The Ivy House was the most beautiful place to have our wedding!! Our guests raved about the venue, the bartenders, the staff, and our event coordinator, Mandi! One of my bridesmaids told me she has never seen such a terrific coordinator! Mandi really did everything we wanted and when our champagne wall didn’t fit the glasses, they took it in back and fixed the wall to fit the glasses!! If you are looking for a low stress day, this is your venue! Our caterers also raved about how much they loved working with this venue. The venue is naturally gorgeous and required very little extra decor! The bridal suite was perfect and fun to get ready in! The suite is the size of an apt, has a kitchen, getting ready tables, etc. They even have a speaker already there.Our DJ, Charlie, did such an amazing job. Our guests loved the dancing music but also really loved the cocktail hour and dinner music. He really made it an experience for us and our guests.

Talk about a venue that goes above and beyond! The Ivy House was just exceptional to work with and we feel so grateful we booked our vow renewal & wedding reception there. We seriously lucked out with the BEST in the game - specifically Matt Basteyns! We found Ivy House about 1.5 years before our preferred wedding date but there was a hold on it. We were browsing Filament (also looks awesome by Two Birds!) when Matt said that Ivy House had an opening for our daylight savings weekend date + we locked it in! From the beginning they were incredibly communicative and helpful, and also honored prices from a year prior that we had seen. Not only was Matt just so warm, inviting, knowledgeable and professional, but he was so much FUN to work with! He scoured places to find some Pride swag for us and our guests and had no problem making substitutes for our bar package literally the day before the wedding! He also offered hours before the wedding to offer our ceremony to be done outside on the back patio (gorgeous!) but we opted to stay inside for our guests. When I say he went above and beyond I truly mean it as even our parents were specifically taken care of the day of the wedding with specialty non-alcoholic drinks they preferred. Matt really made the day also go so smoothly and worked exceptionally well with all of our vendors. He also was a big hit for my husband and I giving us have a private dinner upstairs where we could enjoy an intimate meal together as husband and wife to get away from the crowd for a bit! The bartenders absolutely crushed it with our speciality cocktail ideas and made sure our guests were comfortable and happy.Also want to give a BIG shoutout to Jack from Milwaukee Airwaves who went above and beyond also with a highly difficult processional song request and mixed a song together that turned out so beautifully and made our ceremony dreams really come true! Not only that but Jack brought our officiant’s wallet to our after party location that was left at the venue. Besides the impeccable service that is provided, the space itself is so naturally stunning that we didn’t need to spend a lot of extra money on decor or floral needs because of this. I promise you are actually saving money by choosing this venue when it comes to the QUALITY that a venue provides (communication, professionalism, unique ideas, space, greenery, layout). We also saved money on transportation by having both our ceremony and reception here since it is so beautiful and wanted to utilize the entire day at this incredible space. Groomsmen loved the getting ready arcade area and the bridesmaids & mothers adored the *massive* getting ready penthouse that comes with a full kitchen for all of your needs. Guests loved the photobooth addition! I also want to highlight that their venue is very accessible for guests with varying walking abilities and has MANY stalls in their bathrooms (extremely important when hunting for good venues! We found other venues in the dt Milwaukee area had either just one or two stalls, or were not ADA friendly due to historic building regulations). I really could go on and on about how amazing of an experience it was that we had here but if you are looking for an iconic wedding venue and event space, seriously look no further than the Ivy House. They absolutely crushed it and got rave reviews from all those that attended our vow renewal party. Trust me when I say Ivy House is a pro and you will be in great hands!

Mandi Benjamin was #1 throughout the entire process. Every person we ran into who worked there was more than pleasant and helpful. Thanks to the whole team our day went very smoothly. My only recommendation is if you’re OCD about setting up the night before, it’s very rare you’d be able to do so here since this place is in such high demand! They do give you a small space in the back garage to pile things in the week of the wedding! Highly recommend! (Especially Mandi Benjamin 💝)!

Mandi Benjamin was #1 throughout the entire process. Every person we ran into who worked there was more than pleasant and helpful. Thanks to the whole team our day went very smoothly. Having our wedding at Ivy House was an absolute dream! From start to finish the Ivy House team made the wedding planning process as easy as possible and helped make it the perfect day. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and we had so many compliments from our friends and family about the space. We were fortunate enough with weather to have our ceremony outside on the patio and then dinner/dancing inside but their planning team gave us many options to personalize where we wanted various events throughout the day. There is beautiful ivy and greenery throughout the entire space so we really didn't need to add very much for wedding decor which helped significantly with cost savings.There is a bridal suite at Ivy House with a separate entrance that is PERFECT for getting ready the morning of the wedding. There was so much space for hair, makeup, and it came with basically a full kitchen and a professional grade steamer that was amazing to have for the day. The space is so cute too and a great unique place for a lot of getting ready photos. Throughout the night we were able to access the suite as well which was also great.Olivia was the event coordinator assigned to us and she was wonderful to work with, especially with how flexible she was with us not living in the same city as the venue. Specifically with meeting times and also drop off/pickup of our wedding decor for the day. She was very responsive whenever we had questions about the day, and she was very helpful in guiding us with various decisions we had to make. The day itself was seamless and my husband and I can't think of anything that we wish went differently!Olivia, the bartenders, and all other Ivy House Staff were professional, kind, and all of our guests said how great of an experience they had. While the venue itself is a beautiful place to celebrate your marriage, the Ivy House team is really what made it the absolute best day for us. Thank you again to Olivia and the Ivy House team, would recommend this venue for anyone looking for their wedding day!

The perfect wedding venue!! Not only is it incredibly gorgeous but everyone we worked with was so friendly and helpful. Mandi was our event manager and she was absolutely amazing! So communicative and helped us acquire special alcohol to give our wedding some personal touches. The patio was perfect for our cocktail hour and guests have not stopped complimenting the beautiful interior.

What an absolutely perfect venue. The Ivy that covers the inside is a dream, you can do very minimal decorations and still have it look great which is part of what drew us to the venue. The patio is lovely, it worked out great later in the night to have the older folks chatting out by the fire while the younger crowd was on the dance floor. The bartenders were great, one had some experience with mock tails which was great for our pregnant guests. Matt, our main contact, was great. He had a laid back vibe which worked for us. The whole day really did go smoother than I would have expected. It’s not the cheapest venue in the area, but we’re so happy we splurged a little for it and would 100% choose it again for both our ceremony and reception. I have nothing but the highest praise for the site and everyone we worked with.

If you are considering the Ivy House as your potential wedding venue, don’t even bother looking anywhere else because it truly does not get any better than them. They have weddings down to a science. Matt, our day-of coordinator, was an absolute dream to work with. During the planning process, he responded quickly to every email/text, made himself available for in-person meetings, and took the time to make sure that all of our needs were met. And on the day-of, he made everything an absolute breeze. We had to make last minute changes on our wedding day due to the weather, but Matt and the entire Ivy House crew made it seamless. Our guests could not stop raving about how beautiful the Ivy House is - the beautiful chandelier that hangs above the dance floor, the live ivy that grows around the reception space, the Fernweh patio, and the immaculate bar. As the bride, I greatly appreciated having the bridal suite access that the Ivy House provides for my bridesmaids and I to get ready in. It made the morning so much more stress-free to have all of my girls in one space to relax, de-stress, and enjoy each other’s company before the ceremony. The Ivy House has thought of everything in terms of making your wedding day perfect, and I could not recommend them enough. They went above and beyond in all aspects to help us have the wedding of our dreams.

I can not get over how magical and perfect our wedding day was. From the first day we toured the venue, we felt welcomed and valued as a couple. We instantly knew this was the place we wanted to share our special day. The venue itself is gorgeous and is a perfect canvas for stunning pictures. The staff is truly a dream team. I can honestly say they day went without a hitch (and if it did, I had no idea). They worked so hard to make everything go smoothly and give our guests an amazing experience. I have been raving about the ivy house and our guests are still talking about it. I may be biased, but I think this is the best venue in the Milwaukee area. The Ivy House is an epic space for any event, but it was simply magical for our wedding! How can you not get mesmerized by a backdrop of living ivy? Aside from that, though, the entire process of planning our wedding ceremony at the Ivy House was incredible. Matt is the man! He was professional, accommodating and always willing to go the extra mile to make our day incredible. He took the stress completely off of us and allowed us to simply enjoy all the little moments. Not to mention, the upstairs penthouse was not only an awesome space, but a super convenient option for our wedding party to get ready! Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better day or planner or wedding space to spoil our guests and ourselves. I told Matt, don't go anywhere, because the next event I plan will most certainly be with him in this incredible space!! A++++

The ivy house is beyond amazing. Each of the bartenders, our DJ JORDAN, and our coordinator Sarah were the very best. Sarah was super helpful, positive, professional, and overall everything you'd want/need to make sure your wedding goes well. We got so many compliments on how smoothly everything ran and we could not have done it without her and her guidance.The bartenders were also great, we were worried about a big line and that was never an issue at all. All the drinks were delicious (especially the signature cocktails) and the staff were super accommodating to weird requests from guests.The DJ Jordan kept the dance floor slammed all night long. He absolutely killed it and we were so happy with the music selection and loved his personality and vibe. He was perfect for our group and he seemed to be having fun which makes it all so much better.I might be biased but it's the best wedding I have ever been to :) we got so many compliments on how beautiful other venue is in general as well. 100/10 - thank you ivy house staff!

Sarah was super helpful, positive, professional, and overall everything you'd want/need to make sure your wedding goes well. We got so many compliments on how smoothly everything ran and we could not have done it without her and her guidance.The bartenders were also great, we were worried about a big line and that was never an issue at all. All the drinks were delicious (especially the signature cocktails) and the staff were super accommodating to weird requests from guests.The DJ Jordan kept the dance floor slammed all night long. He absolutely killed it and we were so happy with the music selection and loved his personality and vibe. He was perfect for our group and he seemed to be having fun which makes it all so much better.I might be biased but it's the best wedding I have ever been to :) we got so many compliments on how beautiful other venue is in general as well. 100/10 - thank you ivy house staff!

She was EXTREMELY helpful and professional! She answered all my millions of emails (even some texts) leading up to the day with such patience and kindness and whenever I forgot something she had it figured out already for me. I really am speechless on how amazing and caring Abby is, she took care of everything the day of and it all went so smoothly because of her hard work. She even met my husband and I at the end of the ceremony with cocktails in hand! Every little helpful detail you can think of Abby and the The Ivy House did it!Aaron was our DJ for the night and he also did an outstanding job! Our guests LOVED the music and danced all night! Tanner is so so awesome and went totally out of his way to make sure everything was perfect and amazing. He worked so hard to make sure me and my husband had everything we needed and our dream came to life. Tanner was so responsive and professional and made sure everything ran smoothly from the flowers to the DJ to the bar! I will forever reccomend this venue to anyone wedding planning. Yes, it was a little pricy but honestly so worth it. The venue is stunning and you get to see the space transform from day to night with all the natural light and ivy inside. The bridal suite on site was so nice and clean and had a full kitchen we used, and the green room was definitely used by people to get out of the noise. Everybody is still raving about how great of a wedding it was and I just want to thank Tanner and all of the Ivy House staff a million times over!!!

The dance floor was everything we wanted, and he kept the crowd engaged. Many of our family and friends told us how much they loved our DJ after our wedding. This place is THAT amazing, and after we toured the venue we learned that the people who work there are incredibly passionate about their jobs and producing your ideal wedding. The venue is beautiful, unique and has so many perks. There are pros and cons to having multiple aspects grouped under one vendor (bar, DJ, etc) - but we found great value in having Milwaukee Airwaves as our DJ and our guests LOVED the bar/drink variety and quality. It's also nice to have fewer vendors to seek out, and having vendors that work so well together. We feel so lucky to have worked with this incredible team, we wish we could relive our day all over again!

I may be biased, but this is THE BEST WEDDING VENUE EVER!! We worked with Abby through planning and on the big day and she was seriously amazing and fun to work with. The entire staff is super down to earth, very accommodating, and a pleasure to work with. The venue is everything we wanted: urban feel, lots of natural greenery so we didn't need to bring in a lot of decor, and a huge patio so we could be outside. The 360 bar on the patio was the best part so our guests could enjoy the night outside without having to wait in a huge bar line. Having the dance floor outside was also super fun and the DJ crushed it. Couldn't recommend enough.

We got married at The Ivy House on April 16, 2022. We cannot give Ivy House enough praise! Ivy House exceeded our expectations. We plan on attending all of their summer events because we are so bummed our wedding is over. I came across this venue early in my planning stages. I fell in love with it before I even saw it in person. We’re also fans of Walker’s Point neighborhood so that was another plus. We intended on a summer wedding originally, but this is a popular venue that books far out in advance. They only had a date in April & October. The April date happened to be our six year anniversary, so we took this as a sign! Abby showed us the venue originally, but did not end up being our event manager. We really liked Abby so this bummed us out, but we were more than happy with who ended up being our event manager. Sarah is AMAZING!!!! (Honestly, I don’t think there is a single person working there that isn’t.) Sarah was helpful from the minute we met her, and continued to be for every aspect of our wedding. She responded to everything in a timely manner, and with such reassurance and positivity, that it calmed me down in my most stressful moments. I need to move on with this review, otherwise I won’t stop gushing about her. Everybody who worked our event was truly terrific. The bartenders whipped up lots of our signature cocktails and were extremely diligent to anyone with a special role in the wedding (bride, groom, wedding party, parents, etc.). Special shout out to our favorite bartender, Nick! Everything about this venue is gorgeous - from the live ivy plants to the huge bridal suite we all thoroughly enjoyed. My bridesmaids and I were able to use the suite throughout the day and arrive very early to start the getting ready process. The outside patio was a great additional space for people to enjoy later at night. Our ceremony space was everything I envisioned it to be. Everyone involved in set-up and tear-down did an exceptional job. There are a lot of moving parts in a big wedding, and the Ivy House staff is exactly who you want by your side to make it all happen. We are still sad our wedding is over because it was truly the most magical day of our lives. Anyone thinking about it, get married here. THANK YOU IVY HOUSE - WE ARE OBSESSED!

The bridal suite was very nice, there was enough room for all bridesmaids to get makeup and hair done. the Ceremony was outside and was absolutely beautiful. Abby who was working with them the whole time was truly amazing she was on top of everything, if we had questions she was right there to help. She was always a step ahead us getting things ready. The bridal suite was very nice, there was enough room for all bridesmaids to get makeup and hair done. the Ceremony was outside and was absolutely beautiful. Abby who was working with them the whole time was truly amazing she was on top of everything, if we had questions she was right there to help. She was always a step ahead us getting things ready. The staff also did an amazing job and very helpful. If you are looking for a great venue this is the place to go.

He was friendly and personable, but incredibly professional and it was clear he knew the ins and outs of the venue. He made us feel like our wedding was the most important event in the world to him. Tyler then introduced us to Matt, who became not only our event coordinator but honestly became part of our family. Matt made himself accessible to us every time we needed him; he handled every curve ball we threw at him and came up with wonderful ideas when we were unsure how to handle certain things. He was prompt, energetic, coordinated, and honest.We experienced significant changes in our guest count throughout the planning process and Matt was always there to help rework things for us and make sure our day was everything we wanted it to be, despite this hurdle. Our planning meetings were fun, productive, and covered everything. From the moment he became our event coordinator to the day of, Matt continued to make us feel that this was the most important wedding he was planning. Then we came to the big day, and Matt made sure the day was absolutely perfect. Even when our coordinator was a no-show, Matt didn’t skip a beat. He made sure the tables were perfect, the bridal party and the groomsmen had everything they needed, coordinated the ceremony, speeches, music, the wedding party introductions, helped set up desserts, and ensured everyone in the room was attended to. Throughout the entire wedding planning process, we were always so grateful and felt so fortunate to be having our wedding at The Ivy House. I was also informed by my Mom that many of the guests commented that it was “one of the best weddings they had ever been to” and just they all fell in love with Matt, the bartenders, and the DJ’s that the Ivy House recommended to us. You can see from every picture that The Ivy House is a gorgeous venue, but it is truly the people in The Ivy House that are so special and throughout the entire process make you feel so incredibly lucky to be in their hands. We truly miss them to this day and will always be grateful to them for making it a day we will always remember.If you are even remotely considering the Ivy House for your wedding, schedule a tour and meeting with them. They worked extremely well with our wedding planner, made great suggestions, and customized packages so we had exactly what we wanted. The weekend of the wedding was also phenomenal. The Ivy House is a gorgeous mix of industrial modern chic. And the Fernweh patio was just enchanting as we danced the night away. I love everything about this place. This place! These people! I just got married at The Ivy House this August and from beginning to the end it was PHENOMENAL. The space is to die for, so much greenery, the chandelier, the woodwork, it is all so beautiful!Ramsey was the first person we met with and he gave a wonderful tour of the space and this was back in 2019 before they even had a parking lot or their beautiful flower wall!Nick was our DJ! He is very laid back and super helpful when it comes to the flow of the wedding and what kind of mood or vibe you are looking for. The ceremony music was spot on and he loved the idea of our star wars thing song for the recessional as well as thunderstruck by AC/DC for our grand march :)We had three amazing bartenders that night Zach, Tanner, and Mark who kept the drinks coming all night long which we very much appreciated!! These guys were troopers outside in the heat for cocktail hour as well, but they had the biggest smiles on their faces and immediately came up with drinks for my husband and I after the ceremony, can't get better than that! You guys were awesome!Last but certainly not least our coordinator Matt. I love this guy, needless to say he is THE BEST!! His spunky attitude and fast talking self made planning and coordinating everything so incredibly easy. Just ask him, we were such a handful Basically he is exactly the man you want orchestrating your big day. Let me start of this review by simply saying that if you are a couple who's been recently engaged and are in need of a venue to host your wedding day, there is only spot you need to look at: The Ivy House. Period. There’s a reason their team has won “Best Of” on numerous occasions and I consider my now wife and I incredibly blessed and remarkably fortunate to witness that firsthand last weekend for our wedding day. Truthfully, every couple has their own goals, own expectations, own vision, when it comes to what they want their day to look like and to say that The Ivy House team brought that to life for us (…and more) is a profound understatement on so many levels.After originally setting our date in October 2018, we – like countless others couples – made the decision to postpone a full 365 days to Sunday, July 4th, 2021 when we realized that COVID was going to make it impossible to get all the people we cared about in a room together… to say the wait was *well* worth it doesn’t even begin to do it justice. In our opinion, what makes The Ivy House special isn’t just the aesthetic of the ball room or the spaciousness of the Fernweh patio or the incredible bridal suite upstairs, it’s the people. Having planned much of our wedding from out-of-state, there is NO one else we trusted more than Ramsey, Zach, & Co. and they *MORE* than delivered. There are not enough words to do justice to how special their team is, how thoughtful and detail-oriented they are in every aspect of planning, and candidly, how immensely hard working they are at perfecting their craft and delivering a once-in-a-lifetime experience for couples like us. We were blessed to have guests from 22 states join us last weekend and the continuous feedback we received was, “wow”.Was our original engagement (pre-COVID) a little longer than most (~ 20 months)? Yes. Was postponing a bit of a shock to the system when the world shut down? Without question. However, through it all, it was Ramsey and his team that guided us every step of the way to “I do” and the celebration that followed. While we all could go without a once-in-a-lifetime health crisis that I’m sure everyone reading this has likely made sacrifices during, if we could do it again, there’s not a single thing we would change because we were in the best hands with the best people the 985 days from start to finish. The music. The coordination with vendors. The intentionality with set-up. The little things that we probably don’t even know about that they took care of. You name it, it exceeded our expectations.Growing up there, Milwaukee is a beautiful city – especially in the summertime – and there are a lot of different venues that have a ton to offer depending on what suits your needs. However, there is not one venue that comes anywhere close to what The Ivy House provides: a remarkable backdrop for your day and an even better team to do it around. Ivy House is probably the best venue in Wisconsin. Not only is the outside patio so pretty with all of the greenery, plants, and ivy, but the 360 bar, fireplace, and other decor give it a cozy vibe as well. The inside is STUNNING. The natural ivy is growing so much (even in the year planning process it was growing a bunch!) and the overall design is just beautiful. We toured Ivy House back in Feb of 2020, which even then things were booked up because they are so popular. COVID hit, so we halted our planning for a bit. Sarah and the team have been nothing short of LITERALLY AMAZING for me and Ty this entire year and a half process. She was great at keeping communication and answering our questions through that point as well. She helped keep us updated as dates opened up (from COVID backup dates).She made our special day run SO smoothly, and handled the changes that happened last minute so well. We had to completely nix plan A and go to our rain plan last minute (thanks weather), and the team already had the inside set up just in case we needed it. It was a seamless transition and she helped me stay calm and make a pretty tough last minute decision, easy. All of our guests, family and bridal party had only the best and amazing things to say about her and the entire Ivy house staff. Thank you doesn’t even do it justice for what y’all did for us. I know the day was perfect and we all had the best time, thanks to you. You all have been the absolute best venue team to work with. From the moment we toured, to the end of our night, Sarah killed it. Her personality and communication was one of the reasons we were so attracted to Ivy house, let alone it’s sheer beauty of a venue. Our guests could not believe how stunning it was. While planning during the pandemic had its ups and downs, throughout it all the Ivy House team was reassuring, thoughtful, and responsive. Sarah had fabulous recommendations and helped with so many of the details- really going above and beyond. The venue itself is beautiful and was the perfect space for a happy, airy wedding vibe. We would recommend Ivy House over and over again, and already can’t wait to attend future weddings in the space.

I cannot even begin to put into words how beautiful and wonderful our wedding was at the Ivy House. We had to postpone last year because of COVID and the team was so respectful of our decision and so accommodating for our change of plans. From getting ready in the bridal suite first thing in the morning to our ceremony and capping the night off with the best reception ever, every detail was perfect and stunning. Matt, Nick and the Ivy House team were beyond incredible. Our bridal party and guests even commented on the phenomenal service, which I think speaks volumes. I am a worrier and Type A personality by nature, but they made sure my entire day was relaxed and worry-free. It was literally the best day ever, and I know we will be getting compliments from our guests for years to come. I can only hope that my friends get married at the Ivy House in the future so I can enjoy another wedding there. I am beyond thankful that we chose to work with their team and I will remember the day forever.

We lucked out with a 50 degree day in February in Wisconsin so the team started the fire on the patio and kept it going all night. Guests and the wedding party were out there half the time! The bridal suite and groom's room are great touches to this space. The bridal suite is fairly big with a fully equipped kitchen and full bathroom. This space is great for any pictures with the bridal party and/or just the bride and groom. The best part is that it is a great little space to go when you just need that minute to take it all in with your significant other. Sarah and team went above and beyond and were very communicative all night (with a consumption bar tab, checking in on us, etc.). We will for sure be heading back to the Ivy house to enjoy their patio this summer but this venue is beyond accommodating even though they may be a little on the expensive side for venue pricing compared to others OUTSIDE of Milwaukee. BUT I ASSURE YOU it is all worth it to get this team on your side for your big day.

I can not say enough amazing things about The Ivy House. Our wedding was August 14, 2020 and three weeks before we decided we needed to downsize due to Covid19. We worked with Abby, who was SO AWESOME. She calmly took our request and helped us create the best day ever, she made our tiny 38 person wedding feel so fancy and so full of life. Abby was such a positive calming presence throughout he whole last month of planning. We love her so much! Everyone who works there is so welcoming and makes you feel like family. We booked The Ivy House in January of 2019 and whenever we would have guests in town we would drive them by and peek in the windows and someone would always come out of the office and let us in so we could walk around and show our family members how awesome the space was. They were so great at communicating throughout the entire planning process. Whenever we visit the patio for Happy Hour drinks everyone is so welcoming!The space is so beautiful, the patio is our favorite part. You need minimal decorations throughout the whole place because its so beautiful on its own. Everything about this place is amazing. The bathrooms are huge which is awesome if you have a lot of guests. This seems weird to say but I have been to weddings with long bathroom lines and its annoying because you miss out on the dance floor. Also, parking was a big concern for my parents (when we initially thought we were going to have 250 people) and now there is a whole parking lot attached to the venue and tons of street parking! We hired Milwaukee Airwaves for our DJ which was also amazing, Since they own the space they know how to navigate it so smoothly throughout the night. We had our ceremony and cocktail hour outside, went inside for dinner, and then came back out for dancing. Music was playing the whole time and there was no glitch or pause in the transition from each space! My husband and I felt so relaxed on our wedding day because everyone made us feel totally confident that everything would run smoothly and it did!! Everyone was so helpful and supportive throughout the whole process and made sure that we were enjoying ourselves the whole time. From making sure we took in every ounce or the beauty of our venue on our wedding day to keeping our drinks full. They had everything covered. We simply showed up and were basically guests at our own wedding. We had the best time and we CANNOT thank Abby and The Ivy House enough for the amazing day we had! I will hype this place up forever because it is the absolute best!!!

Ivy House was the last venue we saw, and the minute that we walked in, my husband and I knew it was the ONE. There’s something special in the air there. With the exposed brick, abundance of plants, beautiful wood, and massive bar, it’s truly a gorgeous atmosphere. We felt like we had walked into a dream. Add in that neon sign, and the insanely beautiful bridal suite, and we knew that we had to get married there. Every step of the way from our first tour with Tyler up to our wedding day, we felt 100% listened to and taken care of with every detail. On our tour with Tyler, we had 1 million questions, and he had 1 million answers. Whatever requests we made were met with either a “We’ll make it happen or find a way to make sure you’re satisfied.” We were unable to hire a florist or event staff for a room flip and worried it would stop us from having our ceremony at Ivy House, but Tyler had about ten different solutions for us. Sarah was our main contact, and she was incredible with helping us plan and finalize every detail. She went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and well taken care of. I am extremely Type A and thought I was organized--but I have NOTHING on Sarah Raver. Every detail I was concerned about, Sarah breezed through and problem solved. When the day came, I had literally zero nerves. Sarah checked in frequently, organized vendors, and made me feel like I could relax in the insanely beautiful bridal suite. I truly didn’t have to think about a thing. Sarah had the checklists, the timelines, the vendor contact information. I just had to sit back, drink champagne, and say I Do. Gene was our DJ and again, I cannot say enough about him. Obviously, his playlist was amazing, but Gene was so much more than a DJ. He was there every minute with a drink refill for us, checking in to see if we needed anything, making sure we were happy with every detail, and keeping the night running right on schedule. Before the wedding, we sat down with Gene and talked about our must plays, our absolutely do not plays, any potential problems we saw coming up, exactly what we wanted the ceremony to look like, and what he could do to make our day perfect. Gene helped me pull off a surprise performance for my husband without a hitch, and everyone raved about how seamlessly he kept the night going. Again, we just got to sit back, sip the drinks that Gene handed us, and have a great time.Mo was one of our bartenders, and he and the ENTIRE bartending staff absolutely KILLED IT. We received so many comments from our guests about how well organized, friendly, and fun all of the Ivy House staff were.We spent a year of our lives planning our wedding with the staff at Ivy House, and by the time it was all over, we felt like we were part of a really small and really special family. Everyone was so excited for our wedding day, and knew so much about the day and about the two of us. Getting married is such a personal experience, and with Ivy House, the personal touches and concern never stop. Whenever we walked in for a planning meeting, we were greeted with hugs and glasses of wine and genuine excitement and interest in our planning process.Thinking about our wedding planning process, I don’t think about the stress of planning, I think about the JOY in knowing how many people were ready to make my dreams come true and cheering me on the whole time.

The Ivy House was the perfect venue for our wedding. 10/10 would get married there again! :) Abby, Gene, the bartenders and the whole Ivy House team were incredibly easy to work with. They were so patient, organized, thoughtful and detail oriented throughout the process. Truly pros at what they do. Overall: We used the space for both our wedding ceremony and the reception and the space was a beautiful blank canvas that we were able to make our own. Our whole wedding party got ready together in the space above the venue. The space was great for this and made for the perfect way to spend time with one another before the ceremony and reception. We actually forgot to order coffee for the morning of and without a question Abby brought some for us. Photos: It snowed the day before the wedding and it honestly made the space even more beautiful than it already is. We found lots of great nooks and spaces to take photos. We took some photos before the ceremony, some after and they all turned out great. The space itself has really nice natural light. Music: Dancing was a blast. Gene was awesome to work with and we had so much fun dancing the night away with our friends and family. He took time to meet with us before the wedding and put our minds at ease about all the questions we had. Food: We loved that we could choose whatever caterers we wanted to work with. The Ivy House has an amazing kitchen that made it easy for both our food and dessert partners to prepare things throughout the day. Flowers: The space is so lush with greenery that incorporating flowers and decor was a breeze. We loved all the industrial textures in the space that made our colorful flowers and decor really stand out. Our favorite things about The Ivy House: The people (Abby + Gene + Bartenders = <3 U Forever), The reclaimed bleacher wood used throughout the space, The colorful lighting system, and that wall size mirror in the women’s restroom is *kisses fingertips!*

She calmed my nerves and put me at ease and just did all the special touches which make help make your day truly the best day of your life. Alexander was the bomb-DJ and kept us dancing allll night. The cohesion of the entire group was seamless - even better than family. True professionals. Would recommend Ivy House 1,000 times over!

Simply incredible. The #1 thing that differentiates the Ivy House from every other vendor we have is the staff - every single person is just wonderful to work with. They are incredibly responsive, accommodating, professional, adaptable, and efficient. The level of service is incredible. Throughout the night they came up to me and my husband making sure we were enjoying ourselves and if they could get us anything - Matt came up to me at least 3 times asking me if he could bring me a drink and I'm pretty sure I told him I loved him more times than I told my actual husband! Alexander brought us dessert and told us he never got to try the dessert at his own wedding because it was gone before he could get to it and he didn't want it to happen to us. The most amazing service though was when we had an unfortunate situation of an elderly guest passing out, and not only did they call an ambulance, but when my husband's grandfather accompanied the guest to the hospital, they gave him their phone number to call when he was ready to come back to the wedding, and when he called they went to the hospital and picked him up personally. If that's not the most incredible thing ever, I don't know what is. If you are lucky enough to snatch up a date for your wedding, you will not regret it. It is such a beautiful space, and we are so excited to go back for their public events in the future!

We were lucky enough to use Ivy House for our wedding and all we can say is WOW. We initially fell in love with the modern industrial meets lush greenery that Ivy House has so effortlessly executed.  Then we got to work with the amazing staff!  Sarah was amazing to work with start to finish and filled in details we didn't know we needed. ROCKSTAR! Aaron from Milwaukee Airwaves had all the right music start to finish without having to hand-pick each song. Just an awesome professional to work with.  The bartenders rocked and even somehow special ordered Old Milwaukee Reds for my Dad!! Could not recommend Ivy House more.

My husband and I were so incredibly happy with our decision to host our wedding here, we cannot recommend The Ivy House enough!! The venue literally has everything & more. First the space itself is amazing - it allows for so much customization & creativity, but is also simply beautiful by itself with gorgeous brick, wooden beans and (of course) beautiful ivy. The indoor/outdoor feature of this venue is so unique, our guests loved it! We were able to have a beautiful ceremony right outside in the patio space followed by an outdoor cocktail hour. We even utilized the outside space again for late night dancing!! This really made the flow of our day so seamless. Last but not least the staff is truly phenomenal. From the bartenders, built in DJ service (Milwaukee Airwaves - shout out to Matt who was stellar!!) and Tyler/Ramsey who make it all happen this team is unreal. Tyler and Matt were essentially my 7th and 8th bridesmaids making sure that the event executed perfectly and that I had an amazing experience the entire time. The service that The Ivy House provided was ABOVE AND BEYOND and I felt lucky to have gotten to work with them. If you are even slightly interested in this space CALL ASAP.

We are so happy writing this review as the Ivy House was OUTSTANDING on our wedding day! What sold us from the start was not only the beautiful venue but also their customer service and we are happy to say that on the day of our wedding their service exceeded our expectations! We had the pleasure of working with Tyler who was so accommodating and responsive to all of our questions and requests (even down to making sure all us ladies had coffee in the early morning hours lol). Our DJ was Alex, and he had everyone dancing! Once the music started I personally didn’t leave the dance floor! In addition to those two, all of our guests were raving about the friendly bartenders and staff members who truly made their experience a good time! The only difficult thing about writing a review for the Ivy House is finding the words to do it justice. As we looked for venues we obviously loved the look and feel of the venue. I haven’t met anyone who wasn’t blown away by the space - that part speaks for itself, but none the less I’ll say that pictures from our friends alone were stunning and we cannot wait to see how our photographer’s pictures turned out from that gorgeous patio. What is not obvious from their pictures is how absolutely incredible the whole staff is. In our venue search we had so much fun talking to Tyler as we brainstormed our big day that we felt we had to book Ivy House. The service you receive at a venue can make or break your experience and everyone at the Ivy House made our day and the whole process leading up to it the best experience of our lives. In the months leading up to our wedding, Tyler and Ramsey both were very responsive and accommodating to our questions. Ramsey was there to walk our other vendors through the space when they wanted to understand the layout, and Tyler always got back to our emails and texts. Tyler has a laid back persona that is a calming presence and yet he’s also very serious and genuine. Every conversation felt like we were talking to an old friend. We could tell he really understood our personalities. It was obvious in every conversation we had with him that he remembered not only who we were but small details about our lives that we had shared with him. That personal connection does not come natural to everyone in the service industry and Tyler’s care and concern for our happiness was very special to us. We are only sad that now we don’t have a reason to hang out with Tyler. When we met with our DJ Gene, we instantly felt a similar connection to him. He was super funny, was willing to show us past set lists, and had many ideas of different directions a reception set list could go. We sent him individual songs for each couple in our grand march, which he accommodated, he played every song we requested, and introduced us to new jams that were right in our wheel house. He did an AMAZING job! He was super kind, attentive, and knows how to read a crowd. By the end of the night my knees and feet were killing me from dancing so hard but I couldn’t get myself to take a break because he kept the jams going! I’m writing this review two days after our wedding and I still have absolutely zero voice from singing so loudly all night. We knew going into our wedding that a DJ is probably the most critical part in determining the success of a reception and Gene knocked it out of the park. We wanted to invite him to our recovery party the next day but figured it’d be creepy. But we love you Gene!The bar staff were all wonderful as well. We had only met Matt once before our wedding and on the day of we felt we had a history with him as well. Everyone there just made our night so special. If we could throw a party there every weekend we would... but it’d probably kill me. We cannot give a higher recommendation of the Ivy House and Milwaukee Airwaves as a whole. During our wedding process we were able to attend an event at their space called the Filament as well and it was just as beautiful! Knowing how excellent their staff is I am sure all of their venues are worth every penny!

BEST VENUE EVER! I cannot express how much we love The Ivy House. Ramsey and Tyler are the PERFECT team to host your event. We got married at The Ivy House on 6/22/19 and it was the most incredible day. We were one of the first couples to sign a contract with them back in early 2018 when they had just begun construction, and I am so thankful we trusted their vision. Right from the beginning, we knew we wanted this team to be a part of our wedding day. I have nothing but positive things to say about this venue. It is beautiful, versatile, intimate, and SO much fun. Ramsey was in charge of our wedding day and he treated us like close, personal friends. My husband, family, and I felt well cared for - every single detail was covered. He was at the ready with coffee, champagne, or a hug. The bridal suite is the perfect place to get ready for the big day. Our ceremony was inside, cocktail hour was outside in Ferhweh, dinner was inside, and then dancing was outside again. The crew was fun, flexible, and SO accommodating. I wish my wedding wasn't over so I could keep hanging with these guys! Matt, our DJ from Milwaukee Airwaves, was also the perfect addition to the team.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Ivy House in May and it was flawless. Tyler and Ramsey have been in the wedding industry for years...they knew what was missing from wedding venues in Milwaukee and they totally delivered it with The Ivy House. The patio is incredible. A huge bar inside and outside. Big, nice bathrooms. The bridal suite was available as early as we needed it and it was big enough for our bridal party and immediate family to hang out in before the ceremony. Our guests are still talking about how cool our venue was and obviously we agree! We had 180 people seated with a dancefloor in the middle and we fit perfectly in the inside space. Abby, the day-of coordinator, Matt and the bar staff, and DJ Dave (Milwaukee Airwaves) all did an incredible job. They were very flexible during the planning process and on the day-of. We decided that morning to move the wedding ceremony inside because of the cold, but have the cocktail hour outside with the firepits and heaters on. Abby just said yep! let's do it. Looking back on the wedding planning process, I did worry about how new the venue was and I assumed there would be some kinks that they were still working through, but I really did not need to worry at all. They totally came through for us! 10/10 would recommend.

We had our wedding at the Ivy House this past memorial weekend and it was absolutely perfect. We could not have picked a better venue. The space is absolutely beautiful when you are in attendance and stunning in photographs. Aside from aesthetics this is the best crew a bride and groom could ask for. From the first meeting with Tyler to the day of everything went exactly the way we wanted to. Nothing was ever a problem or out of the question. They were great to consult with, they listened, they had great ideas and they made our dream wedding come true. Also they hooked us up with the best DJ we could have asked for (Aaron Cleavland @ Milwaukee Airwaves - seriously he played every thing we wanted, plus hits and did all the right edits and managed the reception perfectly. Plus we really loved having coffee with him and getting to know him before the wedding). It's difficult to summarize all of the great things about Tyler and the Ivy House without going on for 3 pages but as someone that is just wrapping up the wedding planning portion of my life I'll say this - there are a lot of unknowns, a lot of questions, a lot of pressure coming from every direction. Weddings are like the biggest party you've ever thrown and sometimes with the stress it's easy to forget that. Tyler never let us forget that. When I think of our perfect day we owe so much of it to The Ivy House. If you are getting married in Milwaukee or Wisconsin this place is definitely an absolute must to tour and meet the people behind the operation. 10/10 - would get married here again.

If you want to have your wedding at the best venue in Milwaukee, choose The Ivy House. Ramsey and Tyler were so fun to work with and every detail of the venue is amazing. From the bartenders making sure we had drinks in our hands to set up being exactly like we discussed to the world's biggest bridal suite, Ivy House is awesome. They were so responsive, flexible (when we moved cocktail hour inside halfway through - thanks, Mother Nature), and super laid back in a very organized, professional manner. I'm sad that we don't get to hang out with them now that the wedding is over!
