everything on the day perfectly! The room looked beautiful: all of my special little décor details were placed out in the correct places. They coordinated with all of the vendors and took care of everything on the day-of. They moved the event along according to the timeline, but I never felt stressed or pressured. I have received so many compliments on the venue and the food. I am really proud of the wedding that we put together and choosing Ivy Hall as the venue was a large part of that. I would recommend it to any future couples!

Ivy Hall was a great venue for both our ceremony and reception. It was the first venue my fiancé and I visited and we fell in love with it instantly. The services Events Catering offers helped make our wedding process stress free. Linda answered every question my mom and I had regarding anything dealing with the wedding. After the tasting we wanted to try more dishes from the menu and Linda was able to arrange sample bags for us to taste. Colleen did an excellent job with our ceremony everything ran to schedule and was super organized. I did not have to worry about anything on the day of! I would've given 5 stars if they were more flexible. This venue is set in their ways and have a hard time steering away from cookie-cutter weddings. My fiance and I (mostly me) are not interested in anything cookie-cutter, but we fell in love with the location and space. It's absolutely gorgeous. Staff is pretty good at responding and being attentive day-of. If you want to tailor the menu to be more representative of you, then this place isn't for you. When signing the contract, we were initially told that they would provide us with the few things we really wanted to have for food. That never happened. Otherwise, everyone really enjoyed the event and agreed it was gorgeous. Also, I was skeptical of the rain-out room situation, and our wedding did get rained out. The plan B room was transformed (by my florist) and was absolutely perfect despite the weather.

We had our wedding reception on 9/30/2017 at Ivy Hall and it was fantastic. The space is amazing with the wood and windows and large enough to accommodate a big party (we had about 200 guests come). The food was delicious too, it was a huge plus that Ivy Hall makes their own food in house so it is served fresh!My point of contact was Linda and I cannot say enough good things about her! She would always respond to my emails, normally within 24 hours, and really did as much as she could to accommodate all of my requests- and I definitely had a lot of them!It should be noted that this venue is basically an all inclusive venue and a historical one at that. This means that they do have a specific image/feel they want stick to: most of their decor and furniture are permanent (we wanted to bring in chivari rental chairs), they like to do things in a very particular way (their floor plan is not very flexible, setting the tables with silverware/water is an extra cost), and they are very strict on how much time you have to set up (2 hours) and break down (1 hour) everything. In the end, these things were all details that no one noticed and it definitely did not detract from the actual event! This venue is not a \"blank canvas\" where everything is customizable which may frustrate some brides, but April and her team know what they are doing when it comes to coordinating a great event. We had one hell of a party and we are very happy with the way everything turned out!

First, I will start by saying they did a wonderful job on our wedding day. Everything went off without a hitch, and the staff was responsive, easy to work with, and professional. The venue itself is beautiful, and they have a wonderful outside patio space that can be used for a cocktail hour (weather permitting). We had the opportunity to use the space, and it was perfect for the guest overflow. The views of the river are absolutely beautiful and a great place to take pictures (the bridge is also amazing for that). The pricing for alcohol packages is very reasonable, and the food was very good--we heard our guests enjoyed it too!We were able to extend the reception time (they usually stop around 9:30 for 6:30 starts), but we paid for an extension to 10:30, which they agreed to do for us without issue. They also have a variety of linens to choose from beyond the traditional cream, white, and black, so be sure to ask about the selection! The only constructive things I have to offer are that that there are some things that were not 100% clear when we began working with them--1) The space is advertised that it can fit 250-275. It can--but that would mean using the upstairs and downstairs and separating the guests, which we definitely didn't want to do. We were fortunate to have 90% of the guests we invited RSVP yes, so we had to come up with a creative solution for seating. They ended up allowing us to do a clear tent off the side of the main floor with extra tables in it. It was heated and well-lit, and the guests that sat there said it was just fine, although I do wish we could've fit everyone comfortably in the same room. 2)They do catering in house (the food is very good!) but they do not do personal tastings--there will be a reception where they invite everyone who is having catered events based on a seasonal menu. 3)My family is big on good wine selection, and although we asked a few times prior to the day of the event, it was only about a week before that they let us know we could, indeed, ship in some of our own wine. My dad was a bit frustrated, because he didn't have enough time at that point to ship in the wines he originally wanted to provide. 4) Since the space is mostly wood (which is one of the reasons we liked it!) just be cognizant of the noise with bands--we knew we would have to be careful about where we sat our more elderly guests when we made the arrangements due to the noise level, so we weren't worried about it, but just keep that in mind if that's something you want to consider. 5) As it is a historic building, the only bathrooms are downstairs. If you have guests with mobility issues, this may be a problem for you. There is a ramp along the side (outside); however you need to go all the way outside and around to use it. Our guests were able to manage without issue, but it's something good to keep in mind. 6) Parking and Buses--not really something negative, just something to keep in mind: there is limited parking (uber is your guests' best friend!) and if you have any large buses, it is a challenge to get in and out (which we anticipated). Make sure you have a boss of a bus driver (ours was with Buckhead Coach and absolutely amazing) to get in and out, or just be ok with having any larger transports park a little bit outside of the entrance. Wasn't a huge issue for us, but something to be aware of. All in all, it was a wonderful reception and we were very happy with the way it turned out.

Ivy Hall did such an incredible job! I did my ceremony and reception here and everything was so seamless. We got 30 minutes for our ceremony, but only used 10 minutes so we were fairly early to start everything else. We had a ceremony planner and coordinator, an event captain, and a reception coordinator. Everything went off with out a hitch!! the food was tremendous and most of it we had them make gluten free. They did a great job making sure everything was labeled with gluten free markers. The team and staff were all so friendly and helpful.

Ivy Hall was absolutely wonderful! I invited 260 guests to our wedding, and there are very few reception venues in Roswell that can accommodate such a large number of people and still not feel cramped. The design of the space is elegant, but not stuffy. I had to bring in very little decor because the room was naturally so beautiful. It was wonderful to use a reception venue that provided in-house catering. They provided food, beverages, tables, chairs, linens, AND all china/silverware. This allowed me to focus my time and attention to other details, like flowers and photographers. Speaking of which, they also gave me a list of preferred vendors! I selected a florist and DJ they recommended, and both were fantastic!Leading up to the wedding, Linda worked with me side-by-side. She answered every email (always within a 24 hour period), and continually encouraged me to ask questions. We met a month prior to my event and she had already prepared a timeline. She communicated with my DJ, my photographer, my videographer, the bakery, and my florist leading up to the wedding. She let me drop off all of my decor pieces when it was convenient for my schedule (a godsend the week of), and she even made sure to have a six pack of my groom's favorite beer that they didn't have on their menu!When we arrived for our reception, we were immediately greeted with drinks and appetizers. When we sat down to eat dinner, the wait staff already had our dinner ready so we could sit back and relax. I never had to worry about timeline because Linda was keeping up with all logistical details. They even boxed up all of the gifts and cards so my family didn't have to worry at the end of the night.I would HIGHLY recommend Ivy Hall.

Ivy Hall was absolutely wonderful! I invited 260 guests to our wedding, and there are very few reception venues in Roswell that can accommodate such a large number of people and still not feel cramped. The design of the space is elegant, but not stuffy. I had to bring in very little decor because the room was naturally so beautiful. It was wonderful to use a reception venue that provided in-house catering. They provided food, beverages, tables, chairs, linens, AND all china/silverware. This allowed me to focus my time and attention to other details, like flowers and photographers. Speaking of which, they also gave me a list of preferred vendors! My daughter's wedding ceremony and reception were held at Ivy Hall. The staff were wonderful! From the initial planning to the final minutes of the reception, everything went smoothly and was handled in a most professional manner. They thought of every detail and were there with whatever we needed every time we turned around. Colleen and Linda were so helpful and patient with us. We had about 140 people, four stations of food, open bar and ceremony at the venue. The only reason I gave them four stars is because I was unaware that the only bathrooms in Ivy Hall were downstairs. We had several older people at the wedding and this did prove to be a hardship for them. Also, the ceremony and cocktails were downstairs and the ramp that is recommended for people who can't walk stairs is very precarious. It's an historic building so they can't just put in an elevator but I would recommend that they look at some way to accommodate people who are unable to navigate stairs. It was a beautiful day and everything went so smoothly! I highly recommend the venue, just be aware of the stair situation.

I used Ivy Hall at Roswell Mill for both my ceremony and my reception and had an absolutely perfect wedding day! The setting was perfect for pictures, with their beautiful covered bridge. It was so nice to have everything taken care of without the stress of setting everything up for the ceremony. I had my wedding here in September. They did a great job pulling together everything I wanted. Everything went very smoothly and we had no problems. The food tasted wonderful! The staff was always friendly and willing to answer any questions we had. I would highly recommend this venue.

My wedding took place on the backdeck at Ivy Hall. The site was beautiful and the staff was friendly. It rained right up until it was time for the guests to arrive and the staff did a great job getting everything cleaned and dried so we could still proceed outside. The upstairs and downstairs rooms were made available to the guests to stay cool and dry before the wedding, which was very helpful. The staff was also very attentive to the bride and groom throughout the day. The only negative was that we weren't allowed into site as early as we wanted, and it made our picture time before and after the wedding a little rushed. But, overall we had a lovely time and I'm glad we chose Ivy Hall to host our wedding.

As soon as we walked in we knew this was the place for our ceremony and reception. \rEveryone is still talking about how good the food was. The quality and quantity was perfect.\rThe staff was ready to take care of anything you needed. \r2 issues:\r1. April Huntsman Bloomer (Owner) After 35 years in the events business, I've seen it, been there and done it-and yet I still cry at weddings. Weddings are personal, each one is unique and they are supposed to be fun. We ensure it. We opened the company with these beliefs and we hold them dear. I love details, timelines, efficiency, adding personal details to parties, pretty flowers and chocolate.We are a family-owned business. My husband Craig and I opened Events Catering in 1987. With the help of excellent staff and hard work, we now have a successful business that provides joyful memories to our wonderful clients.
