Keene Road Country Estate with Rustic Barns is a versatile country wedding venue located near Maple Hill, Kansas. The authentic Family farmstead and custom decor inside and out will create lasting memories for you and your guests. This historic Colonial style home and Barns is nestled at the foothills of the Kansas Flint Hills, and features beautiful farming and wooded areas that make for a happy celebration and a relaxing retreat. Facilities and Capacity The main floor of the Country Estate can be used for smaller events of up to 54 guests, with three dining rooms, while the Sunset Deck and Wrap around Porch enhance the enjoyment of the outdoors surrounding it. The Annex provides space for the Wedding Party to prepare, and the two Rustic Barns are utilized for dinner parties and larger receptions. The Big Barn can seat up to 250 people inside, with additional seating space on the patio . The Rustic Reception Area in the Granary can seat up to 120 people, with space for dancing and mingling. There are also open outdoor areas for parking and ceremonies for up to 300 guests. Many assorted rustic amenities, including the old corral fence, the bed swing, the Hillbilly Photo Booth, wooden gazebo, benches and swings provide the backdrop for some of your other Wedding moments and photographs. Services Offered Keene Road Country Estate provides the ideal rustic setting for a scenic and private wedding for a few to up to 300 guests. With the Rustic Barns as well, it allows you to create special Ceremony and Reception Space. You can create a full weekend wedding experience with our overnight stays. If you book this tranquil venue for your event, you will be provided with the following services and rentals: All-inclusive packages Changing rooms Chairs and tables Rustic Decor and decorations Walking trail Gravel Drives and Parking Kitchen access and party trays This 17 room Colonial Estate is charmingly decorated, featuring a large kitchen and utility room with newer appliances. It also comes with an outdoor grill, five bedrooms, three baths, and a large patio. The upper floor meeting rooms can also be converted into bedrooms, with the ability to accommodate a large group of families and friends overnight. Location Keene Road Country Estate with Rustic Barns is equal distance from Manhattan and Lawrence with all of the cultural and educational activities located in between. It is also just minutes from Topeka shopping and entertainment areas, the Kansas Historical Museum, Washburn University and the Kansas Capitol. The Country Estate provides guests with a convenient location that is surrounded by lakes, parks, theaters, other attractions, and shopping areas that are all within a 50 mile radius. It is just three minutes from the 24/7 Gas and Convenience Store, as well as the Subway. My sons wedding was beautiful! . Everything was immaculate, the people are easy to work with. The price cannot be beat! We were so happy it included chairs & tables set up, clean up, and even the use of many of her rustic decorations! We were able to use her burlap wrapped mason jar’s, table runners, and many other items. Love the Old house that we used for the bridal party to get dressed in. Would definitely recommend! . They have a air-conditioned tiny house trailer with two restrooms, small kitchen, plus full-size freezer/fridge. We looked at many venues, and this price beat all others! It is a rustic setting with gorgeous views!

Wedding was very nice and peaceful. Loved the reception in the rustic barn. The estate had plenty of room for my guests that stayed over night. Owners were very hospitable. I would definitely have an event there in the future!

We were so happy with our late summer wedding and reception. My wife did most of the planning, she was so happy with the help the owners provided her, they had ideas for everything from food to decor and were willing to work with both of us in our time frame. I was pleased with the cost for everything that was provided plus they got back to us right away with an estimate for our guests. Thank you Keene Road for your willingness to please my bride, we had a perfect day.

This place is Amazing. There are so many different options at this gorgeous place. anything from a barn, to classy, to outdoor and many more options available. The owners worked around my needs and did everything possible to meet my needs. I was able to get everything I wanted for my wedding plus the vendor was eager to meet our needs. Thank you Mike and Shelley for responding right away and accommodating our schedules, we had a perfect wedding thanks to you all!

We LOVED our wedding experience at The Country Estate! Luckily the weather cooperated. Lolz 150 guests attended our sunset wedding on the West field (fireworks followed our kiss.) :) <3 Then, we all moved to the large patio and side lawn for the dance reception. Our maids & men enjoyed getting ready in the upstairs areas of the Estate house. It was SO FUN knowing my soon2be husband was on the other side of the landing...just beyond the tri-fold...and I was able to sneak out to the landing to watch our beautiful decorations going into place. From the window of the Bride's room, we had great views of our friends and family coming up the tree lined driveway. It was the most perfect, rustic, outdoor wedding day of any bride's dreams.

Refuses to give quote, prices, or information on services offered when requested. Other venues have given all their information upon request, but they are wanting all of our information before they will tell us anything. If they are going to be this difficult from the start, I would rather just go with somewhere else.
