Keswick Vineyards is a countryside wedding venue located in Keswick, VA. The property boasts the perfect blend of traditional elegance and historical ambiance, offering a picturesque setting for couples to host their milestone event. Providing breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the neighboring farmlands, this venue is a one-of-a-kind rural location that remains accessible to guests. Keswick Vineyards opened its doors to weddings in 2010 and has hosted over 400 memorable events ever since. The estate was founded by Cindy Schornberg, who has personally worked at every celebration that has taken place on-site. Cindy and her team of professionals execute each event meticulously, ensuring all aspects of the day are woven together seamlessly. The property accommodates party sizes of up to 200 guests and has a variety of ceremony and reception spaces available to wed. The elegant water fountain, the rich vineyards, and the pristine pool all provide idyllic backdrops for the ceremony and the day's photography. The property also boasts an airy Aurora tent that may serve as a romantic sheltered space for family and friends to dine and celebrate after the service. Keswick Vineyards offers various event packages to facilitate a seamless wedding day experience. Rental items available in the bundles include chairs, tables, lighting, and sound equipment, along with full access to the grounds on the day. Additional items can be rented for the day to ensure a pleasurable wedding experience, including a dance floor, heaters, and fans. The on-site wedding suites are also available for the couples and their entourages to get ready before the celebrations. We knew Keswick was the venue for our wedding the moment we drove onto the property. The drive through the vineyard is breathtaking no matter the season. We were initially torn between a date in August or late October. Cindy, the wonderful owner of Keswick, spent over an hour with us on the phone (before we had even signed a contract) talking through each date’s pros/cons, showing us pictures of the vineyard at the respective times, and helping us coming to our ultimate decision of October. She was so kind and patient with us as we went back and forth with our decision. Working with the Keswick team was a dream – we are not from the area, but they were able to accommodate a visit each time we were in town for us to check out the property again. We were given complimentary wine tastings when selecting the wines we’d be using for the wedding. They have a dedicated area on the property for you to bury the bourbon if it's a tradition you choose to take part in.Grace, the event coordinator, was amazing. She was quick to answer any questions we had via email or over the phone. Cindy, the owner mentioned above, goes above and beyond to be sure your day is everything and more you would want it to be. She is subtly present the day of your wedding to make sure everything is running smoothly. She drove us and our photographer around in a golf cart during cocktail hour to make sure we found the perfect spot in the vines for golden hour. She genuinely wants your wedding to be the most special day.The beauty of the property really speaks for itself. We were so lucky with the gorgeous weather coupled by the stunning fall scenery of the foliage and vines. We continue to have our family and friends rave about how beautiful the day was. The venue is absolutely beautiful and we received many compliments during and after our big day. Unlike a typical vineyard venue, the ceremony/reception area is completely separate from the tasting room, making it a very private evening, which was important to us. This also allowed us to easily book the venue for the whole day without interfering with the tasting room, which doesn't happen at other vineyards (we could also start our ceremony before 6 pm due to this setup, unlike every other vineyard we toured). Staff were easy to work with and flexible to help us with what we wanted to do. Everything was clean and the grounds look great, couldn't have asked for better scenery for us and our guests. We are so glad that we chose Keswick!

The venue is absolutely beautiful and we received many compliments during and after our big day. We could not recommend Keswick Vineyards more as a winery as well as a wedding venue! After contacting several wedding venues in the Charlottesville area, the moment we started talking to Cindy at Keswick, we knew this was the venue we were destined to get married at. So much so, we booked it without visiting beforehand. We were able to do a virtual tour with Cindy, and she answered all of our many questions with great detail and assured us we would have a perfect day. We fully put our trust in the Keswick team and could not be more thankful! Once we booked with them, we received a comprehensive recommended vendors list, which we followed and couldn't be happier with the vendors we worked with. They were all very experienced with working at Keswick Vineyards, which contributed to our wedding day flowing seamlessly.Leading up to our wedding day, we were able to visit Keswick on many occasions - to do our wine tastings for the wedding, bury the bourbon, and do our final walkthrough. Each and every time, the team was so accommodating and eager to welcome us back. Grace, the Keswick Vineyards Wedding Event Sales Manager, is extremely on top of things and worked tirelessly to ensure we had everything we needed for our wedding and that we were comfortable with all the decisions we'd made.The day of our wedding was absolutely perfect. The venue is stunning, and minimal decorations and florals are needed to enhance the space. Our guests could not stop raving about how beautiful the venue was - it felt like we were in the French countryside! The way the venue is set up also helps the day flow seamlessly - from the ceremony in the front facing the vineyard, to the cocktail hour area, down to the reception tent. Cindy and Grace made everything go so very smoothly and handled every little detail with ease which made me feel so relaxed on the day of. We had hired them as our month of planners as well and we were really happy we did! They kept us on track throughout the whole process and worked with us to solve every little issue. The pictures do not do the venue justice. We had multiple people audibly gasp upon walking up to the front of the property. The combination of the stunning white tent and house against the vibrant green of the landscape was truly so stunning. In the evening the sun lights up the property and gives everything the most gorgeous glow. All our guests are still raving about how stunning the property was! Many thanks to the Keswick team!!

Today is our one month of being married and my husband and I truly don't have the words to summarize Keswick Vineyards. We did what most couples do once they get engaged, which is to go venue shopping and nothing really popped out at us. In fact, we were about to call it quits and just get married in our backyard. Until we pulled up to Keswick Vineyards. The second we got out of our car we knew this was the one. Then we went inside and met Cindy and all the stars aligned. I can't say enough great things about how amazing she was with every single aspect of the wedding planning. She was thorough, kind, and made our vision come to life. Her team was nothing short of incredible. She encouraged us to bury the bourbon and thank goodness we did! It was supposed to rain (and yes, I called her almost in tears fearful that would happen) but she told me to believe in the bourbon and that everything would work out. Our wedding day was PERFECT and not one drop of rain, our fairytale dream came true. We wanted an outdoor wedding with a beautiful white tent and Keswick Vineyards exceeded our expectation. We were able to have our horse and carriage and our ceremony in front of their gorgeous home. From the breathtaking landscaping to the flawless getting ready rooms everything was spectacular. Don't get me started on the wine, which was to die for!!! We had Cindy, the owner, as our day-of coordinator (best decision we made) and her son was our videographer (another amazing decision) they are just the greatest people. We left feeling like we were family and I did tear up leaving the venue the day after the wedding because I was going to miss Cindy so much! I wish we could relive this day!

We knew from the moment that we stepped foot on the property that it would be a dream of a wedding and we were right. They were always easy to reach and were accommodating and attentive to our needs leading up to our big day. By miracle and the diligent work put in during the wedding we were able to maneuver a rainy day and have our perfect ceremony outside. Every second of our wedding went off without a hitch and all the details of the venue were absolutely STUNNING. To this day we still have guests rave about how beautiful it was. From the first time we visited Keswick, we knew it was going to be the perfect place for our wedding. We couldn't have been more pleased! The staff was wonderful to work with, despite having some turnover during our year and a half of planning. The weather was beautiful, the house was gorgeous in photos, and the tent was perfect for dinner and dancing (and was able to be closed up when it got a little chillier in the evening). We fell in love with this venue the moment we stepped under the archway and saw the sweeping mountain/vineyard views during the tour. In fact, on the night of our wedding, Cindy was literally running to ensure we had a shovel to dig up our bottle of Bourbon (a Southern Tradition). Nowhere else will you find a better person and team to make your wedding everything you want it to be. In addition, Lindsay was a great communicator and helped answer our questions in an extremely timely manner. On the night of the wedding, Lindsay helped tie up a lot of loose ends to make sure our wedding went off without a hitch.Keswick Vineyards is picturesque and the absolute best place to have a wedding. Pictures do not do Keswick justice because the beauty will honestly take your breath away. The guests at our wedding could not stop talking about how perfect and beautiful the venue was. The grounds are conveniently arranged to allow easy flow between wedding festivities. This allows everyone to truly enjoy the space and feel comfortable. Also, it doesn't hurt that the wine is phenomenal as well!Please look no further than Keswick Vineyards for your venue. Keswick was an amazing place to get married. I still have guests commenting to me on how amazing the venue was and how gorgeous. The staff at Keswick was awesome to work with and really went above and beyond. The owners are really good people. The flow of the day was perfect, the sunset even better and the reception made for a really fun night. Cocktail hour was seamless and we had the games set up in the back lawn to allow for more activity. It was so romantic at night. I had a very large bridal party (12) and all of us and even family were able to have enough space to get ready and move about before the ceremony. I don't have a single regret on choosing this as our venue. The wine was also amazing (rose especially was a hit) and its awesome we have a place to visit now for years to come. Thank you again!!!!!

His family has a neighboring property, so it seemed only fitting to explore Keswick Vineyards as a possibility… we were amazed! The venue and home of Cindy and Al really speaks for itself, but touring with Brian brought an added layer of magic. He really took the time to make you feel like you were the only couple he was catering to and helped you see yourself getting married at Keswick Vineyards. However, my parents live out of town and we still needed their blessing. We brought them to Keswick Vineyards to tour with Brian and we did not make it halfway through the tour before my dad was on board and ready to book! Cindy and Brian take such pride and joy in making sure all of their couples and guests have an unforgettable experience and that is transparent. Halfway through our planning process, Brian decided to explore his passions and get back to his roots of cinematography. He stole our hearts from the beginning, so we couldn’t let him get away that easily… we had to track him down to be our videographer! The services Keswick staff provided (we believe) is unmatched by any venue around. Their communication is top notch. They provide recommendations of vendors that took the guesswork and mystery out of the search, along with the stress knowing vendors had the Schornberg seal of approval (the team dynamic between the vendors was absolutely perfect the day of the wedding!). They pay attention to the smallest of details (details we would never have thought of) to make your day even that much more memorable. We had the majority of family coming in from out of state, so Cindy and Brian provided a hotel list and airbnbs in the area. It almost felt like we had a wedding planner that came with the venue!We cannot say enough wonderful things about Keswick Vineyards and their family. We continue to hear high praises from our guests on how great of a time they had (we had a blast too!). We cannot help but to contribute a large part of that success to the environment and camaraderie the Schornberg family worked so hard to establish. The Schornberg’s truly go the extra mile to make you feel loved and welcomed. In short, “perfection” is the one word that stands out from start to finish. Well, after each tour we kept talking about how much we loved Keswick, and that is how we knew that it had the perfect blend of elegance and natural beauty that we were searching for. We knew that we wanted an outdoor wedding with multiple options for ceremony spaces, cocktail hour, and a large, gorgeous tent for the reception – Keswick has all these things and more. After a long engagement and two pandemic postponements, we were finally able to hold our wedding at Keswick this past October. We received countless compliments from our guests about how beautiful every part of the property is, and how much they enjoyed our wedding. Not only that, but co-owner, Cindy, her son, Brian, and the rest of the Keswick Vineyards team were a delight to work with. They truly accommodated all of our requests and made our wedding day feel very special. It was very clear from the beginning that the family truly cares about their couples and ensures that the whole wedding operation runs smoothly. It is truly hard to summarize how thankful I am that we chose Keswick Vineyards for our September wedding. We wanted an outdoor venue with a tent included, which is exactly what Keswick Vineyards has to offer—among many other things. It is a stunning setting during any time of year (I toured in March, and was sold by it’s beauty despite it being the dead of winter). Not only this, but it is a family run business, and you can really feel how much they care about their clients. We had the owner, Cindy, as our month-of-coordinator (easiest decision of the whole wedding planning process!), and her son Brian was our videographer with his own company (also the easiest decision ever, as we got to know him during our initial tour). They are just incredibly kind people. This beautiful property is their home, and it is so well kept—it is very elegant and grand, but maintains such an intimate feeling. The KV folks are very detail oriented, share helpful resources, and are extremely responsive. Despite how busy wedding season gets in Charlottesville, we felt so well taken care of throughout our experience.

We cannot recommend Keswick Vineyards, specifically Cindy (the owner and planner), enough! My husband and I originally had a June 2020 date, but because of COVID, we postponed not just once, but twice. At that time, we had Brian, Cindy’s son working with us directly, and he was amazing throughout our postponements. He never made us feel bad about our decision and was very professional with trying to make a new date work. Planning a wedding is stressful, but having to plan a wedding with COVID in mind takes on a whole new stress level. We chose Keswick as our coordinator and we could not have been happier with Cindy. She’s very organized and detail oriented which is what you want in a planner, but because she knows the venue inside and out, it made the wedding day even more stress free! All of our guests kept saying how beautiful Keswick Vineyards was and it really is beautiful. You have numerous backdrops which include a beautiful mansion, fountain, vines, trees, and mountains which is perfect for photos! My husband and I originally had a June 2020 date, but because of COVID, we postponed not just once, but twice. At that time, we had Brian, Cindy’s son working with us directly, and he was amazing throughout our postponements. He never made us feel bad about our decision and was very professional with trying to make a new date work. Planning a wedding is stressful, but having to plan a wedding with COVID in mind takes on a whole new stress level. We chose Keswick as our coordinator and we could not have been happier with Cindy. She’s very organized and detail oriented which is what you want in a planner, but because she knows the venue inside and out, it made the wedding day even more stress free! All of our guests kept saying how beautiful Keswick Vineyards was and it really is beautiful. You have numerous backdrops which include a beautiful mansion, fountain, vines, trees, and mountains which is perfect for photos! Thank you so much Cindy and team - it really was the most perfect day!

We couldn't have picked a better venue for our outdoor fall wedding than Keswick Vineyards. The first thing we loved about it was that there are so many different spaces on the beautiful property to utilize (unlike many others where the same space will be flipped for ceremony & reception), such as the vines, the house, the sailcloth tent, the pool, the side yard with beautiful trees, etc.! The vineyards provide incredible views & the house is a spectacular focal point that is classic and timeless. What a setting! The guests couldn't stop commenting on how beautiful the scenery and location were.Plus Brian & Cindy were so easy to work with and ensured our day was just what we wanted. We can't recommend them highly enough! They were flexible yet steady -- something we appreciated even more during COVID uncertainty. They were always in our corner; Cindy even successfully lobbied the Albermarle County council to place \"weddings\" in a separate category of social gathering so we & others could have our dream days. They were conscientious, generous, and professional. And you get great wine! You'd make a wonderful and stunning choice to have your wedding at Keswick. We have no regrets and only wish we could go back and enjoy the day again!

Brian and I talked about how everything happens for a reason, and maybe we were supposed to be married on November 13th all along. If the views/setting, and the wine don't win you over, the staff certainly will. Brian, Cindy, and all the staff working the wedding day made sure everything was perfect - from helping with set up to greeting our families, to keeping us on schedule - they were all amazing and so kind! Keswick Vineyards will always have a special place in our hearts, and we will certainly be up in Charlottesville at least once a year to visit. Keswick deserves a special, detailed review because they saved the day a number of times and constantly exceeded our expectations. When we first found Keswick, we saw a promotional video from a number of happy couples who said that Cindy, Brian, and all Keswick staff made them feel like family. My then-fiancé was immediately sold...I was a little more skeptical, thinking through scenarios that would make those couples want to say these things...but I later found out that Keswick was everything those couples said it would be and more. Lucky for us, I toured Keswick with Brian and immediately loved the venue, and we were sold. We also hired Brian as our month-of coordinator, which may have been the best money we have ever spent. Planning went pretty normally through the following months, we were set to meet with Keswick at the venue on 3/15/2020 to discuss the event and walk through everything. The walk through went well, even though we were unsure what the future would hold considering world events. The very next day, CDC guidelines forced our hand to postpone and we called Brian, with a plan to try to reschedule. When he answered, he took the reins, had the best approach, being in a position of knowing all the vendors already, and really saved the day. He worked with every single one of our vendors to reschedule, fix contracts, and point out where vendors could help us by being more flexible. I really don’t know what we would have done without Brian and Cindy at Keswick. They saved our wedding, and continued to deliver, up until sending us a lovely card a week after our wedding. Just one small example, our initial rehearsal dinner location closed down, and Brian helped us pivot quickly, and find a lovely new spot. This was all in addition to what we expected for their services, which was help on the day of; Keswick exceeded expectations there as well. Brian and Cindy handled everything from start to finish! I’m not someone who stresses the little things, so it was awesome to have them there to handle it all. Our wedding guests commented endlessly on how smoothly the event went and how wonderful it all was, and while our other vendors (who were all also great, almost all recommended by Keswick) were a massive contributing factor, Brian and Cindy brought it all together, and my husband and I knew the entire time they were in our corner, devoted to making our day perfect. As a side note, Keswick has also worked very hard to heed all necessary health and safety guidelines to make all guests comfortable at their venue.I’m not sure how we could ever repay Keswick for saving the day for us over and over during such a strange time. Hopefully this glowing review (which covers only a little of why Keswick is amazing) can cover a small bit of that.

Saying it was a dream wedding doesn’t do justice to what Keswick Vineyards was able to provide us. From our first visit, my wife’s teared up eyes said it all. After 10+ tours across Richmond and Charlottesville, we knew this was “the one.”Throughout the entire planning process and day of coordination, the team at Keswick went above and beyond to deliver on their promise to us. I would say we are pretty good planners, but we would have never expected the level of detail that a venue could offer us and provide an experience that was enjoyable and one to be excited about. This is a family business, and it comes across in everything they do. And trust me, it comes across to your guests as well. With roughly 125 guests, mainly from out of town, they were WOWed by the beauty of Keswick Vineyards and experienced a true destination wedding tucked away in Central Virginia. We highly recommend this venue for your wedding 😊 And it doesn’t hurt that they have amazing wine too! We are now wine members and enjoy coming back to visit their tasting room. Their staff is always kind, considerate and go out of their way to make you feel special. With roughly 125 guests, mainly from out of town, they were WOWed by the beauty of Keswick Vineyards and experienced a true destination wedding tucked away in Central Virginia. We highly recommend this venue for your wedding 😊 And it doesn’t hurt that they have amazing wine too! We are now wine members and enjoy coming back to visit their tasting room. Their staff is always kind, considerate and go out of their way to make you feel special. Having our wedding at Keswick, I feel like we are partners in wine and joined an amazing family who hold a special place in their hearts for Keswick Vineyards.

Keswick is a beautiful venue - no doubt about it. You will definitely get some great pictures! Brian is very responsive and will answer all the many questions you will undoubtedly have. The house you see in the pictures is the personal home of the owner so you don’t have indoor event space in the case of rain. This added a little bit of stress about getting good weather the day of. You do have a bridal suite and grooms suite that are very nice! And there are bathrooms for the guests in that same building. You are not allowed to swim in the pool (understandably) but if any guest jumps in the pool at any point you’re charged $1000 so that also added some stress. We made a couple trips to Charlottesville to plan the wedding and map things out at the venue. They never explicitly said anything to rush us out but it always felt a little rushed because we were at their home. That being said, they were very accommodating and allowed us to come to the venue on weekends. Overall great experience and would recommend!!

This place is beyond stunning - the mountains, the vines, the fountain - while also maintaining a more intimate backyard feel. We really loved that the event space was private for our use, unlike some other venues where setup can't really begin until public tasting room hours end. We experienced quite a hiccup when Hurricane Florence threatened to blow through and had to reschedule, but Cindy and Brian were incredibly compassionate and flexible and really did everything they could to make our \"re-do\" nine months later as special as possible. We highly recommend - Love that we can keep coming back to pick up our wine club bottles and revisit the memories we made there!

I switched a couple of things up last minute and they were on top of it all, making the transitions unnoticeable. The venue is absolutely breathtaking! The beautiful Blueridge mountains backdrop the already gorgeous view of the rolling vineyards. Their sail tent, no matter how elaborate or simple you decorate it, is so romantic and a fantastic way to bring an outdoor ceremony out of the elements. I can't think of any other word to use to describe our day but \"perfect\" and that is all thanks to the KV team. They went above and beyond. I wish everyone could experience a day as perfect as ours. If you choose Keswick Vineyards, you will not be disappointed.

Choosing our wedding to be at Keswick Vineyards was a dream come true. The moment we stepped foot onto the property, we knew that this was where we would choose to have our wedding. Also, the fact that Keswick Vineyards serves same-sex couples and didn't bat an eye was something that stuck with us quite a lot. The initial tour was detailed, thorough and well thought out. We had the opportunity to tour the space, ask all questions we had and were provided all the information we needed in order for us to make our own decision. The property is kept immaculate, carefully landscape to ensure every photo is a good one with the backdrop of the Estate. Any time that we had questions for the Property Coordinator, she was quick to respond and provided us with details to help answer our questions. Nothing was left up to surprise. Our guests marveled at how gorgeous the venue was and could not believe it existed in the rolling hills of Virginia. During our reception at sunset, almost all of our guests were out in front of the Keswick Estate taking photos -- it was that gorgeous. All in all, we were comfortable, at ease and extremely thrilled that we chose Keswick Vineyards to be the place that would stay in our memory forever. We couldn't be more thankful for the time, energy and careful planning that Keswick did to help me us have the most beautiful and memorable day of our lives!

It rained and the day was still magical- the rain plan was part of the venue contract and didn't add in any last minute headaches- tent siders, heaters, umbrellas were all The people were so helpful and nice and make sure you know what to expect on the wedding day. The bridal suite and grooms room areas are super nice and a fun place to get ready!

From scheduling your first on-site tour to wrapping up your magical evening, the staff and owner of Keswick ensures every experience and interaction is top-notch. What makes this venue stand out from the rest is the combination of the pristine grounds, backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the charming mansion-all in one convenient location.My wedding was this past October and my guests are still raving about the experience. What they loved most is the privacy of the venue from the public, the excellent wine, and the diverse sections of the property to wander around, so- much beauty in one setting--the fountain, the vineyards, the lush natural gardens and a poolside view. However, the best part of the experience was the sheer talent and professionalism of Cindy and Wendy. They were on-top of their game and it showed. Their relationship with wonderful vendors, coordination skills, friendliness and keen eye-to-detail was noted at all times. It just wouldn't have been the same without out them and I can't thank them enough (I'm almost in tears writing this!) Usually there is always something that doesn't go as planned during a big event. In my case, there was nothing that didn't go EXACTLY the way I wanted it--Don't think I can chalk that up to luck. :)Planning a wedding is stressful, but when you have a team of strong, talented people on your side, sleep comes a little easier.

This venue is more than just a beautiful background, and I am struggling to find words to describe my experience eloquently. To start, you won't find a place who separates their business as well as KV. If you want the romance of the vines--most vineyards don't have a separate place to get ready. Keswick's venue is completely separated from their tasting room. You can come as early/as late as you want, and not worry about people coming in on your big day trying to get a last minute bottle to go. You can get romantic pictures around the estate, and not worry about a stranger getting in your shot. You have total privacy, and on your schedule--not the tasting rooms.The venue has a tent all year round. This is a bigger deal than you think--it saves you a ton of labor/cost, and vendors LOVE it because you skip the who set up process which allows for more flexibility in vendor's schedules. Speaking of vendors--the KV team already has tables/chairs should you be on a tighter budget, and it's included in the venue cost.The KV team is one of the most organized, and thoughtful team I have ever met. They are not only there to make sure that you have a gorgeous background, but they care about the actual marriage. They make sure you remember why you are there in the first place, and not a lot of venues can say that. When you work with KV, you are getting welcomed into this very special family. There isn't a thing that they wouldn't do for you, and as a bride that was so reassuring. KV has fantastic wine, a beautiful backdrop, and an amazing team that will bend over backwards for you on your wedding day. There are an overwhelming number of venue options surrounding Cville--but no place will celebrate you as well as Keswick. They don't get caught up in the event or the dollars rather, they get to know you, your story, and want to create this memory with you that will last a lifetime.

There are numerous locations to choose from for your ceremony location and the tent for the reception is the highest quality I’ve ever seen. We loved working with Angelica and the Keswick Vineyards team throughout the process. We also hired Angelica as our day of coordinator because we knew hiring her would provide smooth transitions and setups for the day of – she’s that good! She's very enthusiastic about your day and a pro at coordinating your wedding so you don't have to worry about anything. The day of the wedding was absolutely perfect. Our guests still talk about how amazing the location was and enjoyed every aspect of our wedding – especially having the ceremony and reception all at the same place. The owner of Keswick Vineyards, Cindy, made sure we had everything we needed several times before the wedding and was with us while we were taking pictures. It was so nice to have that extra touch. We absolutely loved our experience with Keswick Vineyards. The venue is beautiful, and provided the weather is good, the flow from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception is seamless. A number of guests commented that it was the best wedding venue they had ever been to. To top it off, Angelica is incredibly personable, helpful, and a pleasure to work with. She is very responsive and always went the extra mile to make our experience the best possible. She was full of ideas, yet never pressured us into anything. Another huge selling point for the venue was the separation of the tasting room from the event space, which allowed the wedding party access to the Carriage House hours before the wedding, unlike a lot of vineyards in Charlottesville. My bridesmaids and I were able to get ready in a lovely, newly-remodeled space, and relax the whole time. The groomsmen also really enjoyed their space, complete with a pool table, bar, and TV (crucial for the NCAA tournament fans). Already being in the right place made doing a “first look” before the ceremony a lot easier. One thing to keep in mind is the lack of kitchen, which raised our catering costs a bit (thankfully, it did not affect the taste of our food). We were also a little disappointed initially that we couldn’t have a live band at the reception; however, Keswick worked with us as much as possible and we were able to compromise by having an acoustic band play at our cocktail hour and a DJ at the reception. In the end, it turned out to be the best of both worlds. A wonderful unexpected bonus was receiving a USB of photos taken by the owner, Cindy. She took several shots that our photographer didn’t have access to, such as panoramas from the house’s balcony. Overall, we had our dream wedding, and it wouldn’t have been possible without Keswick and Angelica.

Keswick Vineyards was a fabulous location for a wedding and reception!My daughter and her husband both went to UVa and wanted to have their wedding in Charlottesville. They visited several venues but fell in love with Keswick Vineyards and decided right away to reserve a date. Angelica and Cindy have been so warm and welcoming to all of us. We visited the venue multiple times over the past 18 months and each time were greeted with enthusiasm and excitement for our daughter's wedding day. Cindy, the owner of Keswick Vineyards, is a photographer as well and was so beneficial in helping determine a location for the ceremony. We even modified it after the rehearsal to make sure the sun would be in the best spot for photographs. Angelica, the event coordinator, was also great to work with. She is very enthusiastic and really knows how to best use the venue. Angelica also offers 'day of' services. We didn't use her but I wouldn't hesitate to do so. She and Brian, another Keswick Vineyards employee, were so hands-on and efficient and would have been great to have on our 'official' team of vendors. We received nothing but compliments from our guests about Keswick Vineyards. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for both a beautiful wedding venue and one with a warmth and caring family feel. Thank you for helping make our daughter's wedding day such a huge success.

While there are a few \"standard\" ceremony locations on the grounds, we were given the freedom to think outside of the box to choose a setting that highlighted all of our favorite features of Keswick. We really fell in love with the seamless progression from the ceremony location, to the cocktail area, to the reception under the tent. Not to mention the amazing assortment of wine! Angelica was more than accommodating of our requests to make multiple visits to the grounds; and she was always available to answer any of our questions. Cindy and her staff were so attentive and helpful on the big day! They truly did not miss a beat! Cindy went above and beyond to make us feel welcome at her home; she even spent time capturing pictures throughout the day-which she graciously provided to us with a lovely note upon our return from our honeymoon. My husband and I were married on June 10, 2016 at Keswick Vineyards. From the moment that we walked onto the vineyard, we were blown away by it's natural and elegant beauty. Cindy and Al were beyond incredible. We had a looongg year and a half engagement, but through out the entire time.. whenever we came to the tasting room, we were welcomed with open arms and a countdown until our day was finally here. Cindy and Al, along with Angelica, became more like family than just our venue providers. They were available, with quick responses, for any questions that we had; and were always willing to help us solve any issues that may have come up. On the day of our wedding, they helped make our dreams a reality. Cindy and Angelica, along with our amazing wedding planner (Karen from Amore Events by Cody) did everything they could to make every tiny detail absolutely perfect. We decided not to have our ceremony there only because of the chance of rain; however, the early August summer day was still SO pleasant with the shade and fans running in the tent. I only wish we could have had more hours to get ready at Keswick Vineyards in the morning as they only rent out the venue for 12 hours. I am so thankful for the dream come true wedding we had here!

Keswick Vineyards was the absolute perfect venue for our dream wedding. The day was a little chilly, and there was a chance of rain, and the staff worked really hard to make sure that we still had our dream wedding despite the weather. The boys were able to relax in the \"Man Cave\" while the girls got ready in the carriage house which had tons of mirrors.\r\rYou have the option of a number of different settings for the actual ceremony and cocktail hour which was really great! We had our ceremony at the fountain, and it was a picture perfect scene. Our cocktail hour was moved into the tent because it was cold, but everything was absolutely gorgeous, and the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating to help make the move for our cocktail hour to the tent. The reception in the tent was beautiful and you could tell how hard the staff was working throughout the whole night! I really could not have asked for a better day.\r\rEverything for the wedding went off without a hitch! Cindy was incredibly helpful and generous. We got some amazing pictures down by the pond which Cindy took us to on her golf cart with our photographer. Cindy took a bunch of pictures and even sent us a DVD of the pictures! It was a great surprise while waiting for our photographer's photos!\r\rOverall, I absolutely loved everything at Keswick. I can't say enough good things about the venue and the staff. I HIGHLY recommend Keswick Vineyards to anyone who is looking for a wedding venue!

The beauty of Keswick certainly speaks for itself - but they go above and beyond. What we loved about this place is that it is gorgeous with an upscale look, but the \"feel\" of the place and people there is so down-to-Earth and relaxed. It is the perfect balance - they even let us use our four dogs in the ceremony! Shelley and Josh were such a great people to work with the day of, and Cindy (the owner) was just fantastic. You couldn't ask for nicer people. It was a little chilly while we were taking photos and she was so sweet to grab me a blanket to use in between shots! She took the most stunning photos of the day too and sent us a disc with all of them. You honestly can not ask for a better place to hold you wedding. Keswick Vineyards was perfect!

However, I chose Keswick because of the family feel you immediately get when visiting. They truly care about each wedding and it shows. Keswick Vineyards offered a spectacular backdrop for our wedding. Everywhere you look at Keswick Vineyards is a picturesque scene! Most of the local wineries offered available times as 5:00 and later, after the vineyards had closed to the public. This was not the case with Keswick. We were able to rent Keswick Vineyards from 12pm-12am. They were incredibly flexible on where we held the ceremonies on the estate grounds, which was especially important to us because we have two ceremonies. There was still ample space for a beautiful cocktail hour and lawn games! \r\rThe carriage house has a great space for the bridal party to get ready, complete with natural lighting and a wall of mirrors. There is also a \"man cave\" for the guys to hang out, watch TV and play pool. The sperry tent was amazing for the reception. It was a little cool when we got married so we rented their heaters and kept the flaps down and it was the perfect temperature. They also have a great speaker system that projects the music well to the dance floor, but the rest of the areas are not overtaken by the music. You can also rent the upstairs of the carriage house for extra rooms to get ready in. We rented the upstairs and used one of the rooms as a babysitting room. \r\rEveryone who worked at Keswick was incredibly kind and helpful! They were also very quick in their response to emails and phone calls. The owner Cindy Schornberg, was so welcoming of everyone and on the day of the wedding she took pictures as well. She shot some awesome shots of the ceremony from up her balcony. She also took us down to the pond on the golf cart for more pictures. \r\rI really can't say enough great things about Keswick Vineyards and everyone that works there! It is an amazing space to have your wedding!

The local is gorgeous with a classic estate, vines, and a great view of the surrounding countryside. The tented reception was perfect - plenty of space for our 110 guests. If you want an outdoor wedding in Virginia wine country, would highly recommend.

My husband and I live in San Francisco,CA and really wanted to find a location in Virginia near where I grew up but loved the idea of getting married at a vineyard. \r\rLet me tell you, nowhere in California wine country could you find a nicer venue than Keswick Vineyards.The owners and event staff thought of EVERYTHING to make your wedding day run smoothly and many of the items that cause the most headaches they included in the contract, and all at an incredibly reasonable price. Chair and ceremony rentals- INCLUDED, gorgeous Sperry reception tent-INCLUDED (I think it looks like the tent from the movie the The Notebook) , lights and dance floor and sound equipment for your DJ- INCLUDED, a fully stocked \"man cave\" and bridal suite- INCLUDED. Also, they very smartly designed a platform that has excellent drainage and astroturf for the reception tent- this looked natural, but eliminated ladies' heels and shoes poking through grass and getting dirty, and all the tables and chairs sat evenly. How smart! It really is designed for the perfect flow and they executed everything flawlessly. And, nowhere else that we looked had this. So unique, I imagine it will soon catch on at other locations. \r\rIn customer service and professionalism, they set the standard. We had nothing but great service and clear,prompt communication from the beginning of the contracting process to the follow-up after wards- the owner even took photos from the balcony of their home with a birds' eye view and sent them in a CD. (They arrived at our home only 5 days after we did!) \r\rAlso, an important note- Keswick Vineyards' wine is outstanding. They do require you serve their wine, but as they don't produce a sparkling, you can serve your choice. Also, you can get a discount on all wine purchased for the wedding if you join their wine club. (check to make sure still valid) \r\r

My husband and I have lived in Charlottesville for several years, and when we searched for our venue, we were looking for a place that was outdoors, affordable, flexible and that reflected the beauty of Charlottesville that we have fallen in love with over the years. The setting is absolutely perfect--the mountains, the tent, the vines, and the different well-manicured areas for ceremony, cocktails, and reception. We loved that we could be outdoors but still be protected from the elements if necessary. We even picked the venue before we tried the wine, and thankfully the wine turned out to be AMAZING! We have purchased a ton for our own collection, and several guests left with a bottle or two as well. We will continue to be members of the wine club and return for tastings as often as possible!\r\rNot only does Keswick Vineyard provide so many great amenities and rental items in the cost, but what doesn't show up on the list of provided items is the incredible warmth and family feel that the owners create. Cindy was always an email away and ready to answer any silly or small question I had throughout the entire process. She made everything so easy and smooth. We visited the property several times throughout the year, and we were always welcomed with open arms. By the end of the wedding day, I felt like they were a part of my family and I know that I have a lifelong friend in Keswick Vineyard. Absolutely gorgeous setting and venue. Your wedding can't be anything but beautiful here. Our unbelievable fall wedding here was described as \"storybook in nature.\" The staff is also very friendly and is now quite experienced as this has become one of the most popular venues in Charlottesville.

I just had my wedding at Keswick Vineyard at the beginning of August. Everything was beautiful. There's a amazing view of the mountains and the grounds around the vineyard are beautiful. All of the staff and the owners are extremely helpful and kind! The value is the number one thing that drew me to the vineyard, you get the perfect setting and veiw plus you don't have to worry about rents the tables or chairs, they're already included which was a HUGE bonus in my opinion. A great addition to a perfect venue.

I just had my wedding at Keswick Vineyard at the beginning of August. Everything was beautiful. There's a amazing view of the mountains and the grounds around the vineyard are beautiful. All of the staff and the owners are extremely helpful and kind! The value is the number one thing that drew me to the vineyard, you get the perfect setting and veiw plus you don't have to worry about rents the tables or chairs, they're already included which was a HUGE bonus in my opinion. A great addition to a perfect venue.

Keswick Vineyards is an A+ venue. I chose to get married in July so an all outdoor wedding was very risky weather-wise. It ended up being a very HOT day - over 100 degrees. Keswick's staff was great in helping us overcome the heat! We had a minor emergency with the cupcakes melting in the heat, but the staff immediately took control and saved the day by rushing them inside until cake cutting time.\rThe venue set-up made the evening flow beautifully. It was a seamless transition from the ceremony lawn to the coctail lawn to under the tent for the reception.\rWhat we loved most about the venue was the carriage house. We looked at a lot of venues that had a nice place for the bridal party to get ready, but no private/relaxing area for the groom and his crew. Keswick has a GREAT groom room with a huge TV, pool table, and relaxing couch. There is also the upstairs where we had babysitters available in case younger kids got tired and needed a place to relax.\rI definitely recommend Keswick Vineyards to anyone looking for an outdoor venue that has the charm of colonial Virginia architecture.

I am shamefully late in writing this review. Keswick Vineyards was the perfect place for our wedding back in May 2012. Barb and the team at Keswick were wonderful about making our day personal, beautiful and worry free. They worked seamlessly with my other vendors and have a fantastic routine.\r\rOur family and friends had a wonderful time and my husband and I would absolutely recommend Keswick Vineyards to anyone looking for a lovely setting for a romantic, garden style, vineyard wedding. The owner of the mansion was so friendly during the rehearsal and wedding day...she befriended my in-laws and sent us some beautiful pictures that she took during the events...some of the most memorable!\r\rLove Keswick and the beautiful Virginia countryside...can't wait to get back there and celebrate our anniversary!

Cindy Schornberg (Owner) Cindy founded the wedding side of Keswick Vineyards in 2010, opening her home to be the backdrop for an incredible venue and has personally been involved in every wedding that has taken place here. Having found her passion in making couples special days as magical as they can be, she is meticulous with an incredible eye for detail.
