JuneBug is a an outdoor wedding venue that is open May through October located 12 minutes north of downtown Asheville that has been designed to be completely different than any other venue in the world! There are two very different ceremony locations on this beautiful 50 acre property with prices ranging from $7,700-$13,500. Larger weddings are held in Walnut Cove alongside flat creek. This event space includes facilities for up to 150 guests. After the ceremony and reception, guests can spend the night in 1950's/60's restored campers, stroll through a field of beautiful flowers after grabbing a drink from the 1960 Airstream clam shell bar. Smaller weddings (up to 20 guests) take place high up in the treetops at the JuneBug treehouse. Where else can you have your micro wedding high up in the treetops? Only at JuneBug! Your wedding is fully customizable to fit your style and your budget. You may choose your own vendors or use one of the many we have on our trusted vendor list. Best Venue This Side of the Moon!My now husband and I toured JuneBug for our potential wedding venue, and instantly fell in love! The grounds are breathtaking, and so well loved. They have an amazing collection of campers that housed all of our friends for the evening, and there was so much outdoor space for everyone to explore the wonders of the festival-like space. All of our guests were blown away by the beauty of the venue, and the details in every little thing. I got to cross a bridge over the creek to walk down the aisle, and we said I Do with the sound of the water behind us - it was truly magical. Charlene was the best wedding day ring master I could've ever asked for, and cared for us the whole way through! Anything we needed, she made it happen, and she made sure we didn't miss a beat. I can't recommend this venue enough! The best part is, now that they are open to the public in the summer, we get to go back and reminisce on our special day :) We've already had friends saying they'd love to get married there too - of course, we said Do It!!!! We cannot recommend Junebug enough! We got married on October 21, 2023 in the treehouse and it was absolutely perfect. The property is gorgeous and Charlene is so so on top of it. I barely had to think through any logistics and the vendors they work with are incredible. Our flowers and food were amazing. Kelly, the coordinator for the actual wedding day, is OUTSTANDING. She was so on top of everything and moved us through each part of the event with ease. She was also just super nice to have around and made sure we didn't have to worry about anything. I think it's rare you get to enjoy your wedding and be present in the way we were able to and we have the team at Junebug to thank for that. If you're thinking about getting married there, DO IT.

Our wedding at JuneBug was even more amazing than we could have imagined! The property is absolutely beautiful and the staff are wonderful. Charlene was very responsive and patient with us, responding to every question and helped us feel relaxed and at ease before, during and after the wedding. We loved having our wedding at Junebug! The venue is stunning and getting to camp with our closest friends in the airstreams was a perfect way to end the day. Charlene and Tom are wonderful to work with and having them there to help plan with our vendors and for day of coordinating made the whole wedding seamless and stress-free. We cannot say enough about how wonderful our micro-wedding at the Treehouse at JuneBug was! It was truly a dream. The venue is SO beautiful and every detail (especially the flowers!) was perfect. We and our guests loved staying in the campers, and everyone had a blast! Charlene, Kelly, and the rest of the team helped our day run smoothly and effortlessly. The whole process with planning and coordination with Charlene was wonderful- she's kind, understanding, and accessible. Kelly's day of coordination removed all stress and helped us to enjoy the day. We're looking forward to come back and stay in the campers for anniversaries to come!

Our experience at JuneBug was absolutely perfect! My husband and I were looking for a wedding venue that could help us create the small and intimate celebration of our dreams. The Treehouse at JuneBug is picturesque. Charlene, Kelly, and the rest of the staff are absolutely amazing. And best of all, they cover almost every detail for your special day so you have less to think about! The food, cake, flowers, and decor are all handled by the venue. Everything is beautiful and delicious and it’s perfect for the couple that wants a stress-free special day! Our families and friends were also able to stay on property before and after the wedding in the amazing retro RV’s. From beginning to end, our wedding was stress-free, beautiful, intimate, and completely unique. JuneBug is a very special place!

Charlene and her beautiful campgrounds were everything we wanted. We rented all 10 campers for the night before and the night of the wedding and they were perfect. Our guests had an absolute blast and we will definitely be back for our anniversary. Charlene was so easy to work with. She was organized and anticipated problems and presented immediate solutions. Our day was magical, family friendly, and stress free. Can’t recommend JuneBug enough!

I could not have dreamed up a better venue for our wedding than the treehouse at JuneBug! From the beginning, Charlene was so helpful and open to making our day special for us. She offered recommendations for photographers, hair/makeup artists and musicians which was extremely helpful while planning a destination wedding. When I tell you that everything went perfectly on our day, I mean EVERYTHING. I felt so relaxed and confident that everything would be handled and it was. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous and the food from Luella's Bar-B-Que was delicious. Even though we weren't able to meet Kelly, our day-of coordinator, until the actual wedding day, she immediately felt like a friend and took care of all the logistics like a pro. I could go on and on but if you're looking into having an intimate outdoor wedding in the Asheville area, you should definitely be considering JuneBug!

It is hard to put into words just how spectacular our wedding at Junebug was. From start to finish everything was absolutely perfect. We stumbled across this venue when we visited Weaverville the previous year and are so glad we pursued our wedding there. The property is unlike any other and having a wedding there is such a fun and unique experience for all. Charlene and Tom are a dream duo to work with and added so much ease and fun to the planning/execution of our wedding. We cannot speak highly enough of them and the venue. Tom and Charlene have taken a beautiful piece of land in the mountains of North Carolina and crafted an environment that combines rustic immersion in nature with modern amenities. Charlene was extremely organized and responsive. She provided vendors who were equally as phenomenal and she helped our day run smoothly, despite the threats of rain. We absolutely loved using JuneBug for our treehouse wedding in May 2023! It was the perfect size to accommodate a small, intimate wedding, and all of our guests were blown away by the treehouse itself. Charlene and her team ensured every detail was taken care of and our day went amazingly smooth despite some jitters from my husband and I. I loved that we were given a few choices for each category (food, flowers, cake) which made the whole planning process super stress-free yet still allowed us to put our unique touches on the whole experience.Kelly, our wedding coordinator, was such a treat and I can't say enough good things about her! She also helped ease any anxiety I had on our big day and was so much fun — she felt like a member of the family! The venue itself was gorgeous and had everything we dreamed of! It was an intimate setting yet had everything we needed. Our family loved staying in the campers on the property as well. I would recommend the Treehouse to anyone and everyone and I hope to visit JuneBug again very soon to relive the magic!

After some extensive internet research, June Bug ended up being the only venue we toured and we could not have made a better choice. It had everything we needed and even 1 thing we didn’t know we needed… Charlene. Her organization and attention to detail made our wedding effortless. Charlene and her team attended to everything and truly made the day flow without any issues. On top of the beyond amazing service that June Bug provided, the fun vibe and funky experience our guests received was so refreshing. It really didn’t feel like your standard wedding venue, and we loved that! Choosing a June Bug as our venue was the reason our wedding planning and setup was so effortless. It was an experience loved by all and definitely made a lasting memory for our friends and family. We’d highly recommend June Bug and Charlene!!

JuneBug is a 50acre property so stunning, you might feel inclined to pinch yourself to be sure you aren’t dreaming.We had our wedding at JuneBug in October, 2022, and the venue was just as stunning in Autumn as it is in Spring, & Summers when flower field is in full bloom. The hammocks that are hung over the creek beckon you to recline and cast your worries downstream. With owners as delightful as Tom & Charlene, you will feel right at home at JuneBug. This is THE place to unwind & make memories with your loved ones.When you book a stay in one of the mid-century RV’s, you’ll experience an eclectic, cozy vibe. Kids can enjoy the retro playground, while others might wish to utilize the hiking trails that lead to the treehouse!There truly is something for everyone, at JuneBug, and the staff you’ll encounter will treat you like family. I will add photos from our wedding at a later date, when we get them back from our photographer!

It was perfect and I highly recommend the Treehouse to anybody looking to have a smaller wedding in the Asheville area.Charlene made the whole process easy and Kelly, Lauren, and Beth took care of everything on the day of the wedding. From the minute we toured, we knew that this venue would be perfect for our intimate fall wedding and the features of the Treehouse package took a lot of stress out of our planning process. Charlene was so friendly and reachable for anything we needed, and our day of coordinator Kelly was so upbeat, organized, and detail-oriented. Our guests could not say enough kind things about the beauty of the venue, how good the food was, and how kind the staff was all night. We had our wedding in the Treehouse at Junebug and Kelly was our day of coordinator. when you are a kid you dream of the most amazing wedding and at Junebug it becomes reality down to every last detail. Staff was excellent, so friendly, catered to our every need and made sure we had zero stress on our big day. I LOVE Kelly, she made it so personal and it felt as if she had known me forever. The venue itself made me feel as if I was apart of a fairytale, so beautiful and absolutely breath taking. The flowers were so Gorgeous. Charlene was fabulous to work with! she listened to my wants, smoothly guided us through the process before our our wedding, answered all the questions I had and made sure we had everything we needed. If I could give Junebug a 1,000 stars I would for how perfect everything was and how truly great of an experience! I could not imagine getting married anywhere else!

It's hard to put into words how perfect Junebug was for our wedding. Our day started early on a gloomy Saturday morning, causing a bit of weather-worry for my now-wife and I. Our friends checked into the campers, and the weather blew over just as Charlene said it would. The guys were able to play whiffle ball and hang out while the girls got ready in the spacious Camper 10.The Campers: Our friends raved about how unique, fun, and comfortable they were. Our wedding party spent the night and enjoyed a campfire lit by the Junebug team.The Ceremony: The babbling brook backdrop was picturesque, and the many beautiful landscapes provided our photographer with a plethora of options.The Reception: The wedding tent, camper-bar, and Charlene's hand-curated team of vendor options worked as a well-oiled machine. Every recommendation turned out to be the best decision we could have made. Such a cool atmosphere. While I mingled as the groom in our crowd of 90, I often overheard \"This place is so sick\". It's definitely 'so sick'.Charlene as a wedding coordinator: Simply the best in the business. All vendors raved about Charlene and JuneBug. All guests raved about Charlene. Not to be forgotten, Tom also helped make our day great. He's the man.If you're reading this just go ahead and book a stay or event at Junebug. Tell Norman I said hello.

Junebug was the perfect venue for our August wedding. The venue and property are impeccably maintained by the staff. I cannot speak more highly of Charlene and Tom. They are not only very skilled at organizing a wedding day but are also lovely and welcoming humans. The uniqueness this venue provides has been met with amazing compliments from our guests. It is one of a kind! Our favorite standout moments from our wedding day were the wildflowers in bloom and having Norman the cat attend the ceremony front are center on the aisle. I would 100% recommend Junebug!

Junebug exceeded all of our expectations! Cannot speak highly enough of this place. First off. Charlene and Tom are both simply amazing!! We planned our wedding from across the country and they made communication and planning so easy. Additionally, Charlene even met with us the day before the wedding to make sure everything was good to go. I was blown away with how beautiful everything was. From the flowers to the creek and the campers, this place is just so magical!! To top it all of, you will most definitely be visited by the sweetest wedding guest ever, Norman the cat! She was one of the highlights of the day for us:) We wish we would relive our day at Junebug over again and I cannot think of a better place to have a wedding. Would give the place 10/5 stars if we could! Seriously HAVE to book this place!!!

We were able to book all the campers for a few days before the wedding for all of our guests and it was exactly what we wished for. Dinner and cake were delicious and the staff worked quietly and effectively to make the wedding just wonderful. We will all have great memories of this special day. Our group of 22 had a fabulous time. As the parents we were thrilled to be in a beautiful place with such a great staff of workers so we could enjoy friends and family.

I'm not sure words can even express how incredible our wedding at JuneBug was, but I'll try:Everything about this venue is absolutely perfect. First of all, the owners, Charlene & Tom are two of the most genuinely awesome people you'll ever meet. Charlene made sure our wedding day ran smooth, and was in contact with me every step of the way. If I had any questions, or needed guidance during the wedding planning, Charlene was quick to respond, and always professional and helpful. On the day of the wedding, Charlene was there to make sure the whole day ran smoothly and was stress-free.We wanted an outdoor wedding venue where we could also spend quality time with our close friends and family - this place is perfect for it. We got to stay in the coolest retro (very comfortable) campers with our best friends. After the wedding reception was over, there was still more fun to be had by the big bonfire! What more could you ask for? Well, there's plenty more. There is a beautiful creek that runs throughout the property. Over the creek, they have strung hammocks to relax in, and there are two beautiful bridges crossing the creek on the property that are great for photos and for just enjoying the peaceful setting. The ceremony spot is a dream come true; right in front of the creek, with lovely wooden benches for your guests to sit on, and an arbor over the ceremony spot. This venue blew all of our guests away. I could not have imagined a better place to celebrate the best day of our lives. Thank you a million times to Charlene, Tom, and all of the JuneBug staff for the best wedding day ever!!!

My partner and I were married at JuneBug on May 1, 2022. To say it was the best day is an understatement! JuneBug is the most charming venue and Charlene and Tom are the perfect hosts. We planned our wedding in 4 months and Charlene was so helpful, I couldn’t have done it without her. She is organized and fun to work with. They both made our day run smooth and we would do it again, over and over. We had our close friends stay in the campers after the wedding and they absolutely loved the experience. The campers are immaculate and the property is gorgeous, perfectly maintained by Charlene and Tom. They take such care in everything they do and I would recommend them a thousand times over.

The property itself is incredibly magical and made my fairytale dreams come true, but what truly makes this place incredible is the amazing support from Charlene and Tom. Always responsive to questions and concerns, and on the day of the wedding Charlene’s schedule made everything run so smoothly! They take so much pride in this place and that you have an amazing experience. We feel so lucky to have found JuneBug! Our family continues to talk about how special it was to all stay together in the camper space and get ready there, and how special the place is in general. And I love that we could come back to stay for a night in a camper to relive that day! I could go on for days about why you need to see it. If you’re searching for a venue and feeling drawn to check it out - DO IT. It might end up being one of the best decisions you’ve ever made! 10/10 would recommend!

Junebug was the first venue we toured. We decided to go on a whim while we were visiting my parents. On the way there, my partner and I agreed to play it cool. We did not play it cool. On the way there, when we pulled up the address, I realized it was on the same gorgeous country road that my family first moved to when we moved to North Carolina. And when we arrived at Junebug it literally took our breath away. I’ve always dreamed of having wildflowers at my wedding. Junebug has a wildflower field as you enter the grounds. It’s right in front of a winding creek that runs through the property. Like what?! We came for the retro campers (which are also stunning) but the entire property is absolutely beautiful and the work and love that Charlene and her family have put into this place is unreal. We booked our wedding with Charlene about 10 minutes after leaving the venue, but not based on the property alone. My partner and I both got the best vibe from Charlene. She is such a warm and formidable presence. A big part of our decision was that we were honestly excited to plan an event with this wonderful human. The process of planning our wedding ourselves while working crazy schedules from the opposite coast was a lot. We also didn’t go the traditional route. We had a vintage county fair wedding with concessions, props, and a performer. We wanted every detail to be magical and uniquely us. So we had a LOT of questions. Charlene took the time to answer and address every question or concern over the course of a year. The florist, DJ, bakery and my hair and makeup artist all came highly recommended to us by Charlene and completely exceeded our expectations. The day of, I woke up expecting to feel nervous and stressed but I felt completely calm. I had every confidence that Charlene had everything under control. Or would put out any fires in case something went wrong. There wasn’t a single hitch the entire day (1-10pm). Charlene’s energy and calm was a huge comfort. She even helped me button up the million buttons going down the back of my dress…the one thing I didn’t think of ahead of time lol. The wedding ran like a well oiled machine and we threw her more than a few curve balls. Basically she rocks. If you are looking for the prefect outdoor venue in WNC with a venue planner who truly wants to make your day perfect, this is the place. I cannot say enough about Junebug and the amazing owners and staff of this magical venue. We originally planned our wedding in 2019 for 2020, and like many couples we made the decision to postpone our celebration until 2021. Charlene was so easy to work with when it came to making that decision, and throughout the entire process. Honestly, Nich and were happy to have another year to work with Charlene and all of our other amazing vendors. Charlene and Tom put so much care into Junebug and the beautiful land that holds such a special place. Each time we met with Charlene out at Junebug, she would have the biggest smile on her face and was usually coming out of a long day tending to her beautiful flower garden....which is absolutely incredible!..and Tom was always hard at work continuing to make Junebug the lovely place it continues to grow to be. I loved the ability tp be super creative with all that this venue offers. Charlene was a built in day-of coordinator with renting the venue, and she was outstanding every step of the way. Things went so smoothly and she had a plan for everything and made sure everything was where it needed to be. The fact that this venue allows for 24 hour rental is another wonderful perk. Getting to rent the campers and be on this beautiful property with the closest of our friends and family was truly magical. It was the perfect place to start the day before the big event. Getting ready in the campers was a dream come true. We truly felt like Junebug was the place that fit everything we love. We had the perfect weather on a mid September day and had the best day of our lives happen here! Truly. My husband and I are not ones to say that about most things really...but its been a couple of months now and we both reflect on what a perfect day it really was. The fire after the dancing and reception portion of the night was the perfect touch. It was such nice way to wind down from a long day and we felt like we really got to connect more with our guests that we don't get to see as often as we would like to and to those who traveled a long way to be there. The next morning, Charlene and Tom brought breakfast items and coffee down for the guests staying in campers and their sweet cat, Norman, decided to hangout with us! Tom and Charlene were back at Junebug bright and early cleaning up the venue and the campers getting ready for that days event. Truly, these two are such hardworking and creative people. All of our guests and family were so inlove with Junebug and all there was to do and see on this beautiful property. We were so blown away at how beautiful and lovely this entire experience was and we will cherish it forever. We would give Junebug 10/5 stars if we could! Thank you for everything, Charlene, Tom and the rest of the amazing staff at Junebug!

My husband and I got married at Junebug in April of 2021, and we could not have been happier. We were their first wedding following the COVID shutdown, and everything went off without a hitch. They went above and beyond on everything. First, they opened a week ahead of schedule for us, due to scheduling conflicts with our family. We were so thrilled. Also, they let us come back after our wedding for our \"Day after Shoot.\" Charlene is great with the details and jumps in wherever an extra hand is needed, all while staying so calm and grounded. The bartenders were so fun, and felt like an extension of our party, and all the campers were clean and ready for guests ahead of schedule. Also, they had the fire ready for us when the music ended. Booking Junebug was hands down one of the best decisions we made in the wedding process!

My husband and I got engaged in March 2021 and immediately wanted to plan an elopement. The idea of a 200+ person wedding overwhelmed us and so we were set on a Colorado elopement. About a month into planning for that though, we started really thinking of our families and how they'd want to be a part of this special moment in our lives, so I made an account on The Knot to start searching!Within minutes, I found the Junebug Asheville treehouse by looking for something, outdoors, affordable, and intimate. And their treehouse exceeded all of those expectations! Charlene and her team took care of the decorations, food vendor organization, flowers, cake ordering, and more. If you're a more relaxed couple who's looking for an intimate setting for your wedding, this is the place!Flowers grown on-site was such a special touch and the day-of team goes above and beyond to make sure you're not worrying about anything. The one thing I wish I had done differently was share our cocktail hour plans + hot cocoa bar ideas with the Junebug team in advance so they didn't have to deal with as many family members asking questions day-of and not knowing the answers. I'd definitely recommend keeping your cocktail hour appetizers very simple because there's limited table space for this to be, but since their team is so efficient switching over the treehouse from ceremony to reception, your guests will be happy with drinks and small snacks for that transition time.We did our first look at our Airbnb beforehand and most people had already seen me, so I had to walk up to the bridal suite past all of our guests. If you prefer to not be seen until you walk down the aisle, you'll need to get there earlier than all guests because the spiral staircase is the only way to get up there. Also, the parking lot is tight for guest parking, so just inform guests in advance! We forgot to and some of our family could've brought their smaller vehicles to accommodate.I say all of that to just help in the planning process because this was the venue of our dreams and I want others to experience it in the best way possible!

When we decided on a destination microwedding in the mountains, we knew we wanted something that was very special; Junebug Retro Resort Treehouse is definitely a special place to hold any smaller occasion. Charlene is excellent at communicating and we knew things were in good hands during the months of preparation. We didn't see the venue until 2 days before our big day. We knew we made the right decision immediately upon seeing the grounds and the Treehouse itself. The Treehouse is magical. It is truly impressive and beautiful. It has some of the most perfect views of the mountains. It was perfect for the magical vibe we wanted for our Harry Potter inspired wedding. Everything was perfect, despite the fact that it rained the whole time (precautions to keep things dry were already put in place before we arrived). The flowers were gorgeous, the cake and food were delicious and the set up was lovely. Our wedding day coordinator, Kelly, did an amazing job making everything run smoothly. This place is magical! Charlene and Tom truly know what they are doing and made our day the best it could be! We were constantly told by our guests that our wedding was the best anyone had been to in a long time. The campers are such a great addition, the tree house is AMAZING, the ceremony area is simple and sweet, the playground and tractor are fun and picture worthy, the campfire is the perfect ending to a long evening, and the cat Norm is a great character. I can't wait to go back for our anniversary or for a quick weekend get away. My memories from our wedding will last a lifetime and I have Junebug to thank for that. I can't imagine any other place I would want to tie the knot. I highly suggest this venue. Charlene is not only a coordinator, but a problem solver, a baby holder, a calming voice for nerves, and has all the details and ideas you need as a bride who needs direction, all with a pleasant and welcoming smile on her face. The treehouse is absolutely stunning. The views, lights, flowers, food, fire pit - everything was better than we could have imagined. We had a very small ceremony and there is not a single thing we would change about the day. We were so grateful to find a venue that catered to small weddings. Charlene and her team took care of everything and were such fun to work with. We stayed in the campers with our guests and it was easily one of the coolest experiences we’ve had. I can't get over how great Charlene and the crew are at JuneBug. We were supposed to get married in September 2020 but that obviously didn't happen. Every change of plan, every bump in the road, Charlene smoothed everything out. She never once made me feel like a crazy bridezilla or that my ideas were crazy. The venue is GORGEOUS and every single guest couldn't stop talking about how it felt like an intimate party even though there were 100 people there. My aunts are already talking about planning a family reunion here! If you're at all wanting a wedding that's alternative but still completely beautiful, I can't recommend JuneBug enough.

From the moment I talked to Charlene Pagano at Junebug I knew this was where we would be married, little did I know how much more I would get than just a beautiful venue. Through the entire process, from navigating covid and family drama to deciding my flowers and cake Charlene was there holding my hand. When a loved one passed away she was empathetic, caring and beyond flexible, in a constantly changing situation she maintained clear communication with us at every step. We ended up switching from the larger venue by the charming flower field and stream, to the treehouse and have absolutely no regrets about our lovely micro wedding. The fact that Charlene was pretty much a wedding planner was the biggest relief in the world, especially when you’re trying to do it all yourself, I felt like I could go to her with anything. Both my husband and I were involved, but with how busy our lives are we loved that we were able to trust Charlene to make our dreams come true. The biggest surprise was when Junebug was chosen to be featured on Good Morning America, which is a huge honor, and then an even bigger surprise when Junebug chose us as their couple. It was an immediate yes as there was no doubt in my mind that while this was a big deal for Junebug and their future, there would be no compromise on the intimacy of my wedding. Everything went exactly as we imagined, and Charlene took so much care in making sure the integrity and uniqueness of our wedding was upheld. The all-star moment was when I got sick before dinner from lack of food and running myself ragged that day and days leading up to (I also hiked a mountain at 4am the morning of my wedding so that didn’t help). But Tom jumped into action finding my mother everything she needed to make a family drink recipe for nausea, which included driving to the office to get boiling water, lime juice and salt. It immediately worked and I was so incredibly thankful to continue to enjoy my special day thanks to the Pagano family. Not to mention Tom filming our entire ceremony and vows, because in all the chaos we forgot to bring a tripod. Going absolutely above and beyond their job scope, you can 100% trust Charlene and Tom with your big day!Junebug completely delivered on every promise, and our guests raved about the location, the cake, and the staff. My husband and I both agree, if we could do it again, we wouldn’t change a thing and it will always be a day we will relive in our hearts over and over again. Our wedding was straight out of a fairytale gorgeous, suspended in the trees with mountain views and delicate string lighting. What more could you want? The amount of gratitude we have for Charlene and Tom is endless! Thank you so much for being the amazing people you are!

We’re not quite sure where to start to explain the beauty and magic of June Bug! The best way to describe it would be love at first sight. June Bug was the only wedding venue that we looked at, and from the moment we got there, it took our breath away. It is a venue that has everything you could want/need, and its beauty speaks for itself. From the campers to the stream with hammocks and a bridge, to the field of wildflowers and the gorgeous built-in arbor and benches, to the tree house where we did our first look, June Bug does not cease to amaze! And just when you think it’s all too good to be true, you meet the owners, Charlene and her husband Tom. They are so sweet and down to earth, and you can tell by their faces and the tone of their voice how passionate they are about their magical oasis. Charlene made everything easy from day one. She explained everything, she was more than accessible and so transparent and always willing to answer questions. She told us that she is the day of coordinator for the wedding but really, she is so much more than that! She coordinated everything with our vendors and came up with a day of schedule and handled everything so beautifully and because of her our most special day was incredible and seamless. My wife and I could not stop smiling and kept saying to each other how our wedding was even more amazing than we could have ever imagined! Every single person that came to our wedding was blown away by June Bug and it’s just the kind of place that people will never forget. Our wedding was an actual fairy tale, and we feel so insanely blessed that we chose June Bug and met Charlene. We could not be happier and have nothing but good things say! If you are looking for a dream venue near Asheville, then you’d be crazy to not choose June Bug!

Charlene is just who you need to help you with planning too- very organized but calm and easy to work with. We ended up having our wedding AND rehearsal at JuneBug and everyone was so glad to spend so much time there.

Charlene is truly an angel. She handled everything the day of and I had little to no stress. Having the bridal party stay in the campers was a big hit as well. We made such great memories the entire weekend. Charlene also had a great list of vendors she has worked with in the past. Deciding to go with them was a great help because they knew what would look great at the venue. Wishing I could do it all over again!

We knew we wanted a unique venue to host our wedding, and JuneBug was a better choice than we ever could have imagined! The charming trailers were so much fun for our guests to stay in, and made for amazing photo opportunities. We hosted both our rehearsal dinner and wedding at JuneBug and the venue owner, Charlene, helped us organize it all. We planned our destination wedding during COVID restrictions which meant that our vendors were booked sight unseen purely on Charlene’s recommendation, and everything from the music to the food turned out better than we could have imagined! She made sure to ask us all the event questions we hadn’t even thought of, and coordinated all of our vendors after we booked them which made our wedding day seamless. We can’t recommend JuneBug enough, and our guests are still talking about how much fun they had in such a unique setting!

Charlene and Tom were wonderful coordinators for our treehouse wedding. We had a gathering with just immediate families, which included several small children and 17 adults. The planning on our end leading up to the day was simple. Charlene was very responsive to our requests and the day of went smoothly under her guidance. We had a excellent small band (Melonbelly) and photographer (Beautiful life photography) and she coordinating seamlessly with those vendors despite not working with them before. We would highly recommend working with Charlene and Tom at their unique treehouse setting or at their larger venue. Their property is gorgeous and they take excellent care of it.

We cannot stop talking about my sister's treehouse wedding at Junebug! The location was perfect and just so incredibly beautiful. Charlene was amazing and her and her team made everything so smooth and easy for us. We loved chatting with them too! They were so accommodating and it really helped make the whole event that much better. And we cannot speak highly enough about the treehouse itself!! So unique, so beautiful, and it felt so special. The rope swing was an excellent touch! If you are having a small wedding, have it here!

Junebug was amazing!!! My husband and I got married in the treehouse and absolutely loved it! Charlene, Tom and Kelley were so helpful and everything went off without a hitch. The venue was beautiful and we were able to take advantage of not only the treehouse location for pictures but also down at the creek. We did a micro wedding with only 20 people and it was so sweet and intimate. Everything was so well organized and the planning was so easy thanks to Charlene. The food and cake were delicious too. I cannot say enough about how amazing the whole experience was!

We would change NOTHING about our experience working with Charlene & Tom. Charlene was just a text away with my questions leading up to the wedding, which I really appreciated. The dinner & cake were delicious, flowers gorgeous, and atmosphere intimate & stress free. I will also never forget the small gestures from the Junebug staff that made our night perfect, and helped family & friends. All of our guests said it was the best wedding that they had ever been too!

From the day my husband (then fiancé) and I found Junebug online in January 2019, we were in love! It was the perfect mix of our WNC home and edgy retro vibes. We somewhat blindly booked it for June 2021, based online images and a phone call with Charlene - it was perfect. We felt it. We had no idea it could get even better! We arrived for our complimentary stay to tour the property and meet with vendors and feel even MORE in love with the venue and also Charlene and her husband. We’ll spare you all the details leading up to the actual day, but know that I emailed Charlene an ENDLESS amount of times and she very graciously responded to every. single. email - and was incredibly helpful. Fast forward to our wedding weekend and all I have to say is Charlene needs a cape, STAT. She and her team were on every detail and helped me (Type A / control freak) release some control and roll with the weekend as it arrived hot and fast. I was definitely stressing out at some point and she made a point to ask me if I was okay and if I needed help. They also started a fire just before our exit and brought beer over as we wrapped up the night with our closest pals. SO thoughtful! She was the BEST wedding venue owner AND wedding coordinator ever. Special shout out to her staff - in particular the bartenders - that got to experience the partiers in our families. Thanks for your patience and for keeping the juices flowing! Our friends, local to WNC, as well as NYC, loved staying in the restored campers! The bathroom camper are still being talked about, haha! And the morning-after breakfast was delicious and very much appreciated by all. I could spend all day writing about how wonderful our experience was. If you are on the fence about Junebug - JUST DO IT. You won’t regret it.

We were married on June 8th, 2021 at Junebugs Treehouse. I cannot put into words what a wonderful experience we had. From the very beginning before we even met Charlene in person, she was so attentive and incredibly helpful in making sure that this was going to be the most memorable day. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, her true wedding-planner side came out. She thought of every little detail! On the day of the wedding, it was more than we could’ve ever imagined. It was the most beautiful set up tucked away in the woods. Everyone was so incredibly nice & generous. So many people have asked me about our venue since posting our photos on social media, it really is a one-of-a-kind place. This is the wedding that nature-lovers dreams are made of.

My husband and I got married in the treehouse on June 5th, 2021 and WOW! I am so honored to be the third treehouse bride at Junebug. We had the most beautiful intimate wedding with our closest friends and family.I’ll start with the treehouse — unbelievably beautiful. As an out-of-town couple, we chose this venue based off of the pictures and videos. Seeing it in person right before the wedding only made it more magical. Pictures and videos truly do not capture how unique and special this hidden gem is. Next, I can’t speak highly enough of Charlene and Tom. From our first meeting with Charlene, I knew she was extremely organized, thoughtful, and the person I wanted in charge of my wedding. Charlene and Tom treated my husband and I as good friends, we never felt as though we were just \"another client.” Before we booked the wedding, my dad ended up being hospitalized due to Covid-19 for several weeks. They held our date during this time and were so patient and flexible with us as we navigated this challenge. Charlene and Tom have this perfect balance of laid-back and organized, which really put me at ease throughout the weekend. All of my questions were answered and all of the details were taken care of. For someone who gets overwhelmed with wedding planning, having Charlene handle flowers, catering, cake, music, tables/chairs, decorations, schedules, etc. was a dream!! I was still provided with choices and got to have significant input in these areas as well. Truly, I had minimal stress because of Charlene and Tom and my wedding felt personal and special — not at all generic or “one-size-fits-all”, despite being all-inclusive. This is difficult to achieve, and JuneBug nailed it!!! Additionally, Charlene is so familiar with the area and provided me excellent recommendations, including our photographer Tessa Woolworth from Folk & Wayfarer, who is amazing and far exceeded our expectations. The location of the treehouse and JuneBug is perfect. I loved being tucked away up in the mountains and enjoying the beautiful summer evening. For our rehearsal dinner, we were able to experience downtown Asheville and visit all of the amazing breweries. We loved it so much, we may end up moving to NC one day! The cake was exactly as I requested and so beautiful and delicious! The BBQ was delicious, all ready to go for guests. The flowers were gorgeous, all of the small details really enhanced our special day. Tom even pulled out his drone and got some shots during the wedding! I could go on and on about how blown away I was. I will never forget my wedding weekend and how truly special it was. The treehouse at JuneBug exceeded my expectations in every way, and I cannot fully express how amazing the entire experience was! You will not regret getting married at JuneBug! My husband and I are already talking about wanting to come back and visit : )

Our wedding at JuneBug Retro Resort was a dream come true! Starting with a mid-pandemic FaceTime tour, culminating with a flawlessly memorable wedding weekend. Charlene expertly crafted an experience straight out of a day dream. In a magical last minute dash, she managed to deliver the quickest pair of scissors a bride has ever asked for as she got ready in the final 20min before the ceremony, saving the day. If Charlene can pull off such an enchanting wedding at the end of a pandemic and beginning of a new busy wedding season, we can only imagine what she’s capable of in any normal year! The greatest benefit of having a wedding at JuneBug Retro Resort, is that you can always go back to visit and just stay in a camper for a vacation! For adventurous and wild souls alike, JuneBug Retro Resort is the perfect combination of quirky delight and tasteful uniqueness. This venue is in a world of its own, nestled in the scenic mountains of Asheville NC. If you are looking for memories to last a lifetime, the best hammocks over a creek, the comfiest beds to ever exist in a camper and a wedding that makes you feel like a forest princess with flowers in your hair, look no further!Last but certainly not least, Charlene is an extremely experienced coordinator who functions with the utmost urgency while maintaining a cool, calm and collected personality. We had our wedding at the JuneBug and it was picture perfect! Charlene was fantastic to work with and helped us through the process of having to reschedule from last October due to COVID. Planning an out of town wedding can be challenging but Charlene was a huge help and all of her vendor recommendations were spot on! You can tell that Tom and Charlene have put their hearts and souls into this amazing property and will bend over backwards to make sure their couples have a seamless wedding day. We had our first look in the treehouse and it made for such a special experience. All of our guest are still raving about this wonderful day!

It’s tough to compare Junebug to any other venue because it’s unlike anything else. It is nothing short of breathtaking. Every single guest, my husband and I included, could not stop talking about it all night. If I listed everything I loved, this would go on forever. From the campers to the creek, the bridge to the treehouse, it’s gorgeous. It’s difficult to hold a candle to the site itself, but Charlene does. She’s the owner and day of coordinator for Junebug. She was my rock for the whole process. I was able to enjoy my wedding because I had absolute faith in her to hold everything down. She is such a treasure and I am so grateful. We plan on making multiple visits in the future. 🥰

Hello! Let me introduce myself as the FIRST EVER treehouse bride! And let me tell you about this amazing venue. I had found Junebug on a facebook ad last year and fell in love with the place. The retro campers are so cute, the farm and wild flowers are perfect and then there is the treehouse. The wedding that belongs in fairytales. I knew I wanted a micro-wedding and Junebug seemed perfect. I called Charlene and she told me how at this time they only had done a mock wedding and we would be the first real wedding. With that even though they've done plenty of larger weddings down at the bottom of the farm I expected some sort of hiccups. It's only fair being we would be the first wedding. But let me tell you, this was the most amazing experience ever. I've been married before, seen alot of weddings and nothing compares to the experience and talent that Charlene and Tom have in creating the most amazing wedding experience for the bride and groom and our guest. She literally took care of everything. The decorations she provides are so adorable and perfect, the lighting felt like we were eating with fairies. Talking about eating, the food vendors were out of this world. North Carolina has amazing BBQ but this food, as everyone ate I could hear my guest saying how amazing it was. And the cake... Well there won't be any frozen cake for our first anniversary.Being married outdoors you have to expect there can be some weather and they were prepared with canopies. But when we expected downpours before I could call Charlene in a mess of what to do, she had plan B already planned and prepared. Thankfully we didn't have to use plan B but she was on top of it. The staff they have are just as on it as they are and truly I can't say enough of how amazing this experience was, and if you want a unique wedding that your guest or you and your partner will never forget this is the place. I know this is a long review but there is so much more I could say. There was not one thing I would change. I can't wait to see all the weddings that will happen in this adorable treehouse in the future.

About the venue: Well kept, adaptive to your ideas, more beautiful each time you visit.About the people (Charlene, specifically): Helpful, patient, generally a powerhouse of dedication and energy for you and your event.We got married a few weekends ago and booked JuneBug precisely a year prior. Charlene was helpful every step of the way. We opted to hire her as our day-of coordinator but she went far above and beyond her duties. She was a sounding board for all of my ideas, my Google for all my tiny questions, and assured me constantly that everything would, in fact, get planned and happen according to those plans. We spent the weekend at JuneBug a few weeks prior to go over schedule, plans, etc. and it felt more like meeting up with a friend than a standard business interaction. All that to say, she also perfectly balances business and professionalism - she is concise, punctual, and responsive.

We honestly could not have had a better experience at JuneBug! The space is so beautiful and has the peaceful mountain charm that I was looking for and more. Charlene was absolutely amazing to work with. She walked us through every step of the process, gave great advice, but was never pushy about what we should or shouldn’t do. She was also so incredibly kind during our reception. Even though she was busy making sure everything ran on time, she came over to me multiple times just to check on me and make sure I didn’t need anything and was having a good time. It was really so considerate and special. It ended up raining on our wedding day, but I was never worried because I knew we were in good hands with Charlene. And I think JuneBug was particularly beautiful in the rain! If you want a classic Asheville venue and to work with genuinely kind people who love what they do, JuneBug Retro Resort is the place!

Junebug was an absolutely wonderful place to get married. Charlene, Tom, and the whole staff truly go the extra mile to make your dream wedding a reality. We were thrilled to be able to spend the weekend there with all of our family and friends, and use such a unique, well-run facility to host our wedding.Charlene handles most of the communication and was also our day of coordinator. When it comes to getting what we needed done when we needed it, she was an absolute rock star. We had a very last minute near-catastrophe when it came to our wedding cake, and she stepped in and managed to save the day, and made sure everything went off without a hitch. We couldn't ask for more from her.Junebug itself is super cool! The whole vintage vibe with the campers is very unique and relaxed. There's even a playground for kids (and adult kids) with all the old-school metal playground toys! Everything is super clean, neat, and well-organized. I would recommend Junebug to anybody.

The venue is wonderfully maintained and set up, and Charlene was very helpful with the whole lead up and day of stuff. I highly recommend taking Charlene up on being your day-of planner, as there was no way the set up, and day would have run as efficiently as it did without her.All of our guests have told us how much they enjoyed the venue and how unique it was, and the pictures are absolutely gorgeous. From the amazing restored, vintage campers, to Charlene's beautiful garden, to the reception and cocktail tents-everything was more than we could have ever hoped for for our wedding!

I remember the day I sat down with my step mom to look at wedding venues! (after just 2 days of being engaged) 😁 My husband and I knew we wanted to get married as quickly as possible! The second I saw the JuneBug website I said that’s it!! I of course went and looked at 3 other venues in Asheville but my heart kept leaving towards JuneBug. I went to see the venue in March so the leaves were gone the venue was not wedding ready but I could I picture everything I wanted without all of the trees and flowers in bloom or the wedding tents up. Charlene the owner, she was my girl, she was so on top of everything. From start to finish! I could call, text or email her and she was on it. Making everything as easy as possible for me. When it got down to crunch time her husband was the BOMB.COM, Tom! Nicest guy ever, so accommodating and easy going. Charlene was my coordinator the day of the wedding and WOW! The compliments I got for the flow of EVERYTHING from the rehearsal to EVERYTHING on the day of the wedding. The campers were awesome! Our wedding party as well as my husband and myself stayed in them the night of the wedding. Tom and Charlene started an after party bonfire and brought all remaining beer and wine (post wedding) to the bonfire pit in a bucket on ice for the entire wedding party to indulge as we spent the last bit of time with our wedding party having more fun until time for bed! Tom and Charlene recently built this amazing tree house on the property! Tom took my mother in law and I 2 days before the wedding to see the tree house! I almost died and went to heaven! I asked if Ryan and I could do our first look up there.. Even with a bit of a construction zone they cleaned it up and Ryan and I were the first couple ever to be up there! It was so special to me. Our first look over the mountains and secluded up in the woods in a tree house! I could go on and on and on and on. The airstream bar with beer taps, the creek! The bridge I walked across and my daddy met me at the end to walk me down tow aisle. This venue gets 5 starts all across the board. I wish I could do it all over again! My husband and I want to rent out the venue for one of our anniversaries in the future and get our families together for another weekend there! JuneBug Retro Resort will have a special place in my heart for life. If you don’t get married there you’re missing out. #Bestweddinghandsbrown<3 A&R

My husband and I planned our wedding at Junebug long-distance, only coming to Asheville a few times before the big day. The first time we visited Junebug and met Charlene and Tom, we immediately knew we made the right decision. They were just amazingly genuine, welcoming, and responsive throughout the entire process. They helped us find reliable vendors and helped ease any stresses we had before, during, and after the event. Being able to stay in the campers the night of the wedding was so perfect and allowed us to spend more time with our friends who came a long way to see us. I can't say enough good things about this place and we hope to come back and visit for years to come.

Charlene and Tom are top notch! From start to finish they made us feel at home and we had an instant rapport with them. The value for money at this venue is beyond expectation! All of our guests were in awe with the views and hospitality from the owners. We engaged Charlene as the event coordinator and every detail was considered and executed perfectly throughout the day. The campers are authentically restored (even the radios work!) and were a treat for ourselves and our guests. We live overseas and were able to contact and communicate with Charlene and Tom at any time, allowing us to plan our wedding with minimal stress and full confidence. Their knowledge and recommendations for local vendors, that they have worked with previously, helped provide a seamless event run by professionals who truly care about their clients. Ending the wedding day around the campfire with our friends and family was magical. We highly recommend inviting a friend with a guitar! JuneBug is a full service and genuinely unique venue that our friends and family will be talking about for years to come! We can't wait to come back for an anniversary trip in the future.

My husband and I were looking for a venue that stands out, and JuneBug stole our hearts from the get go! This venue has it all. The ceremony space has such a great vibe with mature trees and a beautiful wooden arbor in front of a gently meandering creek (very auspicious in Feng Shui!). We had close to 200 people comfortably seated under the gorgeous double high peak tent during dinner (this tent would look beautiful even in a parking lot) and everybody boogied hard on the brand new dance floor. Our guests that weren't big on dancing were often spotted walking the grounds and discovering all the other charms of this property including the meticulously kept campers and retro playground. Tom and Charlene were amazing and a huge help with everything leading up to our wedding day and without them the big day would have been much more stressful. They truly did make our wedding day dreams come true!

June Bug was perfect for us! We could have made it as formal or casual as we wanted. Reducing the rental and vendor list was a bonus for us as it allowed us to plan from out of state. Having chairs, tables, tents, power, bathrooms, etc. already site was awesome. The bar cart is is also amazing, with and ice machine, taps and coolers.The grounds and accommodations were in superb condition. The wood benches in the ceremony area, cocktail deck, and fire rings are beautiful. Everyone enjoyed the style and comfort of the retro campers. We never felt restricted or cramped. The renovated bathhouse camper is perfect when you have a crowd getting ready. The service was impeccable and I am so thankful we chose June Bug! Charlene and Tom are wonderful people. Lastly, June Bug is close enough to Asheville so that guests can stay in the city or see the sites. But much of our family found well priced rental houses in Weaverville and loved the small town. We had a country side wedding while being close to town with resources and accommodations.

We had a very non-traditional wedding at June Bug. From the get-go our experience with them was head and shoulders above the other venues we looked at in the Asheville area. We rented all the vintage campers for our bridal party and groomsmen for the weekend. It was like grown-up summer camp. Adults and kids all had a blast. The property is beautiful and can handle a large wedding and reception, but would also be great for a smaller event. Luckily the rain let up after our guests began arriving, but they have permanent event tents on-site, so we would have been fine either way. No need to rent tables and chairs, they've got 'em and they're nicer than an event rental's stuff.I can't really say enough about the owners/managers Charlene and Tom. They were easy to work with and will be as hands-on or hands-off as you need. Charlene was great at coordinating with our caterer and various other event rental folks. You can tell that they've put their heart and soul into June Bug, and they've created something really special.

June Bug is the perfect place for any wedding, large or small. The retro campers, fire pits and flower gardens make it easy to decorate in any style. The staff is friendly, helpful and professional. There are several places you can have a ceremony and there's plenty of parking. There are designated places for the wedding party to get ready and to stay after the wedding.

JuneBug Retro Resort along with Charlene and Tom completely blew us away. They were flexible when our date changed due to family illness and helped us all along the wedding planning process. We loved that JuneBug didn't feel like a factory wedding venue, spitting out the same wedding weekend after weekend, and that Charlene was so incredibly personable and helpful. The property is pristine and the trailers are each unique and beautiful. We held our rehearsal dinner and wedding under the tent and stayed with our wedding party in the trailers (they loved the unique lodging!). Everything was on-site which made for the perfect laid-back weekend with family and friends. We really enjoyed playing badminton and corn hole and sitting by the campfire in the evenings. I wish I could give 10 stars for JuneBug (instead of just 5). I can't stress enough how helpful Charlene was throughout the planning process as my husband and I live in Colorado and were planning from afar, and my parents (who are in Asheville) were planning everything in person. She kept us all sane, and also won the award for fastest 100 yard dash when she raced back to get the bouquet I realized I had forgotten in the bridal trailer right as I was about to walk down the aisle.We're already dreaming of an anniversary trip back so we can stay at June Bug again!

Five star plus! Charlene is extremely responsive and supportive to accommodate the changing needs of a large wedding.We had to change our date and Charlene made it happen. (This is very tough to do in such a great location). She was the first venue we visited and we wasted time checking out at least 8 more in person. The setting was perfect for a gathering of friends and family - everyone felt welcome for the entire weekend. Awesome value for all this venue has to offer and Charlene is such a pleasure to work with. She is able to give great advice throughout the entire planning and execution of the wedding. Charlene always brought calm to any situation during the planning stage and I never had to worry during the event. She always has your back!

Junebug is truly a unique and refreshing venue choice. Their retro style and beautiful property made a very memorable experience for our wedding guests - a breath of fresh air from the predictable reception hall. The staff here are incredibly personable, easy to work with, and really contributed to the success of our day. They offer gorgeous options of ceremony and reception site, with a solid contingency plan (something that was very important to us). A major plus - our wedding party got to stay on site in their vintage campers, which was not only fun but incredibly convenient. You will not regret booking with these wonderful people!

What began as a Retro Park evolved into the most unique wedding venue in the world! Obviously I am biased but at least one person per wedding tells us that it's the best wedding they have ever attended....that has to tell you something!Tom and I attend every event at JuneBug and have labeled ourselves as professional wedding crashers. We love to watch our couple's guests exploring our space and creating memories that will last a lifetime. When he's not \"crashing\" weddings, Tom works for a biotech company based out of New York while I left my paralegal job to be the face of JuneBug.
