This company (and the venue) is owned by Sandy Hanson and her daughter Ashley Meadows, with their team being filled out by her daughter inlaw, son and son in law as well as several friends. Sandy was inspired to purchase and open this venue after assisting her daughters in planning their own weddings. She realized the magnitude of the work involved, and the relief that experienced professionals can provide. Alongside the event space, Sandy also assists couples in wedding coordination and design. She and her staff have over 15 years of combined experience. With its innate homey atmosphere, Jamison’s Event Center lends itself to customization. Banisters can be wound with floral garlands to accentuate a romantic aesthetic, or pumpkins and gourds can adorn various surfaces for seasonal celebrations. Couples and their guests are put at ease, relaxing in comfortable seats and surroundings while they catch up over a celebratory drink. Twinkling fairy lights can twist around centerpieces and arches, creating an air of intimacy at both the ceremony and reception. Sandy, along with her experienced planners, strive to think of every detail that can make your wedding uniquely yours. They work with couples to create a cohesive color scheme and design theme, using their range of decor items to enhance the day. Sandy and her team then manage setting up and displaying the chosen pieces. On the day itself, couples can depend on day-of coordinators to take care of any last-minute necessities. The backyard provides a picturesque setting for an outdoor ceremony. Several staff members are on hand to assist with the catering, artfully displaying the food as well as clearing away the leftovers. When the food has been tidied away, a professional DJ gets the party underway, cementing the night as one to remember.
