Deep Creek Landing Marina is a charming oceanfront wedding venue located in Newport News, VA. The property is operated by a team of seasoned professionals that are dedicated to the success of your event. Whether inside or outside, you and your nearest and dearest guests can enjoy spectacular views of the enchanting harbor. With yachts in all shapes and sizes, you can look forward to a distinctly nautical backdrop for your nuptial photographs. We have no stipulations on vendors, food and beverage minimums, or times that your ceremony or reception must occur in. We pride ourselves in allowing couples to determine how their special day should look like! Facilities and Capacity The indoor space, Keffer Hall, at Deep Creek Landing Marina features a reception room and a full kitchen. With a neutral palette, it can serve as a blank canvas for a plethora of wedding themes. The rows of windows also help to make the space light and airy. Optimized for maximum flexibility, the room can be arranged using many kinds of layouts. There is an intimate ceremony site outside on the lawn that features a memorable waterfront backdrop. Access is also provided to the fully covered deck, an ideal space for cocktail hours and general socializing during the wedding. Up to 120 people can be comfortably accommodated here at the venue with a maximum capacity of 80 individuals inside the interior of the building. The venue also has a designated Bridal Suite, which includes a champagne bucket, mini-fridge, personal bathroom, and amenities for getting ready. Services Offered Couples may book the venue for a single day or two, depending on how much setup time is required or if the day is needed for the rehearsal dinner. Bundles include tables, chairs, mobile bars, a wet bar, unlimited ice, outdoor heaters, security for the event, and a fully equipped kitchen. The staff is passionate about supporting couples as they plan their celebrations here. Couples may choose their own caterers and the team is able to provide a list of trusted vendors to make planning simple.

This facility is beautiful! It’s a very intimate setting perfect for a small wedding. The view of the water is calming and very picturesque. They let you bring in all your own venders at no extra cost & even supply the tables and chairs. The staff are so nice and very helpful. I highly recommend!

The venue was great!! Such a beautiful location and ability to use the indoor and outdoor area. Tables and chairs included. I couldn’t have asked for better. They also make sure to email you closer to the date to send reminders and just all the info you may need which was so helpful for me to stay on track.

We had the perfect wedding here! Great venue for an intimate wedding. You can have your own vendors and they supply the tables and chairs. The bridal suite was amazing for us getting ready and the views are beautiful. Very affordable as well!

We had my mother‘s 80th birthday party at Deep Creek Landing and it turned out amazing. The staff was very helpful and the facility was beautiful as expected. I came from out of town and was pleasantly surprised at first glance. The setting in the water was everything. And it was perfect to be able to seat people out on the deck as well as inside so it made the venue feel much larger. The decor is neutral so it allowed our color scheme to pop as well which was important. Thank you to everyone for helping to make my Mother’s Birthday Day so special! Patty and Andre Young

I had my wedding there last month in the on site Keffer Hall. The venue was very very beautiful and the staff helpful and friendly. The wedding venue was also more affordable then comparable places. They have a bridal suite on site which was also nice. Overall I would recommend this venue to anyone in the area who wants to have a small-ish wedding on the water. Thank you Keffer Hall staff!

This venue is small but gorgeous! It had outdoor heaters, area to be able to sit and overlook the water, a full kitchen, bar area, and a beautiful dressing room! Unfortunately it just wasn’t big enough for my crowd inside so we have to miss out on this beautiful place..Megan was very helpful and super friendly! I hope to come across more people like her on my venue search!

Absolutely amazing venue, The Staff were extremely understanding and helpful with all our ?s and requests to come see and measure the rooms for decorating. My Son and DIL had their wedding there on October 20, 2018 and everything was just as they wanted. We can't say a bad thing about this venue. The accessibility and having tables and chairs for inside and out helped alot. Do not overlook this Venue not matter what time of year it is a great value, you bring in your own vendors no list to stick to or only certain vendors allowed.

The banquet hall is small (>80 people), but I found it fit my needs perfectly. Between a covered porch, permanent bar, onsite kitchen, and gorgeous views, my close family wedding went off perfectly.\rThey had an agreement with a local rental company so we didn't have to pick up or pack up tables or chairs. A small pergola is outside for weddings- the backdrop is the small inlet. It is tucked inside of a upper class style neighborhood, but it doesn't get in the way. Also, reserving the site for the whole day, a Saturday, cost less than 2,000.\rIt perfectly fit what I wanted and all the staff that I met were very friendly.
