Historical Charm in Xenia, OH

Built in 1881, The John Allen House Bed & Breakfast is a gorgeous historic wedding venue in Xenia, OH. It is a place of peace and calm, somewhere to listen to the sound of the songbirds amid the rustling leaves. The John Allen House retains much of its original condition and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Sherry and Wesley purchased the house in February 2020 when looking for a grand family home. They weren't necessarily looking for a historic home or bed and breakfast, but they could not forget John Allen House once they saw it. The house offers three full suites with private bathrooms accommodating 8-12 guests. The "Majestic Suite" features a king-size four-poster bed with a plush-top mattress. You will find a queen-size bed and a private screened-in porch overlooking the promenade in your second room. The en-suite bath includes a large whirlpool tub with room for two, while the rooms are ordained with original fireplace mantles, crystal chandeliers, and brass fixtures. The "Vogue Suite" is another prevalent choice for newlyweds, featuring 12-foot high ceilings, etched glass, and 600-year-old Italian hardwood. The queen-size bed, sitting area, and full-size modernized bath will leave you and your partner feeling pampered. Sherry and Wesley spent six months exploring the Xenia and Miami Valley areas to prepare for their new adventure. They have found their neighbors at the John Allen House to be incredibly friendly, as is the community as a whole. They are excited to welcome you and your partner for a magical weekend.
