Eveliina Sinisalo(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 16-09-2016 We celebrated our wedding at Riverplace in Sept 2016 and we still talk about what a perfect venue it was. We did the ceremony and reception all at the deck overlooking the river and it was so beautiful. Our reception was cocktails only and we had about 60 guests, and it was perfect size for it.Everything worked perfectly about the setup and takedown, food was amazing and the staff was great. Josh is relaxed yet professional and it was great to work with. I sort of wish the hotel would find a way to include the bridal suite in the venue price for the hotel, but I can see how that could be complicated. All in all a wonderful experience, and for a decent price. We loved every minute of it! Reviewed on 02-11-2016
Jonas Merrill(groom)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 05-07-2015 We got married on July 5th, 2014, and held our family dinner and welcome celebration at RiverPlace on July 4th. The family dinner was held in a banquet room on the main floor, and the welcome reception was held in the outdoor courtyard on the 2nd floor. The courtyard was the PERFECT place to watch the fireworks and made for a very memorable evening. Angie, Chef TD, and the staff at RiverPlace were great to work with. They were both very friendly, professional, flexible, accommodating, and an absolute pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend RiverPlace to anyone looking to host an event. Cheers! Rebecca Ronzio(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-09-2012 We held our ceremony and cocktail hour at the RiverPlace in the courtyard on the second level. It was BEAUTIFUL! The wood deck overlooks the river and the marina, and I loved the fact that we could reserve the suite that opened directly into the courtyard! It made getting ready and making an entrance so easy! They set up a lovely cocktail hour display and passed hors d'oeuvres (these were set up in the paved area of the couryard behind the ceremony). The staff did a great job of turning over the space from a ceremony to a cocktail table set up - they did it while I was signing the marriage license in the room and I didn't even notice! They also let me bring in my own wine and just pay a corkage fee for that. Plus, I loved the food (from Three Degrees - RiverPlae's restaurant)! They set up a great tasting for us prior to our event to choose what we wanted and worked with us throughout when we made specific requests. The only thing I was surprised about were some added on fees (21% service charge on the room rental and microphone rental?) and the final bar tab seemed very high, but I know our friends can drink! Overall very happy!! Reviewed on 28-09-2012
Julie Norwood(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 23-07-2011 We chose the Riverplace hotel because of its location (downtown waterfront) and beauty. They have both a ballroom (we didn't view this) and a private outdoor veranda that overlooks the water (where we had our reception). We actually wanted to have both the ceremony and reception there but could only do one as there was nowhere for the guests to go for the take down/set up in between. It was absolutely gorgeous and everything we could have asked for. We stayed in the sweet that opens up on the veranda which was perfect for the wedding party to toast and spend time prior to arrival. During the summer it is perfectly landscaped, with a dance floor, trellace, and deck that I believe can accopmodate up to 125 people. We had 75 and it was perfect. I would absolutely reccommend the veranda. Reviewed on 20-08-2011
