The Turnberry is beautiful! Staff professional and amazingly friendly! Bourbon Steak gave my family the best experience and dinner of my life!!! Being in Florida for 40 years and can’t recommend a better place to stay and dine!

I had the pleasure in going to the JW Marriott Turnberry. I’ve been there in the past for a party and now I was thinking of potentially using it for my future wedding venue. Unfortunately my visit wasn’t the expectation of the beautiful resort style hotel. I met KIMBERLEE​ ROWE the catering sales manager. She arrived late to my appointment. She didn’t seem interested in showing me the venue. She was quiet throughout the showings. This venue is super overpriced for her lack of professionalism. She never reached out to me after our meeting. This made me realized this isn’t the place I would like to celebrate my big day. Do yourself the favor and don’t waste your time at this location.

Do yourself a favor and listen to the reviews. My fiancé and I were emailing them since August for a November meeting. We were dealing with Kimberly and we made it clear about our guest count and budget. Kimberly never gave us any pushback. Closer to November, the manager Demi emailed us that we would not be able use the spaces Kimberly told us we could due to our guest count and quoted us double for the spaces. I let Demi know to read the email thread because that was not what we were told. Demi then said she would make an accommodation. We flew in from Boston and drove an hour on Black Friday to meet with Kimberly. We loved everything and we’re ready to sign. Kimberly sent us a quote and we told her to send over the contract and that is when Demi and another manager Sinaca said there was no way we would be able to use those spaces for the quote Kimberly and Demi agreed to. My fiancé is an ambassador elite with Marriott and spends at least $40k a year traveling. We were so shocked at their service. We decided that if this was service we were receiving prior to our wedding, this is not the team we wanted to be working with. Everything happens for a reason because we ended up finding an amazing venue with a spectacular team. Please stay away from them.

Very unprofessional, cancelled our viewing the same day we were suppose to come after changing the time. There was no reason behind it, if you needed a sign to know book this space here it is. It was definitely it for us.
