Kansas City Club - Premier Venue Collection
The Kansas City Club is a newly renovated venue collection in downtown Kansas City! Offering multiple venues for all kinds of events. Our University Floor will accommodate up to 225 people for a seated dinner and three ballrooms on this floor will host many weddings, receptions, showers, parties and more. The former "members only" Pub is now twice the size and the place for many cocktail hours. The President's Floor is the third floor with another ballroom, The Eisenhower Ballroom, that is perfect for a reception or a large dinner affair. Also offered is two suites for day-of getting ready and even a golf simulator! This historical building is not only full of details and charm but in walking distance of numerous hotels and the Power and Light District.

This place is quite literally the most perfect space to get married. Renee, the event planner, is absolutely amazing. She's incredibly responsive and helpful, and wildly nice. I felt at ease talking with her and asking her questions. I was thrilled with everything she did for us from the planning to the event to the cleanup. Kansas City Club is incredibly lucky to have her. The venue itself is so gorgeous, and there are a ton of spaces to choose from. One thing that's really cool about the place is their incredibly affordable a la carte option for rooms so you can pick and choose exactly what you want for your day. We used the main ballroom, the bar, and the groom's suite and it was perfect. We had our ceremony in the ballroom, followed by a cocktail hour in the bar, and then the reception with all of the eating and formal dances and whatnot back in the ballroom. The rest of the night people were scattered about the area, dancing, drinking, talking, and just having fun. The evening was truly beautiful and I'm so happy we got married there. As we walked out with our last box of decorations, I felt sad leaving. Thank you, Renee, for making our wedding everything we wanted plus so much more. I hope to be back very soon! (I already asked my husband if we could get married there again - you might not have gotten rid of us yet!)

This is a beautiful venue and exactly what we wanted for our wedding. It is an old social club in downtown KC only a couple of blocks of Main St, Kansas City Mo. It was so beautiful, there's hardwood floors in the 3 of the rooms on the main floor and very nice subtle carpet in the other room.Renee was our main contact for the venue and helped us plan an affordable wedding, that didn't cut down on beauty. She was open about talking about pricing, and ended up helping us find a better package than what we originally thought we could get. Neisha was our day of contact and made sure we had everything that we needed to keep the day moving forward. We were married in the Hearth Room in front of the fireplace, it made the ceremony feel very warm and welcoming, especially since it is such a large venue. After the ceremony we went to the University Ballroom and had a cozy dinner. Then had dancing and partying in the pub area. The getting ready area were also incredibly nice to have access to there was a shower in both rooms, and 2 restrooms. The groom's den was so much fun and also a few guests escaped up there during the wedding to shoot hoops and take a couple of swings of the golf club.

The venue and the staff were incredible to work with and made it so easy for us to plan and enjoy our big day with our family and friends. What a wonderful venue full of character and class! We are so glad we held our wedding and reception at the Kansas City Club, and cannot recommend it highly enough. The staff is also top-notch and will do everything they can to make your event as special and memorable as possible.

Kansas City Club was a dream come true and perfect for our wedding! Renee was amazing to work with! Renee and her team went above and beyond to work with us. The space is absolutely beautiful and creates a homey feel for a wedding. Our guests loved that there were so many rooms and you could talk in the bar or go to a different room to dance. Not only is the venue space magnificent, but the getting-ready rooms for both the groomsmen and bridal party are spectacular.

Kansas City Club was a dream come true and perfect for our wedding! Renee was amazing to work with! Renee and her team went above and beyond to work with us. The space is absolutely beautiful and creates a homey feel for a wedding. Our guests loved that there were so many rooms and you could talk in the bar or go to a different room to dance. Not only is the venue space magnificent, but the getting-ready rooms for both the groomsmen and bridal party are spectacular.

I really cannot say enough great things about the KC Club. Renee was awesome to work with, extra so because we had to deal with the unknows of covid while wedding planning. She was flexible and always quick to answer any question I had. The event space is absolutely beautiful. We wanted a classic Kansas City style wedding and we got that and more out of KC Club. When I first found this venue online, I was a bit concerned about how things would flow (we had around 220 guests), but that is where Renee and her teams expertise came into play. The building has so much charm-we're forever happy we had our wedding here!

First, I want to say that the venue is gorgeous. The space is absolutely beautiful and I am so glad we got married here. We actually booked the Kansas City Club just three months before our wedding, because our first venue closed down unexpectedly. We were so lucky the Kansas City Club was open for our date. Renee, the venue director, made sure all of the set-up on the day of went smoothly. We were also short a few linens, so she kindly brought in a few linens for the buffet tables. It is a newer wedding venue, so they are still figuring some things out, like seating capacities. Also, we had to provide everything aside from the tables and chairs. My husband and I ended up buying our own linens, which took about 20 hours to steam and iron. We had originally booked a venue that had catering, bartending, and a full-time event coordinator, so it was just a change for us. Overall, however, I could not have imagined getting married anywhere else. It was so nice that we could have the ceremony and reception at the same venue, and the bridal suite was the perfect place to get ready beforehand!

Kanas City Club is the PERFECT venue, not only is it perfect, but Marvin and Deborah Williams from Shining Star Catering, made it perfect for us. I live in Miami, Fl, and imagine planning your only daughter’s wedding from Miami in Kansas City with no wedding planner. No pressure, right! That’s what I did with the help of Marvin and Deborah. They both made it so easy and the communication was fast and on point. They both made themselves available at all times. The venue was gorgeous! Starting with the grand entrance, to the top of stairs, floors, casing around the doors, the list goes on and on. It’s a must see. The food from Shining Star Catering was so flavorful. Everyone was commenting on how great the food was (we had Italian). I could have not asked for a better turn out, and I owe it all to Marvin and Deborah. They made it possible to create a beautiful wedding for my daughter.

I can't thank the Kansas City Club enough for our perfect wedding. They went above and beyond to make the day a dream come true. The venue was unlike anything else we toured. The history, architecture, and floor plan are so unique. The bridal suite and grooms suite are massive and were ideal to get ready in. While all of the rooms are charming in their own way, we absolutely loved the bar. The dark wood and lighting has a speak-easy feel. It was great for cocktail hour and transitioned into the perfect dance floor. And then the food... wow. When Shining Stars is the onsite caterer, it doesn't get much better. I didn't know staff like that existed! After we were finished licking our plates clean, the staff warmly and promptly removed our plates. I hope my friends and family get married here so I can visit this beautiful space again.
