Kin Loch is a lavender farm offering a stunning modern-meets-rustic barn, and the only woodland ceremony location in North Buffalo. If you’re looking for a fully private wedding on a gorgeous 30-acre farm with fire pits, corn hole and sunset photos, then Kin Loch is your spot. The property features a lavender field, hayfield and large manicured lawn for a picture-perfect setting. The 3,000-square-foot barn can accommodate groups of up to 120 people, and includes bathrooms, bars and a caterers room. Alex, the owner made it incredibly easy. She was so knowledgeable and offered suggestions along the way for the planning process. I never had to wait more than 24 hours for a response to a question. Everything is beautiful at this location, and the barn holds about 130 people- how many we were looking to invite. We received a day of coordinator (Jessica), who ran the night to perfection. They included to many little touches which we appreciated, and set up the venue to exactly how I pictured! And to top things off, after the last song played, a neighboring residence set off fireworks that we got to enjoy. It wasn’t planned by Kin Loch, but was an amazing surprise and perfect timing just by chance! My only complaint is there is no power in their wooded area for the ceremony. The DJ has to bring an extension cord for their music (and it is quite a long extension cord for setup). During our ceremony, the extension cord got disconnected and there was no music for a good 20-30 seconds while our DJ ran like a madman to try and fix the problem. I understand that this ceremony location is new, but power directly in the woods would have been really helpful- and avoided the little snag we had.

Kin Loch was the perfect place to have our wedding! The land and barn are STUNNING, Alex (the owner) has the planning process down to a science, and everyone she has working there are so easy going. Highly recommend this venue!!

Meet the Kin Loch Farmstead Team
Alexandra Plante (Owner) Hello and welcome to my farm! I grew up in the restaurant business, catering many weddings in my earlier years. I then went on to handle event planning in New York City, but in 2016 I decided to return to my roots, moving back to Upstate NY to start a project I had been dreaming about ... a lavender farm and barn venue! In gaelic, kin means \"family\" and loch means \"lake.\" My hope is that Kin Loch Farmstead will be a place where many families will be united, at our little farm nestled between Lake Ontario and Lake Erie.
