Killington has always been a special place for my husband and I, so having our wedding up at the Peak lodge was a no brainer. Our coordinator Krissy was fantastic. There had been a few changes from our time of booking (policies/pricing/etc), but Krissy and her team were extremely supportive in helping us adapt while still working with our budget. They also made coordinating our room block and planning our rehearsal dinner a breeze. The day of, Krissy, Shea and the rest of the crew were on top of each detail, and made the day as seamless as possible. And the FOOD - we had multiple guests tell us that it was the best wedding food theyâd had, and we agree! Highly recommend this venue :) Reviewed on 25-10-2023

I would highly recommend working with Killington Resort for your wedding or event. Our wedding took place at the Peak Lodge, accessible only by gondola, and the views alone made it the perfect choice. The ceremony takes place outside, surrounded by mountains and Vermont beauty everywhere you turn. The reception is inside the lodge which absolutely transforms from a ski lodge to a beautiful venue. The gondola is handicap accessible - we had guests in wheelchairs. The team was an absolute pleasure to work with - they are excellent at what they do and helped us along the way with suggestions based on past experience, and even had 2 signature cocktails waiting for us post ceremony to enjoy in private before rejoining our guests which was a highlight. The food was outstanding, their chefs are very talented and many of our guests commented it was the best food theyâd ever had at a wedding! We are so grateful to the Killington team! We recently got married at the Peak Lodge on 9.23.23 and I cannot say enough good things about them. From start to finish they made us feel like we were special and taken care of. The lodge looked incredible, the ceremony space has been recently and classily renovated, and the Grand Hotel (especially Prestonâs and the patio) were a show stopper. The food displays were massive, and ever bit of food was devoured by my guests. I had MANY guests come up to me and mention how wonderful their interactions with the staff were. Literally, everyone from Sharon our coordinator to the bar tenders, to the maintenance staff were so outstandingly friendly and helpful. One staff member even came up to me the next day. She shared an incredible photo from our ceremony that she had taken and it took my breath away. She was the only person with that vantage point so if she never shared I would never have seen it!! Our wedding was a show stopping event, and I literally would not change a thing. From checkin to welcome party to breakfast and everything in between. Truly incredible! I recently had the privilege of getting married at Killington's Peak Lodge in June, and as someone who has worked in the wedding industry for many years (as a wedding florist), I can confidently say that the Killington Team was the best choice! From the moment we began planning our wedding, Krissy and the entire Killington planning team were nothing short of exceptional. Their attention to detail and commitment to making our day perfect was so evident. On the day of our wedding, the staff at Killington were not just helpful, but also incredibly warm and accommodating- to us and our guests and also to our other vendors! Their genuine kindness and attentiveness put us at ease, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment of our celebration. Even when we faced challenges (like a coinciding bike race and unpredictable weather) the Killington team's ability to adapt and handle unexpected situations was evident and we had no problems! Finally, I can't recommend the food enough! Everyone was raving about the food and it was truly delicious. We worked with the culinary team to make a unique brunch menu and it was so good! I 100% recommend Killington as a wedding venue. Reviewed on 27-09-2023

The staff was amazing and very friendly, but our wedding coordinator was hands down one of the best parts about our weekend. My husband and I live in a different state and Krissy, our coordinator, made it very easy and simple to plan an entire wedding from a few states away. The weekend of she explained everything in detail and answered every question my wedding party possibly had. She also contacted all of our vendors and coordinated specific times for them to be up at the Peak so my husband and I only had to worry about getting married. She helped bustle my dress multiple times because the buttons werenât holding. She also happily let me borrow her shoes so my husband and I can hike up the mountain with our photographer to take sunset photos. Our chef that was working at the Peak was impeccable. He took all allergies into strong consideration. My husband was also very picky about how our steak was prepared and the chef was very kind and made the steak perfect the night of. Also, what was very surprising were the portions of food that was given. Out of all the weddings I have ever been to our wedding had the most food to where people were taking home doggy bags because of the portions that were given. Emily McCarthy(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 12-08-2021 My husband Andrew and I started planning our Killington Peak Wedding in the Spring of 2019 after we got engaged. We picked this venue because we are both skiiers, and Killington is one of our favorite mountains to ski. When we saw the Killington wedding brochure in the lodge during a hot cocoa break we instantly knew that we wanted to get married at The Killington Peak. We started to work with Caryn and we were amazed at what we could get for the price: gondola service to and from our wedding ceremony and reception, a spectacular ceremony setting, and a five-star restaurant dining experience for an exceptional price at The Peak Lodge. Like most 2020 wedding couples, we eventually had to deal with heartbreak of having to reschedule our wedding twice. However, the staff at Killington were extremely accommodating and helped us find a time that would be safe and practical for our guests to celebrate our nuptials. Sharon ended up taking over as our wedding coordinator in April 2021 and with her help Andrew and I were able to pick back up where we left off to plan our August 2021 wedding. What Sharon was able to help us do in four months was incredible! When our wedding day finally came our guests were amazed by the incredible staff, delicious hors dâoeuvres, refreshing cocktails, and wonderful meals that we were served at The Killington Peak. In addition, the Hotel Staff at The Killington Grand Hotel & Resort were exceptional. They even delivered a safe, well-constructed crib to our room for our infant daughter to borrow during our stay. One of the coolest things that I remembered from our wedding was riding the gondola down the mountain in the pitch black of night after our reception! We also really enjoyed the buffet-style food and beverages at the âSunrise Breakfastâ that we hosted for our guests the morning after our wedding. We thought it was a great way to say \"good-bye\" to everyone before they journeyed back to their homes, and the food was excellent! Andrew and I would sincerely recommend The Killington Peak Wedding Venue to any adventure, thrill-seeking couples, like ourselves, who want to have a romantic, unforgettable wedding experience for an incredible price. We were looking for a unique location for our wedding but one that was also handicap accessible for a few key family members. Killington is (to our finding) the only handicap-equipped gondola-servicing wedding-on-the-mountaintop option in the New England area. Killington was one of two venues that we visited one weekend and we knew it was perfect for us and (on a Friday) was at a reasonable price point compared to more status quo venues. After our site visit with Caryn, we worked with Katie Carey who was absolutely amazing. She was incredibly professional, always responsive, had an eye on every little detail, and made sure that our rehearsal and day-of went as smooth as could be. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Katie and our day honestly would not have been the same without her expertise and fun demeanor. The K1 lodge is beautiful as is with floor-to-ceiling windows, clean lines, new amenities, and beautiful modern lighting - we hardly had to add much decor. The passed hors d'oeuvres were terrific and our bartender Evan was fantastic (my husband bartends so this was a big worry for him)! Saturday, Saturday was absolutely amazing and more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. Pictures of the Oscar Wilde Ballroom don't do it justice. Sharon and her team decorated everything for us just absolutely beautifully. From our guestbook and gift tables to the cart we used as a cookie bar, to our sweetheart table and centerpieces, everything was gorgeous. It was also very, very relieving to be able to trust her and her team to do a great job (way better than I could have done) which enabled me to enjoy myself Friday and Saturday without worry. Again, the wait staff and Evan were great! Everyone raved about cocktail hour, dinner, and cocktails. I even had a guest with a severe gluten and dairy allergy and she had no problems, everyone is very accommodating to this which I greatly appreciate. Since our wedding, several guests have also complimented our venue saying it was the most beautiful wedding they have been to and that they had the best time at our wedding of any other weddings they'd been to. Our photographer even complimented The Grand and the ease of everything (they even put a sheet on the benches of the gondola for me for 1st look). Just had a wedding weekend for my daughter at Killington Grand. Great place for a wedding! Working with Sharon was a pleasure. She was right on top of nearly every detail - including a Plan B for inclement weather which we ended up needing. Guests were not even aware that we were changing our plans. Things went smoothly and effortlessly. Killington Grand offers much for a wedding weekend - really nice lodging, pool and spa, outside adventure activities enjoyed by all ages, and options for meals. Cannot say enough about the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff of the resort during our staff. Only downfall would be construction happening during our stay - was not informed of this up front and was a major disappointment not to have access to the grand staircase and beautiful ambiance of the fieldstone fireplace and main lobby, especially during our rainy days. this was one of reasons for choosing the Grand, and then to have lost it, was a big loss. Also next morning after reception, breakfast at Prestons was a disappointment as well - understaffed, with only one cook on hand - over an hour and a half waiting for our meal, making us late for checkout - However - Manager came out with personal apologies, 50% discounts, and extended checkout times for all. We were very appreciative of the caring attitude taken. All around, I would recommend this venue for weddings most defintely, even with challenges, it shines brightly. Reviewed on 06-07-2017

I piled all of our wedding decor into boxes with some photo ideas and then told Katie to \"do her thing\"- and she did!! The decor was AMAZING. Everyone is still complimenting us, saying the venue was the most unique they have ever seen. Grace Geller(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 26-09-2015 Our wedding at Killington was beyond all of our expectations. It was positively beautiful and everyone - from the gondola operators and servings staff to our wedding coordinator Sharon - went above and beyond to give us the perfect day. To begin with, we picked the brand new Peak Lodge as our venue. Both inside and outside are unbelievably breathtaking, and while we had to be flexible because the room was so new, the space provided an elegant, one-of-a-kind venue. We decided to showcase the mountain by keeping all decorations minimal and had our cocktail hour and ceremony outside of the Peak Lodge so that our guests could enjoy the panoramic views for as long as possible. We were the first wedding to do so and Killington was incredibly accommodating in working with us to figure out the best use of the space. \r\rAside from the amazing space itself, the staff was wonderful. The gondola operators were incredibly kind in helping all of our guests get on and off of the (never stopping) gondolas. Many of our guests complimented the servers and bar staff and were impressed at their attention. The outside of the Peak Lodge has several different levels, and during the outside cocktail hour, our guests were impressed that servers got to even the most spread out people in our party. We were also thrilled to also have a dedicated server for ourselves, who made sure we were able to have as many of the appetizers as we could want during cocktail hour and that our food was not taken away too quickly as we were socializing at dinner.\r\rEric, the head chef at the Peak is truly a wonder. If you ever taste his food during ski season, youâll know that itâs not typical ski lodge fair. He helped us create a new menu befitting of the space and was absolutely delicious. Everything was also cooked to order and entire tables were served together, so each plate was delivered hot and cooked perfectly. We also had a few guests with dietary restrictions and Eric was able to adjust the meals for them, or in one extreme case, come up with an entirely new dish for our guest. \r\rFinally, Sharon Mayer, our wedding coordinator, was an enormous help. With a no-nonsense attitude, she organized everything to be exactly as we wanted and came up with contingency plans anytime things got sidetracked. She was always available for questions and put up with numerous phone calls and emails from us. The day of the wedding she ran the show perfectly. From small details like deciding the apple cider at cocktail hour should be served warm to go with the chilly weather, to larger items like overseeing the setup of the space and timing the exits for the processional, everything she did was executed with the utmost professionalism.\r\rAll of our guests have raved about the amazing experience at the Peak and their weekend in general. Most stayed on the property and participated in all of the activities Killington has to offer, such as the pools and the new summer adventure center. We wanted a space where all of our guests, traveling from around the world, could gather and stay together with our friends and family, and that is exactly what we found in Killington. From the views, to the food, to the service, to everything in between, it was exactly what we were looking for in a venue and couldnât imagine finding a more perfect place. Reviewed on 03-11-2015
Anonymous (bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 06-09-2015 I just had my wedding at Killington Grand Hotel over Labor Day Weekend and it was one of the most incredible weekends of my life. Our wedding planner was Sharon Mayer and she did a great job helping us organize the event. We planned the wedding remotely from Boston and whenever we had questions, we emailed Sharon. Sharon was responsive, professional, flexible, and very organized. She coordinated our rehearsal, brought up questions and ideas that we hadn't even thought of and made sure that our wedding weekend and wedding day would go smoothly. She corresponded with our vendors to make sure items were delivered and set-up on time. I arrived my wedding weekend without feeling stressed. Sharon allowed us to deliver all of our wedding decorations (large wooden pallet, vintage suitcases, multiple chalkboards, string lights, wedding albums, globe, etc), welcome bags, and wedding favors and she and her staff took care of all of the details. I didn't have to ask family or friends to help, and was able to spend time catching up with them instead of worrying whether things would come together.\r\rKillington is a surprising bargain compared to other wedding venues in the area. They offer season passes, a complimentary one night stay in a one bedroom suite (which we used as the bridal suite), free massages (which I gifted to the maid of honor and a cousin), among other amenities. It was a great weekend, a wonderful venue, and if I had to pick a venue, I would still pick Killington. \r Reviewed on 10-09-2015
Brady Halligan(groom)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 26-06-2015 We had our wedding at the Killington resort on 6/26/2015. After a couple initial hiccups with turnover in their wedding department, we were paired with Katie. Katie was thorough, receptive, and patient. She worked with us as our needs changed, and was very helpful as we worked through the planning process.\r\rOn wedding day, the food was top notch, the service was excellent, and the venue was set up beautifully (including some last second changes). It was extremely nice and convenient to have most everything under one roof. We did not have to worry about coordinating vendors as Katie and the Killington staff took care of all of that for us. For the few things Killington does not provide in house, the resort has a vendor list which came in handy as we are not from Vermont.\r\rWe had a Friday wedding. Katie and her staff even had some construction that was occurring take the afternoon off so we wouldn't have to hear them during the ceremony!\r\rOverall, we were delighted with Killington's experience and would not hesitate to recommend them. The easterly view through floor to ceiling windows provided the perfect backdrop for Alpenglow from every dinner table. A first dance came complete with falling (fake) snowflakes followed by lights going down for a stunning fireworks display that lit up the lodge from the outside.\r\rThere is no wedding venue in New England like the Peak Lodge, no nightlife like Killington, and no spring skiing that can compare to Bear Mountain. Killington can bring the beast mode and the beauty mode. In the end that combination is what makes for an incredibly fun and beautiful wedding.\r\rThanks to the team of people at Killington who really made this all happen. The food was phenomenal and way better than we anticipated. Our coordinator, Sharon, was super helpful and organized and made our day perfect! She also made it easy to plan from 7 hours away. The accommodations were outstanding and very affordable for a resort in the summer! We couldn't of ask for a more beautiful location and got many compliments. Only issue fromt the whole experience was the pasta bar took some time... i would make sure for a large wedding they have enough stations. Food was excellcent and the ballroom was transformed into just what a wanted with help from my vendors. Reviewed on 20-08-2014

The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all ran smoothly. Our guests loved the food and many of them commented on how nice the waitstaff was. The wedding planner worked with us for months to help us plan the perfect day- and she was incredibly flexible. She also offered some great advice and creative ideas. The day after our wedding was amazing as well. The Killington staff did all of the cleanup and brought all of my (there were a TON) decorations up to my car. We were incredibly impressed with the whole process. \r\rNot to mention- our guests LOVED staying at the Killington Grand. The weather was gorgeous, the resort was gorgeous, and there was plenty to do throughout the weekend. \r\rWe loved every second. 5 starts, for sure!!! Reviewed on 02-10-2013

She consulted me about big decisions and didn't bother me with details - just as I wanted. Sharon is professional and poised and approachable. I also appreciate how kindly she interacted with my family through it all. She's called a professional for a reason. :)\r\rKillington also catered our event. Everything was delicious, and those guests with special dietary needs appreciated the individual attention. Tricia S(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 09-10-2010 I used the Killington Grand as my venue for both my ceremony and reception. Initially, I was discouraged with the speed of response with my initial contact person, and had my doubts. After a few more issues, I was reassigned to a new wedding coordinator and the communication most definitely improved. I have provided a lot of feedback to Killington on what I liked and didn't like about the process, but all in all, Killington was accomodating with my choices for different menu options, quickly responded to my questions and concerns, and ultimately delivered an amazing day that went off with any problems. I began my career at Killington Resort in 1996 and have enjoyed many roles while here. My favorite by far has been helping couples visualize their wedding here at Killington and executing that vision, making it one of the most special days of their lives. I love to ski, kayak and enjoy everything Vermont has to offer. I also enjoy traveling and have been to almost every state in the country. I look forward to welcoming you to Killington and showing you why I love it so much.
