Jackson Lake Lodge Reviews
Larkin Wurster(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 09-07-2022 The lodge is beautiful and there is a stunning view but the staff was uninformed and some amenities had a bit to be desired. Before the day, the service manager was very helpful with emails, calls, and forms and they were VERY understanding with some unfortunate COVID restrictions that caused a delay. Given how amazing the lodge was up to the day of, I thought things would run like a well oiled machine. The manager said she was willing to have wheeled transport arranged for some heavy personal effects (arch and game boards) to the ceremony site but once the time came, none of the staff even knew where the ceremony site was (????) and just left my elderly father on the side of the road to lug the heavy objects to the site in 90F heat. It says handicap accessible but they are playing fast and loose with that term as the wheelchair had to brought through the bar and many people had to move their chairs to let it through. When the photographer arrived and asked three different staff members for the Wyoming Room (Bride dressing room), none of them knew what he was talking about. Luckily the groom noticed a bewildered man with cameral equipment and pointed him in the right direction. The dressing room was spacious but didn’t have an adequate vanity/mirror and very poor lighting so trying to get make-up done was difficult…good thing I brought my own mirror but that didn’t help the low lighting situation. Dinner was late despite the tight timeline (made BY the lodge) so some guests had to leave before dessert to avoid nighttime driving (can be treacherous in the park).Despite the issues it was still a beautiful venue and the food was good…it just seemed like this was the first wedding they had every hosted. Maybe the staff is new or they are out of practice with COVID…IDK…but leaving and elderly man to lug heavy items in that heat (not even a luggage cart??) breaks my heart. Reviewed on 19-07-2022

We also stayed at the lodge, had cocktail hour there, and had the reception in the Mural Room. Emily was so much help and was wonderful! The lodge made us feel so welcomed! My Husband and I got married at Schwabacher Landing on 7/3/18 and we had the reception at Jackson Lake Lodge. We also stayed at the lodge with all of our guests. Everything was perfect. Emily was incredible. She helped my dad plan everything and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Emily was so easy to work with - the planning process was completely painless. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We had the perfect wedding day. If you are looking for the perfect destination wedding , with spectacular views and a great venue- I would highly recommend Jackson Lake Lodge in the Tetons. Reviewed on 20-07-2018
Anonymous (bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 16-03-2017 This is a beautiful place, however be aware of the wedding planner Emily. She was ZERO help on my wedding day. She literally was showing other couples the property about 20 minutes before my wedding started. I had to have my entire family help get things organized because she couldn't get it together. Also, she billed my family for the entire wedding again 8 months after the wedding. She claimed we didn't pay even though we had all of the receipts. This company was a disaster to work with and I do not recommend this venue to anyone who wants a seamless wedding. Reviewed on 16-01-2016
Sydney McCully(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 25-06-2015 My husband and I were married at Jackson Lake Lodge in June 2015 and it was the most perfect day! We had an amazing time- the best week of our life. Emily was our coordinator and she was always friendly, helpful, punctual, and went above and beyond to make sure that things ran smoothly and looked just the way we asked. The venue itself is one of the most gorgeous views in the Teton National Park, and as we had a small wedding (35 people) the price was a great value. Dinner was delicious and staff extremely polite. I would recommend this venue to anyone hoping for a beautiful wedding that is unforgettable for yourself, family, and guests. We are already looking forward to revisiting for future anniversaries!\rAside from being our wedding venue, Jackson Lake Lodge also offered several tourist attractions that we loved: horseback riding, scenic boat float and picnic, star gazing. They were amazing and kept our week eventful and memorable. Reviewed on 12-07-2015
Mandy Ott(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 08-08-2014 Having a destination wedding already comes with a certain degree of stress, but JLL made it so easy. Emily was fantastic during the planning process!! She knows the area and wedding scene well and was very helpful when looking for other vendors and listening to all my ideas. Their \"all-inclusive\" method is the right way to go when having a wedding. They don't have any weird charges/fees - it was all very transparent and everything is taken care of.\r\rThe day was amazing. The view is unbeatable, even if you end up inside due to weather (another perk to the all inclusive! An indoor backup with floor to ceiling windows). Our guests LOVED the private patio that comes with the Explorers Ballroom and the set up was really efficient. Staff was friendly and always around to clean up spills. Make sure you're specific with Emily about what kinds of alcohol you want served (kinds of beer, types of wine, liquor - that kind of stuff). The food was incredible!! We did a steak and salmon combo and people are still telling us that it was the best meal they ever had at a wedding. We found the price to be very reasonable.\r\rI only have one critique from the day of: we hired an Alltrans bus (through JLL) which was great, but apparently when the bus arrived at the Lodge, the guests didn't know where to go. Make sure to have signs up or that someone coming on the bus can lead people to the ceremony.\r\rAll told, I would HIGHLY recommend JLL for your wedding! Reviewed on 11-10-2014

Christina DaLuz(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 29-07-2012 We couldn't be more pleased with the service we got at Jackson Lake Lodge. Emily (event coordinator) and Taylor (banquet manager) were the BEST!! They both worked closely with us before and during the event. They were professional but at the end also felt like they were part of our day! I would definitely recommend JLL to a friend!! Reviewed on 13-08-2012
Kara Fisher(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 16-07-2010 Our ceremony took place outdoors on the terrace of Jackson Lake Lodge. The set-up was perfect and the scenery could not have been more beautiful. \r\rOur reception was held indoors in the Explorers Ballroom. The set-up was once again ideal and the service staff was very attentive and professional. Reviewed on 09-08-2010
