What a bummer... venue looked beautiful during self-guided tour, yet we failed to hear back from Anitra (Sales Executive) despite multiple emails and voicemails. We heard we'd work with a different individual once we signed a contract, but we couldn't even get in touch with her to sign the contract despite expressing our sincere interest at moving forward. Very disappointed as we had looked forward to having our wedding at the Camelback Inn.

This was the most amazing venue to work with. Reasonably priced for a beautiful resort. Marjorie the coordinator was a dream to work with. We even made huge changes the week of the wedding and she worked seamlessly to make sure we got what we wanted. Even with all the covid drama they worked with us and made us comfortable and feel in control the whole time. I can’t say enough good things about this resort. It was the most perfect location for my dream wedding.

I’ve reached out via email, the knot, and multiple phone calls to multiple people in the event department and general hotel operators and not a single person has returned my call. I even liked the site when I did a self guided walk around but since there has been literally no communication from them, I wouldn’t trust them with handling my wedding at all. They’re basically already telling me I’m not important enough to respond to. Super disappointed.

My husband and I got married at the Camelback on Saturday, 12/19/2020. After initially planning & having to cancel everything in our home state of FL, we moved our entire wedding to AZ site unseen so that our closest relatives could attend (travel concerns due to COVID). Without ever having seen the resort, we trusted that a JW would have everything we needed & more - and we were not wrong! The team at this resort have all been working for the Marriott family for 10, 15, 20+ years and they truly thought of everything. They went out of their way to ensure that our COVID wedding was joyous, safe, and special. Several of our guests shared with us that the hotel was one of the nicest they had stayed at and that the food was incredible - not just for event food, but for food in general!Thank you to Marjorie, Emily, Brendan, Anitra, Amy, & Shelley for making our day, and the entire weekend, an utterly blissful moment in our lives!

The $$ “Affordable” rating is quite hilarious and offensive considering how much money we spent on our wedding there!!! Really??? Moderate is the appropriate rating for this 5 star resort. Every single thing amounted to a HIGH bill. Affordable and not “moderate” is laughable.

From our pool event to our welcome reception to our wedding ceremony and wedding reception: the JW Marriott Camelback Inn exceeded my high expectations. The atmosphere, food, drinks, and staff were incredible throughout our wedding weekend. We worked directly with the event management team and they were a dream. They were always happy to answer any questions and helped us make our day stress-free. This hotel will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we will most certainly be back!

We stayed here for our first night, and had a beautiful group brunch the next morning on the patio behind Rita's. The room was perfect-- we even hosted some friends and enjoyed the pool after our reception. The staff had left us a card, rose petals, champagne, and chocolate strawberries-- so sweet. Our brunch was perfect too-- the spread was so huge (& tasty!), we got to sit in the sun, everyone fit easily, and our server was so attentive. I think his name started with an A, he was maybe 40s-50s? He didn't let any mimosa or coffee reach the bottom, and was so friendly!! Thank you all!!

We worked through the restaurant event coordinators to have a ceremony in Rita's Kitchen Garden and a dinner reception in Rita's private dining room. For our small, 40 person wedding, this was actually one of the more affordable places we looked at. The ceremony was beautiful, the service was impeccable and the food was delicious. I am beyond happy with how our wedding turned out.

This venue is stunning. My guests were GUSHING over the views. We worked with Anitra and Shelley and they were an absolute pleasure! I am so happy we went with Camelback Inn as our ceremony and reception site!

We checked out a LOT of other venues, but settled on this one and are SO Happy we did. It ended up being a magical weekend and not a single detail was missed. We were fortunate enough to have Erica as our wedding coordinator/guru and she was AMAZING. We had the ceremony and reception at Lakeview Inn, which is off the golf course at the resort. (Actually, about a mile from the resort proper.) The water feature, the greens - stunning! The overall level of service - from Erica down to the cocktail server the night of the event - went above and beyond and made sure it was a perfect event. I cannot more highly recommend this venue. My guests are still raving about this location and I am sure yours will, too!

I held my reception at the Lakeview Inn at Camelback Golf Club which is part of the JW Marriott. Everything was handled perfectly and was exactly how I pictured it. It was very expensive and the estimate was no where close to our final bill, but I had a feeling that would happen with an open bar all night. I would definitely reccommend this place to anyone. Marjorie and Ryan were wonderful to work with and I couldn't be happier with how things turned out!
