We had our wedding here in October. The weather was perfect, the venue was beautiful. The bridal suite was so cozy and we were able to relax and enjoy our time as we got ready. Our photographers and videographer were able to get so many great shots. The beauty of the venue made it that much easier. We did not use much decor at the actual ceremony site near the water. It was not needed, the natural beauty was enough. The price was very affordable. I truly would not change much of anything about our wedding day!

I just first want to start off by saying that I absolutely loved celebrating such a big part of my life at KGL Farm & the compliments I got from the guest were amazing! I just got married on 11/12 & this was my experience. Mrs. Poole was very quick with responses & always made sure to explain every answer to my 1000+ questions! I had her son in law & daughter cater with charcuterie boards. It was delicious & so beautifully put together. They made sure every time something was running low, to refill it & made sure everything was the way I liked, even the decorations. They left me such a sweet gift for the day off, that I didn’t even notice until I was leaving (ha, crazy day!). They allowed us to use their golf cart to transport the grandparents & anyone who needed it. The bartender they hired was pouring them good and strong. I might also add, I had my own alcohol put to the side for only me, & when my mom asked for the same drink (he didn’t meet her prior lol), he made sure to follow what my bridesmaids told him! & of course, my mom did get a drink after my approval. My only suggestion would be a fan in the bride’s room because it got toasty, even with the back hallway window open. But everything about the day was awesome & I will definitely be sure to share some photos as soon as I receive them! I would 10/10 recommend this venue to anyone & appreciate Mrs. Poole and all of her assistance during the crazy day and months leading up!

Elinor was amazing from the start! With telling us her vision for the farm to making it come alive, our wedding was amazing! Guests couldn’t stop talking about the beautiful property! Great communication and the perfect location for a barn/rustic wedding!

King George is a family owned and operated lavender farm in Barnwell, SC. George Poole grew up on a dairy farm in Central NY and has had a love of animals and the satisfaction of growing his own crops. Elinor has had a love of gardening and horticulture most of her life with a specific love of lavender.Their two loves have been a perfect match in marriage and helping them realize their dream of opening a lavender farm.George and Elinor moved to SC from NY in 2016 and purchased an 80 acre farm, since then they have expanded the farm by adding 35 acres this past fall.
