Nationally Historic Kenilworth Assembly Hall
The Kenilworth Assembly Hall was built in 1907 by George W. Maher, famed Chicago architect and contemporary of Frank Lloyd Wright. It is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and has served as a beautiful community house since its construction in 1907. Nestled in the beautiful North Shore suburb of Kenilworth, it is conveniently located from Chicago and is accessible by train and car. With vaulted ceilings, original hardwood floors, magnificent lotus flower stained glass windows and an impressive stage, the expansive interior of The Kenilworth Assembly Hall radiates classic arts and crafts style beauty. The adjoining Neighbor’s Room, with its two floating bars and wood-burning fireplace, feels like a cozy living room – perfect for cocktails or taking a break from dancing to catch up with family and friends. Thank you to Michelle and the Kenilworth Assembly Hall team for a flawless day! I would HIGHLY recommend having your wedding or event at Kenilworth Assembly Hall. Michelle was such a pleasure to work with. Planning a wedding from out of state during COVID was stressful, but Michelle made it as easy as could be and was incredibly communicative, responsive, and patient. Everyone was flexible as we adjusted and readjusted due to Delta. The venue is beautiful, unique, and flexible to meet your needs. It is classy while still being intimate and cozy. The new lighting is stunning. When we walked in the room on the big day, it was exactly what we envisioned and the logistics were seamless. Thank you again!

What and incredible find! This historic venue was so much more than we thought we would be able to have for our wedding. Ceremony and reception all in one place, the building has a full kitchen for catering to use. The grounds have so many beautiful spots for photographs. Truly this was a phenomenal venues

What and incredible find! This historic venue was so much more than we thought we would be able to have for our wedding. Ceremony and reception all in one place, the building has a full kitchen for catering to use. The grounds have so many beautiful spots for photographs. Truly this was a phenomenal venues

We chose Kenilworth Assembly Hall for our wedding venue this summer and we can't recommend it enough! Michelle is amazing at what she does and was a huge help during the entire planning process. Michelle knows all of the local vendors and had great recommendations for DJs, makeup artists, hotels, caterers - you name it! She is a class act and knows how to put an event together. The venue itself is beautiful. It has great bones and with little decoration, turns into a classic and elegant place to host a wedding. It is also near a lot of great places to take pictures: Lake Michigan, Kenilworth train station, and beautiful churches. We highly recommend this venue - especially for couples looking to host their friends and family near their hometown.

We chose Kenilworth Assembly Hall for our wedding venue this summer and we can't recommend it enough! Michelle is amazing at what she does and was a huge help during the entire planning process. The Kenilworth Assembly Hall was the PERFECT venue for our reception. We fell in love with the history and intimacy of the building right off the bat. The planning process went smoothly with a list of preferred vendors and the flexibility to see the venue when needed. Michelle was absolutely fantastic to work with and we couldn't have been happier with how the day went. And the fact that our 140 guests haven't stopped raving about it as well is just a bonus. 10/10, would recommend!!

The Kenilworth Assembly Hall was the PERFECT venue for our reception. We fell in love with the history and intimacy of the building right off the bat. The planning process went smoothly with a list of preferred vendors and the flexibility to see the venue when needed. The Kenilworth Club was the perfect venue for our June wedding reception! When we first saw it, we knew it was exactly what we wanted. It was intimate enough to feel warm and inviting but large enough to comfortably fit our 180 guests. The history and architecture of the building is rich and creates an understated beauty in a wedding reception. Staff is easy to work with and laid back. We were able to visit the venue a number of times for planning purposes which was extremely helpful. They have a list of preferred vendors which were also amazing as we used a couple of their recommendations. I would absolutely recommend this venue!

The Kenilworth Club was the perfect venue for our June wedding reception! When we first saw it, we knew it was exactly what we wanted. Hands down the best wedding venue! Loved the historic and cozy feel. We had a cold, March wedding, so we opted for the fireplace, which made a huge difference! Jessica was a pleasure to work with and was so flexible and patience with my millions of questions and requests. (I was planning the wedding from Oregon.) If we had to get married all over again, we would choose this venue all over again in a second. Thank you for all of your help in making our day so special and reflective of who we are as a couple!

Beautiful historic venue! We had the reception for our daughter's wedding here, complete with lawn games out front. Everyone at the club was great, the fact that the club owns dishes and glassware is a plus - less expense for rentals!

We could not have been happier with the whole experience at Kenilworth!\r\r5 stars in every category!\r\rService: Each and every person we worked with was helpful and made everything easy for us. \r\rQuality: The space itself is beautiful. I was originally looking into city venues but they were too expensive for our budget. I was specifically wanting Bridgeport Arg Center and Kenilworth felt like a piece of that. It has a similar feel and was exactly what I was looking for. Many of our guests were raving about the room. \r\rValue: We chose to get married on a Friday night which is a little cheaper than Saturday. All the tables, chairs, plates, silverware and glasses(not bar glasses) are included in the price. \r\rI would HIGHLY recommend!\r\r\r

We had our reception here. It was perfect. I had numerous compliments on the venue's architecture. Gorgeous lighting. Rustic fireplace. 0.6 miles from our beach. I was able to decorate and customize everything. It was an amazing night

This place is unique and beautiful! High ceilings with warmth and character create such an inviting one-of-a kind environment for guests! Definitely not cookie-cutter! Super charming venue with separate cocktail room with a real fireplace and great outdoor space.\r\rThe venue hosts one event at a time so you get the whole club to yourselves! I highly recommend this venue! Check it out for your wedding or any special event. The staff is great and are happy to go above and beyond to make your wedding exactly what you imagine!

We had our wedding at the Kenilworth Club and couldn't have been more pleased with our decision. It is a beautiful venue that is somehow simple and extravagant at the same time. Lisa, the club's director was incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process, and gave us lots of advice and suggestions on vendors and general wedding planning, and quickly answering any questions that we had. \r\rNick is another Kenilworth employee who helps set up and coordinate everything the day of. He was very behind the scenes and modest and did a fantastic job getting everything put exactly as we had imagined.\r\rIt is a truly unique and beautiful venue both inside and out. We had our ceremony outside, cocktail hour in and out, and reception in. It is one of a kind and we received so many compliments on it both the day of and long after. \r\rEveryone at the club is also very attentive to detail. The outside looked flawless on our wedding day, they had a small piano tuned the day before just for good measure, and helped with other small touches as well. \r\rAll in all, working with the Kenilworth Club was a breeze and I would recommend it as a wedding venue to anyone looking for a venue different than your typical country club where you can truly make it your own.

I had my wedding at The Kenilworth Club. It is a beautiful venue and it is unique. They have their own dishes/glasses which is nice - saves you from renting them and they have tables and chairs too. There is also plenty of free street parking for your guests. You also have the option of doing an indoor or outdoor ceremony or cocktails.
